Infrastructural deficiency is a major problem militating against the development of Africa.
Electricity and internet the two major tools towards development of blockchain technology is virtually in non existence except in some few countries, like South Africa and the Arab countries, other countries has epileptic supply of electricity and blockain technology can be achieved by deployment of internet which will turn around the fortunes of people in the continent.
6424  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Richest Saudi's Prince Statement on: October 29, 2017, 12:29:57 PM
What can you say about Prince  Alwaleed bin Talal of Saudi Arabia's  statement that bitcoin will collapse like Enron? Do you guys think that it will have significant value on the prices?
Obviously  the prince statement has no significant effect on the price of bitcoin, what yardstick did he use to make such a statement? Is he a central bank governor or an economist? May be he used that statement to scare potential buyers of bitcoin in Saudis Arabia anyway his statement does not hold water.

6426  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Future of bitcoins on: October 28, 2017, 10:43:03 PM
The future outlook of bitcoin is very promising going by the acceptance of the cryptocurrency by people globally.
Everyday more peoples, companies, schools, restaurants e.t.c have started adopting bitcoin as a means of payment this will limit the involvement of banks in transaction of the bitcoin.
Banks being third party will not be involved and as such no tax or any fee will be deducted by the banks apart from transaction fee.
6427  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why some people prefer Bitcoin over fiat ? on: October 28, 2017, 04:17:54 PM
People prefers bitcoin over fiat because of it's increasing price, people who bought at lower price few months ago will have made appreciative profit now unlike fiat saved in a bank will have a small interest accrued to it, bitcoin is a very volatile cryptocurrency it has a tendency to increase it's rate within a shortest period of time.
6428  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Other Bitcoin forum on: October 28, 2017, 07:20:31 AM
Bitcointalk is the best bitcoin related forum in the world, I have tried a couple numbers of forums like bountyportals, bitcoingarden e.t.c none of  which is as organised and well planned as bitcointalk, beside earning bitcoin here this forum is full of information on bitcoin and altcoins, getting news about ICOs.

6430  Economy / Speculation / Re: Why do we keep converting bitcoin back to dollars ? on: October 28, 2017, 05:10:53 AM
In my country virtually non of the business centres accepts bitcoin as a means of payment of goods and services as a result I just have to convert my bitcoin back to dollars and finally to my local currency at an agreed rate with my exchanger.
I hope to see more businesses accepting bitcoin in a few years to come.

6432  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin in College??? on: October 27, 2017, 03:36:58 PM
In my country bitcoin is never taught in colleges and there is no plan to include bitcoin in the syllabus, in fact just 1% of the total population knew bitcoin, unless awareness about bitcoin is encouraged else people will pay little attention to bitcoin, if government supports bitcoin initiatives then more people will use bitcoin.

6435  Economy / Economics / Re: What would be the possible impact of BTC in the economy of a country? on: October 27, 2017, 08:11:18 AM
Bitcoin earned when offering online services for a foreign client will bring inflow of money for those offering such services and those bitcoin earned will be exchanged to fiat and increase their purchasing power of those individuals and this will be used to buy goods and services in that country leading to increment of manufacturing companies producing more goods and government will collect their taxes from these companies and this will improve the economy.
6436  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Best fibonacci levels to buy at? on: October 27, 2017, 06:57:31 AM
Fibonacci levels alone cannot be used to determine where to buy  alone there are other tools to be considered like support level, particularly level 50% and 61.8% are two perfect level but works well on price pullback or retracement  consider using higher timeframe like daily timeframe because it is less volatile unlike the lower timeframes.
6437  Economy / Speculation / Re: Report: Bitcoin to $25,000 by 2022 on: October 27, 2017, 02:17:05 AM
Anyway this is just a technical analysis of the predictions  of bitcoin reaching $25,000 in 2022
Personally  I believed that the price of bitcoin is not only determined by technical analysis but also fundamentals such as high impact news, hardfork (segWit) therefore there are many of such before that year and this can make or mar the price of bitcoin but let us be optimistic that the speculations  will come to pass.
6438  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Investing all my savings! on: October 26, 2017, 05:19:23 AM
Hello guys! I am planning on investing all my savings (12500$) in cryptocurrency, so I would really like to hear your opinion. My current plan is to split it in to 3 :
-50% bitcoin.
-25% ethereum.
-25% litecoin.

I am investing the money at the next dip.
Please post your opinion guys.

Edit: I should mention that this is for a longtherm hold, about 5-10 years

Sorry for my bad english, but I am better reading it than writing it.. :p
My advice to you is to split your fund into two I.e 50:50 then invest 50% into Cryptos like,
25% bitcoin.
12.5% ethereum.
12.5% litecoin.
And invest the remaining 50% into other businesses or preferable saving it.
Doing this will reduces or minimizes any risk to your investment.
6439  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: is it risky to turn all my money to bitcoins? on: October 26, 2017, 03:10:36 AM
It is a complete risk to turn all my money to bitcoin, although presently price of bitcoin is on the rise and doing well in the market but what if the price suddenly crash?  may due to a policy by countries that are major stakeholders this will be disastrous and catastrophic because many people will lose money.
Personally I prefer sharing my money into two I.e 50:50 I will turn 50% to bitcoin and save 50%.
