641  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: BitBet Stole ~$7,000 from me (10 BTC) on: March 19, 2014, 05:20:23 PM
The bottom line is that any decent sportsbook or bookmaker anywhere in the world would void a late bet, win or lose, and return the stake.
It has been industry standard practice for a long, long time, both on
and offline.

That "industry" was just rendered obsolete.

Had it been my bet I would have already come face to face with you and extracted every last cent by now.

Sorry I'm not punting with you right now....The wallet I use to place bets with you is offline for a few days (blockchain.info)

Unless you want to give me some credit of course!

What are you guys playing at?
This is getting silly now.
While you are messing about you are slowly losing customers to the other bitcoin sportsbooks.
And it's your own fault.

They are going to pull a Gox on you all.  Tongue

Please don't say that.....even in jest.

646  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Blockchain.info been down quite a while now on: March 18, 2014, 01:58:27 PM
It began last night...I went to have a soccer bet with Direct Bet and couldn't fund it.
The good news is the bet would have lost.

If your mother weren't a promiscuous whore, the world would conceivably be a better place. Not quite as amusing tho.

You sir, come across as an absolute grade one cunt.

The problem with the "highest profit percentage on turnover" that you suggest, if I understand it correctly, is that say for example someone gets lucky and wins a bet with a very high profit percentage, i.e. 700% ROI, s/he might not want to place additional bets during the competition period to retain the high ROI and the high position in the competition, which would be the correct strategy as far as the competition goes. This in effect will turn the competition into "Who wins a bet at the highest odds".

On reflection, you are right.
Leave things as they are.

You are more than welcome to the feedback.
The other contest was based on parlays as I remember it.
If you had a contest  that took into account  all bets, i.e. Singles. doubles, trebles etc. and based it on highest profit percentage on turnover I believe it would be much more popular.
I'd certainly be interested for a start.

you remember it wrong, single bets also counted towards the previous contest  Wink

Did they really?
My brain is slowly melting.

Good Luck !

In my humble opinion this would attract more entrants if the  contest were decided on total yield from stakes, irrespective of stake sizes.
As it is, it's just a 'who has the biggest cock' contest.

How can we cancel/change our bets? This should be possible, right?

I think we should be able to cancel them once the event has started myself.

Just bet the opposite and double up.  Cool
It's called hedging.
I was being flippant.

If you are looking for a new book, look no further:  I agree with the posters above that this is the best! I have been using them since the beginning of college football season and have no complaints.  Rumor is live betting is on its way as well... Also, they have been around for a long time with a non BTC site and dont think they are going anywhere.

NITROGENSPORTS.EU *** BEST ODDS *** AUTO WITHDRAWALS *** FASTEST PAYOUTS *** 20 TM PARLAYS ***
They don't have the best odds SO STOP saying that. Seriously jesus.
Their soccer odds are definitely the best overall.
I haven't seen any better on a Bitcoin Sportsbook.

Can you grade Betting slip ID 40473 for me please?
I need the bitcoin to carry on betting with.
Thanks.

I'm still waiting for this bet to be graded.
Can it be today please?.....Surely you realise the quicker the punter has his winnings returned, the quicker he bets again.
Direct bet, Anonibet, Nitrogen and Cloudbet all settle instantly and if you don't start doing likewise fast you will be left behind and start losing customers my friend. Nobody owes you a living.
I know you have had live betting issues for a couple of weeks but that  shouldn't mean people wait for pre game bets to be settled.

Which is the amount you want to bet? Are you using comma?

I've spent the last 9 months using a dot and wondering why it never worked and therefore  just stuck to in-play bets.
Now I've used a comma and it's worked!
Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha!!
