6421  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: multi currency paper wallet on: August 20, 2020, 10:22:48 PM
Coinbase is an exchange, AFAIK, you can't do it with them but I've found an old blog from them year dated 2013 that it's possible for bitcoin but I don't know if they still support it since it's 7 years that has passed.
It's too old, I bet coinbase already removed that option since the announcement got removed too [4]

Yes, it's too old and I'm not sure that it has been already removed. The link that you provided says error found. But, I guess it's okay to assume that it has been changed and no longer supported by Coinbase.
6422  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Stakenet (XSN) The KING of DEFI - Scaling solution for BTC and ETH on: August 20, 2020, 09:53:30 PM
There is already plenty of threads from the same people/bagholders shilling stakenet/XSN, there really isn't the need for yet another one.

Yes, it is promising but when it's the same members posting on a regular and frequent basis it will have the opposite effect and make folks wary.

Just my 2 cents.
It's true. I saw this kind of thread before and that's why it's very familiar to me and afterwards, I've read your comment so I remember it already.
Talking about DeFi when before, I haven't read that they are like that. Looking to it, it's starting to have greater volume.
6423  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Where Are You Next 5 Years? on: August 19, 2020, 11:53:58 PM
Hey.

You Think What Is Your Placement In The Crypto Currency In The Next 5 Years?
Being a holder won't change me. I'll sell but I'll still remain holding up to 5 years or more.
How Many Money You Earned That Time?
How I will know? no way to know how much I'll earn by that time.
And What Do You Want To Do With Your Earning? Cool
Retirement, enjoyment, business and other many things.
6424  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: multi currency paper wallet on: August 19, 2020, 11:32:33 PM
Hi
Is it possible to have a multi currency paper wallet? I want a paperwallet that can be used for bitcoin, ethereum and ripple.

Can someone recommend a website to create paperwallets? Is it possible to do this in Coinbase?

Thank you.

6425  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Eth address crossed $300 on: August 19, 2020, 10:45:08 PM
ETH's performance is really good, especially considering the fact that I purchased Ethereum for $ 120. I believe this trend will continue until the Ethereum 2.0 update and possibly beyond. But today I am concerned about the high transaction costs on the Ethereum network and how the developers are trying to fix this problem.
There's another delay for the 2.0 so it can be a long time before we see it, talking about how long, I mean about for several months. But what's important is that you have bought is at $120. Are you still holding it up to now? if you do so, you have made profit with it.
Wait until the transaction costs go a little bit lower, many transfers are happening so if you don't have any important transactions, don't do it.
6426  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: Opensea Collectible Item on: August 19, 2020, 10:23:08 PM
If it has a price of 1 ETH then the amount is 1 ETH. You can hover your mouse to the price and check if the sign is Ethereum and the amount is clearly visible how much it is. I haven't used opensea but also check how much the fees would be added to the major price.
6427  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: A crypto startup is now funding people in Bitcoin for delayed flights. on: August 19, 2020, 09:54:26 PM
It's an hour's delay and you'll be compensated for that, I've never heard of this before. Usually, in my country, if your flight is delayed they'll only apologize and no compensation or sort of freebies to be given.
How would this startup earn, what's their business model?
6428  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Mike Tyson vs Roy Jones Junior [PPV on Nov. 28] on: August 18, 2020, 02:45:53 PM
This might be dangerous for both heavyweights we all know that both boxer is a great boxer but their age is not for fighting anymore
We're all considering their age but look how they are training. Those training videos that they are showing to the public looks sweet. They look like they didn't get old and those punches that they're throwing can still knock someone down.
also they chose to have this exhibition fight without protective gears which may result to permanent or serious damage.
This match makes it more even legit without the gears as they're both from pro scene.

6430  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: about Airdrop in Telegram on: August 18, 2020, 12:34:00 PM
Why go on telegram when you can already see the best airdrops and bounties here. Most of the groups on telegram that post aidrops are scam, look for trusted groups that will you legit aidrops
Yes, it's true that many telegram channels are posting scam airdrops but we've seen some scam airdrops have also been found in here. Someone who looks for it needs to do research.
They are everywhere but it's rampant on TG channels.
6431  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ETH will touch 10,000$ to 12,000$ at the end of 2020. on: August 18, 2020, 11:23:24 AM
ETH at 10K means the market cap at 1.12 Trillion !!!!!

I dont see that happening for a long time. Bitcoin will take a while to get their. ETH/BTC ratio is currently 3.5% and at best it can hit is like 10%. So BTC needs to be at 10 Trillion market cap. That wont happen for a LONG TIME.
It will be long before we see that. I'm a ETH holder and as much as I want to believe, we'll just stick with the reality. I'm not being pessimist on this topic.
But it's a real deal, if we see it in the future, we will never know if we still have it.
6432  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Some good news / updates for XRP, NEO or EOS? on: August 18, 2020, 10:26:51 AM
I'll avoid XRP and EOS. Just research why I've said that. For NEO, you can earn GAS from it so I didn't remove it.
But it's all your preference and what you think about them. It's a nice way to get the thoughts of other people from those altcoins that you want to know more why they are passive while others are not.
6433  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: DASH - Good price to make an entry on: August 18, 2020, 07:28:19 AM
It's MN is very profitable for those who own it and that's why it's still kicking because AFAIK, it's the most expensive MN. It's also very good privacy. If you have the target when to sell, buy.
You seem to have a good entry and you have the price when to sell. But as you can see with the market, it's likely that it will be more than your target price.

MN gives investors really decent, with this current market run investing with old coin that have a good community support can bring better opportunities.

Most of the traders always look for good alternative aside from bitcoin traders also looking
for good alts and Dash as we know it is one of those pioneers that investors also considered
when looking for a good asset to hold.
Although it's expensive to get into MN but holding it as it is considers as a good coin to have. Dash has been long in the entire cryptocurrency market and it's a very good coin to hold if I have funds to distribute for this coin. Until now, I haven't invested on it as a I have a limited budget that's why those people who have it and especially having the MN of it, taking passive income daily. They're legends.
6434  Economy / Economics / Re: how in the world is btc at $12.303,28? on: August 18, 2020, 06:37:19 AM
Nobody is using their btc to buy goods/services ,i know do to fact i am accepting btc and no clients via btc this month ...zero orders via btc. No real liquidity ..people are just hording.
You sure? I did use it to pay for things that I want online and at the same time, I'm also holding. What's matter if we do what we want with the bitcoins we own?
I really hope i am not right about what i think it is as we will see btc worth 1-2 usd
OK.
And ethereum at $429,87 ....

Are people that stupid to forget that in March btc was at  8000 usd and eth  was at 130 usd .... ?
Did we forget bitcoin was on the line of $3,000 on 2018?
6435  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Rise Due to Lower US Dollar? on: August 18, 2020, 05:52:25 AM
Without the COVID-19 a few years ago, bitcoin was strong and US dollar was strong during that time. But it sums up to the speculation of most market watchers.
And don't you ignore that it's not all about US dollars weakening why bitcoin is rising this time.
I guess maybe the rise in bitcoin price is because of the Korean government removing the ban on people which was restricting them to deposit their korean money from the banks to bitcoin trading sites and exchanges. Although a lot of Korean people didn't know about the removal of this ban but maybe they are now becoming aware of it as the time passes by. Also the price increase can be dueled by various other factors like the unrest which is currently in America, inflation all around the globe which is causing the dollar value to fall so technically the bitcoin value should rise against a falling USD, the fed printing a lot of money for stimulus package and many other reasons can be included in the list as well
That can be another reason why. As I have said before, it's not just all about US dollar and let's add that it's not just basically all about one single news.
It's a compilation of most things and events that affects the demand of bitcoin as usual. But more good news, means that we're seeing a lighter side which what we see today.
6436  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: South Korea and Australia, they are bitcoin pro on: August 18, 2020, 04:08:47 AM
In Busan, visitor can pay service charges with byc/eth.
You mistyped BTC into BYC.
News about Australia accepting payments in bitcoin like its airport on Brisbane has been one of the biggest news ever as the first-ever, two years ago.
Australian airport becomes the first to accept Bitcoin

And regarding to South Korea they are really crypto friendly country, they also started accepting ETH
for every people who visit their beaches is some places.
The news regarding to this two countries will attract more people who are not that much familiar
about crypto not just bitcoin but the entire market itself.
Giving positive news like this will attract more readers and more interest out from people who are trying
to navigate in exploring crypto industries.
I've heard of that news. Each country that's aware of crypto's existing are doing whatever they can to adopt the technology and the new payment system because it's reliable and accountable, a very good for alternative payments. While the other countries that still don't like it, they're missing the game and a lot of opportunities to be given for their people. These countries will thrive together with the other crypto friendly countries that we have.

6439  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Covid-19 and Bitcoin on: August 16, 2020, 06:20:30 AM
Whichever the reason for bitcoin's price, it's a combination of many factors. But for the real factor, it has to do something with the bitcoin halving.
My question is are more people being initiated to Bitcoin and are Bitcoins scams more frequent because of covid-19?
The number of bitcoin scams never changed, bearish or bullish, they were there.
