I Can't belive I have to repeat this even

cryptoboss2020 doesn't trust cryptocurrencies Smiley
Statistics and polls show that every year more people trust bitcoin

https://tokenist.com/bitcoin-survey-2017-vs-2020/

"Results
Our results showed a significant increase in positive sentiment regarding BTC as a long term store of value.

Over 45% of respondents preferred Bitcoin over stocks, real estate, and gold.
61% of the total respondents (and 78% of millennials) are now somewhat familiar with BTC, and 14% of millennials have owned the asset.
60% of respondents felt that Bitcoin is a positive innovation in financial technology, an increase of 27% in three years.
47% of respondents trust Bitcoin over big banks, an increase of 29% in the past three years.
43% of respondents, and 59% of millennials, feel that most people will be using Bitcoin within the next decade.
In 2020, 44% of millennials report that they are likely to buy BTC in the next five years.
More than one in three millennials would hold onto Bitcoin they are given, while a slightly smaller number (27%) would immediately sell it.
39% of male millennials now have no problem with the intangible nature of BTC, and a quarter of millennials as a whole report the same attitude.
Just 24% of millennials think that Bitcoin is a bubble, though 50% of the over-65s do."
6442  Economy / Speculation / Re: Explained - The Road to $100k Is Underway on: November 30, 2020, 04:28:02 PM
I wouldn't be surprised that on the way to 100,000, market makers will shave hamsters a few more times. On the one hand, it is good that many investors buy bitcoins not
for speculation on the stock exchange, but for long-term investments.
But on the other hand, it is very difficult to say where the bitcoin price will go in the near future.

Your suggestion to use "Bitcoin block" for selection  the winners is seems to be the best approach to find those who get rewards.
That's not what I said. I suggest this only for the $50 voting prize winner.
I thought about it, but I got the idea that if I did so, then I could be accused of mistrust of the forum participants.
If you have an offer and are ready to pick a winner, post it, I will add these terms to the rules and give my $ 50 to the winner.

Из этого  берете все цифры:  00000000000000000009462140424701763516689493, затем для удобства только последние 9 цифр:: 516689493.

№2

Additional reward from user zasad@: $ 50 in BTC

The hash of the first mined block from December 17, 2020 will be used.

Thanks for the idea LoyceV
Calculation example:
How about this: After locking the topic on December 16, you post a numbered list (start with number 0, not 1) of qualifying candidates. Don't edit that post anymore.
When that block is mined, and let's take block 659343 as an example, you take the hash:
00000000000000000009a4f6f21e40f4c24eb7d0d17be6f35166c894ed93cccf
From this, you take all numbers: 00000000000000000009462140424701763516689493, then for convenience the last 9 digits only: 516689493.
Say the list is:
Code:
0. userA
1. userB
2. userC
....
69. userBQ
To get the winner, you divide 516689493 by 70 (one more than 69) and take the remainder: 33. User #33 on the list wins.

Start & End

Start: November 30, 2020 (after sponsor's introductory post)
End: December 15, 2020

On December 16, the topic will be locked for summing up. The results will be published in this thread: (Discussion) Best Bitcointalk Interview

This topic is self-moderated, all posts that violate the voting rules will be deleted.
6450  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: SHARE YOUR EXPERIENCE on: November 29, 2020, 09:38:40 PM
I had experience of earning money on airdrops, and I will say that in most cases it is a waste of time. I have a number of different tokens on my wallet worth 10-15 dollars from various airdrops, but most of them are not traded on uniswap.
To sell them, I will have to register on various exchanges, but I don't want to.
Instead, look for promising coins and invest in them.
I advise you to start studying with Polkadot.
6451  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is NFT? on: November 29, 2020, 08:39:31 PM
Fungible tokens (FT) and Non Fungible Tokens (NFT) is't new idea but recently it has come to light with few new projects. Fungible  is changeable or replaceable or interchangeable. Non Fungible is just opposite of Fungible. It is not interchangeable or replaceable. I still don't rely on this trend and i consider it's a new hype.
Many DeFi projects have recently released their own NFTs. I think this is almost like a game where you can collect an NFT and you will get benefits or profit when you hold it, like getting an airdrop or something else
In this thread, I collect all interesting projects and games that use NFT tokens.
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5278144.0
This market is constantly growing, and new interesting projects appear every month. But the biggest prospect for these tokens is blockchain games.
Gamers are ready to spend huge money on skins.
6452  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: DeFi & NFT tokens project on: November 29, 2020, 08:32:46 PM
Honestly I never invest into any NFT ever, no collectibles no nothing. I never really understood the concept and I never will. It just doesn't sound like a proper investment to me and it is not there for real and I get that digital currencies may feel like they are not there neither but you can actually buy something with them as we all know, whereas you can't really buy anything with NFT, it is just... unique useless thing.

I get that art may worth something, like buying a Picasso is not just for hanging on your wall, it is an investment as well but it is never really just an investment neither, it is desired and a power symbol. These things do not have that at all, they are totally useless and they are unwanted and they became something everyone forgets very quickly.

People are divided into 2 categories: analog and digital. The older generation is the analog generation, for example:

https://twitter.com/SquawkCNBC/status/1232272324491173888
Warren Buffett said: "I don't own any cryptocurrency. I never will."

And the younger generation, who loves modern digital things, will give preference to NFT tokens and cryptocurrencies.
NFT tokens do not need complex and expensive expertise, special storage and restoration services Smiley

I do not really understand the meaning of this bill.
Let's say I withdraw bitcoins from the exchange address to another address (I can declare that this is my address, that is, I move the cryptocurrency between my wallets).
Legal requirements have been met.
Well, then I can dispose of my funds as I want. I am not obliged to set the owner of the wallet to whom I will send my funds?

gettocat будем следить за практикой.  Я в этом году выведу последние активы с криптобирж.

I am ready to say thank you to this company for promoting Bitcoin to the whole world. But I do not recommend using their services to buy cryptocurrencies.
Users need to read a lot of small print in their user agreements.
It is sad that many people will get the first negative experience when using large custodial services.

6460  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ETH high gas fee on: November 27, 2020, 01:08:56 PM
I have paid a transaction fee of more than $ 5 but I think it's still worth it when claiming an airdrop from Uniswap. It is common for transaction fees on ethereum to change depending on whether the ethereum network is busy or not. Hopefully the launch of ETH 2.0 will reduce transaction costs
The launch of Ethereum 2.0 will not affect transaction costs in any way. It will be possible to transfer tokens only after phase 2 (they promise in 2022),
and before that the network will work with the same fees. I saw an EIP where most of it will be burned and not given to the miners.
But this is only a temporary solution.
