6441  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: INSANE BITCOIN TRANSACTION FEES!!!<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<< on: November 21, 2017, 07:36:04 PM
I pay 10-30 Sat/B and I don't think this is too much. People that pay more are either rich or newbies.
Completely the same on how we gonna set-out our fees depending on our needs and do suits us. Its not really necessary for me to have fast confirmations this is why i dont really worry too much on these kind of things since i can set-out lesser the amount that have been suggested by the network. If its not needed then better to change it and make it lower but if you are in a rush then sacrifice on paying up huge fees which is really a dumb thing for me and wasting off money.
6442  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Warning aceminers.com is a scam on: November 21, 2017, 07:00:37 PM
I am guilty of trying to get involved in bitcoin too fast.   I placed an order and sent BTC to aceminer.com thinking I finally found a place that is selling the S9 for only a little over the bitmain price. WRONG!  I am out $2k and have no other option to deal with my loss besides posting here help someone else avoid the mistake.   I am kicking myself for an expensive lesson learned. I can see the address I sent my funds to is receiving money in the same rough increments about 1-2/hr.

This is unbelievable and disappointing in myself and others that go to his effort to steal!

Hope someone will avoid the mistake I just made.

Its really a hard lessons to learn buddy. There are a lot of scam sites out there trying to get advantages of bitcoin becoming famous. I guess this is just one of thousands websites out there victimizing unsuspecting individuals of their hard earn money.

Not to rub it in but you should be willing to pay premium if you are really into mining, there's no such thing as cheap mining hardware or at a discounted price. Anyways, yes, thank you for posting this here so that it will others who are thinking of buying on that website should have a fair warning.
Its not just hard but a costly way on learning up things on our mistakes that we done.Just been suggested above it would be more appropriate to post this thread on scam accusations so that public would really be aware on this scam site and would avoid those newbies to fall on buying miners on this website. It is already obvious that this is just a fraud and just luring in people who are zero knowledge on these kind of things.
Sorry for your lose mate,i know its not easy since that amount isnt small after all.
6443  Economy / Economics / Re: Crypto is an Asset or Currency? on: November 21, 2017, 05:57:30 PM
Cryptocurrency is both. They are both asset and also currency at the same time because with cryptocurrencies we can use them to make a complete purchase online and execute a safe payment system and we can also just hold them and keep them for long term and have some chance to make a lot of money with it.
I do not see any signs of bitcoin currency. You can now make purchases directly with bitcoin. You can not officially change their bitcoins in the Bank. Bitcoin is very similar to traveler's checks. He has value but only under certain conditions. If tomorrow the exchange and the online exchange will stop working we will figure it out.
If we do try to look on the current situation of Bitcoin it is not really being accepted yet on any parts of the world or globally which we can really say that treating it as a currency would really have still some limit unlike on our traditional fiats and also most holder of bitcoin do really treat it as an asset because of its earning money possibility specially for long term basis.People do have different treatment though and do have different beliefs but this would base on case to case situation on where a certain bitcoin holder do live.
6444  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ICO Is Really A Good Investment or Not? on: November 20, 2017, 09:22:38 PM
I think it good investment, because cryptocurrencies actively develop now. Maybe this is the future of the world economy.
Investing in ICOs is very risky if you think about it. It could be a great investment or a bad investment and there are many factors which help in deciding this. Personally, I have not lost any money with any ICO yet since I invest in very few ICOs which I choose based on a lot of research and my own gut feeling. I have been right most of the time and there is a lot luck involved here too. No one can assure anyone whether investing in any specific ICO would be a good or bad deal. It all comes down to you at the end.
I agree on the fact that it do somehow need luck for you to be profitable on this field and i can say you are lucky on this ICO investing since you havent still able to commit loss of money which is great since we do know investing on ico can really generate good profits if the project did boom up its price. There are some instances that even if you do make research on a good project, good whitepaper, nice devs but some of them do still end up on failing and thats part of the risk which no matter how good you are these kind of experience wont really be avoided to be experienced.
6445  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Where can i report a crypto crime? on: November 20, 2017, 08:53:24 PM
You can report it at any police, that is if your country do have cybercrime law. If it was hacked then it should fall under cybercrime easy but I wonder how do the scams like some ICO I know. Should it fall under estafa or theft? There is not enough law out there that protects us investors against these type of cybercrime.

I agree. Report it immediately to the nearest police station so you have a basis as to when the incident occurred. Although yes, there are loopholes in our current laws. There are no dispositions as to how we should treat cryptocurrencies. Either it will fall under a certain umbrella or the criminal can very well escape his wrongful deed because of the dearth of law as to some matters that need to be addressed.
This is the sad reality even if our country do have cybercrime division but it wont really assure you to help you out on your case specially if you got scammed by an ICO or beings hacked or scammed by someone who do took your bitcoins or any altcoins. Tracing those suspects itself would really consume time and i wont be sure if you do make try to explain to them on what happened that they will surely understand knowing that not all cybercrime divisions do have much knowledge on cryptos and im really very sure on that one.
6446  Economy / Securities / Re: How do you decide which ICO to invest in? on: November 20, 2017, 07:41:42 PM
There are many ICO and you have to be careful before investing your money in any of them.
Cryptocurrency world is in its first stages therefore it is normal to find many scams and unexperienced people trying to lead big projects.
I advise you to read carefully the whitepaper (many neglect this point), know more about team members behind the project and try to assess the feasibility of the project.
When you choose which ĚCO you will invest your money in, wait for sales, you can get good discount.
Why people neglect? When we do try to look and see how many ico as of now we would really put it on our minds that checking each of whitepaper would really takes time this is why most of us would really neglect on reading up those things which is one of the most important thing when we do decide to invest on project. One of the strongest thing i do rely on is on its developers because if once i do see that they are capable and experienced enough on such field high chances of that project will succeed or progress later on.
6447  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: is our coin safe in etherdelta? on: November 20, 2017, 07:13:21 PM
hi the masters in bitcointalk

most every altcoin works with ETH wallet, and we get the coin through our ETH address. if we sell the coin in Etherdelta market. in etherdelta we are told to import our ETH address and Privat key from our ETH address.

The question of whether the coin coin at our own ETH address will be safe, because directly the privatkey of our ETH address is already on the Etherdelta site?

Etherdelta is a decentralized exchange which means they dont have the information that you have putted on the site.Even you input your privatekeys on there it is guaranteed safe as long you are the ones who are using that browser on that time. This is the goodness of using decentralized exchange which you can directly import your mew account details and trade up directly on the coin you do like to trade. The thing here is that when you are still a newbie you would really be confused on how this exchange works specially on selling and buying stuff on here.
6448  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 10k Bitcoin upcoming!? What are your plans for the Alts? on: November 20, 2017, 05:39:00 PM
Anyone feeling the way I am: Bitcoin is about to jump up to 10k!

We have broken 8k and the next stop seems to be 10k. This would mean a 25% increase in the price. If Alts follow the pattern from before (Bitcoin Gold and Segwit 2x forks) we can expect a drop of 30-40% in the Alts. I will probably sell my Alts and wait for the coming drop. Or does anyone think that Alts will rise along with Bitcoin? What are your plans for the Alts in the coming week/month?
No one can tell since altcoins price doesnt anytime correlated to bitcoins price which if btc price would go up it would go up also. This is not the case and we do have already seen the situation on where on those time where there a price increase rally on bitcoin and all alts are going down almost reaching out 50% which it would really be a disaster for those who do hold up coins but yet its not really ideal to sell out on loss on alts. Instead of doing that better to buy even more cheaper alts on those times because it will surely pay off when price tends to recover again.
6449  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: how can bitcoin survive with 26 USD transaction cost? on: November 20, 2017, 04:50:31 PM
i have recently done 2 bitcoin transactions and i had to pay in total 52 usd in transaction costs,

how can bitcoin be used if it is more and more undividable, because smaller transactions arent wort it anymore?

introducing new forks and splits like bitcoin cash bitcoin gold decreases the trust and people start consider it a manipulated centralised pyramid system.

regards
Same question on the dude above me about pyramiding system? How can you say such thing? because i cant see any pyramiding scheme on this one which i would rather believe on price manipulations. I would believe on the fact that transactions cost nowadays do really suck bigtime because it is not minimal anymore since you would really need to pay up huge or some dollar amounts to make transaction to other wallet. This is why i do decide up to make bulk transactions than on making on micro  because fees will really hurt you up.It is really a stressful thing sometimes.

6451  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Is it illegal for someone to hack my BTC wallet? on: November 19, 2017, 05:31:23 PM
I'm not clear on this one point.  If somebody got a hold of my private key and moved funds from an address that I claimed on the ledger, is that against the law?  At what point could that be considered a crime?  For example, if they hacked into my machine and stolen the private key; if they sniped the pk while snooping on a public access connection; brute forced the pk into existence; or just plane snapped a shot of my qr code over my shoulder....ect  In which of those examples could I pursue prosecution for the theft of my coin?

For me, the word "hack" already sounding illegal and should require urgent crying out to the necessary authority if such happens to your bitcoin wallet.

That necessary authority you do mean doesnt exist because theres no division that do make handle on these kind of cases because they do know that it would really be a big work and time consuming thing if they would try to trace up the hacker or scammer which they would end up and saying that this is a pointless thing. In the sense that someone is hacking your wallet then its considered illegal because it is stealing but on laws it cant be considered yet as of now so once hacked then dont expect for retrieval.
6452  Economy / Gambling / Re: CHANGE YOUR LIFE on: November 18, 2017, 01:38:15 PM
Only spend what you can afford to lose.   Huh

But why you want to spend that money on a fraud or untrusted site?

These kinds of lotteries are rigged because they will have a system to choose the number which they want unless they clearly disclose how they pick up the winners. OP post doesn't look like trustworthy so don't waste your hard earned money these sites.
He wont disclose since the results are basing on hashes just like on other games we do see that the winner would get the win if it did match on the last characters of such transaction. Trusting new site would really be the issue here and as been mentioned above this is not a professional way on introducing new site. Theres no appeal or any efforts. How would the community would trust this?
6453  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: how can i create fake transactions on: November 17, 2017, 10:41:31 AM
so i want to create a fake transaction 1 that will go trough but will not get confiremd because its not real how can i do that?

People like you are the reason we need a trustless payment system like Bitcoin. The sense of BTC is to not having to trust someone in order to get a payment done.
If it would be possible to create a "fake transaction" which shows up.. but then does not "go through".. you would need trust to recieve payments.
So.. if you want to to scam people write an email telling them you send them 1 Million $ via mail if they send you 100 bucks via sepa,...
But don't even try to trick someone like this with btc payments. It just doesn't work.
I think printing money from your home printer is more of a "business" which suites you..
I suspect the same thing on which this kind of question would really give him an idea to scam people just telling the other person that he did able to pay the funds but the truth is its just an fake one. This is not possible because once a transaction is broadcasted into the network then it would really be gets confirmed by miners. Double spending situation are on rare cases which i did eventually experience back in previous week when i do make use of electrum even the fees are just on average the network didnt recognize it and yet i have to add fee which results on double spend.

Stay positive mate, don't kill yourself, that's not a solution for your problem face your problem and learn frome your mistake and be better, don't give up. And there's anyone can care for what your situation, surround yourself to people that left you up and grow.
This is true which suicide isnt really a worth solution on breaking away with your own problem which 59 eth wont really be the worth of your 1 precious life. Shit do really happens anytime and on this situation the best possible thing to do is contact them as you have posted they do have 50+ email which is really very shady in able for them to get reached or contact. 59 ETH is too damn big for me on such amount which would really be worth for to bring the fight against them and dont just let them easily stole up those coins or money you did deposit.
6455  Economy / Gambling / Re: Lucky Bity - New Bitcoin Casino on: November 15, 2017, 08:19:53 PM
I do like the website design and i do love the ambiance and the color have been putted which i do feel like on a real casino but i would like to ask why the site do load really slow? I do have a fast internet connection and a high-end spec computer which theres no excuse for slow loadings or whatsoever. Its quiet odd i do experience such thing. Its just me?
6456  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Price Impact the Signature Campaign ?? on: November 14, 2017, 04:29:23 PM
Oh well, sarcastic or not, we all participate signature campaign to acquire bitcoin in services rather than buying it instantly. For people who really dont have any money to lose, they just use time to acquire bitcoin rather than buying it. Specially for students who wants to earn bitcoin without spending their allowance. But sometimes their are people who both buy btc directly at the same time participating in some bitcoin paid services. So i guess those who use time to get bitcoin would would be really impacted on price values.
You are referring on the price increase because of the increase of demand of bitcoin which it do normally increase its price when there are lots of people who do ask or buy bitcoin but the thing here we do talk specially on op is on the current payrates of campaigns basing on the current price of bitcoin which we do see it is already high which means most of them normally make conversions or adjustments on the rates basing on local fiat value because if they would decide to stay up on rates for sure they would really hurt their pocket specially on those $7k price ranges back on previous weeks we do see.

6458  Economy / Economics / Re: 99% of the people still think that fiat money are better than crypto on: November 12, 2017, 05:05:29 PM
I was talking with a friend of mine about cryptocurrencies and he said:
"Cryptocurrencies are anonymous?Nothing on the internet is anonymous.Having a bunch of dollars or euro in the pocket is the most anonymous way to store money. Grin"
Damn, now i think that he is right and fiat money are still way more convenient ,despite all the inflation, banks monopoly and control. From my personal experiense 99% of the people refuse to believe in bitcoin and refuse to adopt it in their daily life.Any opinions?
People think that fiat money is better than bitcoin because they have their own reasons. Maybe because they have a bad experience in bitcoin like losing a lot of money instead of being a successful man. They reach their dreams and achieve something in fiat money rather than in bitcoin. Well, thats life. Not all the time you will be lucky enough to become a successful man.
On majority i would say even on those bitcoin users do really have still thoughts regarding on fiat money itself i know on their minds that they do still prefer fiat money over bitcoin and im sure that most people do only see bitcoin as an another way or source of money. Some of them do active earn and exchange it to fiat directly which means they do really still trust the traditional money because we do able to see that bitcoin isnt really recognizable yet globally which means we do really have some doubts to go full on it and im sure that most people do have the same mentality or the idea i do say on here.
6459  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What is the best way of getting profit after few years, purchase ETH or ICOS ? on: November 09, 2017, 01:05:01 PM
It depends. Actually you can earn profit from both Ethereum and ICO's but we don't know for sure what will happen in the next few years the good thing to do or the best thing to do rather is to study the coin well (For ICO's) and if you think that it has potential then go for it have faith on the coin and for Ethereum according to the graph I've seen in the internet i think the Ethereum is stable and slowly increasing it's also good to invest in Ethereum.

You can check the coins information at https://coinmarketcap.com/ and also you can check the ICO list in https://www.ico-list.com/ adn you can also read reviews about the coin or the ICO's where you're going to invest.
There is an other site for checking out recent ICO which are ongoing and upcoming to launch and as an investor we are really  responsible on taking such measure to research a particular coin if it does have potential or not for you to make money on future or even on shorter terms. Back in the past where i have invest on ico and hold it for long because i do believe on the coins potential and a year later it did give me 100x of investment which is really a good thing.
6460  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: A Quick Lesson in Purchasing Power on: November 08, 2017, 06:45:41 PM
You can't compare bitcoin with fiat because bitcoin is decentralized currency so bitcoin value purely depend on supply and demand.
Let's compare with fiat , they are competing usually against dollar as it's cause by global issue for example:  disaster ,election , riot , etc

So bitcoin may the best option for investation so keep purchase every month !
I dont know why people do still trying to compare bitcoin into local fiat and other assets that do exist already for how many years. If we do talk about the difference then we can really tell such thing.Same as you mentioned bitcoin is a decentralized stuff which means it cant really be controlled by anyone even on government itself which this is one of the reason why bitcoin isnt really being adopted globally because most government would really see its negative side than on possitive.. Talking on assets then it do somehow some similarity.
