Twitter, other OTTs must now register with CAC, FG insists The Federal Government on Wednesday said the microblogging platform, Twitter, must register as a business concern in Nigeria as part of conditions to be met before the suspension placed on its operation can be lifted.
Mohammed accused the microblogging and social media platform of suspicious activities in the country, adding that it pays no taxes to the Nigerian government despite the revenue it generates from Nigerians.
“That is not the best practice globally, and that is why we are insisting that for you to operate in Nigeria you must first be a Nigerian company and be licensed by the broadcasting commission. .

It's been three hours and the transaction is still unconfirmed, maybe I really need Lucius' help, but it looks like he's not online now i will try to wait a few more hours, if i keep increasing the fee, the transaction will be done again right? I'm wondering because it might take more time I will advice you to wait, but if you need the recent mempool feerate that can get your transaction confirmed in the next block, you can check https://mempool.space for that, the feerate that can get you transaction confirm in the next block is around 35 sat/vbyte. But I will advice you to wait if you are not in a hurry. To use ViaBTC free acceleratator, you will still need to increase your transaction fee to around 20 sat/vbyte because you are using segwit address to send to segwit address, the minimum fee of a transaction before ViaBTC free acceleratator can be used is 10 sat/byte, using native segwit address will let it be around 20 sat/vbyte to be used as fee, so Lucius will be able to help you accelerate it at around 20 sat/vbyte. Or pump it to around 35 sat/vbyte, it will be confirmed in the next block or sooner.

actually i was send the amount from my blockchain wallet to Remmittano exchange what about it , any solution ?
Remitano is a custodial wallet, you can not be able to use CPFP as you do not have the private key to the address, Remitano has it. You will need to wait until it go confirmed on it own. The transaction also not support replace-by-fee. I will try to accelerate it with my Viabtc account for you. Hopefully it will be included in their next block.
The transaction fee is 3 sat/byte, you will be able to make use of ViaBTC free acceleratator only if a minimum fee of 10 sat/byte is used, which means you can not use viaBTC to accelerate it. Also, it is not necessary to have an account on ViaBTC before you can make use of the free accelerator, having an account is required if you want to make use of ViaBTC paid acceleratator.

should i claim speedup with this new txt? I increased it to the minimum you mentioned above. Honestly, 0.9$ for transaction fee is still too cheap right now 10 sat/vbyte is okay, and if not confirmed in time, you can still pump it further. But 10 sat/vbyte should be good.

I really don't know why this happened, I was even surprised by it. Today, I open electrum to make my trade, everything is set as before, I just don't understand why fees are so low. I usually make trades with average fee, but today it was at its lowest without my influence, strangely, it is at 0.08$ when i press execute button. I don't think I can cancel the transaction and make another one, maybe?
This can happen when the mempool is not congested at all. Your transaction support replace-by-fee, which means you can pump the fee. Click on your unconfirmed transaction on electrum, you will see where you can pump the fee, click on it and pump it. This will increase the feerate to the amount you adjusted it to.

Are you still active in this thread? I have a transaction that has been suspended for hours and I hope you can help me speed it up My txt: af39244c8e8c95220b22f1f32d7d95bd50ab76e07ce5586a9e88729bc23c0d1b
thank you!
Your transaction is having a fee of 1 sat/vbyte, it support replace-by-fee, pump it to around 5 to 10 sat/vbyte. No free acceleratator can help you accelerate the transaction as ViaBTC can only accelerate transactions with at least a fee of 10 sat/byte which is still enough to get a transaction confirmed this time around.

Do you think it will be a good idea to promote hardware wallets here?
It will be good, and that does not mean you should limit your affiliation to only hardware wallet because you will need to diversify. You may need to make use of YouTube for the affiliation, you can even have your own site for it. Which means you will also focus on other things that will create traffic into your website and YouTube channel. You can even earn more money if people visit your site or channel often, that is another opportunity you will have as an affiliate marketer. You will earn from your website and channel, you will also earn from the products you are marketing, this is a good idea, but do not focus on only hardware wallet, you can also create relevant articles and videos about other things important about cryptocurrencies just to create traffic.

To help you choose between the two, PayPal locks out their users when they feel like there is a suspicious activity when there really isn't any of it, they are just being overreactive and hyper vigilant.
Also PayPal can not be used to buy and sell Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies, it is only used to buy and sell, which means their customers do not have access to the cryptocurrencies, they only have access to numbers. I only read in news they will soon support it, that their customers will be able to send and receive cryptocurrencies but not yet implemented. Which means, if I want to use PayPal to send bitcoin or other crypto to a friend's noncustodial wallet, I can not. If I want to transfer from PayPal to a noncustodial wallet like Trezor, I can not.

Since 2012, Coinbase has been offering its services to US crypto investors,
Moreover, Coinbase offers a wide range of features and services that focus on crypto investments, advanced trading, custodial accounts, and wallet storage.
The Coinbase you specified about are providing custodial services, investors makes use of noncustododial wallets, preferably hardware wallets like Trezor for holding. The most pressing disadvantage with the Coinbase platform is its high transaction fees since it also offers more convenience for traders. However, you can lessen these fees simply by switching to Coinbase Pro
Coinbase.com is a custodial wallet incorporated with exchange function, the ones regarded as an exchange is Coinbase Pro. Another thing to consider with Coinbase is that it is only accessible through a browser. Currently, there are no Coinbase apps available for mobile devices. You can still access it using your Android or iOS compatible phones through a web browser app.
Coinbase.com and Coinbase Pro both have android and iOS apps. You can check their apps out on app stores. For Android: Coinbase.com https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.coinbase.androidCoinbase Pro https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.coinbase.proAlso the third which is Coinbase wallet that is noncustodial has app, but that does not still change the fact that it is a web wallet https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=org.toshiAdditionally, the app can also act as a crypto wallet where you can hold digital coins supported by the platform.
Like I once implied, holders should make use of noncustododial wallets, hardware wallets like Trezor preferably, but online noncustodial ones are still not bad for low amount of cryptocurrencies. With the app's recent crypto adoption, PayPal has an edge over Coinbase since users can now manage their digital assets as well as their fiat money all in one platform.
In my opinion, that is not an advantage so far you can convert your cryptocurrencies to fiat and fiat back to cryptocurrencies on Coinbase, this can be done in a way you can have acess to fiat.
Please one question: Has PayPal allowed users to be able to send and receive Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies supported, because it did not allow that before, you can only use PayPal to buy and sell, you can not use it to send and receive. Which means PayPal is depriving its customers of the real cryptocurrencies, it is like they users are still buying and selling fiats and nothing more. In fact, when it comes to Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies, I hate PayPal.

session umbrella wood donor ahead climb gym pause frown siren electric polar That will work; the error he'll get is just a warning about the BIP39 checksum below the seed: BIP39 (checksum: failed) but the next button will is still be available.
But I wouldn't suggest that since it's a non-standard way of creating an HD p2sh-segwit wallet. It'll force Electrum to get an entropy from the Electrum seed phrase that will be used as BIP39 seed. Downloading an offline copy of iancoleman's BIP39 tool is easy, it's open-source and the current code is clean.
I used mobile electrum wallet for it, that means it is different from how desktop electrum wallet will work, while desktop electrum is far the best to use. When I used the above seed phrase as normal electrum wallet seed phrase When I checked it as BIP39 seed phrase I used mobile electrum version 4.1.2 (32 bit).

So why does Mycelium shows the fees as so high when it can be confirmed in 15 minutes with a lower fees itself.
Some wallets fee estimation may not be accurate, I am not certain about electrum, but if what you said is true, it may not be totally accurate. Before I make any transaction, I always check mempool observers for the high and low fee I can pay before sending. Sometimes, I noticed there are time the fee are estimated by some wallet to be too low as normal fee, and there are times the fee are estimated higher than it should require. You can try and make use of any of these fee estimator in comparison with your wallet fee estimation: https://jochen-hoenicke.de/queue/#BTC,24h,weighthttps://mempool.spacehttps://mempool.observer

OP doesn't need to generate a new BIP39 seed using another tool. He already has an Electrum seed that can be used to generate Nested Segwit,
The step is the same way as the post above. in the beginning, choose I already have seed, write electrum seed, and tick BIP 39 on option, the nest step is derivation path then choose p2sh-p2wpkh.
This will not work. Supposing you use the seed phrase generated on electrum, the Next button will be available for you to click so the wallet can generate the keys and addresses, but once you checked it as BIP39 seed, the Next button will go unavailable at the time, and you will not be able to use it to generate BIP39 keys and addresses. This does not work and will not work because BIP39 seed phrase is different from electrum wallet seed phrase.

How can I upgrade to Nested Segwit, addresses starting with 3 on Electrum.
I will not advice you to use many of the BIP39 wallets because they are close source, a wallet that its source code is not available for the public to check of vulnerabilities can not be trusted. If you want a nested segwit wallet (wallets that its addresses starts from 3), you can visit https://iancoleman.io/bip39/ and generate it offline. Access https://iancoleman.io/bip39/, turn off all internet connections on your device, open another tab, access the site again through the new tab with no internet connection, the site will open. Then, you can generate your seed phrase. Alternatively, which is the best is to run its html file offline, you can download the source from https://github.com/iancoleman/bip39/releases/latest/. Import the seed phrase on electrum by clicking on: - Next
- Standard wallet
- I already have a seed
Input the seed phrase generated safely from Iancoleman, check "BIP39 seed to enable Next - click Next
- p2sh-p2wpkh
- Next
- input password
With this, you will be able to generate nested segwit keys and addresses also on electrum wallet, but know that the seed phrase is not stored on electrum, only the keys and addresses are stored. Make sure you have your backup offline. Also, the fee paid using native segwit (addresses that start from bc1) in transactions is still very low if compared to nested segwit, so I will still advice you to use native segwit which electrum will generate by default. Also, you can decide to use open source wallet like mycelium, but I have not used it before, make sure the keys and addresses of the nested segwit are the same as that on electrum after importimg it.

Like I said I have already sorted the issue by formatting my PC but I am just asking if someone is familiar what this might be or explain a bit more?
Disregard my post above. So far you are making use of an exchange, and the deposited address is different and not yours, that should not be QR code or clipboard malware as it is deposit address that was affected (which means your exchange account is totally affect). It is strange to me but I think the hacker was able to logout your exchange account, login their own account which may be very similar to yours, and spying on your activities. Didn't you enable 2fa and sim authentication?

There has been clipboard malware since long time ago. For example, if you want to send Bitcoin to someone, the Bitcoin address can be changed to a hacker's address immediately your paste in the address. That is why you need to check and recheck the address you are sending bitcoin to before pressing on the send button. The best in this regard is to uninstall you device OS and install back the OS to make it free of any kind of malware, some people will format the device like you did.
(virus is just one of the makeware, there are others like Trojan, Rootkit and Botnents. Some malware are combination of two or more malware to help achieve compromisimg the intended devices).

You must be doing something wrong. When you type in the name of an existing wallet then Electrum will automatically open that wallet. Are you sure that you are selecting the correct derivation path during the recovery? You can see the derivation path of the wallet you are trying to recover at the bottom of "Wallet -> Information".
I am not using a hardware wallet, but I think what he/she is implying is that he/she was unable to recover back the hardware wallet keys and addresses using electrum as wallet extension until he included the wallet name. I think what he is asking is that 'is it possible to access the hardware wallet keys and addresses directly on electrum without inputing the wallet name'.

Banning the president of Nigeria that is the will and the voice of the Nigerian people.
Nigerian president Twitter account was only suspended for 12 hours after tweeting about Biafra war that has occured in the past (correct me if wrong). That definitely means Yorubas and Biafra people that are agitating for their own nations can lead to war, if not what the president meant is that, but that is exactly what the tweet is portraying. Recently, Yorubas are seeking for their own nation, saying enough of suffering and Fulani herdsmen killings.
