641  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Busted! Cops taking BTC! on: March 30, 2015, 11:04:29 PM
Holy Shit. That's crazy
What is so surprising here? That the federal agents stole bitcoin? Police or law enforcement in general have a very long history of corruption and rogue agents being present. Crooked cops and FBI agents before have been stealing evidence, money, drugs, weapons - basically everything valuable since like forever, really. We just entered new era of bitcoin - it is just new kind of money, of course they will be stealing that too.

I have to agree with this they have been doing what stated above since it began which is kind of sad they are meant to protect and serve yet they kill and steal.

What this does show though is the strengths of Bitcoin doesn't it?

If that was cash those crooks would still be free to do what they do but because it is Bitcoin they was traced however much effort they put in to covering their tracks. 'armatures'  Grin Cheesy
642  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Anybody in the 1000 Bitcoins club here? on: March 30, 2015, 04:46:05 PM
Everybody's in the 1000 btc club!

No bobby boy not everyone is in the so called 1000 btc club because not everyone scams and steals quite as well as you my friend, i vouch this guy has more than 1000btc he got over 500 from one hustle!

He is kind of a scamming legend and most of you guys who try scamming just wish you could do it as well is this sh*t head.  Cheesy Grin Cheesy

Needles to say i am not in the 1000btc club and won't be unless it drops to $1 so i will never be.
643  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will we ever see BTC over $1,200 again? on: March 30, 2015, 03:28:16 PM
I'm thinking something significant will happen to force the price upwards at some point this year and it'll be well on its way upward before most even know what is going on. People have forgotten how insane this market can be when it wants to change.

Hopefully this is the case but we have seen some good news recently that should have raised the price and it is still the stuck, which i might add is not a big deal to me because i have time to get some more end of the month.

I am one who has forgot the insanity that this market can bring i have actually found it quite boring recently. OP i think we will see it again but not any time soon and i believe if it comes it will be legit so will be exciting times.

It could take decades.  Take at the max chart of the Nikkei.  http://finance.yahoo.com/echarts?s=%5En225+interactive#%7B%22range%22%3A%22max%22%2C%22scale%22%3A%22linear%22%7D

Seeing that, it sure is possible BTC could follow the same fate.

How often do we have a revolutionary design like bitcoin come around though? also as been said before its only going to take a few years for bitcoin to develop to its full potential.  Either way im hodling.

The blockchain is revolutionary, yes.  But this is also the open market and btc is traded in that market.

By all means, hold.

I fail to say how you can compare that chart with Bitcoins can you explain how you feel that it could share the same fate so that might help me understand what you mean by this? I see nothing that could give you that idea http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nikkei_225

They could not be further apart you can't compare the 2 except they can be brought and sold you may as well plucked up a random graph or is that what you done.

Bitcoin is here for the first time there is nothing you or anyone else can do to sway that, especially someone who asked if that is a good idea to short at 240  Wink

You're right.  You know better.  Wink

That example with the Nikkei is given a lot in trend following lectures as it shows that anything is possible in an open market.  So there's certainly that possibility that bitcoin could stay under 300usd for longer than we think.

And do not forget the primary catalyst for btc's surge at the end of 2013 was due to price manipulation via Willybot.

Edit:  And yup, I asked if shorting from 240 is good.  Why...?  Cos it's possible it could go down under 200.

Never said i was right and i know better just that you was wrong there is a big difference.

Of course anything is possible but you don't just pull random graphs from where ever you pulled it from  Cheesy

Never said we could not stay below 300, i remember why we had the last bubble pump not disputing that or was i, nope.

That is sweet so now it is possible to go below 200 when it was not when it was 300?

That is my point if you was going to ask to short maybe you're asking at the wrong time and should have enough experience to know it would have been a good time a few weeks ago.

Anyway good luck.

To keep on topic i think we will eventually see 1200 and above we just don't know when.

It is hard to find this thread from the old one.

Simple solution is to bookmark this thread which is what i have done and i have yet to see the old thread for months, nice and easy.

This bitbay was sad, although developers very hard, also won't have many people like it, so its price will be more and more low, finally gave up

This post is cute such enthusiasm ^^, Bitbay is not sad it is actually just getting started and is happy  Tongue I agree the developer works very hard and this is why Bitbay is happy also. Many people will like it when they actually understand the power of it, So the price at the moment does not mean anything Quitters give up and that is the opposite to David so all is well that ends well.
645  Economy / Speculation / Re: Do you think 1.00 BTC will worth more than $10,000.00 USD at any time in 2015? on: March 30, 2015, 02:52:47 PM
The recent NASDAQ news could push some upwards move into the bitcoin, but i definitely dont think it will reach 10.000$.

At best 1000$ if Greece gets messed up, but definitely not 10.000$.

Probly next year though.

At best if Greece gets messed up?  Huh

I am not sure that is the case if Greece collapses which i doubt that will put strain on the euro even further and will not have any baring on whether it will go to $10,000. It will not help Bitcoin unless the adopt it as their currency which they will not.

Although i do agree we won't see $10,000 anytime soon, if that was your prediction next year though, i will look forward to seeing that.

Update: Due to buyers request, and no escrow response on Quickseller, we have agreed based on half payment, per 5 accounts. Each x5 accounts at a time.

Being that we are in 2 different time zones and it is 5:am here, i chose to risk it and not wait for escrow, as stated above half payment for 5 then same again after receiving all has gone well. Thanks op
648  Economy / Auctions / Re: x10 Member Accounts No Reserve (24hr auction) on: March 30, 2015, 01:21:41 AM

Did i lose?? I bid 0.101 if i didn't. Damnit OP You should've made like a 20 bet extension to last bet if it goes over the last time.

The rules was clear i still don't know if it was me who wins or that M28M? Was exciting either way  Cheesy Your bid 0.11 was a no show on my screen

Great idea, i love poker and there are quite a few recent additions to the scene be good to get all info in one place, i played at BitcoinPoker.gg recently for the 1btc freeroll and other than the ddos i would give that site a high score/mark. 8/10

Another site that came out roughly the same time was, Allincrypto i played here for a freeroll and all went smoothly, software seems very similar to Bitcoinpoker.gg but not as good imho. 6/10

Browser= Yes

If you want to take a look here https://allincrypto.com/

anyway help I want to get this client to work again

I am only showing my listing (the webcam) and the red balloon, have you tried restarting client?

Thanks

I have restarted it many times.

Not trying to measure sizes or anything lol but just to let you know i have 5 different items for sale on the market looking at it from my client  Huh

I am on linux and it has a really nice feel to it.

Hi what linux you got ? i got ubuntu and the client don't even open. Do you need any other software before starting it?

Hey,

The computer i am on at the moment is ubuntu 14.04 i think it might be the old one but it is secure and fast enough so i will contiue to use it for awhile. How are you trying to start the client from the terminal or from the files? I have nothing added to the normal ubuntu software.

Hello,

My 2nd item is now listed on the market, a Logitech webcam.

Thanks

Awesome! Congrats on the tire gauge sell as well!

I've had the client up and running for a few days now.
So I'll try my best to let you know ASAP when your new item shows up on my client

Cheers!

Congrats on your first sale  Smiley

Surprising that has not showed up on your client yet because it is on mine and i am now transferring some to the market wallet to buy a red balloon lol

All seems to be working really well when this gets busy with sellers it will be awesome, i stopped selling on ebay because of the 10% ebay fee and then another few percent to paypal, it all added up and made it hardly worth it but here with no fee's has to get big when people know.

Well done David!
658  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [ANN] ECASH Problems/Takeover with IGotSpots - be warned ! on: March 29, 2015, 07:03:29 PM
are u done with this bullshiting and tell us what u will do with the ecash ?  any takeover - new development?

or it will die ?

I don't like him but can you point out the bs please?

If you would have followed any of this so far you would know that he is done with E-cash and there is no further development from here and probably from anyone.

So in short the coin will die, it already has but it is a zombie death at the minute but soon enough it will drop.

EDIT: He answered while writing.
