641  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: TAKE A BREAK! on: October 31, 2019, 05:20:34 AM
I strongly agree with you, the time is to break if we have issued what we can but continuously fail. Being a trader in this bad market also causes losses and it is good to stop waiting for a good market. Being a bounty hunter looking for a good project and it makes sense not to waste any time. So there are times when we are at a saturated point and we are required to rest briefly while waiting for all back to normal.
Oh i remember that the market was very bad in the beginning of 2019 and yet Gowithmi came into the space and deliver an astonishing success result, few lucky bounty hunters that joined the project never saw it coming i bet so tell me, how will you know when bounty hunting will favour you? when you stop you might lose out, i don't tend to lose out on good projects anymore
642  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you believe that blockchain would empower the systems of the future? on: October 31, 2019, 05:16:37 AM
Blockchain technology is capable to be the next tech of the future but still have a long way to go, just like how the internet started its life cycle till date, its all about gradual processes and of course there will be many failed experiments yet blockchain tech is like nothing i have ever seen
643  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will You Support Or Have You Supported A Coin That Makes A Comeback on: October 30, 2019, 04:28:46 PM
I have supported few projects that make a comeback in the past but unfortunately they are all dead now, it makes no sense to revive a dead coin and still make it perform worse, total waste of time and energy
644  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Promoting ICO scams on: October 30, 2019, 04:26:26 PM
Going back to 2017 scam ICO launchings, one thing for sure, sites like Coin Market Cap have played a very big role in promoting those scams. Yes they did it because they want money but one thing they should realize that this thing would lead to distrust of new people in crypto which would ultimately also close their shop as well.

Coin Market Cap takes a huge amount of money from those scammers.
When i contacted CMC, i got this email.
Hi, and thanks for reaching out! Our pricing is based on impressions:

Desktop Formats:
·      Top Banner (728x90)  - $14.00 per 1000 impressions
·      Side Banner (160x600) - $8.00 per 1000 impressions
·      Bottom Banner (728x90) - $4.00 per 1000 impressions
Mobile Formats:
·      Top Banner (320x100) - $8.00 per 1000 impressions
·      Mid Page Banner (300x250) - $6.00 per 1000 impressions [Coin Detail Pages only]
·      Bottom Banner (320x100) - $4.00 per 1000 impressions [Coin Detail Pages only]
May promotion:  10% bonus impressions for orders of $25k or more

If these sites just go for some verification before promoting these scams, it would be very good for the visitors. Verification can include Mobile verification, Identity verification etc. These sites are an open image of crypto, if these sites just reduce their earned money by a bit and plan for long term then it would be beneficial for all of us.
The identity verification will be the best shot here, i don't like coinmarketcap because of this, apart from checking the entire crypto market cap i don't have any business with CMC, they are worse than ICOBENCH or ICODROP
645  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What do you do when a project fails you as abounty hunter or investor on: October 30, 2019, 04:23:55 PM
As a bounty hunter i am fully prepared for any loses, its same as investing too, the risks are always present so to win it will take several try over again and again, losing is always a path to winning
646  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Altcoins to go crazy again once Bitcoin reaches 20k? on: October 29, 2019, 10:24:08 AM
Is it possible that we see another altcoin season, if Bitcoin breaches the all-time high and go above 20k? Do you find a direct correlation?
I hope so pal, but every thing depends on bitcoin future movement, do not worry too much, china have taken the giant step already so i belief we will see more adoption rate soon and morever bitcoin halving is around the corner so the more bitcoin shots up it will drag altcoins along, mind you do not hold shit coins
647  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: CEX.IO SCAM on: October 29, 2019, 10:20:51 AM
Whilst moving Bitcoin Cash (BCH) from another exchange to CEX.IO, I accidently transferred coins to their segwit Bitcoin (BTC) wallet instead of BCH wallet. I immediately contacted their customer service and requested for their help. I was told by their customer support that since the BTC address is segwit and segwit is not compatible with BCH, it is not possible to retrieve funds.

Later I learnt about BTC.com's BCH recovery service (https://bch.btc.com/docs/help/bch_segwit_recovery) and I explained them the situaton and was advised by BTC.com to contact CEX.IO and ask them to either provide public key or move coins and once it was done, they would help me out. I contacted CEX.IO again, gave them necessary links about the service and requested them to provide me the required information. I even offered them that they can contact BTC.com directly if they are not willing to share the required information, get my coins restored with the help of BTC.com and I would pay them a fee for their service. They declined both of my requests, citing technical impossibility.

I am just unable to undertand the reason behind CEX.IO's persistance refusal to help when the solution is out there in open. I know I made a mistake but this can be rectified but it seems as if they have got some ulterior motive and for that reason, they appear a scam to me.
Wrong accusation my friend, very wrong, this fault is all on you, you accidentally send BCH TO BTC wallet address so how thus this makes CEX.IO a scam? who is at fault?  you should be pleading with them to help you out, not calling them scam
648  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Unrealistic bounty allocations on: October 26, 2019, 04:11:49 PM
Wish we can keep seeing listed coins and tokens hosting bounty campaigns but none so far, the last ones i saw are veil project and callisto, they are better and guaranteed than new projects coming into crypto world this days
649  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What are the factors you look into when diversifying your crypto portfolio? on: October 25, 2019, 08:47:17 AM
In crypto investing, many of us have been taught to diversify our crypto portfolio to reduce risks. The idea sounds nice and noble, but if you don’t do it correctly, it’s practically bad. Basically, you will just be giving away free money on a cryptocurrency that might not even take off after its ICO. Worse, if the market goes to the bear territory, many (if not all) of your altcoins will take a free fall. That is not what you really have in mind, do you?
Diversifying your portfolio is only one step in the right direction. To take the second and third steps, you need to become diligent and to have foresight. In this blog, we provide the most insightful information we have gathered to help you succeed at diversifying your portfolio and earn profits out of cryptocurrency investments.

Hm, even if your diversified portfolio consists of shit coins its still Zero results, i believe diversification should consists of solid projects, surely so might fail but there will be high chances of good ROI with solid projects
650  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will You Trust a Project Announce BY A Legendary Member on: October 25, 2019, 08:43:52 AM
It doesn't matter, i promoted switch and airwallet they are from jr member account and i am glad i promoted them because they arw legit projects, i think you should focus more on the bounty project itself not the account that announced the project
651  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Don't Believe ShapeShift's Trap. There is No Cheap Hardware Wallet! on: October 24, 2019, 08:00:24 AM
If the new hardware wallet is from a new project i would have advice not to have interest at all, but shapeshift is one of the strongest old exchange in crypto space and i have been using their service since i entered crypto space so if shapeshift hardware wallet is cheap then there is nothing wrong in this.
652  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: your patience is being tested on: October 24, 2019, 07:56:44 AM
I have been a altcoin lover from the start and i don't tend to stop holding or investing in altcoins, all i need is patience for the long term hold, there will be no problem if you hold good altcoins that are useful, i belief that altcoin holders will be the most favorable in few years
653  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why do people easily get scammed on the internet? on: October 23, 2019, 09:20:57 AM
What is Scam?
Scam is a dishonest scheme that is carried out by an individual or groups of persons in mode of taking away something that is valuable to others. Those who perform these acts are reffered to as scamers.

How do people get involved, how easily are people scammed and reasons?

Many individuals think of the internet as a get rich quick scheme and once they are exposed to any form of investment promising high ROI, witjout a second taught they jump onto it, you and I as well know how this will end? In a nutshell, GREEDis a factor

Secondly the inability to conduct research and make real findings on our own, Laziness

Add yours!!
There are big lessons to learn about the internet and there is no way to stop innocent people from falling into internet traps until they learn themselves, i have my own principles and i believe that nothing comes easily in this world, when people are been given offer that are too good to be true they never think about where the money is coming from, the greed won't make them think
654  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Buy a car with bitcoin cash on: October 23, 2019, 09:03:09 AM
I have checked online and I was surprised to see new post about websites accepting cryptocurrency to pay for electronic items, appliance and others. But what caught my attention is this website https://www.autocoincars.com/. In their website it says they are selling cars and accepts bitcoin cash .

I want to qoute a line from their website "Buy and Sell Cars with Bitcoin and crypto currency. Lamborghini, Ferrari, Porsche, BMW, Mercedes, Classic Cars, Audi, Aston Martin, Lotus".  Their line said they are accepting bitcoin but they are actually accepting bitcoin cash and not bitcoin itself.

I have checked the price but man I cannot afford it. But I do not find  some reviews about their services so I cannot yet give some info how legit they are.
Either ways you can literally buy anything with crypto, i have bought three smartphone with coins and tokens, i bought myself a motorcycle, clothes, gaming console etc this year and i made the money from crypto, who says digital currencies are useless?
655  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: My Selection of coins, your thoughts? on: October 22, 2019, 11:42:53 AM
Hi All,

i have been buying a little crypto since Sept 2017, not much but some.

I have invested in the following coins and was curious to know what you guys think of my portfolio? Can i get rid of some coins or add?

1) BTC
2) NEO
3) WAVES
4) VET
5) LINK
6) ETN
7) KCS
Cool UTK
9) DAG
10) XBY
11) REBL

Appreciate your responses.

I think you should consider litecoin, bitcoincash, ethereum, binance token, a portfolio without these coins is incomplete , they are better than those on your list excluding bitcoin and vet, but i find few new coins to be better too, celer network and harmony i mean
656  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I talk about market problems? on: October 22, 2019, 11:39:24 AM
I just want to know, about market issues.
1. Reasons that make you survive or still believe in this market?
2. Is this what is called a market cycle, I mean back to the time before bitcoin reached the highest price in 2017? or maybe like 2014, 2015 or 2016? because I'm not there yet.
3. Why has the recent rise in bitcoin prices not affected the market situation for the better or had an impact on the rise in altcoin prices?
4. In your opinion how to overcome the market situation so that it can be stable again?
Its simply nothing but market cycle, everything in crypto space is seasonal, there are good time and bad times but they both have advantages, do not rely on when bullrun comes around, there are ways to make money in bear market as well
657  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: IEO not forced you to hold their token on: October 21, 2019, 04:01:24 PM
I know binance is the most popular exchange, but binance and other exchanges such as okex, huobi, ...and  others forced you to hold their token to participate in IEO, so i list exchanges do not forced you to buy token.
What you think about this exchanges, do you suggest it?
If you do not suggest it, or think it is not good let me know the reason?

lattoken
probit
lbank
p2pb2b
coineal
vindax
exmarket
Finexbox
Sistemkoin

This what i know, you also can add exchange not forced you to buy token not listed here.
Some of this exchanges i use it, and some of it i did not.

No matter what i am sticking with binance exchange because they do better than every other exchanges and the list of exchange you have here are mostly worst exchanges,p2pb2b,coineal,vindax, latoken are all worse and its safer to stay away at all cost
658  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: how to avoid fraudulent projects? on: October 21, 2019, 03:54:10 PM
I think there is still a way to overcome the problem of scamers in this crypto room (but I'm not saying to eliminate it completely). . This might not have a big effect but at least it can reduce some of the fraud projects that exist in this industry. . like avoiding and not promoting suspicious projects repeatedly. .
I have always observed that many of them and even have high ratings but still support suspicious projects, especially participants (social media).
maybe this is one reason why many fraud projects are increasingly rampant, because someone always gives hope to them and makes someone trapped in it.

so what do you think?
I draw the conclusion above based on what I saw there.
Low rated projects most time turns scam as well, its not about the ratings because good projects can get low or high rating, it doesn't matter cos even bad projects pay rating websites to get good rating, i think the solution is doing research yourself
659  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: To bounty hunters & investors on: October 18, 2019, 10:19:09 AM
Its simple arithmetic that people don't want to understand, lesser new projects are the legit ones from serious developers, if you have this at the back of your mind every not well planned will start revealing themselves to you through researches, many projects are scam for  sure and lesser ones are real so its not a must to promote every single new projects
660  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ALTCOIN IS IN LINE WITH THE HISTORICAL EVOLUTION OF PAYMENT SYSTEM on: October 18, 2019, 10:13:54 AM
Time is what this technology needs, whatever we are experiencing right now is just normal challenges and trials and i am sure it will be over soon, altcoins need to hang in there and once this period did the most a big changes will take place..
