Did you agree that In order for cryptocurrencies to start growing again, institutional money need to enter the market making the prices soar - That may will cause an  increase in volume, making the big players re-enter the market followed by the new wave of adopters. Wink

I do think that crypto will eventually need large institutions and governments for widespread adoption. I say we're still probably at least five years away from these kind of things happening though.

Institutional money means more manipulation.

Dou you want an extremely manipulated market like in the stock one? In that case only real PROs would earn something.

Better keep it amateur.

If you need to see the market grow in a fast pace then you will need the institutional investors money. We experienced this scenario last year when bitcoin reached almost 20,000 USD.

In long term, we don't need institutional investors money. bitcoin price will soar even without them. This is because more and more people will engage on crypto currency and block chain technology on where bitcoin is the father of all.

Not exactly like that, you probably want a rise like the one happened in 2017 Q2-3, it will not happen but market will grow without creating a bubble

I do not expect that, crypto should be free of anything. If you let a whale go to your lake, then when he is hungry it will eat all the inhabitants of the lake and maybe the owner of his lake could be the victim. It was a short story that happened last year and I do not want an accident to happen again in the next year.

I agree crypto market will growing again as institutional entities enter crypto market now but we just need some time because last year. Now we just will see little bit correction again before going to $15k in my prediction

They do not need them to start growing again but it would definitely make a big difference. At some point down the line the growth from just small individual users will not be enough and the only way to really continue growing at the same rate as previously would be to have that money flow in to the market. I think that things are being set up for that to happen. It's a long way off but with regulation being put in to place I see a big run in the coming years.

with the emergence of information that has a negative impact on cryptocurrency it is necessary institutional money from investors to revive the passionate cryptocurrency market, it requires the role of many sectors, I think it is difficult, but not impossible, I hope it will happen in the future

Yes i totally agree with the thread poster that bigger volume is compulsory for the growth of the crypto markets, infact it is compulsory for all the markets to grow.

More than huge volume we need coins that can solve real world problems. There are many coins coming up with functionalities that solves real world problems. Once there are coins like that the money is automatically going to flow into the crypto market.

Yes i did, Because money flow can help crypto to put more daily trade volume in the market. More volume means there will be more demand and interest to buy more and more crypto as much as they can and that will be result in big bullish trend.

Not necessarily to me, even without a large volume, crypto can continue to rise. But if people scare the market and cash out their money, there might not be any growth.

with larger volumes whe would have a greather growth in the mid time, look for example what we did in dicember with the fomo, a lot of people entered in the market with great capitals and in general everything had a growth, unfortunately they stopped that closing all the exchanges so in the last 2 months whe had a correction probabilly due to a lack of new capitals

yes and no.

because you are forgetting a couple of important matters.
for example the "big players" have not gone anywhere. they are still in the market and are making a lot of money from their pumps. but the thing is they are pumping coins and you are missing them because you only keep your eye on some top shitcoins!

the other thing you are missing is the fact that these "big players" are not interested in any of these altcoins. they and all the rest of the investors are only interested in making more money. if you want the cryptocurrency market to grow real big then you should ask for better altcoins instead of shitcoins that are only for pump and dump purposes.

Really, why not?
New technologies are comming right now, problems that created the fall of prices were fixed (not all of them, but most) new systems will upcomming really soon and etc.
All such things will give you a great opportunity for getting profit from the crypto that will rise up again

Not exactly, crypto has already a large volume. Before the ICO was released, developers has already a target value. Having a large volume will only make the value much lowers because the demands does not meet the needs of the coins. It is better this way, volume needs to be limited to easily maintain.

You are thinking of the supply of the coin and not the value, the price of a coin is limited ultimately by its circulating supply but not by the volume.  Increased volume will in theory lead to a price increase although it could be the opposite or neither.
