641  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Positivity is necessary in the cryptocurrency space on: February 10, 2019, 02:33:54 PM
The cryptocurrency space is faced with price volatility and most persons have been caught up with the bearish trend of the market. We never expected the bearish trend to last for this long, but we have little or nothing to do about the issue. Atimes, it feels like liquidating your portfolio and walking away from the frustration the market has left us, but that's not a good idea. One needs to be strong physically, emotionally and financially to cope with the pressure of the market. It's best to hold on for the bull run is near, let's be positive and don't fall victim of our rash decision. Don't give up yet.

Indeed, without positive attitude, you cannot continuing to stay in crypto world because the bear market.
Now the bear market has been lasting for long, forcing the weak peoples out of the crypto space.
Thing to remember is, always using your money in cryptocurrency when you can afford them to lose.
642  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: CryptoHopper Trading Bot on: February 10, 2019, 02:18:32 PM
Anyone here using Cryptophopper? I figured I'd start a thread.

I'm really liking it better than gunbot or any other trading bot. Pretty straight forward, almost a set it and forget it kind of thing. And, it can trade off telegram signals. So far I've had it for 5 days and I'm making about 2-10% daily with my current settings. Got it set up on Poloniex and Bittrex. They just added Binance support.

https://www.cryptohopper.com/?atid=324

If anyone wants my settings, DM me and I'll happily send them over if you use my referral link.

Is trading with bot can really profiting ? What if all of us are using bot to trading in the market ?
I guess no one will get the profit. Some pump and dump group often to outcome the trading boy by creating some pump and dump signals.
643  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum Update on: February 10, 2019, 02:07:49 PM

The most recent update about Ethereum is the upcoming Constantinople fork, which has been delayed.
I think until now, they still don't have an exact date for this fork when they will occurred.
Maybe this is the factor of the downtrend Ethereum price in the market.
644  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Progressing adoption on: February 09, 2019, 02:55:31 PM
Lately, I have not been hearing much about Bitcoin, other than media mentioning that the value is decreasing. In addition, the transaction volume processed by payment gateways is also decreasing. I feel that adoption has come close to a standstill. What is your opinion about this?
I think we should look at benefits of Bitcoin for merchants, to increase the active circulation. For example, bitcoin is a cheaper alternative to debit- and creditcards as merchants have to pay less interchange fees. Therefore we should contribute as a community by helping merchants to implement this system in their store. Merchants could possibly attract customers by giving discounts for paying with Bitcoin. What is your idea for progressing adoption of Bitcoin?

In this bearish market condition, we won't hear much about bitcoin in the media i guess.
The situation of the market can affect the news too. In 2017, there were many peoples come to crypto because cryptocurrency
was popular because the value of crypto coins were sky rocketing. Adoption progress is running fast when the market green.
645  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Whats your most common uses for cryptocurrencies? on: February 09, 2019, 02:47:14 PM
The most common thing i do with cryptocurrency is trading because it can be profiting if my prediction hit.
Another thing to do with crypto is investing on a very good project which is real, not scam one.
But i think there are many other activities in underground world using cryptocurrencies.
646  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Tired of waiting? on: February 08, 2019, 03:54:54 PM
If the bear market stays longer than expected will you take your leave and forget cryptocurrency ever existed? But the marketcap is getting larger and larger is that not enough to change your minds and stay?

Yes, the bear market of cryptocurrency has running for long time since 2018. But hey, we don't just waiting the market to go green.
While the market is on the red, waiting is the safe option to take. But if you can find a good project to invest on, then you can try to find it while waiting for the recovery of the market from the red condition.
647  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: DO WE NEED TO REGULATE ICOs? on: February 08, 2019, 03:40:42 PM
Well i say yes! Currently there are so many projects with similar goals and visions and some of them even don't have the needed capacity and resources to see to the success of the project but yet still competes with the capable funds when funds are being raised. This has also increased the number of scam projects in the cryptospace and this is really tarnishing the image of crypto investment. Let's not forget that if men were angels there would be no need for laws. I am not talking of a Centralized Regulating Body but we can use the concept of masternodes and run a decentralized ICO regulating body. Let's explore all the possible ways of how we can actually curb this menace in the cryptospace.

Maybe some regulations about ICO will be needed to ensure the investor's funds are safe in the ICO company hand.
Too many scam projects in ICO which already bring trust damage to the investors of cryptocurrency. Regulations will prevent more scam projects i guess.
648  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The Spirit of Bounty Hunting on: February 08, 2019, 03:16:57 PM
For you to succeed as a bounty hunter, you must keep up with the followimg spirit:

3. Spirit of Wisdom
You must be wise in your dealings. Know when to sell when not to, even while being patient.
Also know this, you are not here to promote and  sell alone, you can also buy and make good profit from the coin you have bought.
Being a bounty hunter is always an opportunity for you to be able to recognise good coin and understand such coin so well than any other person.
Apply what you know to get what you want and what is best for you.

Yes, this is the most important thing for me. Without wisdom, you won't be able to do your own research about the project.
Due diligence with knowledge and wisdom is important to gain the decent reward from your works.
If you already wrong in choosing the project to participate at first, then in the end your efforts will go in vain.
649  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Initial Coin Offering (ICO) in 2019 on: February 08, 2019, 03:11:12 PM
Over time and technological advances in the digital era, many people have been very interested in investing some of their money in the world of cryptocurrency such as Ethereum / (Altcoins). What are your plans for next year, and will you participate in the ICO?
Thank you.

I will keep supporting ICO as long they are a legit company and have a real project to run.
But ICO in 2019 will be different from 2017-2018 because the market condition is very bad and not going better currently.
When the market condition recover from the bottom, more peoples will come into cryptocurrency and make real ICO projects success.
650  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The Delayed "Exit Process" of Failed ICOs on: February 08, 2019, 03:06:02 PM
If they have no intention to develop their project in the first place, they will give you infinite reason to evade your questions.
Investing your money on ICO nowadays is very challenging because most of them failed to hit softcap.
But once you get the right project, the profit that you will gain is real.
651  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Good ICOs should be protected from dump on: January 15, 2019, 09:22:06 AM
Most of ICO companies doesn't care about their token price after their sale end, which is bad for their reputation.
They are too afraid to spend money to protect the value of their coin. I think if they let their token price down, it can damage their token permanently.
If the token value gone too low, they will have difficulty to gain the value back, even at least back to ICO price.
652  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What will you do in 2019? on: January 15, 2019, 08:33:55 AM
The year 2018 is not a profitable year for almost all Crypto fans, especially those who have just tried Crypto and have not enjoyed the benefits/profit. I do not mean to be pessimistic / give up on the current conditions, but how if the market does not improve in 2019? what will you do with all the assets you have?  will you sell all? or Will you make it a treasure?  or will you will get out from Crypto? or any ?
if I, then I will try to survive, who knows because the market changes very quickly.
because I am a new person on Cryptocurrency and still want to keep learning in it  Cheesy

Indeed, year 2018 i think the worst year of cryptocurrency because it has no bull market along the year.
In 2019, i think im gonna keep searching for a new opportunity to investing on crypto.
There must be some really good projects which are worth to take a part into. A massive amount of time will be required to due diligent i guess.
653  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Hardworking pays not luck on: January 14, 2019, 03:22:07 AM
We don't want luck we want to get paid for hardworking ,bounty that was once about how hardworking has now turn to 'how lucky you are' ,something must be done about this ,any ideas??? Since all devs makes use of Bitcointalk forum to advertise and draw people attention bitcointalk will Be the easiest strong wall standing between scammers and investors

Hardworking alone is not providing guarantee that you will be paid. Hardworking on zero project will resulting zero too.
Another thing that you need is diligent. How clever you to choosing a good project to pour your hardworking into it.
Nowadays there are only few projects that able to pass main sale with a great success.
654  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Survive on: January 11, 2019, 01:57:48 AM
In this bearish market, it’s difficult to make profits without thorough research
And almost every portfolio is negative

All I can tell is don’t dump out of fear
Survivor this period and join in packing the dips

Be greedy when others are fearful

The one who gonna survive through this bear market is the peoples who doesn't even care about the price of crypto.
For example, if you forget that you have some coins, then you won't sell it because you forget it.
Another peoples are they who can afford their money to lose, so they doesn't have any urgency to sell their coin in this dip price.
655  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The Best Type of Cold Wallet!! on: January 10, 2019, 04:40:48 AM
My first ever Poll!!

Hey just a quick poll to help gauge what the current thinking is on cold wallets and possible long term storage desires.

Please vote for which one you like best long term.

Thank you very much!

Of course it is hard wallet like ledger nano. Other wallet than hard wallet will have higher potential to be compromised.
But when you want to own hard wallet, you will need to spend your money to buy it.
I think it is worth to buy hard wallet using your money, so your coins will be safe in your possession.
656  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Implant microchip- Bitcoin wallet? on: January 10, 2019, 04:36:09 AM
Hello all!
I have just heard about microchip in a hand which you can use for Bitcoin payments.
Have you heard about it? Do you know where to order?
I have heard that it is classic microchip for dogs/cats but you have to modify it, but how?

This idea doesn't sounds too good for me. I think i will pass to using implant wallet in my body.
If you interested about it, maybe you can search for it in the dark web or somewhere underground world.
657  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What to do if you are deceived? on: January 09, 2019, 02:06:58 AM
I think that this is becoming more and more common lately, so what can we do to ensure that responsible people can be punished?

I think the easiest thing to do is to contact the developers before investing or before you decide to participate in the bounty of this project. You need to contact directly by phone, if it is specified or it is best to go and look at the address indicated on the website, is there really such a company. If this is not possible, but create a theme and ask people to find out if there is such an organization or people.

In general, by any means to identify the identity of these people. As soon as we can add personal identification, these people will not be able to just fool us. Because you can write to them in the police under the article fraud.

The most important thing is that today there is everything necessary in order to really find and punish the people who are deceiving us. I think it's time for us to start doing it, otherwise the ICO may die.

If you have any other suggestions, I will be glad to hear them.

Yeah true. Because many fraud ICO's, investors will afraid and won't come investing and ICO will die someday.
Personally, i think it will be better to make some platform for holding ICO. ICO companies need to submit the KYC of their team.
So, the investors will have a better guarantee that their money won't be scammed because it is the real ICO.
658  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which ETH wallet supports the upcoming hard forks? on: January 09, 2019, 01:54:56 AM
Hello guys!

I think some of you are aware that 3 Ethereum hard forks are on the way:

* Classic Vision - January 11
* Nowa - January 12
* Constantinople - January 16 or earlier

I also heard that Binance is supporting the forks. My question is what other wallets are supporting the upcoming Ethereum hard fork? Can it be Metamask? MEW? IMToken? Jaxx?

I'm gonna stack some ETH for the upcoming fork, so any advice or suggestion would be appreciated. Thank you.

I think the suitable wallet for most forks is your own personal wallet, not exchange wallet.
Myetherwallet is a simple wallet that support most forks, and if you want more secure wallet, using metamask is ok.
As long you own the private key of the wallet, you will be able to prove the ownership of your wallet.
659  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Am a newbie for bitcoin. Friends please clear my doubts on: January 08, 2019, 02:15:32 AM
Friends all we know bitcoin is transaction is not allowed in india. only few indian companies are available that also require KYC. I dont want my details to get exposed. i have some doubt in purchasing bitcoins. I have listed my doubts below please clarify it.

1. If someone buys bitcoin from blockchain in another country, for example (US blockchain user). And if they send bitcoin to my wallet address(Indian block chain user). Can I able to receive bitcoin or not
2.If I receive the bitcoin from that user. can I able to send it to other wallet id such as zebpay or coinbase or localbitcoins etc..

Please clarify these doubts as soon as possible.

Thanx in advance

Bitcoin is used globally, it means when the others buy bitcoin and transfer it to your wallet, you can receive that bitcoin too.
And after you received the coin, you can send to others bitcoin address as well.
As long it is a bitcoin address, then there won't be any problem. I think that clarified your doubts.
660  Economy / Speculation / Re: How to BUY BITCOIN at the "right" price on: January 08, 2019, 01:56:47 AM
Looking for strategies/opinions/options people are using for the "CORRECT" time for "others" to buy bitcoin..... this means no "anytime is the right time." That is obviously not true for everyone, especially people new to bitcoin.

Buy the Dip is ESSENTIAL now, so we're recommending people:

1. learn basic technical analysis
2. find a trusted Technical Analyst
3. Plan to buy at a price and amount they don't need for 5 - 10 years
4. HODL

Maybe it is hard to find the correct time to buy because the current dips can still falling at anytime.
But at least if you buy it on the dip, you will have better chance to sell it higher later, better than you buy it on the peak.
Planning to buying bitcoin and hold for 5 - 10 years is not easy, except you forget that you are holding it.
