6441  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: want trade by bot what do you think are you with bots or not on: August 02, 2019, 07:21:13 AM
I am not great in trading but all I know is that I usually gain profit but not that big as some of the great traders here. I think I will consider Bot to do the trading for me.
This is a wrong approach. If you want to trade then do it on your own rather than using a bot. A bot only automates your order placing and running some algorithms. These bots are the reason Binance Sell walls become so high and make a fake market impact in terms of aggregators like coinmarketcap. Overall they have a bad impact on the crypto economy and neither does using a bot guarantee your profit.

However we have some people who are trying to make money by selling bots. So they will feed any person they can find with their BS propaganda about bots and how they can be used to get profits. They are nothing but lies.
6442  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Online Slot Tournament on: August 02, 2019, 07:18:23 AM
I think so too. But that is impossible to win. Maybe it could be fixed or something. Idk.
It is possible that many offline physical casinos are fixed. But these are just assumptions and no proof of such incident is there. It would be racketeering sabotage against companies by unscrupulous groups as well. However playing slots makes the person really addicted to the sounds and the colors - which is one of the basis of the business behind slots. Hence it could be just an assumption about fixed games.

Nevertheless playing online slots on trusted sites is thus free of any such suspicion and thus disturbance.
6443  Other / Meta / Re: Targeting me? Deleting my posts on: August 01, 2019, 07:40:44 AM
LOL its funny seeing people of this forum not follow rules and when their posts get deleted the complain about mods being too strict. Nobody in this world seems to see their own mistake and correct it but are critical enough to complain about others assuming that it was their mistake.

I recently have had some posts removed because the quoted posts being offtopic and I corrected myself to be careful about whom I am quoting. These solutions are simple and just need a little bit of logic, but hey, if we had logic we would not be wasting time here would we? Grin Grin

OP, stop being a crybaby and man up. Being able to post in this forum is a privilege, I am sure you dont want that to be taken away. Wink
6444  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If you could rename Bitcoin what name would you give it? on: August 01, 2019, 07:33:25 AM
The name bitcoin is short and crisp. It is something to do with bits and bytes being the basic block of any computer program and a currency based on them. I think thats where Satoshi got the name from.

Coming back to topic, none of us are qualified enough that we can rename bitcoin but for the sake of discussion, I would not rename it anyhow. Renaming or like previous topics in this forum "rebranding" does not change anything - it is nothing but a changing of your room;s wallpaper to cover up the finer details - which is why failed blockchain projects (make that "scam disguised ICOs") rebrand and rename their projects in hopes of fooling people into buying them.

Keep the name as it is and thats all.
6445  Other / Off-topic / Re: How much ROI% per month is fair? on: July 31, 2019, 08:28:27 AM
Sirius Crypto Capital is an investment association fund started in 2014 by a group of senior investors coming from a Stock and Forex background now focused exclusively on blockchain tech projects, crypto assets, tokens and digital currency.
A group of noob scammers coming together in the name of "cryptocurrency". Roll Eyes

Any person with even a tiny bit of logic will understand that 1% per month the lowest given here is not sustainable. Heck, banks give out 1% per year and even end up with loads of Non Payable Assets with nothing to do for. Still some kids will go for such scams and put their money there, thinking that this time they may get lucky. Well only the scammer gets lucky.

People like you are the reason of the bad name given to crypto in terms of ponzi and HYIP scams. Sod off from this forum!

6446  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to Identify Cryptocurrency Scams on: July 31, 2019, 07:27:30 AM
Until now, I think I have difficulty in identifying cryptocurrency scams because of all of the projects almost similar between each other, and I don't know which of them that is a scam.
You are being dumb here. If some new project looks like another project, then that is an obvious sign of a scam. See a copied whitepaper or team pictures is no doubt a scam. There have been projects which target the similar concept or a similar market but that is a different issue.

Quote
That makes me careful to decide to invest in their projects, but fortunately, I don't invest much money with them so I can save my money. I don't think that other people can identify them too because it still hard to find those scammers.
Just saving your money is not what this forum was made for. Bitcoin itself is considered an investment and by all means I consider it the best of all other crypto-currency investments. Keeping your money in a bank only means you get a small rate of interest and nothing more. Consider looking into the top10 coins on any website except the forked coins and decide what is best for you to invest in.

Scammers will always be there. But you have learn to be vigilant and alert. Fear, Greed and Doubt are three things a scammer uses to blind its victim so watch out for such attempts.
6447  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling destitute on: July 31, 2019, 07:21:54 AM
Gambling isnt making people poorer, people waste money on all kinds of activity that gives no profit.
How a person spends money is their own decision. Some people like to waste money in collecting antiques and then selling them again. Basically is another type trading but to someone else this may seem like a waste of time and money. Its just that that specific person finds solace and happiness in doing so and thus stopping them from doing it would have an adverse effect.

Quote
The big mistake is poor money management and spending money you cannot do without. To gamble what you cannot lose is to fail understanding of the chance nature to all entries.
Poor management of money indeed, but logic is also lacking in many gamblers. They cannot use their brain to decide whether to stop gambling or not and when to stop.
6448  Economy / Lending / Re: Need 0.002btc loan on: July 31, 2019, 07:13:50 AM
Hi there I have to make a withdraw and it requires 0.01 btc while I have 0.0084 BTC and I would need a loan of 0.002 btc for that
First of all you have been scammed here because this is a typical story of a user trying to use a site and depositing there and when they try to withdraw, the site asks for a deposit. Even if you really deposit something, that notice will remain and you will lose anything you send there. Even their support chats are programmed to reply you like that.

A group of scammers are doing this and people keep falling prey of this scam where the scammers promise some big reward for doing something and then they "stop" the withdraw saying that you need to deposit some 0.01 BTC to get a reward - whose amount is much bigger than the 0.01BTC. That is their pitch, they try to incite the greed in you at that point. But as we know greed kills, just like speed.
6449  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: With Bitcoin, a future is not clear on: July 30, 2019, 09:27:58 AM
After researching the news sources, I decided to pledge my land and houses worth $ 40000. I use it to buy 4 Bitcoin
I will rent a small apartment with my family

Quote
I'm happy now
I believe that the BTC will increase to $ 20k next year.
You have done all this and now you are happy? I wonder how your wife let you do that unless you fed her with some good quality drugs. Grin

But seriously, I wont advice you to do that because although I like the enthusiasm, every investment should be having its limit. One should not put all their life savings into something that they are speculating on. Like the wiser people say, never gamble more than 10% of your bankroll the same applies here. Real estate is something that people live in and thus unless you have a separate home to live in I would not suggest selling it for a truckload of cash for bitcoin.
6450  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Reasons Crypto Players Skip Casinos with KYC on: July 30, 2019, 08:29:07 AM
Right. That's why others are also reasoning the same but, do we have an option if our funds are stuck on any website and they required us to follow so that they can allow the withdrawal?
This can only happen for two reasons:
1. The casino is gathering data of its users. In this case it is a scam and you have lost some money if you decide to not share your details.
2. You source of money was tainted. This is the majority of cases we see on bitcointalk where a newbie account comes up with the complain of not being paid by casinos and that the casino is asking for KYC. The bottom of the case is that the victim themselves were doing shady stuff and got money from illegal sources and sent them to the casino, to play and use as an intermediary and then cashed it out only to get stuck by the security check.
6451  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin believers/investors are foolish or low IQ people ? on: July 30, 2019, 08:25:25 AM
Bitcoin believers or investors are not foolish but most investors make their decisions based on their emotions without any solid analysis of the market.
You are wrong. Most investors remain good investors because they take their decisions not be emotions but by logical analysis. Even at times their analysis ends up wrong and they lose some money still, it was based on logic and not assumptions like what many FUDstars have done till date.

Quote
This normally end up in losses because some may buy during the peak of the rise and are too impatient to also wait. It is always good to utilize the bear market situation when Bitcoin price drops - this is where investors must buy more because Bitcoin will definitely rise when it drops in price.
So you can see it is not always a question of emotion or logic. It is just going with the flow to catch some coins when they are dropping and selling when they are rising. Whether that person is intelligent or not is irrelevant in this case. The wrong move would be listen to so called financial advisors who shill some altcoins. Those are the scum of this market who have no lives.
6452  Economy / Economics / Re: Top Three Emotions to Check to Succeed! on: July 30, 2019, 08:21:23 AM
That is the most difficult part. It's like you battle with your own self overcoming your emotion preventing to get ahead of you. It is not easy because it is part of the human nature, we aren't easily contented and crave for more.
Hence the reason the retard remain retards and the wise people dominate over them. Those who can control their emotions to a good extent are able to do things that others cant imagine and thus they think that the former must be god-like. Its not impossible to be a trader with a cold heart and only money making methods in mind if you have the proper psychological background and dont break under pressure.

However you can start by doing a risk management so you know that even if you lose all the money you invested you would still not be a be in a huge loss. I think this is one of the basis of the bad emotions coming in since it is not done properly. The what the OP mentions comes into play.
6453  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Private bounties on: July 29, 2019, 10:01:12 AM
it is suitable for getting those jobs to be telegram manager, translator and so on i think.

I estimate many projects have such a demand. But difficult to find.
These are all small term jobs for a small living. You all should not limit your vision to this much earning but dream big and for that you need to gain skills and knowledge and get a real life job that pays well. Of course not everyone is able to which I understand, but keeping yourself limited to these sort of work will move the bigger picture out of your mind.

Maybe you have good translation and communication skills - use them to get the job of on interpreter or a teacher in your local area. Bounties in this forum will not last forever. We dont even know if altcoins are going to survive well in future unless you sell them for bitcoins at proper pumps. So its always a good option to keep these earnings as secondary and have a solid primary job as backup.
6454  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: People expecting collateral for all loans on: July 29, 2019, 08:59:41 AM
What a business to be in, zero risk for the person lending out money, is completely backwards to the real world.  Most loans and credit is given without collateral.  People can ask what they want but lenders usually have a risk.
If you think like that, why dont you send out some of your cash to people you think would return them to you with x% interest per month and then observe how many actually return that money to you.

Dont compare lending to an investment banker investment here. The latter does have some guarantee and legal procedure in case of default. Come to this forum and reddit where people give out p2p loans there is no legal basis on which a defaulted loan may get sought after and thus people can just come to the forum with new accounts and as per your judgement should be given out free money by lenders only to get scammed.

If you still dont understand what the people in this thread have tried to say, then you need to seek professional advice because you are delusional and need treatment.
6455  Economy / Economics / Re: Are Blockchain Projects in Northeast Asia can change the economy? on: July 29, 2019, 08:53:02 AM
The technology there is already so advanced and people never refrain from using the new one's , the government is also so supportive .
I think they would set an amazing example and will see tremendous growth in the economy soon.
What makes you think that they would be willing to take the risk in a new sector or some known blockchain based projects? The current legality of bitcoin although legal in these countries but the picture is pretty tarnished back in US and majority of Asia.

Whether this can be changed in future is still a question. In case if bigger companies start accepting cryptocurrencies then we might see a change in the stance of the governments and then it might be worth seeking out such country people for a pitch. Till then I dont see any reason why any project would be able to get a decent financial support from them. Sad
6456  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Will you buy lottery online in bitcoin payment? on: July 29, 2019, 08:46:15 AM
There is no risk if you won the lottery. There should be no issue in claiming the lottery. The real issue is that if you do not win the lottery all your invested funds will be lost. That's the only reason i do not invest in lottery as it is too risky.
It is wrong to say that you "invest" in gambling because you dont. You gamble your money in trying to make more money and the method is lottery ticket buying. Investment is something of a broader term here and although this is debatable, I consider gambling to be a mode of entertainment and not a mode of making money. The only person making money is the bookmaker.

Whether you decide to buy lottery tickets is your choice. I see people of lower economic strata, not having much of a savings to do, waste their money gambling and buying lottery tickets. Its because they are trying their luck because they have nothing else to depend on.
6457  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Did i make or lose money on this trade? on: July 29, 2019, 08:41:25 AM
You cannot compare the usage or interest of both, when did usdt come into existence that people would trade more for it, the reason why many people trade for now is to earn some fiats and the most popular fiat we still know right now is USD, although we still have some people that are holding usdt, but they are doing so to actually continue to keep the value of the fiat that will be used for further trade.
Its called hedging and I would say they are being practical about the price if they are doing so. Not that I like USDT, I feel its a big ponzi nothing different from what fiat is in reality and it is just a digital representation of the same, just done by Bitfinex to promote it, powered by the FUD news spreading mass media. Again as long as it is present it is good option to tide over a bear market or just save your assets in some other form of value. But when is it going to collapse or when is another tether induced pump is coming is still a mystery.

Quote
Once people trade, they tend to convert it straight to USD because that is the best pair to use for getting their money into their traditional bank.
There are exchanges that allow directly payment on credit card if you need that. Cex is one such exchange but you would need pay some decent fees if you decide to proceed with this.
6458  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: KuMEX on: July 28, 2019, 07:29:09 AM
I guess every other exchange is envious of bitmex and their platform and is now willing to create their own version *cough* *cough* "Copy" of bitmex. The legal problem with bitmex just gives another window of opportunity to prey on the users of bitmex for a new derivatives platform and that is a good marketing method by launching it at this time. If it does launch that is.

Even then I was never a fan of leverage trading. More of the spot trading people is what I prefer. Take your risks if you like them though. I would be cautious about any new exchange even if it was being prepared by a previously known name.
6459  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What's your advisable source of capital to use for trading. on: July 28, 2019, 07:03:18 AM
I would never advice someone to take a loan for trading. After all trading is something that needs you to be able to hold that money for a long time, basically to get a proper price to buy bitcoin. Because that entry point is crucial in determining your exit strategy and profit thereafter, you would want to use your own money to trade and not someone else's.

Secondly, do not invest more than what you can lose. I cannot emphasize that enough, because once you have made a mistake and you start to regret it, a vicious cycle of depression and anxiety will start which you will not be able to break unless you have faith and emergency money at hand. These markets are very volatile and unpredictable such that investments should always be made strictly within limited amounts of incoming money.
6460  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin usage and misaligned expectations on: July 28, 2019, 06:59:46 AM
I'd say we do enough with our freedom of speech.  We call them out on their shenanigans and it seems to work for the most part.  Hopefully only a very small number of people still go away with the wrong impression after we've intervened to combat any FUD.  It's not the easiest job sometimes, but it keeps us in good practice for when the next troll inevitably appears.
Truely that is what I have been trying to tell. Both sides have full authority to say anything that want. Without looking at what others say about you make some enlightening discussions about bitcoin and its good and bad properties. How people have tried to make it look bad and what others think about it. Make a discssion which is both constructive, promotes constructive thinking and is objective enough and not too subjective.

We have only the power to telling people to become aware of frauds and we cannot make people not invest in them. So if we do our part, I think thats enough for one human to do their part than waste time on trolling trolls.
