641  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Third Quarter is coming on: May 01, 2018, 12:39:43 AM
The third quarter of the year is coming! What are your speculations about bitcoin and altcoins?
642  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Should I invest in Litecoin now or invest in bitcoin? on: May 01, 2018, 12:38:43 AM
Litecoin was one of the first altcoins to appear so it was heavily inspired by the ideas behind Bitcoin. In fact, it is made to be the currency that will address the major drawbacks of Bitcoin. It is 4x faster (2.5 vs 10 minutes for releasing a block) and mining is somewhat easier.
It certainly has been over the years, even though there were short term fluctuations that are inevitable for any currency. But at the end of the day, it has always been in the top 5 cryptocurrencies.
It is traded on almost all reputable exchanges, so it’s very easy to get a hold of it. However with the current price at $151 only did you think it has a high probability of increasing in price drastically possibly competing with bitcoin in the future as a means of storing value??

That will depend on how much money do you have. But if I were you, I am going to buy litecoin because it is a top coin and it is much cheaper than bitcoin. Even though bitcoin is the best crypto coin right now, you shouldn't doubt litecoin because it can also become bitcoin in the next 5 years.
643  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How important is a community behind a crypto project? on: May 01, 2018, 12:35:29 AM
Hello all,

I came across this article that talks about the importance of a community backing a project, how important do you think it is? Do you think they can get by through large marketing budgets instead? and do you agree with the article?

https://medium.com/crowdholding-innovation-platform/why-do-you-need-to-build-a-loyal-community-for-crypto-projects-14b9207608c2

The logic is even though you have a good team and project development if you are bad in advertising it and the community can't reach it, your project is useless because no one is supporting it. And yes, you need a loyal community for your crypto projects in order to have a constant support.
644  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Should I buy Cardano before it hits 40 Cents on: April 30, 2018, 11:32:07 AM
What do you guys think!

Yes, Cardano is a good coin and you should buy it when it is low. Actually, even though you buy it at 40 cents there is no problem with it. But it is better if you buy at a lower price in order for you to buy more.
645  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: PayPal CEO said bitcoin SCAM ! on: April 30, 2018, 11:31:17 AM
Bitcoin is Scam. Short-lived CEO and co-founder of PayPal - Bill Harris has written his own opinion on cryptocurrency, Bitcoin. According to him, he claims that bitcoin is a fraud. He said it was an incredible pump and dump scheme, never seen or experienced in the world.

There are scam activities that are related to bitcoin. But that doesn't mean bitcoin is a scam. There is a possibility that the whales are toying on small people but people should always trust coins that have a good future. It will become worth it in the next few years.
646  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Did you agree that for crypto to continue growing we need a large huge volume?? on: April 29, 2018, 01:28:13 PM
Did you agree that In order for cryptocurrencies to start growing again, institutional money need to enter the market making the prices soar - That may will cause an  increase in volume, making the big players re-enter the market followed by the new wave of adopters. Wink

Yes, I believe that if you let the institutional money to enter the crypto world, there is a high chance that the coins' prices will increase again. But with the increase or stability of the volume of the coins, I am not sure of that.
647  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What websites are you using for price analysis? on: April 25, 2018, 08:06:57 AM
Hi guys, I wonder what websites are you using for price analysis. I am noob...so far I found and use these two websites https://cryptowat.ch/ and https://coinalyze.net/ Coinalyze has a chat which is useful for me. Any other recommendations? Thanks!

Other than this sites, you can also use coinmarketcap. Anyway, if you want more information about the coin, I think you should also read articles about that coin. And If you are only going to analyze the graph of the coins, I think you can just simply use exchange sites.
648  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Signature, Social media or translation Compaigns in bounties? on: April 25, 2018, 08:04:51 AM
there are many compaigns that will give the profit to the investors or the participants. But i want to know which compaign is the best for the godd money and little quick.

can any one help me here?

if you have mande money from any way in this method please give your suggestion and opinion?

sincere answer and with explanation and links  Smiley

thanks

The most common type of campaign where you can earn a lot of money is the signature campaign. But you should always look at what is the percentage allocated for that type of bounty. If you saw a legitimate campaign where facebook campaign is the type of campaign where the allocation is highest and you have a lot of friends on facebook you can join it. But I think you can join all the campaigns if you want and if you have enough time.
649  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How low do you think ETH price will go on: April 25, 2018, 08:02:17 AM
With the current price drop, i havent really heard any facts to back it up, but in several places I've read that we will have a 5-6 day decline.
I personally do not think so based on the fact that there isnt anything to back it up.

No one knows for sure. I actually predicted it to be as low as $300 but it actually dropped to $200. And also, it depends on how long the red days are going to continue. But even though it goes to $300, I can say that this coins is really trustworthy because it actually reached until $1,300. All you have to do is buy more if the price drops and hold again.
650  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: encourage others to crypto on: April 25, 2018, 03:24:01 AM
Will you encourage others to invest in crypto and explain to them that this is not a scam or a pyramiding activity?

Only stupid people will fall into crypto scams or any forms of pyramiding activity. If I am going to introduce someone to cryptocurrency, I will introduce them to this website first. And also, I will try to convince big companies to support cryptos in order to have a big support and it may affect the prices in a positive way.
651  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: How to minimize the risk and choose the best altcoins? on: April 24, 2018, 12:58:30 PM
So far altcoins have brought me the best returns, but as the time goes by, more and more scam projects appear and it becomes more difficult to distinguish good projects from bad ones. What is your strategy, how do you filter these few satoshi coins?
I have found several articles, for example, https://steemit.com/altcoin/@utuku/checklist-before-buying-cheap-altcoins but sometimes I still feel uncertain and would like to hear more suggestions and opinions on this.

You can actually reduce the risk up to 0%. With enough research, you can know which coins are going to have a future. And you actually did the right thing like reading articles to know which projects are scams. Anyway, if you want to be sure and don't put your money to waste, just invest on top coins that have a low value like Digibyte and XRP.
652  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: Verge and Pornhub on: April 23, 2018, 01:12:54 PM
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pMVYFPEbLVo

The Future Has Cum. One day you’ll tell your grandchildren about this monumentous date: April 17th 2018, the day it all changed. That’s because, as of today, Pornhub will start accepting Verge Currency, the most secure and anonymous cryptocurrency on the market. Lets make it chain!

I think this is a good news for cryptos. Because another coin got a support from another company. And it could affect the verge's price now in a way that it could increase.
653  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: How far XRP (Ripple) can go in this year? on: April 23, 2018, 12:55:17 PM
As everyone know, Ripple is a good cryptocurrency and has very good potential in the future. But for now, its price is a little bit low.

Few recent days, the whole market is retrieving and of course XRP has increased more than 20% in just a day.

I think or maybe I believe that XRP can reach to 5$ before the end of this year or maybe can be higher than that.

How do you guys think?

https://www.ccn.com/ripple-price-rallies-20-to-headline-surging-cryptocurrency-markets/

I am thinking about investing in XRP after I get my money in using INS. I am expecting it to skyrocket up to $10 this year because of its good development. And also, it is very consistent since it stays in the top coins even in the last few months.
654  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Are Alts About to Crash? on: April 22, 2018, 07:27:17 AM
Hey,

I see that we've finally entered a bullish phase (not sure how long this is going to last). I think it will be good for May pending any kind of FUD. June is the adsense FUD.

But anyway, I've read some articles that say that alts are making a comeback and money is pouring into alts... but these same articles caution that experts think that soon money will be pouring into bitcoin from alts. They say the infusion of money into alts is only temporary.

I'm sure most of you have seen that when BTC rallies too fast, alts crash. I was wondering if you guys think that a fast BTC rally is in the immediate future?

Are you hodling alts or are you going to go into BTC to ride out the BTC pump, then buy all the crashed alts?

Here in cryptocurrency world, no one knows when is a coin going to crash or going to skyrocket. And you don't have to worry about the crash because if there are a good project development and a team behind that coin, that coin's price is going to go up in the nearest possible time.
655  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Scam coins, be careful on: April 22, 2018, 07:24:42 AM
This information is nothing new.  Don't believe it deserves its own post in the Announcements section.

If this information is nothing new, can you show me an evidence that someone already said this one? And can you also provide clues that a coin is a scam?
656  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Should i quit on joining bounty campaign? on: April 22, 2018, 07:23:23 AM
It was an unfortunate event that i was able to join an ICO campaign that was really not good in terms of their management. They are requiring to do the bounty hunters a KYC process as to help them identify the real bounty hunters. Well that is good though and i am confident that i am able to comply in the KYC process. However, a couple of months pass the team requires the bounty hunters to contribute with 0.1 eth and that time I was about to think why when in fact they will do KYC? So i think there is something fishy out there in their ICO and i quit joining bounty campaigns. I posted more than 200 post for them but sad to say my efforts had gone to nothing. I am afraid now to join ICO bounty campaign. Should i quit? Well anyway i found SONDER and this time i am sure that i have joined a good ICO having a live sales which sold million of tokens in their private sales. No question with the success we are almost reaching the soft cap and i am planning also to invest with them as the team told us that our contribution as eth increases so does our tokens. WOw i am really impressed with these ICO. The team are working hard and i am happy and great to be with these team. I finally found the one.

Well, you shouldn't quit joining bounty campaigns because the opportunity of having money is just there. All you have to do is to join the best bounty managers and make sure that you are joining a legitimate bounty campaign. Though I haven't experience these scams, I don't have any plans to experience it that's why I make research and make sure that my bounty campaigns have a good reputation.
657  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: which is the best bounty site ? on: April 21, 2018, 12:45:13 PM
that's the problem, i've completed some bounty but until now no one has distributed to my wallet, that how to respond to it? I am also confused

I think there is a lot of possibilities in your case. Number 1 possibility is that that bounty might be a scam, and that bounty has a bad team and just a slow project development. If you are going to join campaigns, make sure that you can contact your bounty managers so you can ask questions about the bounty campaign you chose. Because sometimes there are requirements you need to pass like KYC and sometimes they are not announced in the beginning of the campaign.
658  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Are “alts actually back”? on: April 21, 2018, 12:42:33 PM

If I am going to observe the graphs in the past days, I can already include that the altcoins are already back in green. But for me, it can go back to red any time because it can be controlled easily by the whales.
659  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I buy or sell, I'm always not satisfied !? Maybe it's good or not?) on: April 21, 2018, 12:39:17 PM
I buy or sell, I'm always not satisfied !? Maybe it's good or not?)
Tell us about your main mistakes in the crypto market, this experience can be useful for many!

In order to have good results, you should be investing only in top coins that have a low price or whenever the price gets low. Only sell coins if you really need money and if not just keep on holding since you followed my first advice. So far, I haven't experienced any mistakes in crypto since I haven't invested in coins. So far, I think I am just prone to bounty scams but with enough research, I can avoid those.
