Just read the notice on Poloniex. I must say it's much better than Bittrex, they won't even block users from withdrawing their funds, while Bittrex won't even update the fact that you're not allowed to withdraw, or even the reasons why you can't withdraw, and from what I've been reading and experiencing, they won't even email you back when you email them about not being able to withdraw (keep in mind that at first you have no idea what's going on). It sucks that I will have to send them my ID in order to get all my money out and use another exchange. And I rather not use Bittrex again simply because the way in which they are handling this just feels very, very shady, that it really does not make me trust what they would do with users information. Look at how Poloniex actually gives you a warning, versus complete secrecy by Bittrex.
Bittrex needs to have everything taken from them and the coins redistributed back to the bitcoin community !! *pitchforks&torches lit!

The network is indeed working: 6246 transactions in the last 24 hours as I write this ( https://siastats.info). Several exchanges are having issues that range from offline wallets to heavy delays (several hours to several days) crediting deposits or pushing withdrawals to the network. In general Poloniex is not a reliable exchange and it is not officially recommended anymore by the dev team due to a long history of users issues. Can you reuse a "receive" address? I'm not sure when you stopped recommending Poloniex, but I had two large transactions go astray and the issue is still not resolved after weeks. Both were outgoing transactions from Poloniex to my SIA-UI receive address. poloniex is dying ~ we are moving away from there ... :\ meh

who do you think will own the master-nodes for LN? There are no master nodes for LN, go away and do your reasearch before making blatantly incorrect statements. the more i think about it LN and SegWit make no sense ~ let's keep bitcoin slow with dinosaur like resilience :-D weeee

Great that SIA's price is moving upwards finally. Im looking forward seeing it break the 10cents mark in 2018! Do you guys think thats possible or not? In my opinion it should be, if the community behind SIA stays tight and doesnt loose confidence and starts selling off when there is a slight rise.
In this sense, happy new year to all!
siacoin it's going 1000+ satoshi before you can even blink weeee

Is it true that it would be delisted on Bittrex? How about on other exchanges? Could anyone explain if this is true. I love hodling this coin cause I know it will go hyper on the coming hardfork and support from Obelisk on the release of ASIC Miner for the Siacoin network.
Who tell you this ? I read about it somewhere, but now I really be stick on DYOR rather than reading on some groups. That's simply false. Bittrex has actually been working with the Sia dev team to update their wallet software and correct their issues with deposits and withdrawals, which are working again. Why would they take so much trouble if they plan to delist the coin? Don't listen to the FUD out there. Is there a rental rate sheet for those renting out there spare HD space?
You can check the table "Top 100 hosts average settings" at SiaStats to get an idea of what the most competitive hosts (thus those that get most of the file contracts) are using for pricing: https://siastats.info/hosts_network.htmltruth is bittrex and poloniex are being embargoed by the bitcoin community whereas dark pools are not acceptable :\ siacoin is revolutionary see u @1337

kinda off topic
but anyone have an idea on what kind of transaction fee I'd get hit on for a $1,634.00 BTC transaction?
thanks....trying to guess
At the current state of the blockchain, with a standard 2 inputs 2 output tx, a non-segwit would be a little over $8.00. I would set fee at 170 sates/byte right now. Thanks you will be tipped for your math...will send you a pm so I don't lose your avatar/handle now as a test...will shoot off tip as soon as I see if my frigging wallet works on these purchases brad pay taxes on crypto you are going to the birdcage n00b lol happy new yeerzzz<<<

Good morning Bitcoinland.
I see we've gained back most of what we lost yesterday.. currently $14114USD/$17747CAD (Bitcoinaverage).
Old coins are worth $16996USD/$21372CAD each (Coinmarketcap).
It's nice to see just about all cryptocurrencies except Ripple up today. Maybe the Ripple bubble is about to pop. That would be very amusing.
As the new year works its way around the world we have a lot to look forward to in 2018.
Go Bitcoin go.
good morning my friend~ bitcoin hanging in there it's going to be an uphill battle WHEREAS>_>n00bs don't even understand what is an occupy coin? :-D weeee BLESINGS AND HOPPY N00B YEER<<<<
