Lightlord said that there would be a 10% bonus, but that didn't mean that I'd be able to start paying people for the 5-10 posts they made in each period (where there were requirements, regardless of delay or not).

Edit; You had 0 eligible posts in the first 2 week period, in the 2nd period I added 4 days to the two weeks and there you had 25 posts. I can't pay for those posts. I'm sorry!
Well, that's your choice also, and I respect your decision. You are a good campaign manager. I hope you just understand why I'm trying to clear things up.

As for the incorrect payment from our last payment, was it discussed with lightlord?

I counted those posts and there was nothing that was incorrect. There was also no 10% bonus at that time, I counted and calculated three times without finding any errors so the errors must have been made by you guys when you said you were paid less than you should.
It's hard to recheck because I'm just basing on the last document by Lutpin. The current round tab. This is the last transaction ID made by Lutpin 8b8e84e8395dfe83e834a5237a26849a44319e61a1d7f12b6298c1ac6881e11b. And the document is linked here We have been paid less or I guess I'm looking at the not updated spreadsheet? At least we hope we could see it being counted.

Here's a spreadsheet that me and Lutpin made: Spreadsheet

Lutpin also made a post in this thread where he sent the payment.
Maybe I missed that posted spreadsheet or you didn't show us?

In that spreadsheet, the counting rate of my posts is out of whack. From the counting of round 83 it's okay, then typo of 2772 to 2897. Ok I understand, maybe fingers pressed the wrong key. lol. Again from 2897 to 2982. Still okay, just typo. Okay probably from 2982 - 3005 then 3007 (4007) to should be 4042 (but 5467). Then just a lot of denied post.

Now it's clearer. I just want to make sure. I didn't believe it until I saw it.

I've paid the missing 4 weeks (There were a few days that we wouldn't count before the new campaign started but there were barely any posts made in that period).

Round87+Round88.
Hello Hhampuz. Why wasn’t i paid here?

You didn't meet the requirements in either period. Since this was a bi-weekly campaign you needed 30 posts per two weeks.

Shouldn’t there be any consideration with the waiting time or at least considered it whole? After all it became like a month. As per lightlord said

Campaigns were mostly on a monthly schedule anyways, so the delays aren't too large.
You will all be eligible for a 10% Bonus Payment.

Hopefully it would be considered.

6368  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does hard work in gambling count? on: January 02, 2019, 10:28:50 AM
It depends on person to person because in this gambling game your hard earned money can loss or gone in just a minutes or an hour, thus hard work cannot be a solution to earn on it. Smart playing and having a very well discipline to oneself will help any gambler to make their playing count.
That's why it does not require any hard work anymore, being smart is very important and in just a short period of time,
it's possible that you can make yourself rich in gambling.
Becoming rich in just a short period of time through gambling is quiet too good to be true because i believe that in gambling, you will always lose the money compare to the chance that you can earn. Gambling is base on luck, its hard to be complacent on that, hard work is not important in gambling but you should be wiser.
That's what everyone wants, the quick and easy stuff. Our generation now validates the quick and fast gratification which becomes detrimental to decisions. I think everyone has their own experience with wanting something automatically and right then and there: no waiting, no patience. It's hard for people to continue like that in the long run. I have noticed that I'm like that too, thinking I could do it, but it just made my situation worse.

Gambling is not healthy when you depend on it, and I suggest everyone to just take it as entertainment. As it always should be.
6369  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What Triggers Gambling Addiction on: January 02, 2019, 08:42:53 AM
They actually did a interesting study on this a few years ago.

You are more likely to get addicted to gambling when you realize a big win early in your gambling days. This is what generally gives you false hope and you always think you can win again and you become addicted.

Most think that getting addicted is when you get a big win, however its not always the case. Some with big wins usually suffered many loses in their early gambling days that they just take their winnings and quit. However for those that were winners early in their career they usually bet more later on to "break-even" and suffer huge losses which leads to addiction.
Do you have that study by any chance? I'm interested in checking what the objectives and significance of the study are because I might get something there, for research. I think people who are addicted just need to know what to do when gambling, like having a plan or usually acceptance is a great thing.

Anyway, having false hope is just lying to your face. I just thought of hope, is hope always false until it comes true?
6370  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Floyd Mayweather set for New Year's Eve fight in Japan on: January 02, 2019, 05:23:24 AM
Why is everyone angry when Floyd won the fight? You have an experienced 40 year old, 50 - 0, best pound for pound boxer versus a young kickboxer fighting in boxing rules. How was this fight supposed to end?

Not angry but a bit disgusted. We all know that Floyd said he is the GOAT, but how come you became one of the greatest if you keeps on fighting for the money? And I think you know that there are predominantly Pacquaio fans around the community and they wanted to see Floyd lost and take away that 0. lol.

Definitely an easy match. Not even finishing round one, that's just finishing easily. The main event that just is for money. I think both parties are happy because of the payout. When Floyd is involved, it's all about the money, nothing else. We all know how great at boxing he is and making sure that events he does are a big payout.

Anybody bet on the underdog? I'm wondering if they think that the underdog can win.

~ snip ~
It's incredible how much money could be brought in by an event that has so much friction. I might as well want to start a business that holds over events but I think it's hard and a lot of work.

Five million fine is a lot. Damn. I hope that his instincts would be to stop kicking and it would be hard. It would be like McGregor not hammer fisting Floyd in the head. But it still happened anyway. Even all the training, it's just different when you are already in the ring.

That $5 million fine for me looks like another way to really put all the advantage on Mayweather as what we witnessed in the fight. I feel compassion for those who really bought the ticket because the fight is really a circus act even before the bell rings. Might be the easiest win and money for Floyd Mayweather. He really played everyone here because it was reported that he arrived late. I mean, WTF? If this is a serious fight then I'm sure he won't be late. It's just like "whatever, I can go anytime I want because I'm going to beat that kid anyways". In contrast, Nasukawa’s team hid his face going back to the dressing room, he was sobbing because of the embarrassment. We all know that Japanese fighters takes pride in every fight but I guess he was really caught by this big event.
It is another added advantage. Maybe in the mind of Floyd's opponent is not so focused since he knows how to fight differently. I think everyone knows how different their tiers are, especially if it's for boxing. Well, they have contracts signed, so it's all about money.
6371  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambler was being robbed on: January 02, 2019, 01:02:50 AM
Why do casinos give such large winnings in cash?
There should really be an option to have that sort of money deposited straight to your bank account.

I imagine it could happen in my country (Belgium) as well, but not nearly as often though.
It's generally pretty safe here, aside from petty crime.

I think there was such an option, but probably the guy had chosen to not do it. It maybe has something to do with taxes. If you win $75,000 you have to pay taxes on that, right? And maybe the guy in question wanted to evade it. Don't be penny wise and pound foolish, as a proverb says. Another option, he was drunk and wasn't aware much of what he was doing. Don't drink and gamble, guys, because it's bad for your health and can be bad for your wealth as well. Be safe!
Knowing Philippines which they do really questioned out if theres something big amounts being credited on your bank account and that where 12% will be charged up incase. So, im aint surprised why
that dude opt out to get cash instead on direct bank transfer but well getting robbed is on exchange. We wont know if this is an inside job nor there are really people who
are targeting people who do make big winnings and wait for them outside.
Having 12% gotten from your winnings would be really hard and it would be a lot. There is a possibility where there are people who have already targeted the person. Knowing that he won a damn lot of money. You wouldn't really have a say unless you know the story. Big winnings are real magnets for disaster, that's for sure.
6372  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What Triggers Gambling Addiction on: January 02, 2019, 12:24:12 AM
Maybe the winnings that people have experienced is not enough to cover what they have lost in the past. It may not always be the case but that's just what they feel, that's what I think. Addicted people tend to forget what they need to do and keeps on insisting themselves that they could still do it, no matter the consequences. They cannot control themselves because they are already addicted, countermeasures with that would really be hard for those kinds of people. What they need is people backing them up and helping them recover.

For the win rate, it just depends on the chance that you are playing. For example, a 95% win rate would give more strong win rates compared to 70%. I guess having a few bets would suffice the normal/average person, whether the person wins or not.

Tuloy tuloy.

Na nag auto translate or something?

I'll take care of that today or tomorrow, sorry that it has taken so long I was just waiting for some more details regarding it. However there's not a lot that has to be paid out as there were probably 3-4 people that met requirements. Will update the respective threads once done!
Thanks for your confirmation about it. No need to be sorry. At least there would be a lot of BTC left to pay out the remaining rounds in the future. At least I already know what's going on. Looking forward to it. And I hope you have changed the payment address with mine too. Thanks.
6377  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: For those thinking some bets are safe, read this on: December 31, 2018, 12:49:41 PM
Gambling and betting is itself a risky venture so every gambler know this fact that there is nothing called safe bet. There is low risk bets where gamblers can limit their losses. For you example, the odds were 1000/1 which can be easily lowered and made this bet a low risk one. In gambling, nothing is really safe and that's the reason why gambling should never be considered as a method of making money.
The risk that gamblers make should be accepted in their mind and emotions. I agree that there is nothing called as a safe bet or anything sure. If someone offers you something like a promise to have a profit in the short term, it's definitely a scam. There's nothing safe if you want to profit. I think everyone should follow what you're saying. Low-risk bets are definitely okay, and you will still earn in the long run.

Siguro ang pareparehas lang naman sa mga sinasabi is yung parang concept, unless pure copy and paste siya which is not the ideal thing to do, siyempre it's basically plagiarism and taking out of the effort of others as your own. I think everyone should learn how to prevent copy and pasting.

Hindi lang naman sa BTCT kailangan iwasan ang copy paste, pati sa mga assignments, projects, thesis articles, kasi yun na nga, kung hindi naman sayo yung idea or article, it's not yours to post unless you have permission from them.

6380  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: A cryptocurrency entirely dedicated to GAMBLING? on: December 31, 2018, 10:05:17 AM
I thought we have already have Bitcoin and alt coin for that
Practically the best post here. Lol.

My thoughts with this are that why would you have another currency. Chips like in the casinos are just 1:1 depending on the value per chip, so it's just a representation of your money on the table. I agree that Bitcoin somewhat serves that in the cryptocurrency casinos.
