641  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to safely store big amounts of BTC? on: August 08, 2019, 11:02:47 PM
While I would love to use my desktop PC to use as hard wallet, theres ledger nano and also trezzor that we can use to store Bitcoins however, I read somewhere that trezor is vulnerable to hacking. I don't know haw it was done but as soon as I read that article, I removed trezor in my list and just opt to ledger nano. Just make sure you don't always take it with you, its very small size and you might misplace it.
642  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Is Likely to Hit $100,000 by End of 2021 Says Anthony Pompliano on: August 08, 2019, 10:50:34 PM
Its easy to say that price of Bitcoin will hit $100,000 by end of 2021. There's a lot of personalities who also say that Bitcoin will reach leaps and bounds by end of 2020 but the question is how and why will it reach $100,000 by end of 2021.They can hype it up but giving those bold predictions but for me I will not wait for that to happen, just trade and before you know it, you already accumulated more than your target if you trade wisely.
643  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: what kind of trading will suit for me? on: August 08, 2019, 10:43:38 PM
You can ask people here what trading suits you, the will give you a lot of suggestion but at the end of the day its still you who will decide which strategy suits you and you are comfortable with and you can't do that unless you start trading, not just a few trades, it may take 10 or more before you can say to your self that you are comfortable with just day trading or just scalping. Learn how to use those tools (ex: RSI, Parabolic SAR) first then trade.
644  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What's the *easiest* profitable betting strategy? on: August 08, 2019, 10:37:25 PM
I had chosen the "Finding Value Bets" I never try this but maybe it works that finding a good team and study them in sports betting will probably you will have a chance to win. However, this does not give a guarantee to all gamblers because every match is unpredictable but at least you are having knowledge on which team is weaker on you can avoid them to bet. Take note that this is only my conclusion.
The odds that odds makers give to a team can help us decide where we can put our money however, the returns are very low and another thing that you need to consider is the "upsets" like in MMA and in Boxing, a lucky punch can turn the event around but in basketball in games that consists of team, you can study the line up first before deciding plus the odds that was given by odds makers.

Yes Conor needs to add something else in his arsenal. He is excellent in standup fighting and he will be more viscous if he can add wrestling, grappling in his list of expertise. I see picture of Conor practicing BJJ after his fight with Diaz which is good if he wan'ts to be good at it. It's just like boxing, your opponent will watch your videos over and over again to see your weakness and focus on that weakness. Fighters need to evolve and change something in their fighting style in each fight.
Can we teach old dogs new trick? Even in the Khabib fight Conor knows that he will be taken down by, but his training is not enough to offset Khabib's ground game. I'm sure he train enough for that but when you are hit in the face, all those strategies and careful planning are put out into the window as you just want to go toe-to-toe with your opponents.
Well I am one of those who doesn't believe in that idiomatic expression that "You can't teach an old dog new tricks", I refuse to believe in that because I myself is in the mid of 40's and I am still willing to learn, it's just a matter of ones eagerness to learn. Conor can learn but he can't learn and be #1 overnight because he learned a few tricks, but yet he learned. After learning, next question is application, how can it be applied or can he apply it right away.
646  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Earning bitcoin is hard but i still keep fighting on: August 08, 2019, 10:25:09 PM
TRADING. The main source of getting an income would be trading. The name already sounds hard, what more would be the application. Countless loss but still have patience on trying again. I continue fighting.
One good thing about trading is that you cant start at small amount until you get that hang of it and your worst enemy is your emotions. If failed at one point in trading, learn from it and move in, just like what you said, keep on fighting.

HODLING. The laziest of them all. All you need to do is to buy a definite amount and wait for it to get higher. The only enemy is the long term patience and greedyness. Its tiring but i continue fighting.
This strategy may the laziest of them all but it works for a lot of people. I would say if have $1,000 USD, I will put 30% of that in long term hodling and the rest will be traded accordingly.
647  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Bull Run ‘Hasn’t Started’ on: August 08, 2019, 10:18:57 PM
Why wait for the bull run when at current price movement of Bitcoin, you can earn more than waiting for the bullrun again. A friend of mine who works in a bank as a teller gave me $100 and I bought 0.01 BTC at that time at exchange rate of $9,905 and now BTC price is $11,700, she was so surprised that her money grew 18% in just a matter of days and I haven't traded yet, I just bought BTC and hold, what more if I buy Alts and trade and hit a goal of 2% per day.
648  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why Choose Lottery Instead Of Anything Else? on: August 08, 2019, 10:12:14 PM
Here in my country, lotteries are run by the government and proceeds are used in various projects and most specialy helping those who are in need like for hospitalization. So if I did not win, at least the money will be spent in helping people.

I remember my aunt's cousin defending himself about this addiction.

He is also putting his money into the lottery, buying tickets and depending on the numbers he is putting for almost 3 years. When we asked about his addiction, he never admits to it but this is his answer when we asked him why he's still betting. I also think that he wants to earn a million out of that small digit, I mean, yeah, who would not want that but the thing is that in the long run, that small digit if saved is a great help.
Just imagine how much money was spent in 3 years. 6/58 lotto costs that's 0.00004260 BTC at todays BTC price, multiply that 52 since there are 52 weeks in a year then multiply in 3 since your aunts addiction lasted for 3 years that's 0.00664 BTC. That could have gone  along way if spent in another form of investment but that is your aunts way of entertaining herself, she is happy doing it. I wonder if she ever won anything like a consolation price in that 3 years.
649  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The UFC Info and Prediction Thread on: August 08, 2019, 09:55:02 PM
Conor should also practice a million times the flying knee to the head to try to pull a Masvidal on those eventual standup->wrestling->standup transitions. There isn't much he can do, but it's not 100% impossible. Whoever bets on a Conor win on the next fight will become rich because he will be a massive underdog, but those things can happen.

650  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What messenger do you use to chat with your crypto gambling buddies? on: August 08, 2019, 09:46:46 PM
I only use Telegram to communicate with my friends who are into online gambling. However, I have a separate Telegram account for personal use like the one that I use to communicate with family, friends, business friends, colleagues and associates. I don't wan't my personal Telegram messages mixed with messages about gambling and updates.
651  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Serious question about Bitcoin. Is it a reliable and stable investment? on: August 08, 2019, 09:42:23 PM
Do you guys consider bitcoin a reliable and stable investment for long term holding(5-10yrs)? Is it safe to assume the only direction(barring a few dips here and there) bitcoin will eventually go from here is up?
If you are going to ask a banker, they will say Bitcoin is a high risk investment because of course those guys always wants to make sure their investments are safe if ever they put the pool of money they hold somewhere, but they will ask you first what kind of investor are you, they will classify if you are a moderate or risk taker, risk takers are those who are open to investments that price changes a lot, that's where Bitcoin comes in however, in terms of direction, we can say 100% that it will continue to go up, no one can. All we can do is speculate.

So if I did not win, at least the money will be spent in helping people. It's just sad that lately there were news that portion of that money are going to that pockets of politicians and not to where its intended purposes.
653  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Anyone here have some strategy to gain money, but with low profits daily? on: August 07, 2019, 11:45:26 PM
Theres no such thing as strategy. It might have worked on a day or two, but it will not work consistently that one can earn money on a daily basis because if there is, people will stop working and just rely on this strategy since it would not require hard labor.
654  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Pacquiao Vs Mayweather 2 on: August 07, 2019, 01:43:33 AM

Sadly boxing is not only sports but business.  Promoters behind this Pacquiao vs Mayweather fight  wanted the money so the possibility of the rematch is huge.  They can always rig the fight so they can just put a show and possibly end the fight  in a draw.

For a business to become a success, both parties need to agree with each other.

Unfortunately, that's not the current case so this fight is far from happening for now. Mayweather will surely demand a much higher reward prize, win or loss, on this match. Pacquaio on the other hand, will not just accept much smaller rewards just for Mayweather to accept his challenge for a rematch. It's a disrespect for him.

This fight will not gonna happen unless both parties settled for a 50/50 aggreement.

It might look like a disrespectful move for a promoter to offer an 8 Division World Champion but rewards will give Senator Manny Pacquiao more respect than he has now. However, that is if Senator Manny Pacquiao will accept such offer and if Floyd Mayweather will sign a contract to slug it out again with the fighting Senator from the Philippines.

If the share is 50/50, I don't think Floyd Mayweather will even hold the paper and take a look. Remember that 1st match Floyd Mayweather signed the contract with 60/40 meaning Floyd Mayweathers fee is higher than the fee for Senator Manny Pacquiao.
655  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is Technical Analysis Bullshit or Not? on: August 06, 2019, 11:32:30 PM
You will never know if technical analysis is bullshit or not, unless you used it and gained profits from it. To those who don't believe in it, they may have another way to analyze whats happening to the coin and gain profit but its the same thing, they are just using their own way of analyzing the movement of the price.

I would rather buy a coin based on technical analysis rather than base it on hunch or just emotions like fomo. If you are not familiar with using technical analysis, there's no harm in asking someone to help you out. There are free seminars and and free webminars that will introduce you to technical analysis.
656  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How do you manage your profits in trading? on: August 06, 2019, 11:26:05 PM
If you already gained profit but you see the price keeps going up, Sell a portion of your coin to secure your profit, and the remaining will still generate profits for you. However, its better if you set a target and stick you to it. Sell when you reached your target. The problem starts when suddenly  the price of the coin you have starts to go down and you are trapped holing a coin that you bought at high price.
657  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🔥 BITSLER.com 🔥 CASHBACK 🌟 NEW LEVELS 🌟 NEW RANKS🌟 CHEST PRIZES OF $35,000 💰 on: August 01, 2019, 11:55:02 PM
...a bunch of some mid-cap alt...
Now say its accepted at their favorite gambling website, the individual might keep it for gambling instead. Then there are no sales and the price remains stable, and if enough individuals do this then it might cause a demand for the alt and cause the price to increase.

actually your theory is like a two edge sword that can cut both ways.
when those traders who went to gamble with their coins are doing that, they are out of the market. so the order books and activity in the market is that much less. so a dump can happen a lot easier compared to if they were around.
for example those bag holders who dump their coins might actually pick it up again when the price goes down in the hopes that they have "bought the dip" and that makes the dumps harder.

in fact that is why it is always easier to pump small altcoins compared to big ones. for example you can see an altcoin with 0.1BTC volume get pumped 1000% in a day but you will never see anything bigger than 20% pump in short term among the big altcoins on top 10 rank.
I was thinking that if the coin will be more stable if it is used in gambling sites because if its is being traded, there's a possibility that by the end of the day, the price of the coin will go down or up, unlike its being used somewhere else and it is circulating, price will remain or might move a little since no one want's it to be exchange to another coin.
658  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Which is better Government run Lottery or private run Lottery on: August 01, 2019, 11:43:40 PM
Philippine President Duterte suspended the operation of the government-run lottery because it is spam infested and many governments appointed officials are pocketing money coming from the sales, do you think it is much better to let a private company run the Lottery or they set up a monitoring board to check if all funds are all remitted..

Source : https://www.rappler.com/nation/236406-duterte-suspends-pcso-gaming-operations-july-26-2019

Your thoughts
There will be no difference if its run by the Government or by a Private company. Imagine if you put the same Juan the corrupt in same position in the private company. That same Juan will do the same. Even if you put a religious or a God fearing man in the position if greed starts to kick in, he will turn into a Juan the corrupt in no time. Its the attitude or character of the person in the position that will make the difference and the institution.
659  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Traders who never bother to learn how to trade on: August 01, 2019, 11:37:48 PM
I am sure that if it was easy to trade, then almost all were successful traders.  it is an investor that you can become fairly easy to have a certain capital and know about the prospects of some projects, but trade requires a lot of attention, labor, knowledge and experience.
Its not just "Buy low, Sell high" and it's not just by looking at charts and see a golden cross. It's more than that. Traders can easily earn $1,000 in just a few minutes but they can loose it as well or more than that in a few minutes. You can't just rely on whats out there that is free to read, you also need to spend to learn more to earn more.
660  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Pacquiao Vs Mayweather 2 on: August 01, 2019, 11:31:12 PM
Every boxer is entitled for an opinion, but Mayweather is just too good for Manny because he don't engage like Thurman and he is faster than Manny, of course taller, bigger, and stronger that is wise enough not to risk his undefeated record by not engaging much.

If we like to see a running show the whole 12 rounds, this is a good fight for us, the only happy moments if this will happen is when Manny wins but unlikely if Mayweather keeps running, probably same result with the previous fight.
I don't agree that Mayweather is too goo for Manny, his strategy is good but if he change his strategy and try to engage in a fight and slug it out with Manny the story maybe different. If both fighters are on their peak and on the same weight category, I think Manny will beat Floyd because of his quickness and style.
