Thanks for the recap and yes, definitely looking forward to spend those freebets I got them too! Watching from friend's place, no internet but good tv gonna save on data to access SB and forums:) Next few days are going to be hard and thick so make sure you put in your picks everyone, I'm putting it all way in advance now because I've got other leagues. Can't wait to try and get one yellow cap this year before the season picks up again after NY. Good luck;)

Yeah I never seen that amount of points before I think there was a 20+ round in EPL last season but that was during a round most people got close to 20 anyway. This is the kind of dominance Real/Barca used to have before the shitshows that is currently on display this corona season haha;)

(investor since 2016 hey hey!)

Only interested in this part. Could i know what's the return of your investment now after 4 years invested on Bitvest? What cryptocurrency you have invested too? Was it bitcoin or other currency?

Also an investor here and of course I remember how it was for a long time. My oldest investments now are from 2019 but I divested many times. I can safely say it's been highly profitable for dogecoin which I kept for the longest time. Bitcoin actually was really good until mid 2020 when some guy won big, wiped out all profits I had earned since early days but longterm should see it go back up.

man, i love the holidays! good vibes, Xmas songs, cold weather, rum & coke and winning tickets!!  Grin

It's a little different for where I am as not everyone celebrates it but most companies take the long weekends together so it's happening here. Except for me I always sign up for double shift on holiday. Less work, no bosses, and double pay.

Me and my computer screen, but happy holidays everyone!

No Steve Multi Magic this week? =O
6445  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 5 best staking coins? on: December 24, 2020, 02:49:34 PM
ETH 2.0 is currently the most popular staking, with high reward, other interesting coins to staking is elrond (EGLD), Cosmos (ATOM),

but be careful with new projects that have high rewards, high reward high risk

I don't play the staking game since I don't even have much and I don't like the idea of joining pools (Except for Waves which I'm still crazily doing for 2 years now) but I'd definitely go for ETH above all else. It's almost guaranteed to stay at $600 or return to it once 2.0 fully takes off.

Getafe didn't strike me as one of the losers at the start of the season but every time they can't win I wonder why I've been stubbornly backing them. Not that a 1-1 draw helps me anyway betting wise. Odds on Granada to win this right now is heading above 9/1. Should I bite? 6 minutes to half time and Real can't score still.

Hope you didn't bite. Granada put up a fight by defending (though fair enough they also had 4 shots so not completely Atletico style pre November!) and still lost by 2 goals. Odds were already 111 live for a comeback, impossible;)

Now to see what Atletico can do with 2 games in hand. They'll wish they beat Real though.
6447  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [XRP] Ripple Speculation on: December 24, 2020, 12:02:36 PM
$0.27 just now. I want to buy this dip but very possible that many exchanges will close their xrp trades and might delist it to their exchanges to avoid further sanctions that might be thrown to them by just having xrp.

Holy shit I did NOT see that coming! Whoever sold futures or options for XRP must be making a killing, leverage sites I saw people making 10x profits betting against Ripple. Incredible turn of events and just the sickest headaches for those thinking this centralized coin will be doing well in the future.
6448  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2020/21 on: December 23, 2020, 12:32:22 PM
Atletico really showed their steel last night! I won't feel bad at all if they win the league on this kind of irresistible form. Suarez really deserves it.

@slaman29 indeed times have changed in La Liga, but in this particular match Ramos got really lucky when the ball touched his arm, and the referee decided not to punish him. Furthermore Benzema is playing on another level, and we have discussed about his performances earlier too, but I feel that he deserves a special praise for scoring and assisting in this match, and helping Real Madrid secure another three vital points.

As much as I don't like to praise the enemy, can't deny Benzema is like one of those forgotten heroes at least until they start blaming the team (he is like a Giroud to me).
6449  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Electricity Consumption on: December 23, 2020, 12:01:19 PM
And never to forget the point most discussions fail to even touch: the value brought by all this expensive processes. Bitcoin is still the most powerful network in terms of security and hashpower, giving the confidence of investors to keep investing. Altcoins cannot even come close. All that "cost" of securing the network is well warranted.
6450  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ BitcoinPRBuzz.com's ⚽ Spanish La Liga ⚽ Football Pool Discussion Thread on: December 23, 2020, 10:43:40 AM
Really good game and confident win - not that frequent thing this season. I don't know it's coincidence or now, but we achieved it without Griezmann in the squad. Shocking fact that until this game Barca had collected just 4 points in away games.
Atletico won very important game against Real Sociedad. I think after this game Sociedad dreams that they can fight for title is over - 6 points behind 1st place and Atletico have 3 games in advance.
And interesting fact - Iñaki Williams today played his 172th game in a row for Athletic and overcome legendary Di Stefano by this number. He haven't missed even single game from 20th April, 2016 - very impressive.

Still early season and Sociedad must first find a way to navigate both Europa and also La Liga. I think they first overcome United, then they will be favorites (or maybe still Inter) but I suspect they could throw away that game.

Nice Barca win and yes, maybe not a coincidence the lineup missed a certain French.
6451  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: How to know which crypto news will be listed? on: December 22, 2020, 12:11:07 PM
its simple, you can go their official telegram channel and can ask them about exchange listing.most of project has their own telegram account that help user to let them know the update about project.if there is no telegram, then contact with them on twitter.but remember one thing, project owner may cliam and promise lot of things for sell their token but don't believe anything without proper analysis and untill announced by exchange

I'd actually advice against Telegram use or reliance. True, you can get the most important information right there and then, but I've learnt now that projects who spend time in Telegram don't spend as much time as they should on the actual project. ETH used discord a lot and they publish their dev calls for people to listen in to, that's the way to go now. No promises, just work.

There may not be any relevance probably, but a good way to spread the love and some generosity in the way of raining some amount you won. It’s an individual choice and since it’s Christmas time so I also believe that when you win some big from gambling then a certain part can be given to the other users which can make their day or can have fun and gamble with those amount and who knowns they can make a good winning from it as well.

I think it's a pretty common thing among gamblers. You win something, you share it with others. Absolutely not rooted in logic at all for sure, but you see it especially true online, even before crypto gambling was common I'd see people share tips in lounge of virtual casinos, just because it feels good to spread that karma around, for your next win;)

I actually don't tip unless I win really big! That hasn't happened in a long while though:P
6453  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2020/2021 on: December 22, 2020, 10:17:04 AM
Full time - Chelsea 3 - 0 West Ham Utd.

I think Chelsea is back to winning ways now after putting 3 past West Ham this evening. It started with a Silva header that gave Chelsea the lead in the first half followed by an uneventful first half from either side. But towards the end of the game, 78th - 80th minute to be precise, Tammy Abraham netted twice to seal off Chelsea's win.
Chelsea are back but Timo Werner had a bad match in which he missed a few great opportunities to score. Werner has a good connections with his teammates but as a swingback and forward, he need to score. He need to score a few goals to get his confidence back and to avoid slip down further.

The Premier League is unpredictable now when Totettenham with 2 lost matches fall to 5th position and Manchester United jump to the 3rd position. Lots of things can change in one or two rounds.

Quote
If you watched the game, you would noticed Chelsea didn't play any impressive football throughout the duration of the match was only lucky to win by  3-0 due to the fact that West Ham team lacks a lot going forward. I mean, they practically had zero (0) shot on target all game.
West Ham has some chances to score goals but they failed or off-side.

To sum it up, nothing is certain about any team any more in EPL. Same as other leagues. I think the only one to keep their form up this season is Bayern and Liverpool, although both were also hammered (4-1 Bayern and 7-2 Liverpool), though generally they haven't lost many games and are probably the most mentally strong. Guess we all just have to sit back and enjoy!
6454  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Ethereum May Surpass Bitcoin’s Market Cap in the Next 10 Years on: December 22, 2020, 08:35:53 AM
So, I think it looks like that bitcoin first mover advantage will continue to grow, I would prefer ethereum to be higher as well, bitcoin doesn't really have that much technological reasons why it is so high, it is just the first one and people love it and that is why it is high, whereas ethereum is awesome and used and bought for purposes and that is why it is high, I would say ETH reason is a lot better.

Definitely for the next few years and I think for Bitcoin at least until the next 2 halvings it will just have organic push towards 6 figure sums. ETH 2.0 I'm not sure, first mover yeah but a lot of competitors who haven't got their act together. BTC breaks ATH and ETH still not even 50% of ATH. Really, really hard to say but I would put my eggs in several baskets at this point, but most always still in Bitcoin.

Valencia again the foiler of teams. Can't win, but won't let others win!

it is really unbelievable, I am a real fan and they fooling me off each weekend, I would never think that I cannot guess any of their scores, if there was not for this Superbru pool, where they track your Boogie teams, I would think that I know what they will play, but obviously missing their score weekend after weekend

it is great that I do not bet on teams that I support, otherwise this season would be a worst, with Valencia, I cannot guess Everton in Premier as well, and Cagliari is also threshing my predictions each weekend

You and me both. I'm not the craziest superfan of Barca but I follow them with more interest than my own job for sure, definitely need to pull myself up and pay attention to my life sometimes the way I just read and follow them. Unlike you though, I've been betting on Barca regularly, so you can imagine I've been losing money the past 3 seasons especially:)
6456  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is DeFi Dead? on: December 21, 2020, 01:15:02 PM
I don't feel that DeFi is dead. I feel that, like all other models, DeFi will have it's share of bad actors and good actors. Where one bad apple doesn't necessarily spoil the whole bunch, it makes many people look askance at the industry overall. But, there are still gems that have great products, teams, business models. It has just never been more important than it is now, to do your due diligence and dyor.

Not dead as in buried and extinct,,, dead as in no longer the get-rich-quick scheme it used to be considered. Same as ICOs in 2017. Same as POS coins and airdrops a year before that;)

The normal cycle of purging that leaves healthy projects in place!
6457  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Shall I HODL DOGE? on: December 21, 2020, 11:50:41 AM
It is a miracle that the DOGE coin has survived until this time. Before DOGE, I can count dozens of coins that can be preferred. I think you don't take this risk and go for more familiar altcoins.

Nothing short of a miracle indeed. This year alone there were 2 big events in terms of pumping. The Tiktok dogecoin challenge being the most memorable and then the Tweet from Elon Musk pumping it by 33%!

Nothing serious we all understand but the beauty of Doge is truly in its longevity!

Who’s ready to do battle again tomorrow? I’m coming for those higher positions now. Your boy LFC_Bitcoin gave you all a head start by having a bad first 10 or so matchweeks but I am coming now  Tongue Wink

**Fighting talk**

Well this didn’t age well, I’m one of the lowest scorers for this match week Cheesy
Hopefully I get a few points in tonights games so I can avoid that dreaded wooden spoon.

Haha don't worry you weren't the only one caught out by results. I think quite a few of us also thought this was the week for Leeds to surprise us all and kick United in the teeth. 30+ shots in total taken by each team though so it could have gone either way for finishing!

bigdaddy is the big winner so far but I also gained some points so I'm not so disappointed:) Thinking hard now to keep or change my picks.

I can relate to this as I was a faucet user way back 2016 and all I have to do was to solve different captcha every minutes and hours and damn those captcha keeps getting harder and harder. I even need to refresh the captcha to solve it as it was impossible to solve 🤣🤣

The captcha at time were easy and also paid a lot more than today. They have not only become harder with passage of time but also the satoshi reward has decreased considerably. If bitcoin reaches 100,000$ by the end of 2021, the reward for captcha will further decrease.

I can't really remember how it was to be honest, I probably deposited and gambled even early on, so I can't even really remember captcha now but IIRC all captchas have always been a pain for me after some point, which was good since I then didn't spend too much time on faucets (although now the price makes me think I should have followed all those guys who got millions from a few weeks of faucet collecting!!).
6460  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2020/21 on: December 21, 2020, 09:19:06 AM
Real Madrid will play an away match against Eibar tonight. Eibar haven't lost in the league for 5 matches. But they have too many injured players before this match. Real Madrid won their last three matches in the league. They have had a really good performance recently. I think Real Madrid will play strong and win here without having much problem.

It has been a beautiful and interesting tie between Eibar and Real Madrid, even though Madrid are 1 goal ahead in a 2 - 1 tie; Eibar are not sitting back at all; instead they are pushing for an equalizer. With Madrid looking to score another goal to secure the tie. i think madrid has enough to win and the match should end 4 -2  in favor of real madrid.

It's a crazy time for La Liga really. The big two are not so big now and have never looked so vulnerable in the last decade. And to think they have billions worth of talent between the two. I'm still not over how crap we are, the Valencia draw was just well. I said before we should just focus on UCL and this latest result just solidifies my opinion.
