6361  Other / Meta / Re: Vod is abusing his merit source position to give 50 merit to his supporters on: May 14, 2019, 08:34:44 PM
If Vod would give 1 merit instead of 50 to people who support him, would it be OK? Smiley
What a shitstorm in recent days on Bitcointalk... Maybe some people involved need to take a short break and come back to forum with cool heads after few days. Just my 2 cents Satoshies
6362  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: What are faucets missing? on: May 14, 2019, 08:00:17 PM
There is something about faucets I really want to know: Why do faucet owners use Google Recaptcha to make verification. I think this Google captcha is the worst ever.
It works fine at the beginning but the longer you use it, the worse it gets (images getting blurry and grainy).
So in my opinion Google recaptcha is not adequate to be used in faucets. Don't faucet owners know that or are they too lazy to look for other solutions? Or is Google Recaptcha free and the other solutions are not? Or does Google even pay the owners to use their recaptcha?

I'm not faucet owner, but I can try to give you answer. Most of faucet owners using Reacaptcha because it gives best security and there is simply no good alternatives for it. I agree that this captcha is difficult and annoying, but there is not much what faucet owners can do to change it. As I know, other captchas like Solvemedia can be bypassed too easily. Google Recaptcha aren't paying to publishers, but other captcha like Solvemedia are paying. But these payments are so tiny and insignificant that probably many of faucet owners can't even reach payment treshold. Correct me if I said something wrong.
6363  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Three of your favorite bookie/betting info sites? on: May 14, 2019, 07:49:32 PM
Are you talking tipsters websites? If yes, I don't use any of them. I bet on sports just for fun, so I don't really need to use such websites. Only sometimes I visit one website of local tipsters community. But I'm not going to mention it's name because this website isn't in English.
If you're talking about odds comparison website, Flashscore is good enough for me. I just need to open event and then I see odds listed of all most popular sportsbooks, you only need to choose best odds from the list.
There is also thread on Bitcointalk where margins of crypto sportsbooks are compared, you can take a look:

6364  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2019 NBA Playoffs Prediction Pool(REGISTRATION CLOSED) on: May 14, 2019, 07:36:50 PM
Let me guess, you are backing the Raptors against the Bucks series, right?
Yeah. I'm not a big fan of them, but I would like to see them in the Finals this year. Kawhi probably is going to leave Raptors after this season and this team will have to create new long term project. Probably it's last chance for Raptors to go so far in playoffs in few upcoming years.
6365  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: What are faucets missing? on: May 13, 2019, 09:31:15 PM
Honestly, I don't know. Now I'm kind a bored with faucets. I miss old good times of faucets when you only needed to solve captcha and click "get reward" button. I know that such simple and clean faucets are impossible nowadays, but I just shared my nostalgia. Now there is just too much hassle to claim from faucets - close all these popups, visit shortlinks and etc.
Now in faucets I like things like loyalty bonuses, lotteries and similar things. Things like own tokens of faucets also looks interesting, Coinpot tokens probably is best example of it.
6366  Other / Meta / Re: Just another case of BAN . Help @hilariousandco @theymos on: May 13, 2019, 09:19:35 PM
I'm sorry to hear that you got banned, because you're great member of our community. But this ban shows that forum rules are equal for everyone. You're not random spammer who copied content in order just to farm signature campaigns. Maybe theymos will consider to unban you and give signature ban after seing your contribution.
But there is one thing that I don't like - it's digging very deep in old posts in order just to ban someone. And now matter that user did that mistake only once, then changed his bejaviour and become good member of community. It's looking for skeleton in the cupboard. Maybe these things are done using bot as said above, but it doesn't change my opinion.
6367  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2019 NBA Playoffs Prediction Pool(REGISTRATION CLOSED) on: May 13, 2019, 09:13:49 PM
Well, so far NBA playoffs are great to watch. I lost count how many times I watched replay of that crazy game winning buzzer-beater of Leonard.
And I'm a bit surprised that I'm running well in this pool. Only Celtics loss was big disappointment for me.
I have sent Conference Finals predictions.
6368  Other / Meta / Re: New Yobit spam is coming to town, beware on: May 13, 2019, 07:21:55 PM
I'm pretty sure this means someone hired 3 times 30 user spam-packages, and YoBit is probably the only party that has an interest in doing so.
Unfortunately it's impossible to find out who did it, any legit company shouldn't hire spam bots for "marketing".
Actually, it's not first time when Yobit got involved in similar activities. In past Yobit used ANN bumping services to bump their official thread. You can see it on last pages of thread:
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=914975.4220
It's been cleaned a bit, but you can get image from posts there. This is main reason why their thread got locked. I'm not sure why they can't promote their service in a right way.
How about ALL noob & waking up accounts having to do a captcha on login &/or when posting until X amount of posts are reached - wouldn't that get rid of the spambots?
Captcha for Newbie accounts been propposed many times in past, but theymos probably have his own reasons why he rejected this idea.
6369  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: [Unofficial] Coinpot.co - new microwallet on: May 12, 2019, 09:18:20 PM
I don't know but all this coinpot problem seems to be related to the rise of the bitcoin price. It looks like they're trying to prevent that people claim too much tokens. I wonder what would happen to faucets in case bitcoin should rise to 50k or 100k usd.

I think also that during bitcoin rise, each time, more and more users are ready to "earn" more bitcoin.
This can explain the lag of these days. Otherwise even if price will reach 50/100k USD faucet should pay accordingly (introducing fraction of satoshi or another point system)
I don't think rising Bitcoin price and lag of Coinpot are related. These problems with Coinpot started some time before Bitcoin started to rise. And I don't see why they would need to prevent users from claiming. If Bitcoin price increase, faucets just reduce rewards in Satoshi. BTC/USD exchange rate always had direct influence to rewards on faucet websites like Moon Bitcoin, Freebitco.in and all others.
But it's strange that Coinpot can't solve these issues for so long and they haven't posted any information about it.
6370  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: home.honestiptv.com | The Best Reviews IPTV Service 2019 | Honestiptv | IPTV Sub on: May 12, 2019, 09:10:49 PM
If you don't accept BTC, then I'm not sure why you're advertising your services here.
€15 for month isn't cheap and it would be risky to buy subscription from new unknown service without any reviews.
Maybe you can give free test to be sure that your service works. I would be interested to see list of channels and how stable it works.
And I agree with doubts above. It's very common to see IPTV sellers coming with new account and not very professional made website.
6371  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2016/17 on: May 12, 2019, 08:40:48 PM
Feel kinda sad that Getafe, after such an amazing season, could actually finish out of the top 4. But there's still hope, they need to win vs Villareal, and Valencia needs to drop points against Valladolid.

Villareal, Valladolid, and Levante, are safe from relegation. Girona and Celta will be the ones fighting to not get relagated next week. The latter only needs a draw.

About RM, yet another pathetic performance from Isco and Marcelo, if these two don't leave the team this summer, I'm gonna lose faith in the next project. 11 defeats this season, close to our record of most league defeats which is 13  Lips sealed
Well, everything is still possible for Getafe, but now not everything in their hands. Valladolid secured their spot in La Liga, so I think it's less likely that Valencia will drop points against them. Even Sevilla still have tiny chances for 4th place, but they need losses of Getafe and Valencia and win against Athletic. It will be interesting to follow action in last round.
And I would like to see Celta staying in La Liga, only for Iago Aspas. Meanwhile Girona playing so shitty in second part of season that they deserved to relegate.
About Real match, I only saw small parts of it on simulcast, but looking at stats it looks that Sociedad just dominated today. It's really strange to see Real loosing so many times in La Liga. And I read that Zidane would like to see Isco staying in Madrid, same about Marcelo...
6372  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cloudbet's English Premier League Football Pool Discussion Thread on: May 12, 2019, 05:15:40 PM
What I can say, it's incredible that 97 points isn't enough to win EPL trophy. I hardly can remember something similar in top football leagues.
Congrats to LFC_Bitcoin for winning this pool and panjul, oeleo, BitSat and Mattle40 for reaching top 5.
My 12th place is somewhat what I expected before season, because I'm not following EPL so closely as some other guys there. Actually, I gave up in the middle of season, because I saw that there is no chances to reach top 5 for me, so I started leaving predictions without thinking much about it.
Thank you hilariousandco for making this pool and Cloudbet for supporting it. It was really fun experience. Hope to see you guys next season.
6373  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2016/17 on: May 12, 2019, 03:08:22 PM
Barcelona will score many goals tonight as they’ll be hurting from the loss they suffered at the hands of Liverpool, Getafe are unlucky to play them this week. I think Sevilla will win their match against Atletico, as they have the desire and motivation to win and qualify for champions league. What do you’ll think of Valencia chances of qualifying for champions league, will they make it?
Valencia will play against weaker opponents in last two rounds than Getafe or Sevilla. But I doubt that they will qualify to Champions league. Getafe still have 3 points lead. And I think they most deserved it with theirvperformance through the whole season.
6374  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2016/17 on: May 12, 2019, 12:16:20 PM
Today there are some interesting matches in La Liga.
Barcelona - Getafe. It's very important game for Getafe in fight for Champions league spot. Meanwhile Barca are fighting for mothing. But it's interesting how they will react after failure in Champions league and will they find motivation to fight today.
Atletico - Sevilla. Recent results of Sevilla aren't good, but they still have good chances to reach Champions league. Atletico now also don't have many reasons to fight full power.
6375  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2018-2019 on: May 11, 2019, 11:00:06 PM
Not taking anything away from Spurs but it would be a shame if LFC don't win it after that emphatic comeback. Either way, it's going to be an entertaining match.
But one the other hand Spurs also made emphatic comeback, which isn't less impressive than win of Liverpool. Offcourse, Liverpool are favorites to lift trophy on the paper, but after crazy things that we saw in semifinals I just don't see any resons to give initial predictions or favor one of teams.
6376  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: Update your Electrum to the latest 3.3.5 version on: May 11, 2019, 10:53:31 PM
When it comes to crypto, I'm trying not to rush with software updates. I think it would be better to wait few days after release of update to be sure that there are no vulnerabilities and big bugs in newest version. Until then it's nothing wrong to use old version of software.

^  You don't remember our new side bet?  I did the bet again that RBR will end up having more points than Ferrari this year.  You took it:  https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1393430.msg50323596#msg50323596

Let's give it a couple more races and I pay you.  Lol.
Oh, I remember it, but there was only few races so far, let's wait until the end of the season Cheesy

I know I owe LTU_btc some for an F1 side bet and I feel I'm gonna owe Trofo some this Sunday.
As I remember, you don't owe me nothing lol Cheesy. Because I was wrong that Ricciardo will have more points than Verstappen and you've been wrong that Red Bull will have more points than Ferrari Cheesy
6379  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Europa League 2018-2019 on: May 09, 2019, 10:25:56 PM
Chelsea vs Eintracht - what a great game whit penalty shootout! So, we will have English final both in Champions and Europa league.
Chelsea vs Arsenal. Legend of Chelsea Petr Cech against his fomer team in last his game in glorious career. I would like to see him lifting this trophy - it's a best way to say goodbye.
6380  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Thanks to signature campaign that pays BTC! on: May 09, 2019, 09:39:55 PM
Personally, I get enough money from my regular job, so I don't have to use my earnings from signature campaigns for urgent needs. I just hold biggest part of my earnings. But when I was unemployed, BTC from signature campaign (and other sources) was really helpful. Unless you live in poor country, it's impossible to earn for a living just from signature campaigns, but it's great to have extra source of income, even if it's not that big. Especially if your  regular job aren't paying that good. It can help in such urgent cases like described in OP. Or you can save it for big purchase or holiday trip for example. There is unlimited ways to spend earned money lol Cheesy
