641  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: You can buy Bitcoin in Austria at nearly every corner on: March 19, 2015, 01:06:35 PM
We need idea and concepts like this brought into other smaller countries to boost the adoption of bitcoin. Smaller countries would adapt to it much faster than larger countries.

South Africa could do with something like this.
642  Economy / Digital goods / Re: [S]STEAM & ORIGIN GAMES(GTA V 38$)- DOTA2 Items FOR BTC/WMZ/skrill on: March 18, 2015, 02:44:37 PM
Wakka I'd like to know if you were provided with a reason for having your account restricted. What has steam said to you about the account if you have contacted them. If possible, I would like to back out after this although I don't want to. If you have already bought the game please PM me.
643  Economy / Goods / Re: Sound activated Bitcoin Equalizer T-Shirt for sale! on: March 17, 2015, 04:52:00 PM
I took one of them apart and the wiring is all real nice quality. The battery pack isn't something generic so I am sure you would have to get a replacement from the website if it failed, I just plan on taking the batteries out when not in use to prevent corrosion. The sensitivity adjustment has a nice rang it seems. I've only tested it on my phone and desktop speakers so far and am planing on cranking up my stereo when I get home and seeing how it preforms!

We're happy that you love your shirts.
I've posted a reference about your purchase!

Don't forget, we can create all kinds of designs for you.
And you can pay in Dollar, Euro or Bitcoin ofcourse!
If anyone is interested in such an offer please don't hesitate to contact us about the details!

Could it be any design? How much is it for a custom design?
644  Economy / Collectibles / Re: "I dont wanna talk to YOU" by Josh@Butterfly labs-collectors item on: March 16, 2015, 09:24:15 PM
I don't get why it's so hard to believe that the business card is real. Yes, is he is a good artist. Yes, he might have an art blog. If he created that himself he would just say so and people would be fine with that.

0.2 BTC might be high for a business card but BFL & their antics will be remembered in Bitcoin history and a BFL Coffee cup & other items have already been sold here probably for that historical value or to have a piece of a company that fucked them over.
To pay this dude 0.2BTC in order to remind all BFL customers that they never got their money back and that their funds were stolen. And yeah, everyone would want a memorabilia of Josh, the most loved barking dog of this forum.  Hmm.... dude, I don't think that you are in the right state of mind  Roll Eyes
Who cares, if people want to buy it, they can buy it. Josh or not.

Anyway, can't tell if this is a legit card or not. But then again, who cares. Someone who spends 56$ on a business card has enough money to spare, otherwise you would not buy it. I wouldn't, at least.

Then why do you care?

I find it quite amusing that you didn't reply to me.

You're not buying the business card, you're buying the history and the events behind it. It's something nice to have as well - not really but I hope you're getting my point.
645  Economy / Digital goods / Re: [WTS] Walmart eGift Cards, Amazon eGift Cards, ASOS Vouchers on: March 16, 2015, 07:06:09 PM

646  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Quickseller uses the fake account Skyenet, insults, and gives negs for no reason on: March 16, 2015, 06:16:06 PM
Maybe QuickSeller saw this : https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=940479.0

And posted the negative feedback, either way, your current behavior is very suspect. Carry on as you are but learn to accept what the customer wants.
647  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: International bitcoin survey launched - 1btc split 16 ways up for grabs on: March 16, 2015, 05:54:35 PM
That was definitely one of the longest surveys I have ever tried to do. I wasn't able to complete it now, since I have a ton of work to finish.
I'll get to it later. Will the results be published publicly?
648  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How to charge $30. in bitcoin? on: March 16, 2015, 05:38:32 PM
Use coinbase and it's merchant tools. It's great for beginners into bitcoin. All you would need to do , send a request for the price of the service and coinbase will automatically display and convert the price for you straight into bitcoin. It's also generates a QR code for you to use.
649  Economy / Goods / Re: Sorry, this product and service is no longer available. on: March 16, 2015, 05:26:25 PM
Okay, i just received my card.

I think i'm one of the last that got one of those.

So in other words, he's a fair person and not a "scammer", my apologies for assuming that!

Greetings

He said that the product and service is no longer being produced/offered. Are you still able to reload the card?
650  Economy / Service Discussion / What Happens When A Gift Card Is invalid? on: March 16, 2015, 05:06:20 PM
I trade a lot with gift cards - inside and outside of bitcoin - It has never crossed my mind until now;

What happens if I buy an eGift Card ( or any gift card for that matter) and it turns out that the gift card is invalid?
Proving this can be horrible as there are 1337 h4xxors that are able to use "inspect element" and/or change the pages' source and take screenshots and send it to the escrow/seller and "prove" that it doesn't work.

Other than contacting the Retailer/service provider and asking them for when the card was redeemed, what else could you do?
Some retailers don't even have gift card verifying methods(primarily local small stores).

651  Other / Off-topic / Re: Complete the sentence... "I would sell all my Bitcoins if..." on: March 16, 2015, 04:54:59 PM
I can't find a good reason to sell them all and not to keep a small amount but to comply with the thread,

I would sell all my Bitcoins if the price for the amount i have can guarantee me a life without stress and worries and can give me wealth and happiness for my whole life.  Cool

Kind Regards,
BTC-Bank.

Keep ten bitcoins and sell all of them in about 2040+. Should be a massive sum of money.
Well not massive, You should be able to live a decent lower-middle middle class life.
652  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Has anyone ever tried bitcoinreloads.com ? Is it legit? on: March 16, 2015, 04:47:57 PM
I need some bitcoins right away and I came across this site http://www.bitcoinreloads.com/
I was wondering if anyone has used it in the past and if it's legit or not.

Thanks

Looks like a scam to me. Use localbitcoins if you want to buy with moneypak

It is not a scam.  I have used them and they are fast and responsive.  They do a great job and I will use them in the future.

It's fine, they do a good job in their service.

It seems the other guy above just wants to sell you his instead.

I've used them and have friends that have used them,

and they are 4 stars.

Ahem. "PROUDLY POWERED BY WEEBLY". If they were to be turning a good decent profit, they wouldn't be running with the free version of weebly.
Another thing, there isn't any SSL encryption, I wouldn't trust it at all.
653  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin volume on: March 16, 2015, 04:40:49 PM
Did you notice how trade volume of bitcoins increased since the beginning of this year?

What do you think is it the result of hft bots trading more or maybe something like trend reverse is happening?

The current average volume is sitting at just over 57,000btc. It was A LOT higher about last month when it's value was sitting at around $197.
I think the volume caused by bots is fairly large, It should make up at least 5-10% of the volume. It's either that or there's another large whale trying to manipulate the price again.
Hopefully those auctioned off coins weren't bought at a low value and won't be dumped on the exchanges.
654  Other / Off-topic / Re: Complete the sentence... "I would sell all my Bitcoins if..." on: March 16, 2015, 04:34:21 PM
I would sell all my bitcoins if SATOSHI was actually an acronym for a list of major electronics companies or a underground group which has a hidden pre-mine of more than 5mil. btc.
655  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Looking to get on Crowdfunding Platform with BTC. Opinions on CoinJoin? on: March 16, 2015, 04:28:42 PM
I'm looking to crowd fund a project and was wondering what is the communities take on CoinJoin.com platform? I like the fact that it takes BTC and its backed by someone reputable and has his own TV show (max kaizer). Are there other alternatives with similar functionality and backing?

Am I missing something here? Are you trying to create a crowd funding platform by using the Domain coinjoin.com or are you asking us our opinions about coinjoin as a crowdfunding platform?
If you're looking to use coinjoin to crowdfund one of your projects, I don't think it exists.
There are others like bitcoinstarter.com, there's coinfunder.com . Also keep an eye on swarm.fund Wink
656  Other / Meta / Re: should be a bitcoin ticker on this site on: March 15, 2015, 09:40:33 AM
If you install jackjack's BT++ Script, you would be able to add a Bitcoin price ticker at the top of the page. It's very useful, It can show various exchanges and the average, mine is set to the average. I'll post a picture
just now.
657  Other / Meta / Re: The Ability To Hide Moved Posts. on: March 15, 2015, 09:32:44 AM
You can do this with jackjack's BT++ script. It's pretty awesome!

Ban appeal board will be good but I think it will only increase ban appeals though it can be grouped.
I actually have jackjack's script installed on my desktop and I haven't noticed that feature. Has it been added recently?
With the ban sub board, it cleans the meta and should make it easier far the mods/admins to sort them out. If it's only temp. Bans it shouldn't be queried at all, you're getting your account back one way or another. Permanent Bans should be able to be queried in that section.
The reason for the moved thread notification is so that people can see where it's gone if they're not already watching or subscribed to the thread.

However it's up to the mods to leave the notification, and when I move threads, I don't leave moved notifications everywhere. I don't leave behind a moved notification if the forum thread has had no responses yet since only the opening poster is likely to care about the thread so far and they should already have the thread on watch/subscribe.
I see your point. If I was watching a thread however and I knew it was in the wrong section after it disappeared from the original board it was In I would obviously look for it in the correct section.

If it can't be removed all together, there should at least be a feature to hide moved threads provided by the forum.
658  Economy / Digital goods / Re: WTB Minecraft Gift Code(S) on: March 15, 2015, 09:22:33 AM

Actually that seems like the price im going have to pay I want 2 gift codes would you be able to do that or just the one?

I can register 2 account and purchase minecraft with them but I emptied my PayPal 2 days ago. Minecraft disabled the option to buy gift codes with PayPal. If you'd like me to do it, I'll exchange my btc for PayPal and try to get it. There's also http://giftcardsy.com/minecraft.html. It's a whole dollar cheaper. I haven't used them before though.

660  Economy / Digital goods / Re: ******Selling Gift Cards & Steam Games****** on: March 15, 2015, 08:44:38 AM
I bought 4 $25 Amazon gift cards.  He didn't use escrow with me and he sent first. All 4 cards were all legitimate and verified. I will definitely come to neon and if I need cards again.
