6381  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do some gamblers actually win? on: April 15, 2020, 10:30:56 AM
Just like trading, most people lose because they don't understand what they are getting into. They don't understand odds and risk management, they don't understand that the odds are likely to be against them.
This is one of the reason why people are losing but for me this isn't the main reason.

For me, people are losing because of their own attitudes. Most of the gamblers who are winning often becoming more greedy since they see that they can win more if they continue. They don't know that this is a trap for them. The problem for most of the gamblers is that, they don't have any plans if they are either winning or losing. If they win, they will still continue to gamble until they lose all of their money and if they lose some of them are going back to get their losses which is a wrong idea.

However, just because most lose, doesn't mean it can't be profitable. You just need to be aware that more likely than not, you're going to lose more than you win, or possibly even bankrupt yourself.
Gambling is a game of luck. All of the gamblers who got the jackpot are just lucky. Most of the people are losing in gambling but it can be profitable too as long as you have plans as you gamble. In the end, if you aren't lucky then you will not gain any money Cheesy.
6382  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Casino workers, asking for salary during the shutdown on: April 15, 2020, 10:19:29 AM
I can't blame the casino owners if they aren't giving financial assistance to their employees now that the crisis has struck us.

The owners must have the responsibility to give some assistance to their employees if they know how they'd helped them to make the business a success but some are just... I don't know what term will I use but they don't want to give some assistance to them.

As for the employees, whatever happens they must have always a savings account while the are working so that if times like this will happen then they have the funds to use in the middle of the crisis. This is the problem for most of the employees. They don't know how to save. They are using their money into different expenses and some are just wasting their salary.

Either way, I'm still happy that some of the employers not only in the gambling industry but in the different companies are helping their employees. They know how to help those people who helped them in their business.
6383  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Ixinium bounty participants? on: April 15, 2020, 09:55:24 AM
I have seen this bounty in 2019, it is managed by AdsistMediaBounty and it's a scam project. If their project is now listed at the exchange, I believe its price has collapsed many times compared to the original price.
For me, I can say that a project is a scam if they went into a token sale and after collecting some funds they just vanished out of nowhere with the funds they've collected. That is a definition of a scam project for me.

With this, if they really paid the participants but now there is no development of the project or anything and it is just listed on a shitty exchange they I can say that it is already a dead coin since the devs didn't continue what is on their roadmap. A dead coin normally just listed on an exchange so that developers and some of the investors can dump the tokens and just leave it there. These has been done with many projects already. Listing on an exchange then vanished.
6384  Other / Off-topic / Re: Paying whatever you can salvage to blow my head off cause life's a bitch. on: April 15, 2020, 09:06:24 AM
I think the users here helped you calm down with what you are experiencing right now. The thread you've created helped you a lot right now.

You might get depressed by some things but all are experiencing that. Its just how can you handle the problems. Problems are everywhere so you must know how to make a solution with it and suicide isn't one of them. The best thing that you can do right now is to seek a mental expert because suffering from depression isn't a joke and this can you lead to suicide.

Anyway you said that you are a bit ok right now. Just continue to be ok and don't do anything bad for you. Live life to the fullest and be happy.
6385  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What will the gambling addicts do now that the casinos have closed? on: April 13, 2020, 12:03:36 PM
Here in India, some of the casinos are operating illegally (first of all, casinos are banned everywhere in India, except a few rare exceptions such as Goa. So even before the COVID 19 epidemic, they were operating without a license). The cops have raided a couple of such illegal casinos and arrested dozens of people who were indulging in gambling. I guess hardcore gamblers are taking this risky step, as they don't find online gambling exciting enough.
I guess they can't wait for the lockdown to be over so they've taken the risk already and still gamble on the casinos who are operating right now even though it is illegal already.

This shows just how addiction in gambling can do. There are some reasons why they are doing this. One is that they want to be enjoyed and to have some entertainment as they are always gamble, their mind has been set to a mindset that they must gamble whatever happens to complete their day. Another is that probably some of them see gambling as a way to get profits to buy anything they need so they took the risk and went there even though social distancing is imposed. Another is that they don't see online gambling that enjoyable so they choose to go to a casino and since they are addicted into it already, they can risk anything just to gamble.
6386  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Right time for gambling addicts to come out of addiction? on: April 13, 2020, 11:33:58 AM
This time can be the right time for the gambling addicts to come out of their addiction and stop gambling for the rest of their life.

However, it will still depend on the gambler if they want to stop it or not. An addicted gambler will not stop gambling immediately and it will take time to do it. One more is that what if the gambler doesn't want to stop. Even though there is crisis going on, gamblers can still gamble in their home thru online gambling so they can still gamble so probably for some yes this maybe the right time but for some addicted ones maybe this isn't the right time for them. I doubt too that most of the addicted gamblers will stop gambling if they see that they are enjoying doing it.
6387  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Best time to begin your gambling affiliate journey. on: April 13, 2020, 11:30:55 AM
No change at all in my opinion.

Even though people are spending many time in the internet, it is not the basis if you will be a successful one in affiliate. Even though how much you advertise your affiliate link and the company to different social media platforms if they aren't interested on it then it will be useless.

I have a bad experience regarding affiliate. I have joined a networking company for the first time about 3 years ago for the first time and I learned many things on how to invite people to join. To cut the story short, I didn't attract any person and didn't get any affiliates. Maybe there is a problem on my side but I believe that the people aren't that interested on it already so I stopped it.

Getting profits thru affiliate isn't that easy. If you are a good sales talker and you can easily attract people then it is good but aside from that, you will fail from it.
6388  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Demand for Bitcoin online courses explodes by 300% on: April 13, 2020, 09:40:17 AM
I see 2 reasons with why the demand increased.
1. Boredom - they want to spend their time since most of the countries right are in a lockdown and they can't go out to their houses so they want to spend their time and they want to read online courses regarding Bitcoin.
2. Curiosity - since most of the people have so much time browsing the internet, they might see the word Bitcoin or anything related to it as they are browsing and they've decided to make some research of it and aside from that they also purchased Bitcoin online courses.

This can help also the spread of information regarding Bitcoin and crypto in general as more and more people want to learn about it. This can be a great sign for crypto world. Maybe this can help too in its price since some if not all of them will try to invest on it since they are already interested.
6389  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: This is why bitcoin is unique. on: April 13, 2020, 09:35:47 AM
~
Which bank will allow you to do as well?
That is why bitcoin is a great creation.
~
This is why some of the rich people are supporting Bitcoin because you can transfer huge amounts of money with only a small amount of fee and without sharing their personal information.

Bitcoin and banks are unique in their own way for me. We know already that banks are the ones who is being used by most of the people worldwide since not that many are using crypto. Either way, this will not help in advertising crypto or attract people to use crypto instead of banks because they don't know how to do it and they are more convenient if they will just transfer their money thru banks instead of crypto but time will come that more and more people will be using crypto to transfer money to other people.
6390  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Anyone here dream of achieving their financial goal in life through gambling? on: April 12, 2020, 10:05:17 AM
Anybody can dream. Anybody can think that they can be rich with the help of gambling.

But the reality is, gambling can't give what you are thinking. A dream of achieving financial goal thru gambling will always just a dream. We already know the reasons why this is almost impossible to happen. I'm not saying that this will not happen to anybody but only few people worldwide have changed their whole life with the help of gambling.

For the gamblers out there, don't think like this that your life will change with the help of gambling. Don't expect that gambling will give you financial freedom because gambling can't give it to you.
6391  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Casino workers, asking for salary during the shutdown on: April 12, 2020, 09:47:30 AM
Financial management.

This is the problem for the workers. They don't have any savings that can be used in times like this. They are either complacent enough and didn't thought about the savings or emergency funds or its just they don't know how to save money.

TBH, most of the people here in my country doesn't have any savings account or even just emergency funds. This just shows that they are not ready if a crisis like this will happen. Right now people who doesn't have any savings or emergency funds are the ones who are experiencing some difficulties right now. A work at home too will be important right now because even though you aren't working in the company, you can still earn because there are many jobs online already.
6392  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: BOUNTY TASKS ARE VERY DEMANDING on: April 12, 2020, 09:40:23 AM
For example, in his rules, he demands signature campaigners to make a minimum of 15post per week and a maximum of 3 post count per week, a good bitcointalker should be through with his post in 5 days at 3 per day, although if mode deletes one post at a dead hour without one been aware, one will loss reward for that week.
If you aren't aware in bounty campaigns, there are stupid bounty hunters who are burstposting. There are some hunters who can finish 15 posts in just one hours if they want to finish it since they aren't that strict enough. A strict campaign manager = a good campaign manager in my opinion. Right now, there are many burstposters signature campaign participants because they are using many alt accounts just to have a higher profit.

It also said "MINIMUM of 15 posts per week" so if you are aware of deletion of your posts then at least make at least 20-23 posts per week so you can meet the requirements and even though there is a deletion in your post it will not go below minimum.

And his social media campaigns like the Linkedin is 6 post per week and a maximum of 1 share per day, one really need to on a high alert in other not to work for free.  Some of my friends had to back out because of the strict and tasky rules, while some will have to lost their reward due tasky work.
Social media campaigns can be made by a child or even though a person who isn't computer techy.
What I'm saying is it is very easy to finish so putting a daily limit will be better for the campaign.

Is this the reason why you are saying that the bounty tasks are very demanding?? Then don't join in his campaign Cheesy. Simple as that and tell to your friends that they and you also must stop bounty hunting already Wink
6393  Economy / Speculation / Re: Why bitcoin will never fall? on: April 12, 2020, 09:27:18 AM
Bitcoin is like a dollar, only in the cryptocurrency world, well, it is worth an order of magnitude higher)
Bitcoin is like dollar??? Then why did Satoshi spend countless hours creating Bitcoin if it will be the same as the dollar then?? Useless opinion of yours.
Any government can print dollar or any other currency that they have anytime they want so it is inflationary while in Bitcoin you can't change the total supply of it which is 21,000,000 so it is deflationary. This statement is enough already to differentiate the 2 currencies.

Overall, as long as there are people using Bitcoin it will never fall. See the altcoins who doesn't have any people that are using. They ended up being a dead or a scam coin. It will not happen to Bitcoin since it is the most used cryptocurrency in the world and most trusted. No way it will fall.
6394  Economy / Speculation / Re: Should I sell bitcoin now? on: April 12, 2020, 09:21:55 AM
If we say yes sell it now, are you willing to do it??
If we say don't sell it now and buy at this moment are you willing to do it??
If we say that don't sell or buy either, are you willing to do it??

My point is that, why are you asking here where it is your own money that is at stake?? It is your own money and you must be the one to decide because we can't give any accurate answer to your question. Some might say here that you must sell it right now. Some saying you must hold it because it will go higher more. In the end it is your decision so don't ask things like this.
6395  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you have control or not? on: April 11, 2020, 01:45:11 PM
When I'm still gambling, I can control myself and I can gamble anytime I want.

I only gamble when there is an event in our country like Basketball games and that is around 3-4 times weekly and 1 bet per day. I only gamble for fun and enjoyment as I'm watching the game but most of the time, I end up losing all of my BTC (since I'm gambling online) until one time I realized that I must stop gambling already because I can't get any profit into it and I will just buy my money anything I want instead of betting it. I stopped already and I bought some of the things I want using BTC Cheesy.
6396  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: COVID-19: Avoid casino, play online on: April 11, 2020, 01:41:49 PM
zero infected countries ?  what countries was that .  i just check the site wordometer and i see that  Yemen and Saint Pierre & Miquelon  have the lowest cases  ( 1 ) but they have zero number of deaths   .

these affected persons can just quarantine themselves and people can live naturally but they should keep the coutnry on lockdown ( now visitors yet or won allow people to travel outside ) just to be safe    but there are people that already love to play online with or without epedimics like covid-19
Base on this article posted: LINK

The 18 countries without Covid-19

Comoros; Kiribati; Lesotho; Marshall Islands; Micronesia; Nauru; North Korea; Palau; Samoa; Sao Tome and Principe; Solomon Islands; South Sudan; Tajikistan; Tonga; Turkmenistan; Tuvalu; Vanuatu, Yemen
These are the countries who isn't affected by the virus as of April 3 since it is posted at that date. I'm not familiar with this countries except for North Korea which is I know the reason why they don't have any cases as of this moment. We know how their government works already so we know the reason why there are no cases at that country.

They will still be affected, they will fear to go out because it's possible that there are covid positive in the area, they did not only know it.
Due to this pandemic, the world is already in panic, even those countries which are not infected, they will try to prevent that they will not by making necessary measure, one measure which is to avoid going into crowded places.
I might disagree with your opinion a bit for this reason as it is also stated in the link I posted: LINK
Quote
But there are countries where the virus has not landed. Most are small islands with few visitors - in fact, seven of the world’s 10 least-visited places, as per UN data, are free of Covid-19.

That remoteness means one thing: in this age of social-distancing rules, island nations are the original self-isolators.
Maybe this is the reason why until now, there are no cases in their countries. The social distancing there is being observed in their countries and with the few visitors, the chances of getting the virus in their country is almost zero but they said that there is no reason for them to be complacent since this is a global pandemic, they are still possibilities that the virus will come to this countries.
6397  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Ways to recover from being addicted in gambling. on: April 11, 2020, 01:23:36 PM
No one should ever chase your lose as if you will chase your lose you will always remain worried about it you give will only get tension so just relax and try to reduce your timing for gambling. You should spare time for your family and playing other games. If you feel addiction then stop for while and play later with fresh mind but never spend more mondy just to recover your previous lose.
Just don't chase your losses no need to relax because if a gambler is chasing their money, there is no way for them to be relax especially when they are in under pressure unless they know how to calm themselves in situations like this.

Getting recovery after being addicted into gambling isn't that easy to do because you must change your mindset and reverse it from a person who always want to gamble to a person who will stop gambling. Stopping what you are doing for a long time already is very hard so it will take time to do this. Help from their family and experts is the best way to recover from gambling but they gambler himself must cooperate too and he must put his mind to a mindset that he will change himself or the process will be useless.
6398  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is gambling a threat or fun? on: April 11, 2020, 01:05:55 PM
Gambling can be threat or fun that it depends to a person if they will take gambling as a leisure time whenever they are just bored or they will take gambling to earn easy money by just playing. But mostly gambling is a threat because there are people who takes gambling seriously as a profit, not for entertainment that they always lead to greed and aggression in betting.
This is how most of the gamblers see gambling.

It will be a threat for most of the gamblers since they see gambling as a way to get profit and not to have some fun. They believe that they will get money in an easy way thru gambling so they are throwing their money and hoping that they will get profits which is a wrong idea for them.

Even those gamblers who are just gambling for entertainment are becoming greedy when they are winning consecutively and their reason of just to have some fun will be change to get some profit since they can become a greedy gambler when they feel that they can win on that day. Winning consecutive times can make them become greedy. If you want to just gamble for fun, spend a small amount and put a target price if you win and stop when you reached that limit already if you are lucky but if you lose learn how to stop and call it a day.
6399  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Will you gamble right after coronavirus outbreaks? on: April 11, 2020, 12:56:04 PM
After the outbreak, I don't think that the casinos will be open already.

Even though the outbreak is over already, there is still a possibility that the virus may affect some of the people so it will take weeks to months before they will be allowed to open again. Either way, I will not gamble since I'm not gambling anymore. I stopped it already because I always loss in my bets that I felt disappointed with myself.

I think that gamblers will not take the risk too of going outside after the outbreak because there is still a chance that the virus is there somewhere and it can multiply again as soon as it find its host.
6400  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does good side of gambling overcomes its negative side? on: April 11, 2020, 08:34:20 AM
It made me realize, do positive things will let you stay from gambling?
Nope.

There is no way that the positive will overcome the negative effects of gambling in ones self. If you will ask a gambler which part is he feeling right now, he will choose the negative because money is important to them. Very important that they will do everything no matter what happened especially the addicted ones. Positive effects of gambling can be obtained in some ways and not only gambling so why risk a huge amount of money just to get this things.

The last part of the Positive effects which is "Source of Income". Do you think that gambling can be a source of income? Cite examples of gamblers here who are taking gambling as their source of income. I doubt that there are no gamblers who see gambling like this because it is very risky and you need to have a huge capital to do this.
