641  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🎰 FlukyOne.com | The Ulimitate Online Casino Experience on: November 23, 2023, 01:46:52 PM
Is important to mention some of the terms and conditions on the site:

Quote
4. The minimum deposit per account is 10€ or its equivalent in any other currency.

5. All deposits must be wagered at least 3 times before a withdrawal can be requested.

7. Maximum withdrawal amount is 3.000 Euro /Usd per day.

Why there is a minimum amount on the depo? if the min bet is $0.1 why users can't depo $5 and have fun?

The x3 rollover on the deposit is just cruel, i understand a x1 wager to avoid money laundering, but an x3 is an excuse to make the users risk their money. Not cool.

And the max withdrawal of $3k/day is a limit that will scare the high rollers.
...
Looks like all users need to do KYC, which again, is not attractive for new users.  Undecided

I completely agree with you... all deposits must be wagered at least 3 times. I wonder where this comes from, we can guess it's to keep players on the site as long as possible, but this is not the right way for that. And a $3k maximum daily deposit withdraw sounds a bit funny, I wonder do they have max bets as well? You are 101% right, this will keep highrollers away, as well as many others who play with decent amounts and score nice wins on slots and other games.

Well, so many crazy rules, and in the end KYC being mandatory is a bit funny... I don't find this casino so attractive after reading the comments here.

Do you guys want crash contest to be back or something similar on all the slots?

Both are good... but I think that slots can be more interesting to play and for competing.

I like playing slots. But in this time, I prefer crash game contests.

What do you think @xLays, @panjul07

Panjul also has experience with slot competitions, as far as I remember he beat me in the last few so I can't wait for a rematch. Smiley

~
The highest that they can do is to set an age limit which has already been set to 18+ or better still have a self-exclusion feature,  but anything outside these two,  the casino sees it as a drawback for their profit since they are in the business for the profits.

I think it would be better for casinos too if there were no gambling addicts. If everyone was gambling responsibly, the negative connotation surrounding gambling would disappear and without it online casinos would surely get more customers in the end. After all, their aim is to make profit, not to create problems for people.

We create problems for ourselves, it's not the casino's fault because we gamble. It would be nice if everyone was responsible, but that will never happen. I guess we can say that is impossible, there will always be people who will want more, stronger, and faster. That's probably true for most of us, and only when we make a mistake and get hurt we learn, that's just how it goes. And of course, there will always be people who never learn... and such people are eaten by addiction sooner or later. It's all up to us, either we learn something and try to be smarter and more responsible, or we let something destroy us.
644  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Have You At Any Point In Time Blame Who Taught Or Led You To Gambling? on: November 21, 2023, 03:05:03 PM
How about have you at any time blamed the one that led you to gambling in your mind, or even told him face to face?

It's wrong to blame others for your own actions/mistakes... nobody forced you to gamble, and for sure you didn't think about it while you were playing and having fun. We have all made mistakes during our lives, some less and some more, that's for sure... but we certainly shouldn't blame others for our own mistakes.

I like to gamble, and I don't regret losing money on gambling and spending time on gambling... money/time is always spent on something, one way or another. Maybe I could have used them for something better, but that's not so important, I do what I like and I know that every hobby costs.

...
Do you also find yourself spending more on you payday?, or you approach your expenses differently?

I guess each of us is in a different situation, in my house, I am the only one who is working... wife is at home with two small children who are growing up and asking for more and more. So they wait for that day definitely, and when it comes they remind me about all the promises I made through the last month... so I am in that group that spends more money when I get my salary. But I guess that is a normal thing for the majority of people at the moment, it seems to me that it was easier before, but since the prices of everything have gone up, money is melting at an insane speed, it's hard to keep up.
646  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Top 40 Twitch accounts for gambling advertising on: November 20, 2023, 08:55:26 PM
Honestly, I don't really know any influencers there, but of course, if you are one of the many followers and someone contacts you through a casino, it is an advantage for the influencer so that he can make a profit from it even if he is not a gambler.

That's really because influencers also earn a lot when they have a lot of followers, and the market that casino owners look at in an influencer is the amount of followers and views that they get from every piece of content they make.

Well, Twitch is becoming less popular for gambling streamers. Kick is the "new best place" as I can see from some advertising on Twitter, but it's just my thinking. Maybe I am wrong, but with regulations, Twitch is taking the new course, and that move is opening the door for some new services. Gambling advertising is here to stay, the only question is where it will be the most.
647  Economy / Economics / Re: when the rich say 'ill give 95% of my billion away over my lifetime' explained on: November 20, 2023, 08:14:15 PM
Rich people don't give if they don't expect something in return... with interest. It's always about investing, rich people "invest" in charities so they have some benefits from that from the other side. In the end, they are in profit and their wealth is growing over time, do we need more facts?

If millionaires/billionaires gave away their money, there would be no hungry and poor people... but the fact is that there are more and more hungry and poor people around, so this story doesn't work anymore.
648  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is this a good advice? on: November 20, 2023, 07:01:41 PM
This is outright dangerous. I wouldn't tell people to continue chasing the gold when in fact there isn't any gold to be had in all of this madness. I'd advise them to treat gambling as a form of entertainment rather than something that will earn them some money. Telling people to continue gambling when there's no certainty in gambling is like telling people to create more problems for themselves, which is NEVER a good thing.

I can't agree more with you... there are no guarantees in gambling, so chasing wins can become a disaster in seconds, especially if people decide to chase golden wins at any cost. Gambling should be entertainment, and if we gamble with money we can afford to lose we can push, but if that pushing ends up badly we should stop, more deposits will just lead to more losses. I imagine many of us have been in there and done that, and I guess we know that the results are mostly negative.

Good advice should be about control, about knowing what we are risking. If we risk more than we can handle to lose we will get into problems, simply as that.
649  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: A tip for staying resposible while gambling. on: November 19, 2023, 08:22:08 PM
So I have a tip for them you can stick a real paper money note in front of your monitor which will remind you that money is hard to earn and play responsibly or don't play with big amounts.

Tips & ticks that can help... I guess many things can help, but in the end, it is completely individual, not everything can help everyone. I guess that comes with age, each of us learns what works for us and what doesn't... after we try everything and anything. It's how we learn, we try things and we learn what works for us.

My tip is (when it comes to online gambling), don't deposit more than you can afford to lose. When we are careful about our deposits and we keep some control over how much money we can deposit we will be safe... and that is responsibility, to not cross the limits we create!
650  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [POLL] Are you in profit? on: November 19, 2023, 04:46:32 PM
Well, I remember gambling and losing whole coins back in 2014-2015... so I doubt that anyone who has gambled since those years is really in profit. For sure, if we had chosen to invest and set aside our funds instead of gambling, the potential profit would have been greater, at least in my case. Anyway, there's no crying over spoiled milk, the life goes on. And despite that, there were undoubtedly beautiful moments and huge/crazy wins along the way.

So my vote is NO. Smiley
651  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🎲BetFury.io| 💸Join NEW Crypto Staking | 🔥Get the highest APRs – up to 60% on: November 19, 2023, 12:01:52 PM
No new development for the casino besides that APR. Maybe it needs another promotion to keep the projects popularity because its starting to die down.

If its presence is just to keep the ANN thread up, it will be forgotten especially that I don't see anyone bragging their wins in this casino.

Another promotion? I think they have pretty nice promotions:
-Join the BetFury 4th Birthday Bash – $1,000,000 Prize Pool!
-BetFury has Introduced a Brand New Generous Bonus System
-Betfury Introduces a Very Generous Referral Program
07/10/2023 | Categories: News | Published by: BTCGOSU | Last updated: 07/10/2023

And you have more on their promo page: https://betfury.io/promo?state=active&limit=9&page=1 Wink

You are right and that is why I like dividend casinos like Betfury. The only downside now is, that you don't get any more BFG for gambling there, so with that incentive taken away, my activity dropped (also because of work). The fun thing with earning tokens and getting a dividend, is that you are always inclined to earn more tokens to increase your dividend.

I agree with you, I like the old BFG mining system a lot more. Now BFG is obtained through bonuses, at least that's how it seems to me... I'm not as active as I used to be, but these days I get all the bonuses in BFG. So I guess it's the new system.
652  Economy / Economics / Re: When Was the Last Time you Came Across a Positive Economic News? on: November 19, 2023, 08:48:53 AM
There are good economic news, but the reality for ordinary people is that we stay in the same shit... Stock market gains, GDP growth, big companies are making more profit than ever, but that doesn't reflect on most of us, the cost of living is higher than ever before and it's hard to keep up with that with "old salaries". My/our wages are not rising as fast as prices are rising, and that's why we don't feel the good economic news.

The inequality between the poor and the rich is increasing, just look at the number of billionaires and how their wealth is bigger every year, while the number of poor people is rising. That's not good, and I am not sure is there a way to reverse that.
653  Economy / Economics / Re: Imaginary Future on: November 18, 2023, 08:58:32 PM
Do you ever feel like that being after saving or investing for future you forget to live in the present? You don't buy the things you want to or don't go after experiences you want because you'd rather save/invest for future instead.

All of the time to be honest. I’ve been denying myself some luxuries & enjoyable things to buy Bitcoin for so long. I think sometimes life is too short & I should just live for the here & now but it’s tough you know. I try to make a better future for myself by investing & being frugal but it’s no fun. It worked out good for me so far but possibly I should learn to let go a little perhaps.

I like your comment, and I can relate... I was like that 10 years ago. Now the situation is totally different, so what about wife & kids? House, car,  and all other things that can't wait? Can we deny all that? Can we save on their backs and let everything else fall just to get more coins? Don't get me wrong, but I just wish to shed some other light on this matter and topic... each of us is in a different situation, and each of us should do whatever we can to keep safe & comfortable the closest ones, I hope you get me.

Maybe we can think/dream about an imaginary future, but today is also important, maybe more important than anything "imaginary". When we are alone we can dream/deny/accept/postpone many things, but I am not alone anymore. And I can say it's hard to find balance between saving for future and living in present.
654  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Streamer wins seem too good on: November 18, 2023, 05:38:20 PM
Would it mean the casino rigged the games when you play real money?
And the streamer,  because he is playing the money that is considerably a demo money makes him win right?

Not rigged but rather they probably use different game software that adjust the RTP in favor to the player. The regular slot games works the same as advertised since slot games software has license too so they need to stick to the declared specification once distributed to the players.

It’s like streamers is playing a demo game from the slot provider website which is very easy to win compared to the slot game on the casino even though it’s the same game. It’s not rigged but rather the streamer slot games playing an adjusted version.

Well, there's definitely something about slot streamers, they have too many max wins in a short time. And I guess we can say they have some crazy big max wins, they are buying bonus rounds with +$10k... so you can imagine how big wins they have. I don't follow any streamers, but from time to time I see some Twitter shares, and when I see how many "max wins" on Hacksaw I get a big wish for crying... that is one of the worst providers for me, I had x0 so many times, and I never won over x1k on Hacksaw, and I tried so many times... so many bonus rounds won from normal spins, even more bought bonus rounds, and nothing. I know I simply didn't have luck with this provider, that's why I am not playing it anymore.

As in the headline, streamer wins seem too good, and we all know, when something seems too good it's probably not true.
655  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Letting the cat out of the bag on: November 18, 2023, 12:48:16 PM
When we really enjoy doing something, whatever that may be (good or bad), and our brain feels good about that and that makes us feel happy we will keep doing that activity, and we will want to do it more and more, it's addiction in some way.

And I guess it's all good as long as we can control it, as long as that activity doesn't hurt us and the people around us. Too much of anything is not good, and people who take it too far will feel the consequences. So before that happens, try to enjoy whatever you are doing and always try to have some control, and if you feel that control is sleeping take a break and chill... because if you don't control your addiction it will control you and you will be eaten by it eventually.

Wolf.bet refuses to payout earned commission: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5473231.0  Angry

I just read in the quoted thread you opened about this issue that in the end you have been paid you affiliate commissions : I think it would be fair on your side to update your quoted post because now that everything has been sorted out it is misleading.

As always, when people encounter issues they are quick to share them, but not so many people like to share some nice words. Anyway, it wasn't like Wolf refused to pay, it was more a small misunderstanding about the minimum withdrawal amount... I guess we can praise the Wolf representative, although they are not very active here, they reacted to this problem quite quickly and solved it.
657  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can a mega winner say no to public presentation? on: November 17, 2023, 08:56:17 PM
A mega-winner should be able to refuse a public presentation, I certainly would. We don't all come from rich areas and we can't say that most of us live in safe conditions, simply put, we don't all have safes in banks and private security. With that said, sometimes (or better to say all the time) it's far better to keep your head down and not talk loud about big money stashed in the house.

So this kind of thing can be like drawing a target on one man's back, that is not nice... Casinos are doing that just for marketing, but as I said, that can be a big trouble for some ordinary people who won big.
658  Economy / Gambling / Re: COINS.GAME | THE MOST REWARDING CRYPTO CASINO | SPORTSBOOK & CASINO on: November 17, 2023, 05:44:25 PM
Anyone here who like to participate in the $150 free tournament, what is your best result in this free tournament?
Just wanna share my experiences with this free tournament as I participated several times and I think I'm lucky enough as I've once won the 1st place last month.

I was interested in the beginning but then realized there are many whales who will wager more and more. It's not easy to wager that much amount with 10 max bets. But there are some legendary players like you who can wager a couple of thousands with just 100 coins. Your winning history will motivate others to try the tournament. But I easily lose interest after a few tries. But the tip you gave is not bad. There was a time when I was following this method in some casinos with the faucet fund. I guess it was Bit**er back in 2018.

We all start with the same amount, there are no whales in this competition... I didn't try it until know, but as I know we all start with 100 Candies? Am I right?

So it's more about luck & skills than about bankroll. Skills to find the game that suit us and to be able to push when we feel it's the time for pushing & luck to win some of the risky bets! Smiley

My first try...

I have little over 700 Candies at the moment, I will continue to play and maybe I will get to some higher place! Good luck all! Smiley
659  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What I learnt from a crackhead about gambling on: November 17, 2023, 12:56:19 PM
They say that mental addictions are the worst ones... the thing with psychological addictions they have a much bigger effect on our thoughts and emotions, and that reflects on our bodies as well. Physical addictions are easier to identify and treat, once you get rid of what you are using you are on the halfway to stop thinking about it, but mental addictions are more insidious and pervasive.

Simply said, mental addictions are going way deeper than physical ones, so we can say they are more challenging than physical ones, and it's really hard to overcome them, I would say harder than physical ones.

660  Economy / Gambling / Re: Betnomi | Project status on: November 17, 2023, 08:59:05 AM
Why you havent made out that immediate announcement about on what happened?

Well, I wonder the same thing, they should have done something back then... it's never good when someone just disappears without any words, especially with someone else's money.

But they are back, let's see what will they do to make things right, if that is possible... to be honest, I have some doubts, I don't like it when someone just disappears and then comes back... it's certainly nice that they are back, but it definitely won't be easy for them to regain their old reputation. It's not impossible, but it will be difficult.
