6381  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cryptocurrency Online Casinos on: November 08, 2020, 04:59:06 AM
In my opinion, if a casino should exist, then it should be anonymous and use cryptocurrency. Regular casinos require too much data about a person, which alienates many users.
You need to categorize casinos. Real-life casinos that are operating locally have the right not to use cryptocurrency.

They have been existing even before cryptocurrencies come.

Describing the crypto casinos, most of them are operating with license, and they are giving importance to the anonymity of their users. That's better than them operating anonymously.

6383  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you believe NBA is rigged? on: November 08, 2020, 01:35:24 AM
Normal season games can sometimes be rigged. But I think that there is a very low chance to do something like that on playoff matches. I never watch normal season games because there are 82 games and it is too much. But I love watching playoff games. So, I don't have any idea if they do that in normal season games but I believe that playoff games are legit.
I don't think that even in the normal season games.

Are the mafias still on the league, maybe yes or not.

IMO. The normal games are even the hardest because if the team is not serious and they are throwing their games, the stats will reflect in the playoffs.

If they will try to rig games, they won't make it an obvious one, hence it will not affect the stats in overall.

For example, a certain team is +5.5 against the favorite team, and the favorite team had a comfortable lead of 7 points already which made him cover since there's few seconds left in the game, but.. .when refs made a bad call (foul) against the favorite team and sink all the 2 FT before the game is over.

so the game will end like 5 points win by the favorite but since they are giving -5.5, they lose.

What I'm trying to explain is the bad calls of the refs or those trash minutes that players are still dying to score though not necessary anymore.
There are questionable calls but when the refs do that, we're all thinking that it's part of the rig or any fixed match.

It really happens even in crucial games and in the finals but I don't think that can be said as rig, a ref can make a mistake too.
6384  Other / Off-topic / Re: Lockdown depression :( on: November 08, 2020, 12:37:49 AM
I'm not that depressed in this time of crisis...
Fortunately, until now, the government of my country has not imposed a lockdown even though the number of positive Covid-19 continues to grow. manage your emotions and thoughts because the cause of depression is a person's inability to manage his/her mood and mind.

This is really the tough times are not much informed left and business also not doing well since consumers are no more interested now in buying and spending unnecessarily as they do not have much money left with them. Jobs being lost, income not getting generated so only on very limited stuff people are spending money and trying to save it.
Lots of jobs lost.

Lots of income and revenue have been stopped and reduced due to lockdowns. Emotional problems are dwelling in most people that are experiencing hardships with provisions.

It's a hard problem and it's even harder because of the virus.

Government has to choose between moving the economy or postponing it again.

Appreciate it!!!
By the way, what is merit and why do i need that? Seems like everyone is looking for that?
Is that some forum currency?
No, it's not forum money. It is a form of appreciation for your post. When someone merits your post, it's like the point that someone likes and appreciated your post. And it's also a requirement for you to rank up.

Try to uninstall all of the software when it started to react like that.

IIRC, there's always that reaction when the software isn't compatible with the lappy. Might not be the actual solution but it's not that time-consuming to try.

-snip- And they are excited to trade it and in result, it compromises their awareness by being quick without checking the contract addresses.
Well, not just airdropee that can be a victim of this kind case. I also being scammed by fake address because of FOMO, the case is I'm using Dextools to find new liquidity added to UNISWAP. and I see about YFWG. Since I'm not aware about their contracts, so I got scammed. This is makes me learn about to doble check any of new added liquidity from new coins, when it become a hype, there will followed by fake contract address. Lucky for me, because I bought with only 10 dollars, so nothing to lose. Because I got good experience from that.
This really happens.

That's a good lesson with a fair amount for you to learn that you can share with others to which we should avoid.

How we wish that most newbies that are on it are reading this thread and can learn a lot of things to secure themselves.

6389  Other / Off-topic / Re: Which is more saving for travelling? Public transport or personal vehicles? on: November 07, 2020, 09:14:01 PM
When compare both the public and personal transport the expenses are same but in our personal vehicle we can do more comfort more than the public services that's why I think personal vehicles are more efficiency and cost savings for everyone.
What I've learned during this covid19 times is that it's always comfortable to own a car.

When you travel and there's this pandemic, you don't have to come along with other passengers in public transportation. So if someone with anxiety and fearing the contact of the virus, you have the safest and most comfortable travel.

And that is when you're driving in your own car.
6390  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Best DEX trading platform on: November 07, 2020, 08:39:35 PM
Idex and Binance Dex are not actual decentralized exchanges.

What I usually see is when mk4 suggests hodlhodl.com and bisq.network.

But what most of the traders are to use those centralized exchanges. They are more comfortable using them than a real dex.
6391  Economy / Speculation / Re: Buy every dip, and HODL! on: November 07, 2020, 07:57:48 PM
Probably now, our fellow plebs are wishing they bought Bitcoin below $10,000. There were multiple golden opportunities when it surged up $10,000, then dipped down below $10,000 again. My fellow plebs, ATH is next. Don't miss the golden opportunities to buy the below ATH.

They are always like that.

When we tell them to buy as it's the dip. They will have a say that it's better to wait furthermore than to buy at the current prices.

The bad is, their "Plan B" is FOMO.

Quote

Now, they have no choice but to buy higher than $10k. I did even read some are still waiting for $3k.  Roll Eyes

The good is that it might not matter because Bitcoin is on its path to a price discovery to a 6-digit valuation. Or more! Cool
Until they discover that it's on its way to 5-digits to 6-digits. They will keep waiting at the bottom.

If no action is taken, they'll just watch bitcoin going up to the sky.

Counting has been paused in Nevada.

With 6 more votes for Biden to win, counting was postponed.

The bettors and supporters has to wait for it.  Grin
6394  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: $100 USD vs $10,000 USD Trading Capital on: November 06, 2020, 11:20:50 PM
Agreed, as you said, it better to trade on what amount you can afford to lose, just like gambling.
But can you say crypto/forex trading is gambling? even with the right amount of knowledge at your disposal
It is what traders or any kind of risk taker must do.

Always use an amount as capital that's very affordable to lose. This is a very simple reminder but do you think that many are losing? especially if the market is going up like this time.

Greed is starting to get us again and in the end, many will fail.
6395  Other / Off-topic / Re: Scams?? on: November 06, 2020, 10:56:13 PM
Is it a cloud mining website?

Don't invest on them, they will have a sure profit from your money but not you. And more likely, they will have an exit scam the soonest you have deposited.

And a fact, the majority of these cloud mining sites don't really have equipment for mining.

6397  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Manny Pacquiao vs. Conor McGregor on: November 06, 2020, 09:50:35 PM
Any update Guys when this fight will be Held?surely not happening this year right?
No update yet. Speculations are telling that by next year but that's still a rumor. On the other hand, we got Floyd having a side comment.

--> https://www.dazn.com/en-US/news/boxing/floyd-mayweather-jr-says-manny-pacquiao-wont-have-a-bigger-fight-vs-conor-mcgregor-than-he-did/14sfzqdzlocxj1o9ibsyalyfzz

Mayweather his right, the idea was originated by him so he got the people to interest the fight, and people who have already watch the Mayweather vs Conor fight might not be interested in this fight as they have already seen what's going to happen.

Conor will just be a punching bag for this legendary fighters, maybe if Manny will fight him, he will just play him so the game would last but Conor does not really have a chance here.
We can't remove that as it really started through him.

The match pending or possible upcoming match soon is one good source for Conor himself and at least also for Manny as he said, he'll use the money to help the people.

This is why I don't do airdrops these times. Yes, there were amazing projects that have given free money and it's in huge distributions.

But there were newbies that always see it as a gem but they never know that they could waste as much fee as they can by just sending it to the Uniswap or any exchange that airdrop token they've received. And they are excited to trade it and in result, it compromises their awareness by being quick without checking the contract addresses.
6399  Other / Off-topic / Re: Must Watch Anime on: November 06, 2020, 08:39:25 PM
IMO.

Nothing beats Hunter X Hunter and One Piece.

I'm in the latest manga of One Piece and it's kind of boring to wait the release weekly and sometimes it's on break which usually happens. Like every other week or two.

In Hunter X Hunter, there are two versions.

The 1999 and 2011. A lot of scenes were not included on the 2011 version but the animation is better than 1999. But story and details wise, 1999 is the best because it's the original with dark themed. It makes me remember my childhood.

I'm sorry with your loss.

Health and life insurance are important but you know what, I still have none any of them. But I'll be going there soon and my pick is the life insurance.

Yes, we don't know what's next tomorrow or the next day but purchasing one is what I've learned to prepare for ourselves and family - just in case.

You know what I mean.
