I don't recall seeing Conradicals in that space before, what a nice way to jump into top 5, well done! 13 points for yellow cap, that's just a bit better than 2 weeks ago was 12.5 points for yellow cap or something.

Damned Villa burnt a lot of bets scoreless draws are coming back to EPL:)

It used to always be "tokens" or "coins" in the 2016/17 rally so you know this is all just for the "defi" or decentralized finance hype.

I guess you can see already defi is highly meme based too, used to be all kinds of food like sushi and farming and potato and yams, now it's all animals as you point out. Your instincts are not wrong. Stay away:)

two goals in Barca - Sociedad match, Sociedad scored first, but Barca is back in a jiffy, Alba scored for 1:1 at the moment
will be very interesting to see where Sociedad is this season, if they keep their point (or even three) on Camp Nou, it could be that they are heading to CL next season, keep it up

I'm pretty sure we'll see them in UCL next season. They have 2 routes now actually, top 4 finish in La Liga which isn't at all impossible if they maintain their form and the regulars like Barca keep tripping up. The second route is if they go on and win Europa League, which is also possible if they get past United first;)

Okay so I need to retract my statement because I am doing so bad this week. I am now one of the candidate for the next wooden spoon, along with 5 others that still has 0 points for now lol. This is probably my worst week so far

I was so close to get the exact score prediction for Liverpool vs Tottenham but the last minute goal ruined it for me. Unless Aston Villa and Manchester United ended winning tomorrow, I might have 0 points for this round. Dang there goes my 2nd position and bigger points gap to get the 1st position

Feel bad for you (but not really;) ). I started this pool pretty much in a bad way but slowly making my way up with some good results going my way.

Climbed 2 spots to just below our captain hilarious but I'm happy:) Did we all lose money on Southampton last night?Wink
6425  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is DeFi Dead? on: December 17, 2020, 12:29:20 PM
Seeing from some of the prices of crypto projects that use the Defi system, they still have high demand. because DeFi is a big step forward to democratize access to financial products, even though it carries huge risks due to unaudited smart contracts. but for now defi is still the top choice for crypto users

Huge demand, but most of it completely unsustainable. As soon as the increased incentives/rewards go out and run out, and maybe it won't for a year or so, these models have nothing else to sustain themselves because people always always move on to look for better profit. DeFi is good and the concept's amazing but the way their models are currently playing out, no way long term.
6426  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2020/21 on: December 17, 2020, 10:59:07 AM
I think that it will end in a draw.
You are wrong, Barcelona won the match.  Cheesy
Actually, Real Sociedad didn't play very badly. They can make many shots, even 5 on the targets, while Barcelona only made 4 shots on the target. Real Sociedad maybe just unlucky today. But it makes them never won again in the last 4 matches in La Liga. After an amazing performance in the early season, now they started bad performances. If they don't get the solution and improve it, Real Sociedad can drop from the top 3 on the table very soon.

It was pretty nervy apparently through the second half, but the highlights show me we're playing nice again, and got to remember this was against a good team too (Sociedad). Finally nice to see us back in top 5 of course we have 1 game in hand but nothing compared to atletico with 2 games in hand!

I prefer Barca to be more clinical anyway, tired of losing with 10 shots.

Watch out guys, I had a strong start to the week. 1 exact and 1 close. Is this going to be another underdog week? Feel tempted to change my picks accordingly, it's totally crazy as there are so many games, some are bound to rest players and maybe some even throw away games, if cup games are also coming up (when is FA cup and league cup, it feels like it should have come now).

Arsenal again favorite tonight but Southampton are unstoppable. Win/lose/draw is all good for our sponsor though. I took Arsenal+Barca: https://sportsbet.io/sharebetslip/6fc4ef54-0c16-43e2-9d03-bbb8bed260bf

Oooh is it funny I heard about ATH from Sportsbet thread?Wink

I like Koeman but I'm not happy with him at Barca currently, but he needs time, everybody does.
Big teams and title aspirants can't afford a lot of time. Results need to be delivered quickly, otherwise you lose your job. Unless Barcelona improves its league position until the restart of the Champions League, I think Koeman is likely to be sacked.

But that's the mistake a lot of big clubs make. Look at Chelsea paying the price for instant success and trying to get it again and again. Look at Liverpool who gave Jurgen 3 seasons to rebuild. He finished 7th place in his first season but they never pressured him. Not that I'm saying Koeman is the right direction but all big clubs have to reset their mindframe about instant results.
6429  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2020/21 on: December 16, 2020, 01:43:02 PM
In recent years Real Sociedad has always been floating in the middle of the standings yet this season they had an actual great start. Now, there is a big test versus Barcelona which will need to play their best game to beat la Real. It will be the game to watch. My pick for a result is draw.

Funny thing is the bookie odds still show Barca as the clear favorites. Exactly 1.5 or hovering around there on the bookie I use. Some places almost 1.60.

Hate to say it but this is great value for Real Sociedad to bet on, what do you think guys?
6430  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ BitcoinPRBuzz.com's ⚽ Spanish La Liga ⚽ Football Pool Discussion Thread on: December 16, 2020, 01:10:35 PM
At this rate, I don't know what to do. Spend time to make picks, no points. Pick everything randomly, no points. Wish I could see majority picks for Superbru but you can only use up free picks to do that.

You need to be more indulged in the league. For example, I don't watch Serie A much and have no idea how teams like Genoa or Benevento play so apart from 3-4 games, it would have been wild guesses for me if I joined Serie A pool. Hence, I restrained from that pool.

But La Liga for me is different, I regularly watch games for almost all La Liga teams so I can feel the soul and body of these games. Hence, I can more accurately predict La liga results than any other league. This week I spent considerable time making my picks and successfully predicted first win of the season for Huesca FC. I also predicted close-win for Sevilla and domination from Real Madrid which both turned out to be accurate as well. However, I was wrong on Barcelona (I thought they would score more) and Real Betis (whom I thought would win). But even after dominating the game, it ended in the first draw of the season for Betis.

Anyhow, on the contrary, I casually made my picks last week. I won't say those were random picks but instead of studying matches, I simply chose scorelines based on my past assessment of teams within seconds. As a result, I got well-deserved 'wooden spoon'.

So, my suggestion for you is to consider factors like head to head performances, formation home team using, how away team play in away games, is it enough to counter the home team's strategy, is any team missing major players, etc. This will hardly take 5-10 minutes but ensure more effective outcomes. Factors like current standings, performance in the league so far, etc. don't matter much. We saw this week how Eibar dominated Real Sociedad in away game.

Of course. That's the only way to be "good" at any league, and that's a problem for most of us in Asia to be honest, it's impossible to watch all the games if we have a real life, but to be fair, I am pretty confident I know enough about my own team (Barca), and have been doing well up until this season on betting on them.

Rest of the teams though, I have to admit I'm just swinging for the bat most days. Thanks for the tip though!

Always have a benefit of the doubt, only the top 5 coins in the market deserves our trust other coins are still struggling, they can still fail and leave the project, if you invested on these kind of coins always get an update and news about their progress and if there's a hint that they are changing direction then by all means leave the project, do not have attachment to these kind of projects.

Those were the famous last words of coins like Bitconnect and Onecoin, though! They were for a very long time in Top 3 by marketcap, so I would say let's not jump to conclusions just because of capitalization random rankings.

Just look at Bitcoin and Ethereum, and the seriousness their users and developers have, actual economies, not vaporware.

Speaking of Southampton, maybe one day they can appoint Ronald Koeman as coach again.

Currently coach can Barcelona, but he makes a big mess of it. Southampton might not be a bad option for him.

He didn't do very bad then, did he? I do not rule out that Koeman will be out on the street in a few months.

But what's wrong with the current Southampton setup? Koeman already has his hands full, and everyone knew Barca rebuild would take time. Even us fans are tired of the instability. If the players back him and so do the board I see no reason for them to go and find yet another coach with no guarantee of change in results.

Why on earth would Southampton change coach now? They’ve had their best start ever to a PL season (correct me if I’m wrong on that).

It’s a really weird season, the big teams are dropping points. Saints have a real chance of getting CL football via a top 4 finish. If they could do it then it’s be huge for them & amazing for sportsbet.io, imagine the promo & coverage sportsbet.io would get being seen on the TV whilst Saints are in the CL.

The form Saints are in Ralph Hasenhüttl has one of the safest jobs in football plus Koeman is stinking the place out with Barcelona & he has much better players. It’s a no on Koeman from me.

Exactly why I'm wondering why anyone would want Koeman to come back to Southampton right now!

This is really almost like the Leicester season, when all the big teams were playing like crap. That time it was Chelsea flirting with relegation zone, now it is Arsenal. City really don't look like themselves for a long time and Liverpool are dropping 11 points in 1/4 of the season already. I like Koeman but I'm not happy with him at Barca currently, but he needs time, everybody does.

Southampton in UCL will be well deserved too.

Aaand we're back below 50 cents again for the past two days:) Not sure I understand why XRP hasn't gone along for the ride of BTC and ETH now that they are again picking up speed but I guess the initial 100% pump must be taking its correction toll as we were expecting for a while.

$1 still our dream I guess!

Nice catch on lotto for those guys with less than 100 tickets. Still dreaming of my own big win with small chances;)

2 of my past 3 roulette spins have been free tickets (50 actually each) so I don't mind all those bonus tickets. I see it as free tickets from 25 freerolls I don't have to play.

Nice wins, FBC!

After the 2-1 home win againts barcelona cadiz wasnt even able to score againts selta fiego and they get 4 goals in 45 min...maybe they enter the match with overconfidence and they quickly payed the price but they always in a good position

I totally agree with you that Cadiz is too confident after beating Barcelona, so when they faced Celta Vigo they underestimated Celta Vigo,
which has a player quality below Barcelona. And finally in the first half they conceded 4 goals straight away, I'm sure Cadiz's players were
surprised by the results of the first half. Although the position on the Cadiz table is still better than Celta Vigo, but this is a lesson for Cadiz
to always give the best whoever his opponent is.

To be fair Cadiz were the big underdogs in the game and the Barca game was so much about freakish defending and shitty performance from my team rather than a brilliant one from Cadiz. Last night was a true demonstration of La Liga versus Segunda;) Eventually the table doesn't lie, right?
6436  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Cardano Price Prediction 2020-21 !!!!!! on: December 14, 2020, 02:51:35 PM
How good the roadmap doesn't guarantee the price of ADA could reach $1. Bitcoin needs to be doubled to make ada can reach such price again. The fundamental of project is also being affected by another factor.
It's impossible for ada to reach its ATH again this year or next year. We should wait until the next decade to see ada will worth $1 for each ada coin again.

Yeah, as much as I like a roadmap more than the next guy, or whitepaper for that (who reads them these days anyway right?), I don't think ADA's going to do a Ripple until it gets the same sort of buyin from institutionals, who really need to get in on any crypto project now rather than mainstream users (we know that's a myth anyway). I bought my ADA believe it or not. Worthless now and sitting doing nothing. Still wish it the best, but I'm not spending more time on it.

Ethereum is the king of altcoins and it should be. Comparing with the other altcoins Ethereum is the most popular and people are comfortable with Ethereum. This is in the second  position of cryptocurrency so Ethereum is the king of altcoins.

When every other altcoin almost is basing their land on the Ethereum fiefdom then yeah, I think ETH should be king. With everyone else paying tribute to it. Staking may mean later that miners drop out but I feel like there is plenty in terms of rewards and miner fees to feed them later with the ecosystem sure to grow. It'll survive:)

valencia are sponsored by B-Win so what would you expect ? They're the most unpredictable team in LaLiga and no one really bets on them because of the sponsor. I personally tried them once or twice and it was a mess just like you said in your post. Whenever you bet to win , they lose and when you bet on a draw, they win and furthermore when you bet them to score ...they will make 0-0...

Every season you have these spoiler teams. They will not go anywhere in any competition, they may not even be bad enough to relegate, but they will keep eating up points and cause injuries to other good squads. I mean no disrespect to them, not at all, but they should be better than this:P

Anyway, thankful for the Barca win. We didn't play so badly either. I know it's Levante but after losing to Cadiz...
6440  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ BitcoinPRBuzz.com's ⚽ Spanish La Liga ⚽ Football Pool Discussion Thread on: December 14, 2020, 09:12:38 AM
I didn't expected such big dominance from Real Madrid today. They've been unstable this season so far, but now they have good period - wins in La Liga against direct competitors Sevilla and Atletico and crucial win in Champions league. Meanwhilwe Atletico suffered first defeat this season and probably it was their worst game so far. But they are still leading league.

That perfect run had to end somewhere, though I really thought they would make the most out of the opportunity to make a statement in La Liga. Still, they're in pole position and have plenty more games to go. Plus Real and Barca have more than enough on their hands to keep them busy. Open season still valid!
