It would not take the LISK team too long create their version of DAO.
Once the mainnet is launched and updated 2 to 3 times after the official launch they can put some serious time, energy, and large sums of money from the $6,384,456 US in donations to the ico. $456/BTC multiplied by 14,001 Bitcoins (crypti isn't included because I don't anyone buying crypti when they can setup a lisk clone from the open source on github.) Total sum is $6,384,456 US.

why are the devs not developing together with lisk, it would make their chance to have a successfull project running higher.
it will give you alot of problems forking a coin in development and working on it. there were projects forking darkcoin in 2014, almost all of them are gone. it would make sense to fork now dash, but not a system in development. it was the same with bitcoin, there were alot of forks, all gone. -i think you are underestimating the problematics -make a good coin, another coin, start from scratch, make an unique coin. this looks like a scam and probably is, even with good intentions. alot of people starting with good intentions and end bad. then what is your definition of 'scam'? |

where is Rise located, France? Not a cheaper economy to develop this project out of. definitely more funding needed.
Rise team is located mainly in the US and France, certainly not cheap economies! We didn't set a minimum cap to be raised for the tech development. The reasoning for that was Justin, Hooper and any other coders that come on board, can do it with very little funds. If the funding is minuscule it would mean that Rise would become a part time project as opposed to full time. For a part time project the roadmap will be completed over a much longer time period because development will be slow, the coders would have to work other jobs to pay their living expenses, there's no way around that. However, we have high hopes to finish the ICO with a reasonable amount of funding, enough so we can get development completed at a pace that will please investors. Thanks everyone for participating! 95 btc in a few days is not to be laughed at and there is still almost 4 weeks left.  3 days left of 20% bonus before changing to 15%.what will you need to raise to make this a full time project to get it to market reasonably quickly? |

i hope the hype will not fade away after we wait an exchange and after the pump, because many coin after the first pump are forgotten, not good, let's see if this is the case there's whole army of app developers out there with existing products and actual customers having to give a substantial % of their revenues to Apple and Google. they will be economically motivated to dapp their apps. this is not an 'educate the market with this new idea' gig. this is disruption based on hard economics. it will fly. So do you think that someday (sooner than later) we will see 1BTC = 1LISK  well, Lisk is native to mobile, and everyone has a phone. that's a big play. |

Yup. will have to wait and see.  Still 28 days left of the ICO so 4 full weeks. hard to know the price this early in. I like how they have a solid plan and they're working on it every day. Rise shall rise... I agree, I'm very encouraged at the lineup of things to come for RISE and the daily progress being made by the dev. Their team is on top of it. So far they look like a good team I agree, the only problem I see at the moment is they have only raised 95 btc and waves and lisk did way more. I don't know it that's a good thing or a bad thing. only 95 BTC? that's not a good thing. it takes cold hard cash to fund development. Yep I was thinking that if they don't collect very much now then after when the ICO has finished the marketcap can go up very high, so better for us  . They could have done a min raised total and not launched until that amount had been invested. Most people probably have their btc stuck in other coins and can't invest in Rise atm idk. where is Rise located, France?
