I have some DOGE, received from faucets. Not much just around 500.
After the increase in the transaction fees of BTC, I have thought of converting my BTC and LTC to DOGE for the transactions and keep them as DOGE. On the second thought, I thought of converting my DOGE to LTC and keep.
I have gone through some articles about DOGE's future price and I got some 50-50 opinions. I discussed with my friend and he suggested me to hold till mid-2021, I can't say why till mid-2021.
It's true that many sites have started accepting DOGE, thus it is getting popular so there is a chance that the price may increase. Still, my knowledge says there are certain loopholes like there is no upper limit in mining DOGE and it is still much easier to mine compared to others. In short, the demand & cost curve is a bit of a failure here. Though one can't say what might happen after 20 years.
Here I want some expert advice on this. Whether it is a good idea to convert and hold or keep my DOGE reserve constant.
according to my observations of Dogecoin for now it is not certain that the current price will be able to last for a long time .. and the current price of Dogecoin is the highest price since Dogecoin was launched and this has also been the highest price in Dogecoin's history .. so for now if You want to hold back then that's a bad move. |

The price of DOGE has suddenly leaped from 25 sats to 129 sats in just a matter of hours. It was unbelievable. No one was expecting such a rally for DOGE. That's more than 400% of growth out of the blue.
Accordingly, the rally has something to do with the infamous Wall Street Bets which got its popularity through Reddit.
As of this writing, DOGE has already climbed to the 13th rank as per CMC and Coingecko, surpassing the larger names in crypto such as EOS, Monero, Tezos, Tron, etc.

everything we do in trading definitely wants to make a profit so before you buy one of altcoin you have to really pay attention to various factors so that you don't experience a loss. because I believe that now is the "shitcoin" season. but not all altcoins fall into the "shitcoin" category so please choose the best altcoin in your opinion. so we don't need to wait for the bullrun season as it did in early 2017. because there are still many altcoins currently moving well in various markets.

Will it be wise if this forum put up a request that ALL NEW PROJECTS EXPECTING TO RUN BOUNTIES SHOULD PAY A CERTAIN AMOUNT OF FUNDS BEFORE CONDUCTING ANY BOUNTY OR run an ESCROW.
The fund will be use to settle hunters should incase project owners Refuse to pay hunters Or decides to play tricks with hunters payment after a successful bounty campaign. For over a long period, hunters has been crying and wailing about successful campaigns that has refused to make payment. there are new campaigns on-going and more projects will run bounty campaigns sooner or later. the issue of payment is still a lingering problem here with No solid profound solution. Apart from the fact that some projects has the ANN Thread labelled as SCAMS, it is still do not offer solutions to payments.
the idea above is just a suggestion.. we all hope that a perfect solution will solve this issue of projects refusing to settle hunters here and will promote this platform.
I agree with your idea that currently the payment problem has not found the best solution. the label "Scammer" will not change the feelings of bounty hunters who have been lied to by them. because we have all been working on their projects for 3 - 4 months. so it really needs a concrete solution by the founder of this forum so that no party is harmed. |

Aside from monetary incentives in crypto, I rarely come across discussions pertaining to why the average enthusiast in crypto is involved with crypto. While the answer may be pretty straightforward, there are some outliers.

Personally, I'm staking V Systems and Cosmos.
Why V Systems?
Well, when you stake V Systems you get the native token, VSYS and you also get the token of the first project to launch in their ecosystem, IPX. They call this Staking 2.0 and they're going to roll it out across a number of different projects. I'm pretty excited about getting a piece of every partner project.

I need some details about this project "Hypnoxys". This token already listed in coinmarketcap and number is almost 16**. But I'm still curious to know is this project still legit to everyone. I have came to think of something reasonable about some projects, today everyone just wakeup to create his project and introduced it to btt just for people to suffer and promote probably at last the project will not succeed and they will foldup why? everywhere and there having much projects trooping in the forum today but few succeeds.
today, tomorrow, next tomorrow came up with all such of tokens, or could it be they want to build their social media groups and pages then they will come create fuck token and disbursed to the people whose manage to follow them on their media page and at last such token has no value in the market. they will even stole some other project websites just to boost their pages. this is improper... We hear scam and thief everywhere due to not have a proper documentations about the ventures.
I think earlier 2010 to 2015 there were no scam project even if there's, is just 1% but now is +-50%
to me this are the interest of those fake project.
1. they want to boost their facebook page
2. they want to boost their twitter page
3. LinkedIn page
4. YouTube, ETC
my Questions
Is there no other ways BTT can track and trace such people posting such project in the forum?
Is there no way we can run free and fair project in the system without us being scammed or tricked?

good strategy in my opinion. because you have taken the right decision to withdraw 50% of Ethereum assets that you have to buy some altcoin which in my opinion has the potential to rise in price in the future. but all cryptocurency users have their own strategies to be able to generate profits from the trade that they do. and I'm sure you will be able to generate greater profits in the future.

I don't know what happened with the Ethereum, why this coin's price is not growing that much? Without Bitcoin pumping, Ethereum can't grow a bit. Where BCH or even BSV price keeps pumping like the bull run! Now, 1 BSV coin's price is more than double of 1 Ethereum. I am a holder of Etherem, but day by day I am being frustrated by holding it, it's price is far lower than 200 USD! Unbelievable. What do you think guys? Should I convert my ETH into BSV or BCH for more profit?
we must admit that BSV is better than ethereum now because it has good growth in the market and ethereum is currently in growth but ethereum growth is slower than BSV now. so in my opinion for a trader we must be able to see the development of altcoin that we have in order to be able to generate profits for us. so choose altcoin that can give you the advantage of it. and I'm sure you have a decision on the assets that you have now. |

I've read people asking and posting how to protect their wallet but apart from educating yourself on how to protect your wallet, private keys and passwords, It's also very important that you protect yourself from exposing your portfolio you don't go around telling friends and random people, coins that you are keeping.
And also It's important to have other businesses or jobs and not rely on all your needs to Cryptocurrency, people will notice this and they will think you are making a fortune from Cryptocurrency and they might target you.
So are you protecting yourself and how do you protect yourself and your family?
I protect all the assets that I have just by making this my own privacy and no one knows but myself. starting from wallet, private key, password and others related to cryptocurency that I have. and I also don't publish or expose anything I have on social media. because in my opinion to maintain privacy it must be in privacy. |

The question is why do some people generalize all Altcoins as bad? considering there are over 3000 of them out there. One would not have the time to go through each project one by one. to analyze the project. team etc everything behind each crypto project.
There has to be some project out there under good intentions. Not all projects could be a scam. I admit I only have a top 4 i consider when it comes to best coins. But yet many should be decent at least honest projects out there. Afterall we do need more projects. more quality projects out there in order for crypto to succeed.

I will start hating altcoins only when bitcoin raise up to 20,000$ and altcoins fail to move up as well, many people are putting blames on altcoins today as if bitcoin is not in loss itself, the ATH of btc was 20k and now it's trading for 7,000+ thats like 12,000$ lost please how will this not affect other altcoins as well? Top altcoins will surely lose value as well, to me this present loss of altcoins are positive, look at coins like LTC, EOS, BNB, these coins are doing fine. You will only have problem if you invest in crap altcoins
everything that happens has its own era or time. as happened at the beginning of 2018 many altcoins are soaring up high to rival the rise of bitcoin. so too now bitcoin is experiencing a tremendous price decline that has slightly reduced the confidence of its users and presents doubts for some crypto traders to invest. and hopefully in 2020 the price of altcoin can go up again like in 2018 ago. |
