641  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Where to put $20k? on: May 08, 2018, 08:05:07 AM
Hey guys,

So I know I need to do my own research before investing in anything, and I plan to continue to do so.

However, I am very confident in the Crypto market in February ongoing and am planning on wiring over $20,000 USD tomorrow to invest.

I would like to hear some suggestion on what to do with that. I plan on taking each of these suggestions and doing some serious research on them, but I need a good place to start.

Two coins I see at least rising a little bit once we officially get out of this dip are XRB and DRGN.

Let me know your thoughts and suggestions. They will be much appreciated!
I would appreciate ICX and CS rather than Dragonchain. I have invested in Dragonchain but it looks like they are going down. Its price has been rising unstably and tends to go down. I think you should invest in ICX and hold them in the long run. because they have a preferential policies that you will receive interest every month if you hold a certain amount of coins. I highly appreciate the future of ICX, which is a coin that will flourish in the fourth quarter of 2018.
642  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to Shut Up Bitcoin Haters on: May 08, 2018, 07:59:07 AM
There are many ways to make people hate the bitcoin to be silent. You do not need to spend too much effort explaining to those people. You only need to bring the money you earned from the bounty project or investment and show them. They will feel jealous and rethink the issue.
I did the same thing with some of my friends and I stunned them and did not hate bitcoin anymore. They asked me how to participate. Cheesy
643  Economy / Economics / Re: Taxes and regulations on: May 06, 2018, 03:49:07 AM
Today I was on a conference in Vilnius and went on a lecture about cryptocurrencies. I would like to share some aspects which I did't see so clear before. As we know, among those states which want to regulate cryptos, there are those which consider them as property and others as means of payment. The first approach is usually seen when there are tax companies around, because money is not taxed, but possession is. So when a state days they consider cryptos as property, it means they are getting taxed, while this is not the case with means of payment.
What do you think of this?
I think the government has done it right, because Crypto is making a lot of money for many people, not just a payment method.
Many became billionaires thanks to the development of Crypto such as Vitalik Buterin (founder of ETH) and Changpeng Zhao (founder of Binance). So I see Crypto as a new market and bring a lot of profit to everyone. So the imposition of taxes is correct.
644  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Ethereum will reach $ 2500 on: May 03, 2018, 11:51:45 AM
DeVere group analysts: by the end of the year Ethereum will reach $ 2500 and will continue to grow

According to analysts specializing in financial consulting company deVere Group, before the end of this year, The price of the second capitalization of Ethereum cryptocurrency can grow four times from the current marks. About it reports MarketWatch.

"According to forecasts, the price of Ethereum will significantly increase this year. It can reach until the end of 2018 the mark of $2500, and in the next two years to continue the growth," — said CEO deVere Group Nigel green.

The head of the deVere also said there are three main drivers of growth rates Ethereum:

"This overall rise will be fuelled by three main factors. First, more and more platforms are using Ethereum as a trading tool. Second, wider Use of Ethereum-based smart contracts. And thirdly, decentralization of cloud computing»
Green is also convinced that the cryptocurrency industry will inevitably face regulation, which will contribute to the protection of investors, as well as increasing confidence in the long-term prospects of this market.

Earlier, the blockchain entrepreneur Stephen Marioff expressed the opinion that the price of ETH this year will grow threefold. According to him, this will happen thanks to the active introduction of Ethereum technology in various spheres.

These are just predictions and the future is never predictable. We can only see how they develop each day to evaluate whether that can happen.
But this is very difficult when the market Crypto always rely on the price of bitcoin. I do not know what bitcoin has the power but it always makes the market fluctuate with it. So I think this takes a very long time to happen.
645  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are you holding EOS? on: May 03, 2018, 11:48:19 AM
I am holding more than 20k EOS and I think this will be a wise investment for me. EOS has many advantages that other altcoins do not have. They are pursuing a 3.0 block series, which is an extremely positive act of EOS staff. I appreciate the technological advancement to improve altcoin. Undoubtedly, this is really a formidable opponent of ETH in the future.
646  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is your involvment in crypto world? on: May 01, 2018, 04:21:04 AM
As the title, do you actually work 24/7 in the crypto world as like: trading, mining, bounties, airdrop etc?

And what is your expecting earnings in the future with those jobs? Do you sustain yourself with? Feel free to ask too Smiley
I only work for ICO projects and perform signature campaigns is largely. I will not use my savings to invest in any altcoin. I just want to make money from the signature campaign and invest in other altcoins.
I really do not like mine, it needs a lot of capital and must have a factory to do it. So I like to invest more. I will become a great investor and my goal is to make $ 1 billion when I am 30 years old.
647  Economy / Speculation / Re: what affects the price? on: April 30, 2018, 03:19:57 AM
bitcoin slowly went down this year, from almost 20k USD last December and went down at a significant price

what might be the reason why bitcoin's price is going down?
what are the major things that can greatly influence bitcoin?
answers would be fully appreciated Smiley
I think that's the shark's money strategy. They have made many paranoid that bitcoins will surpass $ 50k by the end of 2017 but they have been fooled.
There are a lot of people buying bitcoins at $ 20k and sharks sniffing it. Then the shark sells all its coins and makes the market go down dramatically.
648  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BITCOIN : Oppotunity Or Challenge? on: April 30, 2018, 03:17:04 AM
I'm a new investor who is talked about Newbie, and I'm know Bitcoin by Ebooks and Internet.   Smiley I found that the history of Bitcoin is relatively short, to talk about benefits, it is digital currency, not through convenient medium and relatively fast. But there are many limitations, it is anonymous and easy to be Hackers possession, difficult to universal throughout the world as well as all types of business. I want to borrow money from my parents to buy more Bitcoin, because I believe the value is increasing but they still doubt it is multi level ponzi, should I invest a lot here or not? I need more advice. Thank all of you a lots.

If you do not trust bitcoin, you should invest in another altcoin. Because investing in bitcoins will not bring too much profit to you, but altcoin will bring a lot of profit for you. You must have good knowledge of investment, evaluation and analysis.
So I think you need to take a little time to learn about investing and then come back to the Crypto market. It is never too late for us! Wink
649  Economy / Economics / Re: Which crypto-currency do you prefer? on: April 29, 2018, 03:14:33 AM
At the moment I prefer Bitcoin, but I am looking for an alternative. Can anyone suggest me some alternative cryptocurrencies except Bitcoin ?!
P.S: I'm so sorry if I post this in the wrong board but I don't know what is right board for this question. If I post this in the wrong board, please move it to the right one, thank you.
I like Credits, which is a very potential altcoin in the Crypto market. Most ICO projects are for money transfer purposes and that is how they make a profit. But I have not seen any altcoin that can pass the transaction speed of Credits.
Credits are really a potential altcoin in the future when users need speedy transactions.
650  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: EOS - Asynchronous Smart Contract Platform - (Dan Larimer of Bitshares/Steem) on: April 29, 2018, 03:07:13 AM
I highly appreciate the platform of EOS and their business. It is very useful and meets most of the needs of a consumer. That is why the price of EOS is always rising while the market is unstable.
I bought the EOS since its $ 4.54 and I'm still holding them until now. I really feel lucky. Grin
651  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 150 ETH OR 9.5 BTC? on: April 28, 2018, 01:47:53 AM
150 ETH OR 9.5 BTC?
Almost worth the same value now,  but which one is better for holding untill DEC 2018?
I'm an ETH fan and I think you should buy ETH. ETH will have a glorious year in 2018 and 2019. Intentions for technology improvement and business expansion have been proposed and all are just a matter of time. At the end of April, they need more time to complete their plans and will be able to do so in the shortest possible time. Investing in ETH will bring a lot of profit for you.
652  Economy / Economics / Re: surprise 2018 on: April 28, 2018, 01:43:01 AM
OMG! btc prices continue to decline, most likely the price of other coins also decreased.
we need improvement in the face of this situation.
in my opinion 2018 really a lot of surprises.
Yes, I think this is a more volatile year than 2017 because GeoSor Soros has entered the Crypto market and is known as the great market manipulator.
We should be careful with his strategies, we can lose everything if we neglect. But the instability always makes me and the traders feel happy. Grin
653  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are You Paying Your Crypto Taxes? A Recent Study Suggests Otherwise on: April 28, 2018, 01:40:14 AM
The last date of tax filing in the US is April 17, 2018, which is just a few days away. However, reports suggest that Americans aren’t really feeling paying their crypto taxes as being just 3 days away from the end of tax season and only a small fraction of American residents have actually filed their cryptocurrency tax reports.

In my personal opinion, I think this is a correct view. Because the US government has not intervened in any illegal activities involving the Crypto market, so they will not receive any taxes from investors.
Unless they protect investors by law and handle fraud, they can be taxed.
654  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin as savings, emergency needs possible? on: April 27, 2018, 10:48:19 AM
So far there are many concerns regarding on bitcoin advantage. I have read a lot of it here in our forum. Thus really make sense why should we invest in bitcoin? Well i know that you can add up more when comes to the advantage of investing bitcoin from the other members as well. In fact i get a lot of idea from them from reading and reading from their post. Thus includes bitcoin as a form of savings highlights the best idea on investing bitcoin which could be later use as for emergency needs also. So how it will work? Well i have some extra money from my salary so instead of putting it to my piggy bank i will invest it here in cryptocurrency though  it is not that big yet it could be consider as savings. From time to time as other members done like holding and selling it in the right time will do also. So it will be savings plus profit and that could also be use for emergency needs and easier to get or convert it to money for emergency uses unlike lending money from banks that will cater 2-3days process before you get your money. So this is the best idea i guess. How about you?Could you consider this thoughts?
I think your idea is pretty good. Because the bank's recurring interest rate is too small, it does not bring too much profit to you monthly. So investing in bitcoin or some periodically profitable altcoins is a wise decision.
Because this is a new market, so there are plenty of altcoins that pay a very high monthly interest rate that can be up to three times higher than a bank.
655  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will you sell your Bitcoin at $100,000 or what? on: April 27, 2018, 10:43:57 AM
I don't have much of bitcoin to sell it below $100,000 - and will probably do this one year after.
Still have some doubts.. Maybe $200,000 will be a better point?
Please give an advice, your opinion is important!!

PS. It's not a joke. Please be realistic while estimating..
Gonna bring up this topic close to X-Mas 2018.
In my opinion, the future is never predictable. Even rich men in the investment field, they can not accurately predict the future of companies, or money.
So we need a different investment strategy, so we should not rely too much on the news of the media. This is the first rule you need to keep in mind before investing in any field. But if you trust the future of bitcoin, buy and hold them. Because your beliefs are set in bitcoin, you will feel very safe and happy when there are many bitcoin in hand.
656  Economy / Economics / Re: Banks Won't Make You Rich on: April 26, 2018, 04:21:37 AM
This is my opinion.Banks won't make you rich.saving in bank can never do that, because of interest rate that bank gives you is too tiny. You saving will be simply be eaten up by the sleepy monster called inflation. As a example I will take ,When I'm in grade school, each day I received 10Rs (my country currency) from my mother. It was enough to by me 2 meals, but in now 10Rs enough to buy 2 candies.  Lips sealed Banks are just for keep your money safe!  Tongue

Yes, the bank can not make us rich. The amount of money they hold and our interest rates are very low. So I think we need another method of keeping money. I think we should buy cold wallets to stock our money and invest in a number of different areas. It will be more profitable for monthly interest rates.
657  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Should bitcoin have risen a little slowly? on: April 26, 2018, 04:19:36 AM
I think if bitcoin rose quite steadily and slowly people wouldn't look at the best cryptocurrency with an "evil eye". Going forward, do you think a slow steady rise, rather than a speedy erratic rise is good for bitcoin to get "accepted" all over the world? The sudden rise seems to scare people and  governments.
Yes, I totally agree with you. Slow growth is a good solution to longcoach development in the future. When the market fluctuates steadily, people will not be able to expand the new business model for bitcoin.
But I do not think we have the right to decide. Fluctuations are caused by the sharks. They want to eat small fish because of this volatile strategy and they will become richer.
658  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How far can Bitcoin go? on: April 25, 2018, 03:07:09 AM
Do not be fooled by the market cap. It is just a mere multiplication of the current price and the total circulating supply and nothing else. Thus, the market cap is not there to dictate the past, current, nor future price but rather, the market cap is there because there is a price.
Simply saying, there is no limit in Bitcoin's price. The price will continue to increase as long as the demand is constantly increasing.
Yes, I totally agree with you. These are only general and inaccurate numbers. If the market capitalization to invest in bitcoin is a wrong strategy.
The best we should find out about these high value coins is the low price to buy them. Or we can buy altcoin that has a good investment strategy and hold them until its price reaches its true value.
659  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin as new hope for humanity on: April 25, 2018, 03:04:22 AM
Bitcoin is not just a life saver but also a life changer. Before, I don't know anything about investment. I'm just a minimum wage earner and my salary is most of the time insufficient to my needs. My family is struggling financially. When Bitcoin was introduced to my life, everything changed. At first, I invested a very little portion of my salary to HYIP and gambling hoping that my life will change instantly as what those sites promised me but I was scammed multiple times. It was devastating so I decided to stop investing on Bitcoin. After a few months, I saw some posts on social media on how Bitcoin changed a person's life so I decided to give it another try but this time, I will make sure to invest in myself first and study more about cryptocurrency. I learned about this forum and from here, I learned more things about Bitcoin specially on trading and investments. Now, I cannot say that I'm completely financially free but I can say that I'm already earning more than enough for me and my family's needs.

Bitcoin gave me another hope about life. There are times when we are feeling wasted and wants to give up but before you give up, ask your self first if you already did your best. There are times that we will definiyely lose and people will ruin our dreams but that is not a reason to stop. Just like on my experience, I got scammed but after a few months, I gabe it another shot. If I gave up, I might still ne struggling financially.

Life will definitely throw you lemons. All we need to do is learn how to make it into lemonade. I'm very thankful to Bitcoin. To all investors out there, just invest on your self first and I assure you, you'll get profit from it!
Investment is a form of business and it requires a lot of experience in trade and knowledge of the economy. bitcoin really brings a lot of money for us, our lives have become more wonderful since we know bitcoin.
But investing in bitcoin blindly and profiting is unlikely. I know you are a bitcoin fan but investment needs strategy.
660  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: in 2020 wich one will be higher bitcoin or ethereum ? on: April 23, 2018, 05:41:04 AM
in your opinion which one has the chances to go high by 2020 .........

1. ethereum

2. bitcoin

I do not think Ethereum can take the number 1 position of bitcoin. Although ETH's technology is very good and it is a good platform and most important for some other altcoins to come out. This will help ETH grow forever, but it still can not beat bitcoin. Because bitcoin has a pretty high price and it is often used for big deals. ETH will not be able to meet it when its price is only $ 600.
