641  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Strong Hands Are Buying on: December 12, 2022, 04:11:08 PM
Bitcoin has the potential to be a fantastic investment for all kinds of people, as it provides an opportunity for anyone to invest and benefit from their savings and/or investment, not just Strong People Buying. It is important to remember that, currently, the best strategy for investing in bitcoin is to buy it, then hold it. That's how one collects the most BTC over time.

If one day, the rewards for investing in bitcoin seem less attractive than other options, then some investors will sell their bitcoins, thereby reducing overall demand and the price could fall because of lower demand, not because of reduced utility.

643  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Would Bitcoin survive the apocalyse? on: November 28, 2022, 05:32:21 AM
I do not think so. BTC will be fine even though market conditions are still being corrected. Some people think of Bitcoin as money or digital currency. For me, it's been a store of value and a conduit for paying online or offline. We are all here eager to see the future of Bitcoin and I believe Bitcoin will continue to fly high, like a bird.
644  Economy / Economics / Re: FTX Drama and Global Empact on: November 26, 2022, 04:30:15 AM
Hopefully the FTX drama ends soon and we can know whether it will end or continue by getting new investors, FTX is a big and top-ranked exchange so it always worries us, the negative issue that the FTX case will happen again of course will make us have to be vigilant and since a week ago i moved a lot of assets that i have stored in kucoin, gate, hitbtc, binance, huobi and so on.

FTX went bankrupt because they scammed people on a very high scale. This is truly an eye opener for anyone who has put their life savings and retirement accounts into the stock market or is tempted to buy trading stocks.
645  Economy / Economics / Re: Will central banks ultimately fail in their goal of lowering down inflation? on: November 24, 2022, 02:32:16 AM
I think such an increase in interest rates will help control inflation. Surely such financial institutions have to be careful if they raise interest rates too high because even those with money can't just sit idly by as they watch their investments, especially in the stock market, slowly being drained away.

We do need a global economic recovery. Most countries are in debt, and their economies have been brought to their knees. Major developed countries must implement policies that stimulate domestic demand to attract these economies back. I don't think war should be anyone's first choice; it's expensive, dangerous, and ultimately ineffective at solving problems.

War and pandemics are indeed factors of great concern that must be considered. It will be difficult to predict inflation if things get worse in the future. Well, they probably have some serious thoughts to do, though. My view is that the central bank wants to see price stability. They will use any tool at their disposal to achieve that goal. But what happens when their actions help create a massive asset bubble instead?

The world of finance is very fragile, its main enemy is rush money caused by panic. We can all just wait and see what happens next.
646  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Tornado Cash sanctions as the beginning of the end of privacy coins? on: November 24, 2022, 02:18:28 AM
The future remains uncertain for privacy coins given the government's desire to crack down on the cryptocurrency sector. Additionally, their unique features make it easier for cyber criminals to potentially use them in malicious ways.

It's hard to deny that investing in crypto assets with diverse use cases can only be good for the crypto community as a whole. There are potential benefits not only to personal financial health through diversification and hedging, but also increased awareness and widespread adoption of decentralized systems.

Privacy coins have a chance to become the norm in the future if people start buying more privacy – cash. Why? Because what you do with your money isn't the government's business, it's getting you out of the system. Being your own bank means you earn your own interest on your money. We are entering a new era where people will stop caring about privacy, but I think it will be a while before we get there.
647  Economy / Economics / Re: Twitter Crypto head and staff resigns on: November 23, 2022, 09:48:28 AM
I personally don't think that this event will have a significant impact on Bitcoin or any other cryptocurrency nor will it damage the reputation of Blockchain Technology as a whole. Twitter has a story to tell on how blockchain technology has taken more people into cryptocurrencies as everyone shares their personal experiences with friends and family. And true a company is nothing without its employees working for it. Many of them come and go in this field. They may have fond memories of the company they worked for but nothing lasts forever.

This is reality. I don't know whether or not Twitter was at fault for firing so many people, but I don't think any tech company is at fault if they fire people just because they can't afford it anymore or because they need to cut costs. to survive in the market.
648  Economy / Exchanges / Re: What is now the difference with Ponzi platforms with cryptocurrency exchanges on: November 23, 2022, 09:09:22 AM
Since cryptocurrencies are so volatile, scammers take advantage of this situation to increase their profit margins, and this causes many people to lose money. There are certain shady practices to be aware of when using crypto exchanges. The player (person) often uses it for gambling or quick trading, but others use it for other unethical and illegal activities to the detriment of all users.

There are many things, where the best crypto exchange is not the ideal place to invest your money or trade. You need to know the market and you shouldn't just trust promises or reviews. The most important thing to do when trying out a new exchange is to learn as much about it as possible. Plus, it's always important to have a backup plan in case something happens that you can't immediately identify or fix.
649  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Bad economic situation always create more crimes on: November 23, 2022, 08:55:50 AM
The economic environment affects people's morale and that is why they need better protection. People need to understand that crime is linked to a bad economy. When the rules of the market economy are distorted, opportunities for delinquency can arise.

Yes. The government also plays an important role in the economy, where the government needs to think about, make good regulations, and protect small or large investors or entrepreneurs with terms and conditions that apply so that fair competition will produce fair results.

Providing employment opportunities for the community and receiving payment in accordance with the minimum wage standard in a country is a component that is considered important and urgent to reduce the growth of the unemployment rate.
650  Economy / Economics / Re: FTX drama and it’s long term consequences: Bitcoin is a confidence Game. on: November 16, 2022, 06:28:23 AM
My opinion Probably the biggest thing that came out of this drama is that the FTX hackers are getting a different view of bitcoin.

I think the time has come to put “bitcoin as magic internet money” behind us, build proper cryptographic security apart from fiat currency, improve consensus protocols so we can scale to handle VISA and MasterCard transaction volumes. increasing the resilience of the network for adoption as most people are not sophisticated enough for escrow and multisig and making derivatives easier as contracts can be automatically tied to a reliable BTC/USD price, which never will in the future.
651  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is it safe keep my money in cloud? on: November 16, 2022, 05:36:19 AM
My opinion is that it is still safe for your funds to be in a hard wallet /cold wallet such as Trezor, Ledger, Safepal, and Cold Wallet because hackers and scammers are getting more sophisticated but remember that if something is stored on an exchange wallet, it is only as good as the security measures taken by the platform, and don't forget to read the terms and conditions.
652  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: FTX exchange is going to be bankrupted. What happens to FTX Token? on: November 15, 2022, 02:04:03 PM
Some good points are raised here. FTX's reputation may have been torn down but personally, I don't think it's over. However, the fact that the management team did little to explain and provide updates on the matter worries everyone.

For now this might be your chance to buy it cheap. What holds the value of other tokens is the number of exchanges listed, so it might be a good idea to buy them now before they are written off on all exchanges. But still, don't expect anything good anymore because of what happened.
653  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: CZ proposes an Industry recovery fund. on: November 15, 2022, 01:46:59 PM
It's my view that CZ is taking important initiatives to ensure the industry doesn't collapse. I hope this will help restore confidence in the community, and help make people realize that this is a dynamic industry, not a fly-by-night "money grab" scheme.

I also like how he emphasizes Public accountability and this initiative will most likely stop the bleeding in the crypto market and set a safe foundation for even better growth.

655  Economy / Economics / Re: Is long-term employee retention a losing battle? on: November 07, 2022, 05:50:41 AM
For example, if you were a leader in a company what would you see?

Employee choice is an important factor in the long-term development of companies and individuals. So you have to pay attention to whether the person you choose is good or bad. If you have a special situation right now, you should try to think hard before making a decision. Remember, time is gold and only you can control your own future and that of your company.
656  Other / Off-topic / Re: Do you consider appearance in business and employment? on: November 07, 2022, 05:31:30 AM
I have always heard this saying: You would be addressed the way you are dressed . This also connotes that you should address people the way they dress or appear. In my location you must wear a suit, a shirt tucked in good pants with a tie, or a well-tailored native attire, to prove that you are ready for business or employment. Wearing a jean, T-shirt or any casual wear is indecent in business and you would be treated like an unserious individual. But over the years I have learned that appearance can be deceptive, this has made me treat people or business prospects by their behavior, ability, and productivity and not by appearance. Some reasons for my decision are:

2. Scammers and criminals hide behind attractive appearances : To deceive people, some criminals dress presentably because they want to divert the attention of their targets. In my location, most Ponzi scheme operators always dress corporately at all times, just to give the people the feeling that their funds are in the custody of responsible persons.

All in all, it depends on what industry you are looking for. If you're in the creative industry, looks will be much more important than if you're looking for something more technical or traditional. It depends on your personal preference.

When it comes to business, never be afraid to ask questions, especially if you can't confirm that they are a legitimate seller. Never feel pressured to make a purchase, and before you do, review all the information provided including the seller's return policy and product description. That's one of the best ways to avoid falling victim to online scams.
657  Other / Archival / Re: Most investors think regulation is a good thing on: October 26, 2022, 06:32:29 AM
I don't think many people are against laws to protect investors and make the space more fair and transparent. It looks like the cryptocurrency regulatory process is in full swing and will continue until regulators are sure they can monitor everything.

Now, all who are involved in the world of the Money Market need a system that protects investors. If we are not sure whether something is legit or not it is better to just avoid it.

In other words, the future of cryptocurrencies will depend on regulation—but regulation is done right. There is nothing wrong if the parties want to regulate this industry, as long as it is done in the right way. But by protecting consumers and investors, regulators will help cryptocurrencies thrive—not hinder them.
658  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: what happens to bitcoin if the electricity and internet goes out.? on: October 26, 2022, 06:19:58 AM
I'm a newbie in bitcoin, and I want to ask everyone, what happens to bitcoin if the electricity and internet in this world goes out? whether bitcoin buying and selling transactions are still running or not?

If the whole world is cut off from the internet and shuts down for a long time, your Bitcoin (if You Have one) will remain safe with you and will remain in your personal wallet even if there is no internet and no electricity.

The short is that Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies will continue to function even during the collapse of society and that is why most of the experts in the industry believe that Bitcoin has found its way to survival.
659  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What do you think China will lose by banning Bitcoin? on: October 25, 2022, 05:07:40 AM
It all seems like a knee-jerk reaction from the government and I don't see any real reason why China is banning crypto.

Bitcoin will change the way we bank, apply, or transfer money. If the government does not allow its citizens to work with bitcoin, it will lose its citizens' confidence in the future as well as investment opportunities, it will destroy jobs in the country, and deter foreign businesses from investing in China.

I think That's fine and the Government there makes the decision, but there are still plenty of reasons to keep cryptocurrencies legal so they don't harm their own people and impact the rest of the world.
660  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Lightning Network Observer on: October 25, 2022, 04:49:13 AM

.. but not as much as trying to specifically talk about how things that you might be talking about relates to lightning network.

I'm also waiting and seeing how the Lightning Network grows in the next few months for the lightning network to be ubiquitous as still many wallets won't implement it by default, may have to turn it on manually first.
