641  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: When will Bitcoin catch up with Gold in capitalization? on: February 24, 2024, 06:52:56 PM
At the present circumstances I don't think Bitcoin will breach the gold capitalization and to be honest it doesn't have to breach gold capitalization because the reason for invention of Bitcoin was to be used as a decentralized P2P transfer without third party involvement but now everyone are using it as an investment medium so it doesn't make sense comparing Bitcoin with gold and I would say we cannot compare gold with any other asset as gold has been used for centuries and will continue to be used and hold significant market share. Yes Bitcoin can cross capitalization of big orgs easily.
642  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Reddit has invested in crypto: the beginning of a new crypto wave? on: February 24, 2024, 05:58:48 PM
1. It doesn't surprise me even 1% about Reddit's crypto investment because this is expected from multiple mainstream players but it's just the most of them don't make it public as it might put them into unnecessary spot light of regulators.

2. Yes, most of the private companies are holding undisclosed crypto and the reason for keeping it undisclosed is partly explained in my first point as they want to keep it private to avoid legal or regulatory troubles.

3. No it's temporarily beneficial for crypto market because if they hold such a huge amount they can easily manipulate the market by playing around with demand and supply.
643  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What can I do to be successful in trading with my small capital on: February 24, 2024, 10:01:47 AM
Mate, I would say take a pass for trading that too with small capital because first of all you need to learn a lot for trading like learn about reading the charts and using technical indicators even if you know all these there are chances of losing in trading as it's not a guaranteed returns. Try accumulating more funds and simultaneously try learning more about trading as there are a lot of information available in open sources like YouTube but don't go with it blindly as you need to backtest the data based on strategy to know which one works and once you have figured it out then you may start trading gradually.
644  Economy / Economics / Re: The increase of dollar affecting underdeveloped countries economy on: February 24, 2024, 09:13:02 AM
It's rather the depreciating local currencies of underdeveloped nations which causes the problem and that's why when you travel to those countries you have more buying power than the locals and I have a clear understand how it affects them and it impact every single person because trades happen in USD for export and import. For example the price of oil and gas will be increased in terms of local currency which affects the transportation cost within the country including food grains, building material and everything as these stuffs has to be transported across the country, also the same goes for international airlines the cost of tickets will be increased as they are calculated in terms of USD then converted into national currency.
645  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Next 100x? on: February 24, 2024, 08:25:00 AM
Suggest any under the radar coins which will go big soon.

My suggestion is XRD, Radix

I will make two suggestions for you, the first is to go the the list of the top rated cryptocurrencies on coinmarketcap and select any of you choice, secondly, if you can make research on any of the available new crypto projects introduced, you can have an investment on any you find is more convincing to take your risk ion their investment, but first consider the risk involved on making investment on new projects, some may be successful and some may not.

I second your opinion as it would be more secure to go with the top crypto coins which reduces the risk factor as atleast one might not be losing huge amount but it might not have the potential to give 100x profits or even 10x profits. I would say the news coins may profit the kind of profit you are expecting but only few of them will succeed. We need to ensure we don't end up buying any random coins due to FOMO like some of us do during bullrun. I would say lets stick to basics and prepare an strategy for occasionally short term investment in new coins with stop loss in place.
646  Economy / Economics / Re: If being a graduate is the key to being wealthy, why are there poor graduates? on: February 24, 2024, 06:30:34 AM
We need to understand one thing that graduate degree doesn't automatically qualifies you for job and it's actually skills which makes one qualify for the job and I wouldn't like to share the examples Steve Jobs or Mark Zuckerberg as even though they couldn't complete the education still they being successful but if you look at job post shared by these people for their organisation you will find they prefer graduates and
647  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: STRK(Starknet) Token Speculation on: February 23, 2024, 09:00:09 PM
Currently it's trading around $1.9 and wouldn't be a wise decision to buy at this moment and I agree with what OP has said we can take entry at much lesser price and we have seen it touching $7 on the day of launch at Binance and then it dropped but I would say this is a general flow which happens to any project listed in Binance and there has been a selling pressure a well. Let's wait for it to drop a bit further.
648  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: A little ignorance and you can lose all your holdings on: February 23, 2024, 08:34:20 PM
It's high time we need to secure our holding and understand the risk in exposing our data or seed phrase or even clicking on the so called airdrop links or even connecting our wallet to random link shared in telegram groups as there are numerous way we can be scammed but if we stick to basics of securing our data and sensitive information then no one can scan us. Unfortunately the person mentioned in OP has learnt his lesson the hard way.
649  Other / Politics & Society / Re: The 6-year-old girl murdered by Biden and Netanyahu on: February 23, 2024, 07:30:49 PM
There are thousands of such 6 years old or even younger who has been killed in this war and the previous one, I would say it's a genocide approved by the western leaders and even arab leaders I would say and I feel bad about people of Palestine as they are left alone to defend themselves against one of the most powerful army force. As we have seen in the past every tyranny will come to an end and tyrants will often meet the same fate. Just hoping not only for peace to prevail but also for justice to be served.

Unfortunately at the moment we cannot do much as a common person though we know who's wrong and right but since these power hungry leaders controls everything they will play as per their benefit.
650  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Utility above Hype on: February 23, 2024, 07:08:45 PM
People here are bit fed up of meme coins popping up every other day hence you may expect users to be little rude as most of us have witnessed how other meme projects end up. I would appreciate we get real project unique feature and domains because most of the meme coins are same and even the features you have mentioned in the op are pretty common in the market. Try to understand you will be able to sell your project only by catering to the need of the hour and by resolving a burning issue or bridging a gap between problem and solutions.
651  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Btc and people knowledge on: February 23, 2024, 06:14:53 PM
That's the kind of ignorance we live in I mean most of the don't know how reserve banks can print money and how does it holds the value, they just believe in it because it's issued by the government and it can be exchanged for goods or services hence people trust fiat though it's not back by anything. On contrary to this people have doubts like how can they trust Bitcoin just because and what is it backed by because it's not issued by the government. Even those who have invested into Bitcoin won't have much knowledge about Bitcoin as they are using it just as an investment medium. In short people have no knowledge on both fiat as well as Bitcoin.
652  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is the Bull Charging or Just Warming Up Post-Halving? on: February 23, 2024, 05:48:50 PM
From my past bull run experience I can say that we are just warming up as there may be some correction as well before we go fully into bull run and the bull run won't be this gradual as we will see bitcoin pumping up real quick and all the other altcoins will follow the trend but we can make use of this rally which we have seen since past 3 months but cannot consider it as bull run. It would be even bigger this time as the market is more mature and we have more investors as well.
653  Economy / Speculation / Re: Going against the grain. on: February 22, 2024, 07:58:02 PM
The price of Bitcoin is $48,100 and if we bought BTC at $39,000 and sold it now, we already make some money out of it. I know some people are doing this, selling 50% and securing the profit, and waiting for the correction for reinvestment. May not be a practice my most but this is actually what I'm doing. Taking the chance to earn some while waiting for the ATH is a smart decision. Doing this strategy is possibly more profitable than just holding for several months and selling them when ATH arrives. Just imagine if we could make $3-5 a month, that was a lump sum of money in 12 months.

Yes, that's something every smart investor or trader would apt for. Especially those who knows the market in and out because we are all aware there would be a correction period after every pump where we can reinvest. I have adopted similar thing wherein I have been doing DCA on one hand and now I have allocated a separate fund for these quick trades wherein I sell when the market dumps by more than 3% after good pump and similarly when it dips I buy back and will continue to do this till the bull run starts.
654  Local / India / Re: Suggestion! Access Banned International Exchanges with VPNs that Accepts Crypto. on: February 22, 2024, 07:22:20 PM
Highly appreciate the fact that you have taken some time out to research, consolidate and share this for benefit of the community but yes it would be risky at one point because Indian agencies are too smart and the major challenge will be justifying about the amount which we would be withdrawing to our bank account. But if trading is someone's main source of income they might have to take this risk in order for their survival or move to a more crypto friendly nations if they have got enough funds. But, how long we will be running away and what if other countries adapt similar stances? I think we don't have much option as either continue trading with these VPNs and exchanges or else invest and leave it for a while expecting the government to reverse it's decision.
655  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Corruption enlarges when politicians uses the citizens for disruptive tools. on: February 22, 2024, 06:42:37 PM
True, this happens globally but using different tactics and I would say you should look at the situation in countries like India, Pakistan and Bangladesh you will find divisive politics is used as a tool to consolidate and gain the votes from majority of population by portraying that people will be in danger if these politicians are not voted to power, using religion, sect and tribes by brainwashing them and creating sense of fear. The same crowd which supports or votes them starts protesting if these politicians are arrested in corruption or even rape cases as we have seen rapists and murderers being garlanded or even made ministers.

Unfortunately, best educated people falls for this trap because that's what they have been taught (hatred for other sects, religions apart from their own) while growing up as it's happening from decades.
656  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Remarkably, how would you rate your past AltCoins price and now? on: February 22, 2024, 05:51:43 PM
There are multiple experiences but the best and most profitable one was with XRP, I think it was back in 2017 when I bought ripple for few cents like 10 cents or so and that's the time it went bullish and crossed $3 and I sold it for over 30x profit. But, it's the coins which I would never ever invest as they have failed their investors and also they are the most centralized coin without any supply limit hence there is no future in XRP but that's the coin which gave me one of the biggest profits.
657  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Spot Trading vs Futures Trading on: February 22, 2024, 05:30:09 PM
The major difference between spot and futures trading are listed below:

Spot Trading: It's less riskier and your funds will not liquidated so easily in spot trading unless the coins is highly manipulative but at the same time you may expect profit but not huge profits like doubling your portfolio in a day like you get chance to do in futures trading.

Futures Trading: Highly risky and it can either make you or break you as there are chances of multiple your portfolio within a day or with just one lucky/bulls eye trade and it can also liquidate your funds in few seconds if the market goes against your bet. Even coins like Bitcoin and ETH are not safe for futures trading and people usually end up losing due to higher leverages.

There are sites like coinmarketcap and coingecko which will give you the details on liquidity of the coins. I would say stick to Bitcoin or ETH in Spot trading or DCA  and don't experiment with futures trading.
658  Economy / Economics / Re: DEVELOPMENT CHALLENGES AND SOLUTIONS on: February 22, 2024, 05:04:29 PM
We cannot use the USD as an index to calculate poverty, if you have been to any central Asian nations or countries like Iran you get to know that things are very much affordable if you compare it with USD but rather it should be measured in their own average income in their local currency and take a baseline to define below poverty line index because in some nation if you own a house then $10 per day would be a good income wherein in some developed nation you will hardly get a sandwich or coffee at a decent restaurant barring the likes of McDonalds.

Regardless of whichever currency used to measure we can eradicate poverty by providing basics to have a dignified life like government should ensure everyone has shelter and work towards creating jobs which will help them to lead a dignified life. More welfare related policies should be launched as you cannot resolve poverty just by paying them rather creating a source for their livelihood by creating jobs.
659  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: The best new cryptocurrencies to buy in 2024? on: February 22, 2024, 02:28:42 PM
While I appreciate you effort in doing research and collating the list of promising projects for the forum users but I think we need to do our own research and need not to rush with huge investments at the moment because we never know which coin will rally since all of these are new and TBH I haven't heard of them as may be I am too occupied with the established coins or only those new coins which are getting attention due to their listing in top tier exchanges. We cannot predict which coins can pump because in the previous bull run we have seen even shit coins pumping up and good projects taking time, and those pumped up shit coins drops dead post bull run hence let's invest based on the technical aspect and the service which it has to offer.
660  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How many times we will make the same mistake? - History repeats Again & Again! on: February 22, 2024, 02:13:52 PM
I have a slightly different opinion on real estate as it's not a guaranteed return as it depends on a lot of factors and I have seen some plots being idle from decades and useless so real estate is bit complicated one needs to do proper research before investing into it so 10x or 15x is not an easy feet to achieve. But agreed with gold as it has gained little over 2x in a decade. The problem lies with our mindset is that we expect quick profit or we are too carried away during the bear market we end up selling everything. I think we need to earn form mistake and give a chance to Bitcoin but the kind of prediction you have made about a whopping 8 digit seemed to be exaggerated for me but I may be wrong and short sighted.
