6409  Economy / Lending / Re: Offering BTC loans [no collateral] on: August 13, 2014, 01:37:25 AM
I just need $250-$400BTC. I can do collateral with my forum,
Denied. Not interested in holding your forum as collateral. I'd have to figure out the validity of everything you say, then figure how all that works, and finally know how to sell something like this in the event that you run off. I'm not willing to invest this much time to hold a collateral, or verify you. On THIS forum, you're still a newbie.

We are needing about: 0.008753 = $5.00 usd
Denied. A company that is unable to find a way to get $5 worth of btc? Hard to believe. I'm sure you can pay your bills in fiat.

Haploid23 you neither approved or denied my loan request, whats the story?
Seriously dude, use some common sense. When you ask for a loan just to build rep, then I respond with something like "you ruined your chance of ever getting a loan", what does that suggest? Ok here it is... DENIED.

ok cool thanks anyway

6411  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin related domain names market flooded on: August 13, 2014, 12:12:49 AM
btc.com was sold for over 1M dollars.

As more people get into bitcoin, the price of a good domain name will keep going up. Same mentality of those hoarding coin and refusing to sell now.

My point being that people are trying to sell, but no ones buying, and look at all the altcoins dying, and look at the bitcoin price lately, not much movement and doesn't look like it will go to the price it was at in November any time soon, wish it weren't so but I think people are losing interest in crypto from all the scamming and hacking, volitility then lack of activity..
6412  Economy / Economics / Bitcoin related domain names market flooded on: August 12, 2014, 09:02:00 PM
I would like to point out how many bitcoin related domains are going up for sale or auction every day in the market section of this forum, and how nearly all of them are not selling at all, with no replies at all!

I wonder if these domains that everyone has rushed to register are actually worth anything because of the amount of them up for sale?
6413  Economy / Auctions / Re: 2 domain names >> coinmark.net & coinmark.org on: August 12, 2014, 08:10:19 PM
Nice domain names, good luck with the sale Smiley

6415  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Grabbing other peoples private keys with bitcoin-qt on: August 12, 2014, 04:28:48 PM
but could you not, when connecting, have the peers client send you all their bitcoins?
6416  Other / Beginners & Help / Grabbing other peoples private keys with bitcoin-qt on: August 12, 2014, 04:16:31 PM
Would it be possible to edit the bitcoin-qt code so that when communicating with other peers it also grabs their private keys whilst grabbing their version of the blockchain?

This could be a possible security flaw am I right?
6417  Economy / Lending / Re: Offering BTC loans [no collateral] on: August 12, 2014, 03:52:00 PM
Is a rep loan bad? I'm not using it to buy anything, only to prove I can be trusted.

Think about it. You're essentially trying to buy reputation. So can you tell me if you think it's bad or not?

Does that mean denied?

6420  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Living off of Bitcoins on: August 11, 2014, 07:04:26 PM
Well if you have to trade bitcoins for usd then you don't actully "live off" of bitcoins right?

Yes. this is why my friends dont give a fuck about it. "Oh so you have to BUY btc, then convert back to fiat", pretty dumb imo. Plus paying with something that may be x10 more valuable in 10 years? I dont see it. Wouldn't you rather pay in cash?

It is fun to gamble and trade with though  Roll Eyes
