6361  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What Type of Gambler Am I? on: June 25, 2022, 03:38:01 PM
I'm more like the "Conservative Gambler", and I admit that I'm more into the modest when it comes to what budget to gamble. I think there are gamblers that can have two or more types I guess and not solely on one type, though most may fall on one type I suppose.
most people choosing conservative gambling may not know exactly what class of gambler they are, since one can easily slide from one class to the other, I relatively believe that social gamblers and conservative gamblers will be on the same page and the two classes belong to the same family with similar gambling behavior and limit in gambling involvement.

Yeah, The process of determining participants is what makes this kind of Twitter giveaway very hard to win since there is a lot of twitter user that hunts casino giveaways and these huge number will decrease your chance of winning. I was participating on duelbits before and you can that most of the winners that they choose are very active on giveaways on different casino. You need to have a very good luck to win on this kind of giveaway because the answer to the contest is just the easy part to win, being chosen as a winner is the greatest hurdle.
Giveaway context always comes with an easy question but the selection is indeed the big deal as you have said correctly, and this also gets me tired of participating in give-aways most time. I have tried severally to win some but am always late for the party each time a winner is selected before me. and again the registration of bots accounts, especially on Twitter have also slimmed the chances of real accounts as there are hundreds of bot accounts on that platform. But anyway one day luck will shine on some of us waiting to get a chance to win some free spins on Gamdom or duelbits and the rest.

Here's a little bit more information about our Mega Airdrop on CoinMarketCap
    https://coinmarketcap.com/gravity/articles/30365
    Questions..

    - How do Owl.games select those eligible airdrop participants by simply completing the tasks required?
    - How about the receiving address?
    - Is there any parameters or points to reach for a person to be eligible?

Interestingly, this will be the first airdrop I will be participating in since I stopped doing bounty campaigns...  Grin Thank you very much!
Those are some of the questions that always draw me back from participating in airdrop or bounties, the team always finds it hard to verify participants, and at that many fake accounts get access and absorbed the rewards leaving other legitimate participants will be left with nothing. Take what happened to owl bounty recently where there are cases of abuse and multiple accounts enrollment, which was against the rule and a violation that lead to the pausing of the other promotional sig campaign. That is, by the way, the coin market cap is a big market place and hosting an airdrop there will give the token bigger exposure.
6365  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What Type of Gambler Am I? on: June 24, 2022, 08:53:35 PM
Indeed there are different levels of gambling for different people, and it is mostly based on how much income they have access to,
Well if you base your gambling decision on the amount of income you are open to, you may easily slide from one level of a gambling class to the other and ultimately dive into addiction since your income determines your gambling level, I belong to the social class and have taken gambling as a fun practice, what I do mostly is to set aside a small amount just for fun and once it gets to my zero zones I walk away no matter what. But as a regular gamblers, we must be careful not to slide from one class to another and be able to sustain a level playing ground between our present position and the next,
6366  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Best time to buy or wait a little bit ? on: June 24, 2022, 06:48:12 PM
The best time is now and is bullish about Bitcoin at this period.
I like your buying strategy and I think it is the safest investment method, especially in a volatile market like Bitcoin, I did a similar buying move recently but since I bought at 19k it has not gone below that price as Bitcoin recovered back to 20k and have remained at that benchmark for a while now. This strategy is best for a ready bearish market because it can go side ways Bitcoin may never go below 20k again for a while and can even make more bearish movement thereby reaching a price around 25k and after then recover back to 30k or above, the cash you are holding may become at lost to you because at that time hard it been you bought Bitcoin 100%. Am not saying that will happen any was but just take this as the next investment and buying advice to look into.
6367  Economy / Gambling / Re: Bitcoin Casinos Vs Ethereum Casinos on: June 24, 2022, 03:20:01 PM
The authors of the article might not even have bothered to give examples of online casinos that use ETH exclusively, even from that link (https://casinosblockchain.io/best-ethereum-casinos / ) what they cite is there are casinos accepting bitcoin, and there are platforms under the same name, but based on different networks, for example rocketpot.io.
It seems to me that online casinos with multi-crypto deposits are the most attractive
I thought I was the only one getting a wrong point from the article and I think the writer of that article is still an amateur writer trying to point out the advantages of Dapp and multi-chain casinos, ethereum may have been mentioned because the Dapp is run on the ethereum blockchain. But just as you mentioned most gamblers will rather choose a casino with a multi deposits currency option and allow for low fees such as the use of the LN network within some casinos to tackle the problem of fees and delayed transaction time.
6368  Economy / Gambling / Re: Bitcoin Casinos Vs Ethereum Casinos on: June 24, 2022, 10:11:23 AM
When it comes to casinos what I look forward to is fees and once a particular coin be it Bitcoin or ethereum have low fees I will opt-in for it. I am more convenient using Bitcoin to make my bets so most time I use Bitcoin so I am always looking out for casinos that accept Bitcoin. Nevertheless, I may also consider using web3 casinos that have their native token that comes with special bonuses on the casino.
From the article, I guess the author is trying to make a difference between online faint casinos to cryptocurrency casinos, and also trying to make a difference in the gaming experience in the web3 new era experience.
6369  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can you trust a gambler with your money/savings? on: June 24, 2022, 08:07:56 AM
Actually no because again it is gambling and if you don't have a skill and knowledge how gambling works it is a huge problem too because there's a possible that the player who play your money makes a lot of reason that your funds is lose, also we know that gambling is all about luck and skills if you got a wrong timing there's a chance you might lose your savings, instead use the money for better investment than trying to play to a full risk game.
Exactly what happened with the ops story, the gambler who gambled his friends investment away gave a funny reason of having a health challenge, i will attributes gambling to high risk  activities and should be done only for fun. not a means to making quick money since gambling is associated with alot of negative outcome such as addiction, so is better to gamble with just spare money and with moderation.
6370  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can you trust a gambler with your money/savings? on: June 24, 2022, 06:18:50 AM
The friend is not just a gambler but addict and also a liar too, because when the friend noticed the decline in the remittance of sales he attributed it to health challenges just to get the friend's sympathy. So yes i can trust a gambler with my money. but that is if the gambler act responsibly and discipline, there is nothing wrong with gambling and i can freely do business with a gambler but that is if the individual is not an addict that does not have control over their gambling behavior.
6371  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Grocery Stores In U.S Set To Install Bitcoin ATM on: June 23, 2022, 09:31:12 PM
I have been an advocate of Bitcoin ATMs over time but the major recent challenges in using Bitcoin ATMs are the fees charged on transactions and the need for identity verification before usage. This has been a major setback for most Bitcoin enthusiast who does not find it appealing to use Bitcoin ATMs under those conditions.
6372  Economy / Gambling / Re: ($10 FREE BET) 8bethub - Innovative, enhanced and fair Dice gambling experience on: June 23, 2022, 09:19:10 PM

    you dont withdraw instant?
I think from what is on the site the withdrawal should be instantly, although not mentioned on the site there are instant deposit features on the casino. I wish the casino success in the industry and looking forward to seeing when they will purchase copper members to be able to see more graphics promotional content from them, the site graphics os not that bad but again there is a great need for improvement, and hope the casino does not request kyc from it members.
6373  Economy / Gambling / Re: KYC casino or no-KYC casino, but with no bonuses/no cashback? on: June 23, 2022, 07:19:53 PM
First option, provided that their KYC isn't as invasive and isn't as extensive as those platforms who thinks that every penny coming in to their place is dirty money. More value for my money means a lot more I can do with it and the longer play time that I have in the platform. Also, I need this platform to be as trustworthy as possible, because even active email address are being sold in the dark web for some money, which is the reason why a lot of us here receive spam emails that contain phishing links and other such malware that could infect our pc.
Exactly through kyc, our identity can be sold out such as email and even phone number, this has been the major reason why most gamblers prefer a non-KYC platform. But that is by the way another player.do not mind about they identity will prefer to go for the bonuses since it will allow them the chance to make more winning from their bonus balance.
6374  Economy / Gambling / Re: KYC casino or no-KYC casino, but with no bonuses/no cashback? on: June 23, 2022, 02:10:07 PM
I will rather go for non-KYC and no bonuses, instead of optioning in for KYC, as long as the casino does not come up with though requirements for non-KYC players. Aside from that am not free with letting my information to a third party so I will remain with the casino that will not demand any form of verification no matter the amount of deposit or withdrawal.
    6375  Economy / Gambling / Re: 7Slotz.io - Fair Crypto Casino on: June 23, 2022, 01:10:21 PM
Not to mention much, I have seen where things went very well on demo accounts but the real experience will say otherwise. As funny as it may sound, it's real. The only genuine thing about the demo version is that it helps gamblers to familiarise with the site condition and functionality.  Though it's a great feature needed in every casino to help newbies familiarise with the site.

The issue of signature campaign is necessary to enhance publicity for any start up in the company. If they actually have fund for it, they will have to consider it
Anyways what you said is possible some casino demos may outrightly outplay the real version, but then not every casino has the patients to run the demo version on the casino. But again the platform is faced with some bugs that need to be fixed but from their bonus system it looks good, at least one can use the bonus to try out the site, on the issue of signatures and campaign may be in the future the team may consider a signature as part of their marketing strategy, but until then let us concentrate more on the functionality of the casino.
    6376  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🔹1win.pro 🔹| iGaming Platform | Crypto&Fiat | Bonus +500% To the first deposit on: June 23, 2022, 10:45:08 AM
Sad to hear that they only used that promotional offer just to lure players or forum members to create an account then disable so they need nothing to bring for those accounts?
its good that i did not give attention to this thread and OP from the beginning because I am tired of new site advertising here but eventually will gone and never give any update and others end up becoming scammers even when they are just starting/
We have seen a good number of new casinos coming up but in no distance time their become inactive or scammers, I will always advise one to do enough due diligence before making an account in a new casino at list give some time to review the site and follow up to see how active they are both on this forum and their support features on the site. From the look of things, this team is inactive but their platform looks great and seems to have some good games.

6378  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Government Owned Online Casinos What Do You Think Of Its Potential on: June 22, 2022, 08:51:45 PM
Government is only after regulations and revenue generation, if the government decided to own casino houses that may produce some confidence in the players and reputation may be high, but then the management may be poor if stringing rules and regulations are not in place to guide the operation of the casino. Covid-19 has made online casinos the next best option and the government will also want to take advantage of that too but then the well-being of their citizens should also be considered, in other to avoid getting a population of gambling addicts a mechanism should be put in place to check the gambling behavior of the citizens since the casino will be legal across the country.
6379  Economy / Gambling / Re: Which crypto sportbooks are VPN friendly on: June 22, 2022, 08:31:42 PM
With what I have noticed, you can access most casinos with VPN, I have accessed https://livecasino.io, Stake and many other casinos with VPN and it works, but if I use it with USA address, it will not be successful in all the gambling sites I have used it, including bet365. This has been what I just noticed, I use service provider IP address frequently for accessing gambling sites and I will not advise you to use VPN either.
I will not advise you to keep using a VPN even if the site supports the use of vpn, because most of the casinos do not like that practice they may look as if they support it but when there is any problem with your account and you need to undergo some verification that may present you with though situation decisions. Take citizens of the US for example most casinos place restrictions on that location, and anyone from that region uses VPN to bypass that restriction to play on the casino and run into problems that require verification with Id this can lead to a loss of accounts forever because of verification. This is why I discourage the use of VPNs.
    6380  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🦉 Owl.games 🦉 Web 3.0 Crypto Casino & Sportsbook - BTC-Metamask-Walletconnect on: June 22, 2022, 06:42:54 PM
Hello everyone, we have been reading your comments and feedback regarding the bounty campaign.

During the Bounty Campaign distribution period, Owl.Games security team detected people abusing this campaign by using multiple accounts to join. This is a clear violation of the terms and conditions and because of this incident, we've taken the tough decision of temporarily pausing our bitcoin talk campaigns while we evaluate our marketing strategies here.

All honest participants who have diligently completed all bounty tasks are to be thanked, as well as Sujon, who has been a very responsible campaign manager. More than 90% of bounty rewards have been sent out so far. And our security department will keep working and prevent any account violating our terms and conditions from claiming any rewards.

We love the Bicointalk community! Hope we can relaunch something more unique again!
This is a commendable move from the Owl team and also having a time to time evaluation is also a good marketing strategy, seeing the owl token market price is also a pointer to how strong the team is working on improving the network.
Hope to see you getting better in the future i advise you to pay more attention on building the token network and how to generate players to the casino using the token.
