Many accounts like that:

[,. /,. /]

Didn't he mention 1 special character? Those accounts doesn't meet his criteria  Grin

Also, why are so being so rude? Is it a new way of begging merit? Sorry but seems to be true.

~snip~
Jet Cash has once merited 1 plagiarized post. It's really hard to find out the plagiarized post while you are going to +Merit. In this case, we can use plagiarism checker for being ensured that we are not wasting our sMerits.

@OP
you are putting some great effort for giving sMerits. This is what a merit source should be. Thank you for your effort.

#off-topic
In addition, the data given by mark x are also not correct. Avg block time for DeepOnion is 48 seconds which is faster than most coins listed there. Sorry for being little off topic.
6444  Other / Meta / Re: Merit source application on: October 01, 2018, 07:35:03 AM
@Don Pedro Dinero
I think you have missed the point. r1s2g3 is talking about specific feedback left by Lutpin.

@mdayonliner
It's true that the chance of being a merit source is lower but it doesn't mean that you are incapable. I think theymos will consider your posts and quality. Also, those feedback has nothing to do with being a merit source.
We need some more source and you deserve to be one. Keep up the good work.
6445  Other / Meta / Re: How NEWBIES are treated on: October 01, 2018, 07:26:29 AM
I can't agree with you. For your info, I'm also a newbie and somehow I got 2 merit. Doesn't it prove that newbies are treated in a proper way.
Newbies are treated in such way (as you mentioned) only if he/she is merit beggar, you can easily find out who is here for merit or real interest. What you have to do is only check newbie's post history before +1 merit a post.
6446  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Block Explorer Question on: September 26, 2018, 07:31:32 PM
I don't know too much about masternode and how it actually works.
However, I google the same question you asked and got it- https://github.com/iquidus/explorer/issues/134
It may help you.
6447  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Some suggestion while advertising in signature space. on: September 26, 2018, 05:29:39 PM
Don't participate in the campaigns which are not started by
 - A reputed campaign manager
Agreed. This one is important as reputed campaign manager will do research before starting a campaign.

But, aren't we encouraging people to continue campaign even with newbie rank? I mean the copper membership. Anyone can start a bounty, post an ANN. Also, there should have certain rules for being a campaign manager which may ensure us less scam project or whatever from the current situation.
6448  Other / Meta / Re: Can we have a local thread? on: September 26, 2018, 05:02:42 PM
I don't understand what is stopping you from starting your own thread.
It's not allowed not to create a new thread in other languages section, at least I can't see.
@OP
Keep trying to contact Cyrus through PMing several weeks. I believe he will allow you to do so. I have seen recently someone has added a Bangladeshi local thread.

It's not allowed not to create a new thread in other languages section, at least I can't see.

As far as I know, a user only with a rank of Sr. member or above can start new threads in that section.
If so, OP can't create a thread. Better to contact and be sure how this guy mdayonliner has created.
6449  Other / Meta / Re: Enhanced newbie restrictions & requirements on: September 26, 2018, 11:34:47 AM
And the next post after mine, where written almost the same idea, besides post wrote pretty simple, and this post looks like "Shitpost", recieves a Merit.
It was not same idea. I have translated (With Google Translator) and got nothing same between two.
You have shared the problems and thoughts on how can get merit and the next person shared what he/demoted member faced after the new system. In my opinion, no one deserves to be merited but it depends on various person's thoughts. Also, it can be abused too.
6450  Other / Meta / Re: Enhanced newbie restrictions & requirements on: September 26, 2018, 10:08:12 AM
To draw the attention of sources of merit to a good post, where to can I write in this case?
I am sharing my story only.
I registered here before the new 1 merit requirement but I was not active. The day I returned I saw lots of people were complaining about the new system. However, I didn't have any intention of gaining merit. I was reading an article posted by a newbie and I felt I read it somewhere else. At last, I found the original link and made comment here with the link. After a couple of minutes, I realized I got a merit. I had no intention of achieving merit but I got one from my 2nd post here.
Moral of the story- Don't run after merit, rather engage with people with meaningful posts. You will get merit automatically.
6451  Other / Meta / Re: Plagiarism is on the rise - be vigilant. on: September 26, 2018, 09:59:24 AM
~
The best one I used till now- https://smallseotools.com/plagiarism-checker/
It has 2000 words limit. Also, I got a 100% correct result. It provides the original posts too.
6452  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Why I can't give merit to anyone ? on: September 25, 2018, 09:16:29 PM
Here question is what I asked through the title of this post
I doubt you have read the the announcement thread of merit by theymos in which it is clearly stated that you will get sMerit by default only if you were active. Reference-

For current members, your initial merit score is equal to the minimum required to your rank. Of that, a certain amount (less than the usual half) is spendable. The spendable amount was calculated based on your current rank and the number of activity points you earned in the last year. A Legendary member who hasn't posted in the last year would still be Legendary, but would not have any spendable merit.

we were comfortable in past time of 1 year back without merit system , can anyone tell me ?
As far as I know, in last 1 year, bitcointalk got more than 1 million users. Imagine how much bitcointalk has been changed. I know it is not unknown to you  Grin
The reason behind the change was lots of people were getting higher ranked while they didn't deserve to be. Thus the portion of shitposts were also increasing.

#Off-topic
It's interesting see you woke up suddenly after almost 2 year and the very first post is about merit.
6453  Other / Meta / Re: My effort to find merit abusers on: September 25, 2018, 08:22:30 PM
From the above list, I randomly took 5 uid and checked.

2 users received merits from nick777 who was tagged abusing merit after the new system. Merited posts are from local board where people can easily abuse.

2 users received merits from sergio red which seems also an abuse to me. He sent both at 4 minutes different on September 19th. I checked the users local time and all of the three are from same zone. Seems they are alt from sergio. Again, the posts he merited, was not worthy in my opinion. It may vary in others opinion though.

The 5th one got merit from someone which seemed fair. It was also in local board, I translated the topic. It was something like, "ETH will be pumped soon." or something like that which was also not worthy actually, imo.

From the above list, I can assume that 80% of those are abusing merit system. Now, it's time we had some proof so that DT can paint them with their reward.
6454  Other / Meta / Re: So I've Become a Merit Source... Need Some Advice on: September 25, 2018, 08:01:09 PM
As far as I know, you get a certain amount of sMerit when you're a source. When you "spend" it it will be replenished the same date next month.

In theory, if you don't spend your assigned merit you won't get it back the next month so, it's almost how budgets are made - spend or loose Smiley

At least that's how I understood it, others feel free to correct me if I am mistaken.

As far as I know, you will receive a specific amount of sMerits as long as you are a merit source.
Every merit source doesn't spend a lot of time here. So, they may not be able to spend all the sMerit they receive per period.
Let's asume, merit source "A" got 30 sMerits and he used only 3 of them? Won't he get sMerits again? If he doesn't get sMerit next month, it means merit sources have to spend all the sMerits.
I don't think everyone sources are too active. Some may be busy with real life and missed one period.
So, as per my theory, it doesn't matter whether they used or not, they will receive a specific amount.
6455  Economy / Reputation / Re: Neg trust appeal on: September 25, 2018, 10:52:37 AM
This trust issue has not always been down with me.
I have a couple of times contemplated reporting a post or a user but what if out of spite I get a retaliatory neg trust?
their trust is useless.
Not exactly, if I'm not wrong.
Every negative/positive feedback get added to your profile. Feedback from DT are trustworhty while from normal member, it is not. That's the difference. You can see all the feedback you get and all you give. Also, you can see other people's feedback given by normal member.
6456  Other / Meta / Re: please help newbie can sent message or received message on: September 24, 2018, 08:30:18 PM

6457  Economy / Reputation / Re: Negative trust for an opinion? on: September 24, 2018, 06:56:43 PM
@OP
I don't think Feedbacks are moderated.
Your concept made Vod feeling that you are not a guy whom people can trust. Therefore, he has the rights to paint you. Also, I don't think there is a problem in continuing your account with the red tag as long as you are not thinking about the signature campaign, although it's off-topic.
6458  Other / Meta / Re: Need help My bitcointalk account get banned!!!!! on: September 24, 2018, 09:42:35 AM
983 posts and only 1 merit? Obviously a shitposter. But just for kicks, let's take a look at that 1 merited post of yours:
Yes. I am a bounty hunter.

Well, theymos should introduce another paid membership "Bounty Hunter Membership"  Grin
