Chess for bitcoins? Isn't Chess a little too exploitable as a game? I mean you could just have pretty strong Chess program running in the background and just copy moves from it.

Chess is definitely exploitable and you could just be playing against bots, that is why it has never been launched before. On first look the site looks good, but unless there is a way to avoid bots , it would be difficult to get players.

Oh come on. An avid chess player could beat even the most powerful bot. I'm pretty sure that chess is one of the hardest board games to "exploit" with automation. In the past there have been attempts to create multiplayer online board game lobbies with betting. Gambit.com would be an example. But it doesn't accept bitcoin any more.

I wish this website can become a great platform for chess because I love both chess and bitcoin.

An avid chess player cannot beat top-tier chess software, which is free. Stockfish has a rating of 3000+ and the top player in the world plays at a rating of ~2800

White Queen to F4 keeps H.M. on the fourth row but covers more of the table on three forward / diagonals.
Until Black drives it away with 9... Nd5.

At which point H.R.H. moves to G5 threatening the (other) Queen and is covered by both a knight in shining armour and a Bishop.

Which would clear the way for G2's Bishop to take out a8's Rook.

What are you talking about? Knight is on d5, remember? After Qxg5 Nxg5 Rb8, black is easily better.

BE AWARE OF THIS SCAM SHIT

Pretty obvious that it's a scam. Either you're trolling or are really new to ponzis and HYIPs. Come on, man... Promises of high return never yield if you put in a lot of money.

People need to read the terms first. Anyway, I went for the reddit giveaway! Thanks for the offer.
6426  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [ANN] BitClicker Bitcoin Clicking Game | Visit http://bitclicker.ga/ on: September 08, 2015, 12:13:45 AM
Stats
Bitcoins mined: 740.78M
Bitcoins click-mined: 195.62M
Bitcoins sold: 761.98M
Bitcoins click-sold: 21.5M
Total upgrades purchased: 43
Total USD earned: $32.96B
Total USD spent: $35.93B
Seconds spent playing: 467,392
Bitcoins mined per click: 1,757
Bitcoins exchanged per click: 1,107

It's hard to get the money for the expensive miners/exchanges.

I increased the prices since people were saying it was too easier...are they too high?

I believe that it is a little bit... hard to get the better upgrades. It takes a lot of time, to get from several large points in the game. Especially with the exchange feature.

I lowered the cost multipliers... let me know how that goes

Thanks! So much easier. The upgrades still take a while (from 5.1 bn to 120+ bn is a bit ridiculous) but at least the raw products are lowered significantly.

Faucets are decent. Free covering for transaction fees, eh?

Some of them are a bit more useful, though.
6429  Other / Off-topic / Re: Lets play a game of Chess on: September 07, 2015, 08:03:08 PM
I'm still recommending Qb3. The reasoning behind this, if you can see, is that d4 and d3 give him an advantage because he can insert the move b5, attacking the queen, kicking it away, and then playing Bb2.

He doesn't need to take the d4 pawn if d4 is played, because he can develop his bishop if we take on c, and d3 is very passive.

However, with Qb3, if he plays b5, we get to play whichever move matters more to the situation, getting more flexibility.

d3 enables you to develop the Bishop. I prefer it to d4 since the pawn is supported and I don't want the d pawn exchanged now.
I don't see how Qb3 helps because black can anyway play b5 followed by Bb7.

Think about this.

If we play Qb3 and black plays b5, we can even try to attack the queenside via a4.
There won't be time to play Bb7.
Say we play d3.
Then, black plays b5.
Then we have to play the queen back.
Then black can play Bb7.

Could you please rephrase your question?
It seems that you are asking the same question answered on post you quoted which is written by us.

Best of luck and best regards.

Let me try to find a way to state it...

Users deposit a small amount of bitcoins into your site.
They bid on all of the jackpots when there are a lack of players.
Eventually by doing this they can start raking in profits and even if new players come in, from their old winnings, they will just place more for free, without having any risk of their original deposit.

Pretty much within 48 hours you can make:

0.00004 BTC * 192 (0.25 hrs) = 0.00768000
0.00171 BTC * 94.42 (0.508333... hrs) = 0.16146885
0.00342 BTC * 44.3 (1.08333... hrs) = 0.15153230
0.01712 BTC * 23.04 (2.08333... hrs) = 0.39444480

Total: 0.71512595

The rich get richer. I keep seeing the same people betting, and I have no chance because I have no idea how much they've already gained from this. You can't possibly make any profit with 10% withdrawal free with this amount of free cash, and although you may have an Advertising Budget, I don't think you can afford 2.5 BTC every week (about 600 USD)

No, he is not (AFAIK) a PD mod.

Hello guys
Please check the rules about it

Entries will close 48 hours prior to this to avoid abuse!

I think you made the same mistake as I did. It is October not September. Wink

Is my second entry valid?

Primedice username: ndnhc
Primedice join date: Sep 14th 2014
Price you are guessing: $243.84

Had only noticed just now that the date is October, not September 5th...

If changing the guess before deadline is allowed, I'd like to change it to $700.99.
Otherwise, ignore this. Smiley

Edit: Seems like there are others who got it wrong too.

I actually saw the first post and made the mistake of thinking that entries closed 48 hours after the original post.
6432  Economy / Investor-based games / Re: PAYS EVERY THREE HOURS on: September 07, 2015, 07:26:12 PM
Seems like a bit of a flop, just the one investor oh well, sure they'll pop up again.

Maybe this time with a different title. I can see it now: "PAYS EVERY TWO HOURS"

Waiting for it.
6433  Economy / Gambling / Re: BidyBit.com -One cent Bitcoin bidding game - $11 477 won so far! on: September 07, 2015, 06:58:09 PM
How are you affording all the base jackpots? If players don't lose, i.e. spam the jackpots, then you'll just have a net loss.

Hi and welcome!
We take 10% withdrawal fee as it is said on the website and that is the only fee we take for our services.
We sponsor the standard Jackpot amount on each gaming slot from our Advertising Budget planned before for this project.
This is our way of advertising the game, so yes we will loose more than we gain at the start,
but this model apply's to almost every business online and offline.
Everyone is getting paid, and there are no complaints on that side,
so feel free to test out BidyBit, the minimum deposit is 1 cent and you can start bidding right away!
If any other questions arise, feel free to email us directly at: support@bidybit.com

Best of luck and best regards.

What are your thoughts on people who bet once, just for the jackpot? It's a get rich quick scheme, essentially, if not enough people are on to contest the jackpot.

for clarity.

OP should have referred the lender to this topic instead. he got the lender of that thread to send the loan to 1BPFKnxAENaxp26g8QbWKUWMuedRo5ZjDY and repaid using his current address.

That time I had an access on that btc address on my phone blockchain wallet. As I have explain in above referred topic, accidentally I have restored my phone and everything gone.

Alright. Should I send the bitcoins to this address? 1A7RdYVo6rVmPXLHeeHqnTym7otCNmCDPb

In the event that you do not manage to pay within a week, I will charge an additional 1% (compounding) for each late day.

Are these terms okay?

Don't worry, I will repay it on time and sure i will manage it. You agree not to take the interest. Am i right ?

If you repay it on time, there is no issue. Alright. Sent.

The main issue with that is that the address is signed by your newer one, instead of your old one. I really can't verify anything.

We need to get an escrow in here too. Both Quickseller and master-P seems offline atm Sad

Can you state the reason for taking the loan and how you intend to pay it back? (As in, how you'll get the money for this)
I want to buy myself something to eat, and I get paid tomorrow! I can provide screenshots if you want to.

Go ahead. There's no problem in adding extra layers!
