Sad but BTC was my best investment, tried different other nice coins, but BTC gave me most, from peace of mind to nice profits.

Well, Bitcoin price suddenly got -500$ in value in matter of hours, someone definitely is dumping a huge load of BTC, while the Bitcoin cash stays steady at 300$. So, is this the beginning of the bitcoin apocalypse, the genius swap between BTC? Or they will dump both and re-roll to Satoshi's The Real Bitcoin? ![Roll Eyes](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/rolleyes.gif) I think bitcoin will keep going up into Bitcoin Cash becomes more profitable to mine (1-3 weeks). $4,000 is a sticky psychological level, it should go to and over $5,000 soon. And yeah, I think the smart money is dumping and buying up BCC. By year's end this should be finally over with for good. And I wouldn't be surprised if both chains destroy each other and they all move to a new chain/coin. You can make a killing over the next 3 months but be nimble, have cash on hand and be ready to jump ship. I can't imagine what will happen if both chains destroy each other, okay, industrial miners will have the most of it, but what will it be worth if the distribution will be minimal? Can't see how the third will survive if BCC(BCH) and BTC vanishes into abyss. The third, the "real" one may be born in November, so till then, I guess we are safe. Also, if BCH is to replace BTC, it needs a huge crash (<100$/1BCH) before the awakening and swaping, to unload the unbelievers/fools/weak hands. What do you think about this, Vlad?

The healthier the market, any market, the more unpredictable it is. For sure the trend is bullish, from 1 cent to 4250$ in matters of less then 10 years is remarkably bullish. Of course the market will try to get rid of the traders that bought in at all times high, that's how it works.
In 2014 I realized that if I don't want to miss any BTC mooning, I need to hold, selling high and buying low in our case is almost impossible, BTC did not met a stable price as of now. It will only go up, with proper corrections of course.

Sold most of my SIA a week or two ago at $0.01. Had some bought below and some above so kinda broke even with it.
I am glad I did it, it fell from that point to almost 50%, now around $0.006.
I knew the obelisk will be a disaster for the coin when it launched, only 1460 obelisks sold so far in almost two months, did not expect to be so big of a disaster in terms of time.
I expect now SIA to fall even more, we will see, I guess I will rebuy at $0.001-$0.002, if they wont give me that price, oh well, so be it, still have around 10% of my previous amount.

Yup i sold all BCC last week because i see this altcoin really has no potential to grow, and people do not invest in BCC because it is free to distribute and anyone can sell BCC at any time
The distribution is fair in my opinion, being it free doesn't matter much. Also, you can sell any coin at any time, what is the point in this statement? I believe you are wrong and BCH (BCC) has very good future, along with BTC.

Most of my BCH I lost due to electron wallet ![Sad](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/sad.gif) . Still have some leftovers on some old wallets, I will just hold those leftovers. Thinking of buying more if the price hits 500$ +.

After reading this topic I am in a dilemma.
Thinking of buying BCH if it rises above 500$. It is still too early to know which one will have more value, but I am optimistic, I believe they both will be very valuable, much more valuable than now, hundreds fold.

Before putting any cent in any shitcoin think about this - If you are so smart, why are you so poor? If you are so smart, why you make so poor and stupid mistakes?
Figure this one out before you "invest" by buying any shitcoin.

Hi there. So i wanted to give it a try and used a small wallet to check if electron cash is safe to use. Well it is not. I imported a wallet using all the precautions needed to save my bitcoins, and imported a small amount of bcc into the wallet. A couple of minutes later the bcc were sent away like magic. Farewell... So be carefull!!! Here's a screenshot upload picI am pretty sure that it really depends on where you get the wallet from. There's a bunch of websites out there that state that they have an Electron Cash wallet though they have some kind of virus placed onto it so the money could get transferred without the person being around to approve it. I've used the official wallet and did what it stated to do within their website and I was able to get Bitcoin Cash without losing any Bitcoin (I did have to spend about 0.0001 BTC as a transaction fee). After I've received Bitcoin Cash I just sent it to an exchange. My bad was for keeping the BCC 24h + on the Electron Cash. ![Sad](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/sad.gif)

All my BCC got transferred to some address. I used the Electron Cash "soft". My bad ![Sad](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/sad.gif) . Don't use it guys.

Why buy altcoins or invest into ICOS if 99.9% are scams? Cause you are a greedy ass adventurer who can't see the obvious signs.

I've read a few pages. Because interested in the title and answer of each person and I want to ask if there is a special way to become a great trader? Because for now I still learn and yet can make a fixed income in trading altcoin
There is no strategy that works for all, just continue yours if you earn already a fixed income. Add a zero to the numbers if the profit is not enough.

Interesting times, I really don't think bitcoin cash will die, we'll see, won't we? ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif)

All is possible.
But it is very risky for small/medium traders.
What you need to find out is most of the traders that makes profit (>70%) are almost all the time bears, or bulls, never both. The market ate all the bears that become bulls and all the bulls that become bears, greed eventually burns all the traders that "buy low and sell high".
If you have enough money, you can be a successful bear, or bull, just pick a side and never switch.

Yes, actually you need to pay taxes, but I think the actual need of paying a tax occurs when you will buy USD(or your local currency). Then you need to declare the trade and pay the according tax, if such tax exist in your country.
