I am the lead developer of a well established and well running pure POS coin. (UniversityCoin)

We have seen a die off of investor and community interest due to the fact that we don't have the ability to put out upgrades and featuers on a regular basis.

I have many ideas for our coin to implement wonderful features for the community, but I have a background in marketing and not development.

I would like to start with updating our wallet client and then moving on to other features that I can discuss via email, or on IRC.

We have quite a bit of the currency in our posession to divy out to new developers.

Thanks for the add to the voting list. It will take a very long time to gain initial connections to the network because I believe in addition to my 3 servers running the client, we may have about 3 others or so. We are planning a huge relaunch (With new development announcements).

I have a roadmap planned that will be announced when I can fill the capable devs of helping me accomplish it.

At this point our lead dev is still learning and working on the iOS 8 App and the Android app.

Though I wish to implement more features such as Email Funds Transfers, an Updated Client, and a build in exchange. I really want to implement a betting platform for College NCAA sports but we will see.

I REALLY NEED Developer referrals. I will be actively seeking new developers on all formus and if you want to see this coin comeback please help as well.

I'm excited to see this coin's growth! I would see a healthy target of around 10k to be in the same realm of Litecoin by comparison. Due to the active development we will absolutely see it surge past if the developer stays in tune with the community. It's a rare occurence that the developer only works on what the community wants in a coin.

We are currently working on coding the iphone and android apps but that will be a lengthy process.

Fall is when the classes start for the universities that will be including our currency in their curriculum.

I'm just a bit peeved because the latest and greatest scam coins get more glory than our legitimate project...

Miraged, if you have any insight on what we could be doing we would love to get an email from you. We are also looking for more help on our team as well.

I understand that most of you have lost hope after poloniex delisted us, however, we weren't sustaining so well on two exchanges and now we consolidated and are better off.

With the upcoming meetings that I have with a few colleges in Minnesota we have a good change of becoming an educational tool for students to get immersed in Bitcoin and UVC.

We could see a huge surge if we could get a couple of app designers to get working on an iOS app for us as well as the android variant.

Right now our Dev team is focusing solely on a enhanced block explorer and a design overhaul for our new marketing push to Universities.

I will soon announce our bounty for new UVC Ambassadors as well.

We need to rekindle the fire for UVC that we had during launch time!

Unless the original dev team is giving up then I don't think a community takeover would help... Speaking from experience.
