641  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Europa League 2023/24 Season on: October 17, 2023, 12:09:30 PM
@asriloni I’m actually very surprised that Klopp is focusing on winning this competition but I strongly feel that at some stage he’ll stop focusing on the Europa League because he has an excellent chance to win the premier league title. Furthermore if possible I would like to see West Ham vs Liverpool in the finals because West Ham are playing exceptionally well in this competition and can give Liverpool a hard time if they come face to face in this competition.
It's not make sense, there are still 30 weeks in Premier League, even Liverpool is in top 1 position, there's no guarantee they will able to maintain their position until end of the league. Liverpool should focus in Europa League, so they have an opportunity to secure 2 trophies, as long as Sevilla not relegated from Champions League, the possibility to become a champion is still high.
642  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2023/24 Season on: October 17, 2023, 11:34:31 AM
@Davian144 when you’re a big club like Manchester City you need to have player’s who can step up and at City it seems that their player’s are not stepping up because these are opportunities for others to secure a starting 11 spot for themselves. Lastly I believe Pep would have done solid analysis by now and will come up with a better tactical plan hence it’s unwise to underestimate City even in the absence of De Bruyne.
Manchester City until now played without De Bruyne and they can still achieve 3rd position in Premier League and won 2 matches in Champions League. They're already been great so far, even though De Bruyne is currently a Manchester City's heart.

De Bruyne will also get older, it's just a part of regeneration and Manchester City seems quite success since they're still in good form.
643  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2023/2024 on: October 17, 2023, 11:17:04 AM
Manchester City is currently experiencing difficulty in winning games, having absolutely everything to bother about this season. Perhaps it's just a temporary condition, which means they will definitely bounce back to winning ways. I'm still surprised to see Manchester City to crumbled this season, I thought they're untouchable but with the current situation on ground, they're just as any other ordinary club in EPL. Injuries affects all clubs in EPL and Manchester City have started suffering from it. Pep Guardiola have missed points on important games this season, they're currently sitting third position on the table.
Player who injured is definitely will affect the result since the substitute player isn't as good as the main line up, I only talk about the skill while chemistry, strategy etc also give a big effect to other players. Not many teams have a balance main line up and substitute player, I think only Brighton have this, whoever who play, the result will not be different.

If you store a wallet with little to no balance in a place where most thieves typically search for valuable items, they are likely to leave your house content, thinking they've found something of value.
Imagine if I were the thief.

Hey look someone in this house is a Bitcoin enthusiast since he have Electrum in his device or own a hardware wallet, when I check the wallet, there's no balance. Do you think the thief will think you clearly don't have any coins? nope, they will think you store or hide it somewhere.

If the thief left your house, case closed. But what if they point your head with their gun and force you to tell where all of your coins?
645  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I was ripped off on: October 17, 2023, 04:25:46 AM
Bitcoin transactions are irreversible so you sent your bitcoins, it means you lost it forever if sender won't send it back to you. Scammers surely don't send your bitcoins back to you.
Bitcoin is irreversible when it's already has at least a confirmation (read this thread for more), if the transaction not yet confirmed, the @OP can reverse the transaction since he's the sender.

Quote
I don't know how you was scammed but in a peer to peer trade, if you don't receive your payment, don't release (send) your bitcoin to your trade partner. You go first, you lose your bitcoin.

Use Escrow service can keep you safe.
@OP is the sender, not the receiver.

The trade is happen in real life, which person you can trust? there are so many scammers in real life regardless their reputation or titles, even a police can be bribed to scam.
646  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The Drake's Curse. on: October 16, 2023, 11:36:23 AM
Now, the big question is this.... Is Drake being funded by Stake.com to make these huge bets, because he is an affiliate and a brand ambassador for Stake.com.  Huh
To be honest I don't really care whether he get sponsored by Stake or not because it's a part of marketing strategy. Other casinos even do "more" than Stake, they don't mind to lying as long as they can attract people to gamble. Like showing if there's no lose in their casino and when you suffer lose, it means you need to deposit more money etc.

Has Drake even won one single bet he has made on Stake?
Yes, there's Grin

647  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: October 16, 2023, 11:25:00 AM
I wonder why he should apologize if he feels that he is right? Judging by how crappy United are playing and what shape the players are in (by the way, there was also a leak that an internal investigation was carried out at United regarding a large number of injuries), there should be questions not only for Sancho. If the head coach allowed all these problems to become so critical and deep, then he himself is to blame.
People are judge someone based on their title, since Sancho is a player which is someone who trained by Ten Hag, people think if Sancho is wrong since Ten Hag is more superior than Sancho. If the conflict is between Ten Hag and the Glazer, people will blame Ten Hag and so on.

If Sancho feels that he's right, he should leave Manchester United in the next transfer window since there's nothing he can get there.
648  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Best way to get paid in BTC if you are a weed-shop owner? on: October 16, 2023, 07:12:26 AM
There are two payment processors: self hosted and hosted. Self hosted you need to learn and put more effort since you're need to start from scratch, while hosted payment processor is easy to use, but the drawback is privacy and extra fee.

For self hosted I'd recommend Bitcart since this payment processor is accepting various coins and network, while for the hosted one you can choose coinpayments.

For the other alternative, check here Bitcoin Payment processors
649  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin's Fourth Halving Under 200 Days Out, What's at Stake for Miners? on: October 16, 2023, 05:53:03 AM
The miner will receive less reward in terms of solving the Bitcoin block, but it's not affect the reward of verifying a transaction since it depends on how much people are going to pay the fees. If it's not worth to solving the block, they can still able to earn through verifying a transaction or the other way around.

Not every miner will survive when the difficulty and electricity will rise, this is why "The Only Easy Day Was Yesterday".
650  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: 500.casino csgo500.com $1,500 was confiscated for no reason on: October 16, 2023, 04:21:58 AM
Since UserU already replied in this thread and he said you broke their rules, so you deserve your funds get confiscated by the casino.

In the another thread you opened before, I already predicted it before.

If you think you can get back the money after pressuring them, then you're wrong since no one will trust your words.

In addition what PokerPlayer said, this is the UserU account https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=1452494

You just need to wait, I believe UserU will confirm what's happening here, either you're liar or they mistakenly accuse your account. But I smell you're the liar because there are more scammers than the legit user.
651  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How often is your luck in gambling? on: October 14, 2023, 11:52:13 AM
Gambling isn't a career except you're have very high knowledge in poker, you're the casino staff or you're the house.

Since I'm just an Average Joe in gambling and I don't have a dream to become a high skilled gambler, I'm not view gambling as a carrier. Similar like you playing Dota 2 solo or party, regardless the rank you can reach, are you able to become a pro player?
652  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: October 14, 2023, 11:41:26 AM
I think better stay with Brighton Albion and he get more minutes playing than joins with Manchester City or United because will get difficult with regular position there. In Brighton Albion he has more minutes playing on every match, he can shows his skill than have to be on the bench when joining with top teams such as Manchester City or Manchester United who has top attacking line. Moves to bigger teams not get guarantee with more minutes player or regular position, I think Kaoru Mitoma better stay with Brighton Albion for one or two years later until has consistency performance and get guarantee as regular player when joining with City or United. Many Japan's players loss their position when moving to bigger team such as Takumi Minamino and Wataru Endō with Liverpool.
Manchester United don't have a good attacking line, only Hojlund is good and he play in center forward position. Mitoma is a left winger, unfortunately Rashford is a left winger too, Ten Hag will not replace him because he know Rashford has a big name and he will get criticized to replace with Mitoma.

But I agree with you he will become a substitute player in Manchester City because every players in this team is top tier.
653  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2023/24 Season on: October 14, 2023, 11:37:05 AM
Group A is not as easy as we have suggested it to be, alot of things blowing out of proportion this season, watching shocking results. Bayern Munich and Galatasaray are the opportune teams that would make it to the next round from UCL group A because the Red Devils are reluctant in performance, having zero contributions, currently without any points. Manchester United have hoped to qualify this season, all Erik Ten Hag need is for the Red Devils to thrashed Copenhagen in their next game, that's the solid points that would boost the performance of Manchester United.
Nope, Group A is still easy, the reason why you think Group A isn't easy because you want Manchester United to qualify to the next round. Right now Manchester United's performance turn really bad, poorer than Galatasaray.

If you want to see a tough group, it's Group F which consist of: Milan, PSG, Newcastle and Dortmund.
654  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why do you not gamble on women sports? (tennis not included) on: October 14, 2023, 10:21:40 AM
Bet on women sports is better when you're a risk taker because there's a higher chance an underdog able to win.

But I'm not want to bet on a match where I don't watch and familiar with the team, so I choose to bet on male sports. I want to enjoy the match too, not necessary to win and earn money through gambling.
655  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Ferrari introduced BTC payment option for their cars on: October 14, 2023, 09:19:04 AM
Bitcoin price is still hovering around $26,8K~ ish, where's the pump? Roll Eyes lol.

That’s a great news to be honest. Now due to bitpay, those who have some savings in the form of Bitcoins can use it to purchase the legendary car Ferrari. But I have a doubt that, as the amount will be big, so they won’t ask for verification etc? Will follow this news to check who are the persons who will spend the Bitcoins to buy these cars. It will be easier for them to implement this in European countries, but for Asian countries it will be really tough.
Doesn't matter whether you're only trade small amount or big amount of money, as long as the merchant is using Bitpay, you as a customer will need to perform KYC. Bitpay is a hosted payment processor, not self hosted payment processor e.g. BTCPay where you don't need to fulfill KYC. But I believe a big company like Ferrari was already get pressured by the government to follow the regulation.

10. BitPay ID

BitPay is required by applicable laws and regulations to collect certain information about Shoppers for transactions and refunds over a certain size and, in some regions, for any transaction. This Shopper verification process is called BitPay ID. You can create a BitPay ID at any time. BitPay ID is subject to its own Terms of Use, available here: bitpay.com/legal/terms-of-use. Information on BitPay ID is available in our FAQs: support.bitpay.com/hc/en-us/articles/360037486651-How-do-I-complete-the-BitPay-ID-process-.
656  Other / Meta / Re: Is it right idea to update old guides? on: October 14, 2023, 08:59:24 AM
But, mostly guide titled threads are read and searched by newbies, how they will know that there is an updated thread in the bottom of the main thread?
And i will post all updated threads in archival board because no one visit there, if no one will look at them how it will looks spam posts? many users try to improve there skills there like designing signatures, writing articles, etc. I want to know when I will upload the updates threads with same title in archival board then they will be seen in the search results with original threads or not?
It was my personal preference, I'm not going to debate which one is better because both of the choice seems be fine since the moderator didn't delete or lock the new created thread.

Why you need to post it in archival section? but that's depend on your choice.

If your purpose of updating the new thread for yourself, then you can post in archival board or keep it by yourself. If you want to make everyone know, then post it in appropriate section.
657  Other / Meta / Re: Is it right idea to update old guides? on: October 14, 2023, 08:49:01 AM
updating and uploading/posting all guide in one thread, post after post will show in search results? or I need to start a new thread for every guide/article?
Or any other good idea to make things easier and non confusing for users? like just search the half title and will show both guides original and image updated.
It's up to you, someone did this and he created a new thread with a same title by posting the original source in the headline Re: [Eng: Tutorial] PGP Signature - Encrypt/Decrypt message - Fingerprint

But I personally choose to post it in the original thread instead of creating a new thread (if the thread isn't locked), in order to not look as spam.
658  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The difference between bitcoin and cryptocurrency. on: October 13, 2023, 02:55:15 PM
It's simple, Bitcoin is one of cryptocurrency while cryptocurrency is a name of general currency that using cryptography. There's no coin has a name "cryptocurrency", you can check it by yourself.

Bitcoin is decentralized and don't need a third party to help carry out transactions and it is a store of value
Unfortunately most people use Bitcoin through third party e.g. centralized exchange, but it's not mean Bitcoin was failed. Not many people really know the real usage and purpose of Bitcoin is.
659  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Best Practices for Staying Safe When Gambling on: October 13, 2023, 01:20:21 PM
I do say it that the best practice to first think of doing when gambling is on risk management, we should be able to use the amount of money we won't regret using for betting while gambling, we should make fun out of gambling and not frustration, we should not get addicted or have an incordinate gambling experience, when we by ourselves creates a modest gambling experience, we will have the best from it because everything we do will also come with the satisfaction that we want from it.
Unfortunately low middle class people can't accept that and always think gambling is a side income, most of gamblers are low middle class, it's pitiful to see people don't aware the risk of gambling. Those low middle class people are just repeating their circle, start form working until they get monthly wage, then they will use all of their money to gamble. After they lose all of their money, they will take a loan to buy foods.
660  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin vs Precious Metals - the final verdict is in. on: October 13, 2023, 01:11:50 PM
This statement is so true, only few even almost no one could get rich buy buying gold or other precious metal. But, I Bitcoin and Gold has different usage. For speculator and people who seek for profit and their main goal for buying assets is speculating on the price and get profit from it, then Bitcoin beat gold in many ways, but just like any other investment, high profit also means high risk, so for people who seek for stability and reliability for their assets, Gold is definitely more suitable than Bitcoin.
Gold is definitely for store a value, but actually Bitcoin is relatively stable and can be used as store a value too. If people seek for high volatility and speculate asset, isn't altcoins is better since it's full of pump and dump.

Bitcoin could be more safer than gold because it's more flexible, it will not lose as long as you have the private key and you can access your coins in anywhere.
