641  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Litecoin in 2019 on: February 15, 2019, 08:39:48 PM
It would be nice to watch what will happen with the price after Litecoin halving.
There are 2 scenarios:
1. Litecoin halving will start the bull run.
2. Only Litecoin will rise and we will know, that bull run will start next year with Bitcoin halving.
642  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Which Coins are a great LONG-TERM investment ???? on: February 14, 2019, 06:03:21 PM
Bitcoin as a store of value.
Ethereum as a token for the biggest world decentralized computer.
PundiX as a token for everyday life.
IOTA as a token for internet of things.
Vechain as a token for transparent tracking products.

As you see, I choose the coins, that could really help the world Wink.
643  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Decentralized vs centralized cryptocurrency exchanges, which one is better? on: February 14, 2019, 05:38:14 PM
Vitalik Buterin said one day, that centralized exchanges will burn in the hell. I think that he knows what he is talking about. Thanks to centralized exchanges so many coins were stolen, so many IDs were abused by hackers and many more bad things were done by CEX.
644  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Self developing network - automatic updates - no hard forks? on: February 14, 2019, 05:12:50 PM
Republia is not bad but what matters is how good and smart the teams are ,really it would have been better if hardfork is supported but it depends on the teams and one thing is clear ,republia is a new project and new projects are tend to perform better ,it might be for greater good
New projects have better progress? Only on paper I think, but the reality is that they can not compete with big cryptocurrencies that have more developers and more money for development Wink.
645  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: How bad is other altcoin value on: February 13, 2019, 06:21:09 PM
Critically observing the rate at which bitcoin value is low at this time, I now imagined how low other altcoin will be by now, even with bitcoins superiority. What is your view?
Altcoins rise and fall more than Bitcoin because they have a smaller market capitalization. You have to invest more money into Bitcoin than into altcoin to cause the growth.
Altcoins are more risky but could be more profitable.
646  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Should I buy TRON or ETH? on: February 13, 2019, 06:10:19 PM
It is too late to buy TRON. You should have though about buying TRON before the airdrop.
It is interesting that Bittorrent has almost biggest market cappitalization than TRON Cheesy.
647  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Please give some light on XRP on: February 12, 2019, 01:18:42 PM
Ripple is a coin with the most partnerships around the world with big financial companies, that makes this coin interesting. Because without partnership nobody cares about you.
648  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: BitTorrent - PLease be really ****CAREFULL**** when throwing money here on: February 12, 2019, 01:05:19 PM
I know about the high market cap and probably thanks to that BTT token can't rise more in the current situation. But all people here believe in 100k and more for 1BTC, then another rise is very possible.
649  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ICON what happened? on: February 12, 2019, 12:57:35 PM
The problem with coins that have a high stake value is that people dump their profits which keeps the prices low. Also, ICON is not as good as NEO so that pushes them further down the list
It is not good at bear market, but the situation will change as soon as market sentiment changes. In bull market people love free coins Wink.
650  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ICON what happened? on: February 11, 2019, 12:30:47 PM
The staking reward is crazy, 12% per month not even per year. One of the main ting that helped Waves tokens is the low reward given out for those staking their coins which help to reduce the inflation rate. ICON was one of the most hyped ICO in 2017, a direct competitor to Ethereum and two years later no real Dapps is running on the platform, until all these platforms start having real users and applications they would end up in Zero value
ICON would like to connect all the blockchains. They are not really interested in creating own Dapps, there are many better platforms for it - EOS, TRON, Ethereum. Or I am wrong? I know about the cooperation with the government and I think that is the most important thing on this project.

652  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: 🔥IMPORTANT NEWS🔥: possible YES to ETF of Bitcoin-->BULL RUN, MARKET GREEN 💰 on: February 10, 2019, 10:21:03 AM
Do you think that recent pump is corelated to this news? So many people are escited about ETF, that ETF approval cause a next bull run but I would be cautious with this claim.
653  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ICON what happened? on: February 10, 2019, 10:15:46 AM
simply because it is useless!
any coin or token that has no use cases is eventually going to end up in the same place as the other couple of thousand altcoins that have come along and died in a short time.

if that is not enough then your own statement should do it:
ICON still gives 12% monthly by staking it,
any coin that gives this much away creates a lot of circulating supply that people gained easily and they will obviously dump. it is a pretty simply supply and demand thing!

no usage=no demand + high circulating supply + free high profit percentage => declining price
And what about PundiX? They are airdroping tokens every month and if you calculate the yearly ROI is around 30%!
As I said, I know that we are in bear market, but look at the grap, there is a line - it seems that the project is dead.
654  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: China lifts ban on cryptocurrency on: February 09, 2019, 09:49:17 AM
A good news is back from the most populated and powerful country in the world. China lifts ban on cryptocurrency, individuals and businesses can own crypto now legally. I believe this change will impact on the market value and it may go up now.
But ICOs are still banned?
Even this is an old message, it is good to know, that China decided to allow owning cryptocurrencies nad mining. Because why not, the government has profit from it (taxes)  Wink. And all countries should know it, that instead of banning it, it would be better to take profit from it.
655  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / ICON what happened? on: February 09, 2019, 09:39:52 AM

What happened to ICON? It seems that this project is dead if you look at graph. ICON still gives 12% monthly by staking it, so do not understand why so many people sold ICON. I know that we are in bear market, but ICON lost more than other altcoins.
656  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will the Real Decentralized Consensus, Please stand up! on: February 08, 2019, 07:41:31 PM

Vitalik Buterins claim that to achieve, higher transactions per second you need to be “centralized” in the sense to you are running few nodes, is not really correct, it assumes a certain amount of things...

https://quantum1net.com/decentralized-concensus-discussed/

That is true, that is why Visa or Mastercard can process tens of thousands of transactions per second and decentralized blockchains canīt competite with them. If soemthing is decentralized it needs a time to send payment informations to nodes around the world Wink.
657  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: XEM team scam peoples for millions of dollars on: February 08, 2019, 07:31:53 PM
Was this news confirmed? I have heard that they have a real problem with bankruptcy and if they donīt get money the whole coin will die. Maybe they only want to keep it alive.
658  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: BCH Price To Touch 2000 USD by 2019 End on: February 06, 2019, 09:52:12 PM
I bet it will drop to zero in a few years. Especially when second layer solutions like lightning network and different privacy features will be implemented to BTC. Bitcoin cash is just a piece of shit and it always was so. Undecided
And about what Bitcoin Cash are you talking?  Grin About Bitcoin Cash ABC or SV? Do you see the absurdity? Fork of fork is going to touch 2000USD, oh, what a great news, I am going to buy!  Cheesy
If you want to create a coin and you have no interesting idea, you simply create a fork of Bitcoin ... and you can be sure that people will buy it  Grin.
659  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Crypto Games AS TYPE OF INVESTING on: February 06, 2019, 09:33:06 PM
Collectible games is something like investing into antiquities. You have to believe that one day someone will buy your item for higher price because this item will become more popular for example Wink.
660  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: STOP With The ICO Garbage on: February 05, 2019, 04:21:03 PM
There's way to many ICO's that are literally trash. Idk how people invest in some of these projects. It's honestly a joke... The Bittorrent ICO would have been a good one to invest in just because of the hype behind it. If the token goes to $0 in a few months it would still be worth it because people are tripling their investment within a few days (probably not worth buying right now, but do your own research). Those type of ICO's are 1 in 1,000,000. The majority of the ICO's people are investing in are pure garbage. They have no utilitarian uses and they have weak fan-bases. I can't comprehend why people don't wait until POST ICO release, THEN analyze the platform and decide whether or not to invest. Doesn't this sound like the best logical solution? Sometimes even quality ICO's dump and you can pick some up for pennies on the dollar "fire sale".

This was a quality ICO, don't believe me? Look at the chart, strong buy action with low sell pressure and you could have picked some up for dirt cheap and doubled your money within days - https://nauticus.exchange/exchange/BTCAUD
Because they still believe that ICO price is the lowest one. If you buy more tokens you will get very big discount and what we see is that ICOs are now mainly funded in private sale than in the public sale.
