Erik Ten Hag tenure have surpassed two seasons and we are yet to noticed any changes in the Red Devils. We are watching the exact same Old Trafford playing football again and again, with absolutely no new pattern. The only change observed are the players but things will fall in place in due time for Erik Ten Hag who's also not relenting as he concentrates completely on a new team. The only mistake committed by Erik is making inappropriate signings and also having issues with players, which is regarded as a very bad behavior as headcoach.

It hasn’t surpassed two season, this season is his second season but definitely he needs to be getting results far better what United have been able to achieve so far. Last season he went all the way in the four competitions he was involved in and won 1 and went to the knockout stages of 2 and then finish third in the league which was considered a success considering Manchester recent performances. This transfer window I would say I expected Erik Ten Hag to have gotten some better players to add to his squad but he didn’t, something that I wouldn’t want to blame him for but the management. The Glazers have always been a major problem to this Manchester United club since they bought it, they even got worse when Sir Alex left and this can be seeing by them rejecting a clear sale after a potential buyer bid an amount almost 2x the worth of the club’s valuation and they opted for a serial business partnership.

As for Ten Hag having issues with his players, definitely there is no manger that doesn’t have a problem with certain players regarding most especially the biggest ones in the squad. The problem with him is how he ousted them from the squad which in some way wasn’t professional but was certainly needed if he actually wants to control the dressing room

It's not like I wanted to undermine Dortmund at all but I feel that Dortmund also needs to step up their consistency to a level at which Bayern are in. And Dortmund do need strong players to get that consistency. With players moving out or being sold they are relying on fresh faces and experience with which I feel chances are very low to win a title. Even if they do I would say they are lucky to win the title.

With the way Bayern Munich are structured definitely I will agree with you that it will take a bit of luck to get Dortmund to win the title. Last season was their golden opportunity to at least end the yearly dominance and stop the streak Bayern Munich were on and as usual they lack the ability to withstand that pressure just on the last day of the league. If you look properly the league is usually won when you have a very strong and large squad and Dortmund last season had that squad. Although they fell short of winning last season my thought is they will regroup and comeback stronger by adding more players this season but they even ended up letting some of their key players leave, some like Guirreiro to even your biggest rival.

This period is seriously a time when other team will have to dethrone Bayern Munich because if look from last season they are having an internal problem in the team that spans beyond just players and managerial issues but rather a management problem which we saw a very chunk change of directors. This kind of situation is what I want other teams to capitalize on and Only Bayer Leverkusen is doing that at the moment and I hope they go all the way to win it

Experience won't always work for you. If experience was always valued then players like Luka Modrić and Toni Kroos would not be sitting on the bench at Real Madrid.

De Gea has been Manchester United's goalkeeper for a long time so we have no doubt that he is a manager with plenty of experience but it remains to be seen how well Bayern Munich will get from him.

In the last season for Manchester United, we saw that he did not perform as expected, that's why Manchester United was forced to end the relationship with him this season.

As Bayan Munich needs a quality goalkeeper, De Gea may be ahead in terms of experience but may fall short in terms of performance.

Modric and Kroos are on the bench not because they can’t play but because they are old and Ancelloti this season is trying to integrate the young players into the team. In most of the matches you will see one of them start and the other comes on second half, this is how to use old players with great experience, exiling them totally from the team is bad because you still need leaders.

The Degea crisis is a bit messy, he wasn’t bad for Manchester United last season because he actually won the premier league golden glove. The problem was Ten Hag preferred a player that plays with his feet and we all know that is one area Degea wasn’t too good at. This same thing was actually one of the reasons both Bayern Munich and Real Madrid didn’t later go ahead to sign him. Manuel Nuer who is very good at his feet is coming back to the team and him and Degea are almost same age, so why have too veterans for one position and their wages are too much. This why Bayern Munich didn’t sign Degea

It would be nice to recall Zidane back to coach the club based on his previous performance for the team, i don't know if Madrid have included him yet as one of the options to replace Ancelotti but it would be nice to have him back cause he'll still make a difference in the team, however I don't think Zidane might be interested in coming back to coach his former team again cause he might be focused on wanting to coach the France national team, well theirs a speculation that he might be the next coach for Olympic Marseille however I feel it would be nice to see how another coach would perform at Realmadrid and Xabi Alonso is not also a bad option based on his performance at Leverkusen currently.

Well Xavi has done a great job for Barcelona since his arrival but I think he's not yet up to the standards of Zidane, he's only achieved the league trophy but Zidane made his mark as one of the most decorated coaches in Madrid and Laliga he won about 11 trophies including 3 champions league trophy during his time as the manager of Realmadrid.

Zidane will definitely be on Madrid radar to coach them, he is always the first person Perez looks at in any time of crisis and this time he will be certainly right at the top of that list. But personally I don’t think it is a good move for either of them both. First for Zidane it should worry him that not all second returns ends up well not to talk of a third one. Should he come and it didn’t play as planned then his legacy at the club might be dented just like Jose Mourinho’s legacy at Chelsea. Also on Madrid side they shouldn’t be hiring a manger that can’t do a fourth season with them, at every point Zidane usually leaves when the must have gel and takes Madrid back into searching again. This Kind of manager can not help in the future of the team because every four years he leaves.
Zidane big admiration has Lean towards leading his country’s nation team and with the news around him and the current FFF president it doesn’t look like he would replace Deschamp anytime soon.

My biggest prediction is that Xabi Alonso will give the team more dynamics and with him currently in charge of Bayern Leverkusen, because at there he has shown great potential to be a coach that can manage any situation well

I specially
I thought I am very late to start invest to Bitcoin, but many people said it is early. So.. I am really confused. I receive about $100 a month from my dad. I am planning to use them to buy some bitcoin.

Yes you are not that late to bitcoin because the potential growth of it is still at early stage even the mining of bitcoin will take time to complete. The estimated year for it to be completely mined is 2140. With this you will see that there is still time for it to grow in adoption and also in price.

Investing in bitcoin doesn’t requires large amount of money like other investments will require, you can invest as little as 10$ in it and continue to stack up. But one key factor in bitcoin investment is do not invest what you can’t afford to lose. From your story you don’t earn a living yourself and depend on your dad for stipends which seriously is not an amount you can afford to lose.

But if you are thinking of getting to save some money from this allowance then bitcoin offers a better advantage because it is an hedge against inflation and you will wouldn’t worry about it devaluation. But the thing is you have to make sure you’re saving for a very long time and wouldn’t panicly sale when the price is down because bitcoin is volatile.

The clubs in the SPL bid for Mohamed Salah came very late, the summer transfer window was already closing. The next transfer window will be a great opportunity for him to move to Saudi Arabia if he has an interest in the league. I think the Egyptian was to make some good money and also face new challenges. His family will also be comfortable with the Islamic society since they share the same beliefs as Saudis. The failure of Salah to extend his contract in Liverpool beyond next year means that the club will not make so much money from the transfer of the prolific striker. His performance has depreciated in recent times, so it might be the time to make more money for retirement

I don’t think even if the Saudi league had earlier bid for Salah that they will be to get him signed. Liverpool has made it clear me to anyone that Salah is an untouchable in the team. Liverpool suffered a huge drop of form last season when they sold out Mane and with Firmino leaving this transfer window, it will be unwise to sell of a leader like Salah. Salah stale contract discussion has always been a thing that regularly happens to players most especially Salah, he might not necessarily be requesting to leave but the rather be wanting an increase in his wages or maybe the contract duration is what is keeping him.

I would say now is not the time to fire Ten Hag. Because last season we saw ten Hag was able to stabilize the performance of the Manchester United team. The players of the team were very confident. And consistently they were able to win. But this season they are not doing well. I don't blame Ten Hag entirely for that. Several important players in Manchester United's squad are out of the squad due to injuries. And this is why United's performance has been so erratic. With these players back in the squad I believe United's performance will improve. However, if United's performances continue to be erratic after returning from injury, Manchester United management may be looking for a new coach.

I definitely share your thoughts with you, many people are just throwing the blame at Erik Ten Hag without having to give him a second thought. This United team has suffered so many bad injuries since the start of the season. The first one was to Kobbie Maino who Ten Hag wanted to play a double pivot with him and Casemiro but unfortunately the boy got injured during preseason. Also united back four have shipped in many goals on which the blame of this one had gone to the manager also for trusting the goalkeeper but people have failed to understand that the manager is yet to play is first choice back at the same time which actually has disrupted his plans.

This Ten Hag’s job is also not on the line because if you’re reading through sports media houses your see the resorts that the board are happy with him. Why won’t they be happy when he is generating revenue for them by guiding the club to a cup trophy triumph and also got them Back at the biggest club competition which is the UCL

Drake is beginning to get quite relevant in the world of gambling and with his continuous predictions not always favoring him I think one might actually be on the watch out for the type of games or sports he bets on and then go against his own predictions. This can be called double cross gambling  Grin

Seriously his curse is something else, could remember him betting on Barca to win last year’s el Classico and he ended losing. The other was him betting on Argentina to win the World Cup against France and the game went to penalties and Argentina won but Drake’s bet was for regular time

If Osimhen wanted to leave in the transfer market yesterday, I think he would have found a good club. but he chose to stay at a club that had just won a trophy. The change of coach and several names leaving clearly affected Napoli's game. The hope of all fans is to see Napoli perform like last season, but however there are several points that are different. they have to accept reality. and if Osimhen wants to leave the team, I think he still has good enough value to be able to join a big European club. he has quality.

Napoli are seriously not having a quite good season, they sit 5th on the table and 7 points behind the leaders Ac Milan I would say it is still early to count them out of the race but Serie A has proven in the past season that when you lose ground like this you’re bound not to win it.

I would relate their performance to the change of head coach, the arrival of Rudi Garcia has not help them as many players have fallen out with him and that has caused them the coordination they needed. Spalletti was loved and respected by his players and that transcended to the on field performance. The problem is the managerial change and not the players because there wasn’t much players that left the team last season. They kept almost similar players in the squad.

I don’t think the performance will affect Osihmen relevancy but definitely his price tag will be affected because the contract year is diminishing and that also adds to the players transfer value

Klopp doesn't only have great experience with Liverpool, he also has a lot of experiences with Mainz and Dortmund. He also succeed to win many trophies with Dortmund, it is the same as his success story in Liverpool. So, no doubt about the quality and experience of Klopp. I don't think Liverpool needs to hire a new coach with more experiences. Although Liverpool performance wasn't satisfying in the last season, it seems a bit different in the current season. They are now in the race of the EPL champion, they performed quite well so far. Because of this matter, I'm not sure if Liverpool management really wants to sack him. Anyway, where did you read the news, dude?

Klopp started at Mainz but his biggest achievement first came at Borussia Dortmund where he did a back to back league title in 2012 and 2013. He also went to the champions league final after piping Real Madrid in the semis and eventually lost to Rivals Bayern Munich in the final. His final season at Dortmund was actually very poor finishing seventh and a defeat in the DFP Pokal final. But nonetheless he really showed character which saw Liverpool appointed him.

Now to Liverpool I would say he is arguably one of there greatest Managers even if doesn’t win anything again. Liverpool were languishing in the middle of the table almost each season after their 2006 champions league win before he came to the club and has won everything needed to be won in the club including the only trophy missing which is the EPL.

He deserves to be given time during his bad days and that was what Liverpool did last season and it is repaying them. So I also agree that he won’t get sacked anytime soon except a big fallout happens or he decides to leave because their is few managers left that can match his record
652  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2023/2024 on: October 13, 2023, 06:50:29 PM
This current campaign comes with exciting actions from elite teams. Week 8 have gone, checking the relegation zone, there are teams that won't make it out alive because they will not be able to escape relegation zone. Bournemouth and Sheffield United will probably be relegated back to championship tournament because they're unable to meet the high competition in EPL. It's really a tough moment for these average clubs, but all hope seem to be lost because both teams are yet their first winning this season, though I don't blame them because EPL is a strong competitive league.

The drop zone is not looking good to be sincere, both Sheffield United and Bournemouth are struggling to win a single game. Although Sheffield United misery was actually kind of predicted to me because they were just coming, the other two teams are Burnley and Luton. Although I was expecting Luton to be last because of the depth of their squad. They probably have the weakest squad in the league but they have played well to be honest. The only thing lacking is they can not score goals and at the end of the day I don’t see them surviving the drop even though they are above the zone currently.

The next two relegation candidates that the battle for the last spot will be fought with is between Burnley and Bournemouth. Bournemouth survived the fall last season but it was evident with the way they have started this season that they will definitely need to do better to remain in the league and they are not doing that. Burnley on the other hand are showing signs of a team that love to hold the ball very much, against a team of your caliber you can do that and that’s why they almost went undefeated in the championship last season. But against premier league clubs, I don’t see Kompany’s men standing a chance. Even if This is there new identity I think the Kompany needs to twerk it a beat and learn how to sit deep and hurt some big clubs on counter.
653  Other / Meta / Re: Benefits of earning merits? on: October 13, 2023, 04:15:10 PM
Trying to understand the benefits of getting should not be your priority. Trying to make friends in an anonymous surrounding should be your goal. Unless you understand how to be a friend with those who can give you merits, you won't make any difference.

Am I the only one interpreting this in another direction? This particular statement that I bold is misleading in my opinion. Some people might think that merit is just circulating among the circle of friends which is not true. You don't need to make any personal friend before you can earn merits here in this forum. Although some times one will begin to doubt if it is truth to make merit without having connection simply because they think they have put enough effort and merits is not coming. If that is the case, we have various thread where you can report your posts for review and get merit if they are worthy.

Some members when they see probably a merit source or a another member gives out merit more often to another user they think they are close or have some familiarity. Yes the familiarity might come from how the user getting the merits post and the other member gets attracted to his post and nothing of a friendship. There are many users that haven’t got interaction with one another and they have received the most merit from them.

The best way to get merit to me is by staying constant pushing to contribute to the forum. You can as well learn how to make them by reading posts of prominent members that get them frequently.

Now I know one more reason: for getting paid more in signature campaigns.

This also is not a reason why it is here. The only two genuine reason is to use it to separate ranks, aside the activity issue. With merit it means you achieved that rank with your contribution to the forum. The other one is to discourage spammers and low quality posters, once people do not get merit for there posts they get frustrated and that reduces the number of spammers.
654  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why do you not gamble on women sports? (tennis not included) on: October 12, 2023, 09:17:10 PM
I do not know if this has been discussed before, but I want to know why most discussions on sports asides tennis is about the men's side of it and the women side is about only barely mentioned. Take football for example. Why is there low engagement in women sports from the side of viewers and even gamblers who are sports bettors? Is it not easier to win on gambling on women sports than men's sport? or is there no gambling site offering odds for betting on women sports?

The first is there are lack of engagements in women sports most especially In football. The women games in football that are mostly watched is the international games which are not frequent like the club games. In the club games you get to watch more. Also some of these clubs were created just three to four season ago like Manchester United and Real Madrid female team.

Your guess is since you’re certain that a particular club  will win, then there is no fun in that kind of betting. Also since there is a clear favorite the odds will very small and wouldn’t worth the risk. More os you as a man can only gamble on what you have vast knowledge about.

I saw your old posts and I will say you already know how to quote and add link to your post which is a good way to start. I will advice you go through the threads shared to you above especially the SMF help section to know what each icon mean. You would get most now but as you grow in the forum so will you get acquainted with some of this features.

To add an image is not hard all you need to do is to upload that image into https://talkimg.com/. After uploading then copy the link and come and paste here. You can actually edit the size by adding
Quote

Also one thing I do is I intentionally quote some members when I see new arrangements on their post to see the raw form it was before posting.

Also one thing is prioritize previewing your post before posting them

Yeah this absolutely strange because I haven’t seen or heard of cases too. One could have said it’s probably update issue but that’s not how it works. The only thing that’s came to my mind is maybe you were logged out and when in you just went to the P2P section straight up and that will not show other currency. Real Madrid president, Florentino Perez would gladly welcome Zidane back as manager since he constitutes a prominent and proficient person who is completely capable of leading the club to a higher level. However, Zidane has turned down all managerial positions presented to him for reasons best known to him. Zinedine Zidane is one of the successful managers who has led Real Madrid to triumph. It was a truly exceptional and unforgettable event for the former French footballer, who had already lifted major championships with the club.

Zidane actually came out to say he is happy having some time with his family and seems not likely to return to any managerial career soon but i decipher in this whole taking a rest thing is, Zidane seems not to be interested in managing any club again because if he is he would have gotten the job long time ago. There was the PSG job before it was given to Luis Enrique, the Chelsea job before it was handed over to Pochettino and also the Napoli job. All this signifies that he only wants a job with National team. France was his dream destination but it was cut off when the federation president said he can never be the manager. I don’t blame them because since Deshcamp took the managerial duty of the team they have been to three four finals in which two has been in the World Cup. So I don’t see a way back for ZIZO into the national team for now other than the France team getting knocked out of an international tournament.

As for Madrid they have a better second option who to me is perfect. The person is Bayern Leverkusen head coach Xabi Alonso. The former Madrid player has done exceptionally at Leverkusen and I will prefer him to the out of job Zidane.
658  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2023/24 Season on: October 11, 2023, 09:05:48 PM
The odds may be okay but we talk more of champions league experience before we consider the possibility the team has to even make it through the group stages.
Newcastle and PSG can make it out of their stage but in the finals, they don't stand a chance against Inter Milan because of experience and strategy.

Manchester united is going to Europa league, they had better get ready because the signs are glaring.

If we talk about Champions league experience then the two teams on top are supposed to be following each other at the bottom. Both PSG and Newcastle are the two clubs in that group with a limited experience than the other two. Newcastle have spent years before this qualification and PSG only recently stated to be regulars in the champions league since the Arab owner got the club.

The prediction for any of the game in this group is too tight to predict. Newcastle might have won the game against PSG but they turn off easily in the next match, although I am not predicting a Dortmund win at Saint James park but they will try to get a point from that match and build on it at the signal Iduna park.

i posted in merit thread because when i open the forum just show me this thread and i read all the people replies thats why i also one a reply to the thread i thought they are distributed merit but after replying i just read the rules of the thread so i keep quite.

Wow that was the first thing you saw after creating your account less than 10 minutes in? And how did you know what merit was for? Probably maybe through reading the rules you will say. Then I will say you can find your way to that rules thread to learn a thing about the forum. Also since you were able to navigate your way around to a merit board then try to check on the pined posts on this board it will guide you.

A piece of advice don’t chase em merits they will never come, just contribute to the forum by sharing your knowledge and also gain more knowledge if that’s truly why you’re here

I think this is still not seen because the beginning of the season until towards the end of the season last year Arsenal were also very good it's just that Arsenal's problem in the last few seasons has remained the same with them not really being able to make their consistency last for a season and last season was also like that.
The rise in their performance at the beginning of the season and mid-season was not accompanied by a good performance at the end of the season so it seems that the increase and decrease in their performance can happen quickly and no one can predict it.
If at the end of this season they are like that I think the management still hasn't changed but we still have to continue to wait whether something like this will happen or not.

Yes Arsenal had a very poor end to last season after starting well just like this season, many fans are still holding on to that excuse that they are not genuine contenders. I will also agree that we should wait till then but I will draw my conclusions from their performances so far. One thing Arteta needed to handle in the summer was to increase the squad with better players that can come in and change a game. Players like Rice and Timber were better signings to Cover in the midfield and defense. Last season this was what caused them the league, the Saliba injury and also Partey’s. This two accusations with that of Harvetz who is versatile will provide them much needed depth if the players are fit. Although they should have added a new striker too

I also noticed that Arsenal This season can actually defend a single goal lead to win a game. Last season they dropped points more when they were in winning position and that was what cost them the league. But this season I have seen them hold on to the win with just one goal deficit
