641  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] LOTTO COIN - The coin thats a game! Released 12/12/13 on: December 23, 2013, 01:34:51 PM

ok but it's been one month, where i can surpass constantly 100k every day and i'm mining for only 15 hours not even 24

A single 7950, cannot solo mine 100K in 15 hours on this coin now.  Not without the most insane ammount of luck in the world.   Pool mining with 2.8 MHash is only returning 10k an hour at present.  A single 7950 does what 700 KHash at best?  thats going to be like 2.5k an hour.  15 hours average luck would therefore be 37-40K.

i'm not joking, it's been 10 days already and at least once a day, i have a best share between 250k and 500k

using scan time 15 expiry 30

Ahh yes - over ten days that could be quite true.  Early days of this coin, using the 2x 7990 there was a period of 48 hours where I could do just over 1.5M per day.  Thats very different now.

No chance of mining 250k a day going solo with a single 7950.  imho of course.
643  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] LOTTO COIN - The coin thats a game! Released 12/12/13 on: December 23, 2013, 11:44:17 AM
Sorry yes - I meant 40 m/hash.

So you are making 250-500k a day with one 7950 Huh?   Either you are the luckiest son of a b on earth, or there is something wrong with your adding up (no offence intended).   Im mining with 2 x 7990 at a total of 2.9M/hash but couldnt hope for more than 250k a day at the current difficulties.

It is tempting to split the rig 50/50 pool and solo mining, but given the inbuilt luck of this coin and the current difficulty - its pool all the way for me.  Gone with the largest pool as well in order to maximise chances of sharing the bigger super blocks.  Ive tried both deviants pool and the nut2 pools.  Had various connection issues with both in the early days when they were being DDOSed, have had stable connection on nut2 for a couple of days now, and I have no reason to doubt that deviants pool is also now stable, just I havent bothered to change my rig over between the pools recently as I have had no need to do so.  Id happily reccomend either of those pools.  No preference either way - they both fix issues promptly, they both post here too.   No offence to any other pool manager - these were just the two I tried.

Difficulty fluctuates so much at present that solo mining without massive hash rate is really a big gamble.  its fluctuated between 4.8 and 9.8 in the last hour if Im reading correctly.  If you are not lucky with solo mining when difficulty is at 4.8, then odds are against you on when difficulty rises.   If its a standard payout coin, then its personal choice as over a long period of time there should be no real difference.   However, with this coins built in "luck", then imho pool mining is the way forward, as it irons out the luck element of the coin payouts and provides a steady income.

If I was one of the big hash rate guys with 30/40K hash, then solo mining may be worth a try.  For the vast majority I think pool mining is the only sensible option now the difficulty has risen considerably.

Mate you're irritating now. This is not a place for text war. I'll let you win if you want. You want 10K? Give me your address and let's stop this bs
else stop complaining about your failure

Who's complaining about failure?   That's a very one sided take on complaining about somebody else cheating the system.  What you have done is cheated to get (on lot2) a 60% return on your investment on all the low purchase prices, leaving everyone else to play the risky game with higher purchase prices.

Ask yourself a question.  If you found a way to give yourself an advantage in a Vegas casino by scripting or not playing the game the way it was meant to be played and won, would the casino think you are playing fair, or would you be in the back having seven shades of sh*t beaten out of you?

You want to see what other people think of your behaviour?  Let's ask.

Anyone on this thread think it is acceptable behaviour to use knowledge of scripting/HTML to give yourself an advantage on being able to buy the coin bombs before anyone else?

What you are annoyed about is that you thought it was perfectly fair, yet its dawning on you that people may think differently.

You gave an analogy of using scripting to beat bots on another website.  This is as far removed from the spirit of this coin as you can get.

This is lotto coin, by its very design from its mining to the games being played with it, the coin incorporates "luck" at its very heart.  What you have done is circumvent this luck and have cheated others in this community.

Call it a war of words if you want.  I'll call it a standing up for honesy, integrity and the spirit of not just this coin, but also the community.

You have people crying out to try and get the popularity of this coin increased, people working hard to set up pools, games, marketing for this coin, and your actions are simply spitting in the face of all that work by cheating.  If there were a way to ban you as an individual from taking any further part with loto coin then I would hope that would be done, but it can't, so being known as a cheat is all that can be done.

I'd rather you donate the 100k or so you made from getting lot2 several times last night to the jackpot or something else for the community.

Although im not dumb, and if anyone else wants to send me anything for standing up for the spirit of this coin, I'll gladly accept  Cheesy

What happens on this coinbomb game when the counter reaches zero?

Like lot 4 for example, deviant must have paid about 2m for this.  Does he get his 2m back plus 1% as consolation when timer hits zero?  (Or win jackpot).

That is of course if you can get to play anyway with those who are cheating getting in first...
647  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] LOTTO COIN - The coin thats a game! Released 12/12/13 on: December 23, 2013, 12:07:17 AM
Try and rationalise it however you wish.   What you have done is clearly against the spirit of how that website is set up.  I'm not bitter at losing out to another person who plays fair.  Losing to another person that is cheating the system is quite another matter.

I notice that another person who was successful has already agreed with my post.

Congratulations on using your knowledge of scripting to cheat others.  You must be quite proud.

I'll continue to play fair in life, you continue to cheat.

As I say, its good to know the character of the people here.  You've certainly demonstrated yourself to be quite devoid of a moral compass.  Good luck in your life with that attitude.  Something tells me you'll need it.

There is a certain irony surrounding a coin and games designed to incorporate "luck" being subject to outright cheating by yourself.

Nah it's impossible. It just says "expired... reloading..." for 3 minutes, then when I can buy someone else bought it 2 min ago. WHAT THE FUCKING HELL.

Eeehm, I'm looking at coinbomb on my phone, it's 10 sec behind my computer. What the actual fuck? Is that why the others are so fast? They're 10 sec ahead?

Yep, someone is ahead of me. Scamsite...

I'm Quicker/Quicky/Quickest. You simply need a decent connection and a way to bypass that modal window. Extremely basic HTTP handling. I'm doing this with a Mozilla addon. Play smart!

Mind you I've completely missed that first lot.

I'm sorry if this is offensive.

...

If you think this is unfair I'll stop. I'll leave you the next lot.

Wtf?  Bypassing the window??

So what you mean is you've been cheating somehow and stopping others getting a turn, until the price is crazy high and it sits there for a week.

Good to know the character of the people playing this "game".  Imho anyone found doing that should have their coins added to the jackpot.  Cheating scum.  No wonder it was always the same people getting in.

Oh, sorry if this is offensive..

Well somebody must have a pretty speedy internet connection - sat and waited twice and refreshed the page imediatley only to get "this item is reserved" both times.  Same people over and over getting in...  Hmmmm

Not at all. I sold 1M doge @ 0.1BTC in the early days. Little did I know. Would you call me deluded if I thought it would hit 2BTC/M?

0.11M/BTC is an early rate. This was going on before any kind of good news..

Now the coin is going on Cryptsy. Difficulty is shooting up. It's going to hit other exchanges. I think you're simply late. You're the only one to blame.

BTW I didn't say 10BTC/M. I said 1BTC/M.

Really?  I was mining this launch day.  Sold about 4m myself.  But yes, 2BTC per M is deluded imho.  Its being dumped because people can cash in at high prices now, for something that will ultimately go the way of DOGE, but much quicker imho.
656  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] LOTTO COIN - The coin thats a game! Released 12/12/13 on: December 21, 2013, 08:54:13 AM
Surely "accurate" price is set by the sellers.

There has been trades done privately on here for 0.11 per M LOT.   I honestly think that at 0.45 per M, people are right to dump.   There have been hundreds of millions of these mined in the early weeks, if people think it's then going to hit an exchange for 10btc per million, they are deluded.

That would make mining with 4 7970's return about $6,000 a day. That's taking the early mining rates of about 1M LOT per day with a rig like that and today's BTC price.

If I had my 4m to sell again, I'd be dumping as fast as I could at .45 per Million LOT.

After HOURS and HOURS of work! htt://lot.hackshardgamin.net is NOW ONLINE!!! Please don't forget to ipconfig /flushdns!!
"This webpage is not available"

Im going to assume if there has been a host move, we are waiting for DNS propagation.  Either that or the number of new registrants has caused a temporary overload.

Ignore my ramblings, it was auto paying out to my DOGE wallet!  Doh!
660  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: LOT / BTC Google Docs Exchange on: December 19, 2013, 01:45:06 PM
All depends on how the buyer and seller want it to work.  Some are happy to send over the BTC to the seller and await delivery of the LOT.   Others may want to send the LOT first.

Obviously as we are all strangers, sometimes its a bit of give and take.   If people are unsure, then I would suggest splitting trades up into smaller transactions.  i.e. send over 0.01BTC and wait to receive 100K LOT.  It all depends on how much people want to trust one another.

My trades with ok123 have always been conducted by him sending me the BTC and I send him the LOT.

With others I can understand that they may be a bit more cautious, which is why perhaps splitting the deal into smaller transactions.  Takes a bit of time, but builds the trust between the two parties.
