So basically you praise him for running a lawless website.
What a hero.

I love how "lawless" is used in a derogatory fashion.  You're right.  The real heroes are the people who write laws and obey laws.  Those good folks on capitol hill, and the good samaritans who always drive the speed limit and would never think to ingest a non-state-approved substance without permission.

Let's have a talk after somebody from YOUR  family dies in an accident caused by a speeding idiot. Shall we?
6462  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin keeps failing on: November 23, 2013, 11:14:49 AM
Bitcoin is just a couple of years old, give it some time!

Time is quite some issue here.
Bitcoin has rise in price like there is no tomorrow but in number of people actually using it the increase is just laughable.
If something new and more user friendly comes on the market the future is grim for it as a currency.
6463  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: HashFast announces specs for new ASIC: 400GH/s on: November 23, 2013, 11:12:10 AM
What they told me about the refunds when I asked for one:

Unfortunately, we are not currently refunding orders.  As we promised our Batch 1 Baby Jet customers, we will refund their order if we do not deliver the order by December 31, 2013.

Our Terms of Sale include the following:

·         Except for the delivery dates described explicitly guaranteed using the words “guaranteed delivery” in the order confirmation sent by Hashfast, delivery dates communicated or acknowledged by Hashfast are approximate only

·         No order or any part thereof may be rescheduled or cancelled without Hashfast’ prior written consent, other than orders that remain undelivered after the “guaranteed delivery” date

We included this language to emphasize the point that we are a new company, designing a highly complex technology, and manufacturing it for the first time, and therefore estimated dates were just that.

That said, we understand that there are many people interested in purchasing units from Batch 1 from other customers.  You may want to look for a buyer in the Bitcoin forums.  If you would like us to refer buyers to you, please let us know.

Very truly yours,

Customer Support

So, they are now changing their Tos all the time to cover their back and we can all see that from day one they did not expect to deliver between 20-30 October.  They just forget it to mention on their web page to the customers...

I wonder how refunds in BTC will be given.
They might want to refund if they pay in usd value rather than shipping.

Confidence is begging to shatter , even if we are finally starting to have some kind of proofs they could actually ship.
I find this kind of amusing , while there were no news from HF there were very few complaining , now we have some "good" news and the thread is flooded.

Bla bla bla

Insert Government constipation theory here

Governments are already buying up and seizing bitcoin
Goverments are both privately and public assessing the threats of bitcoin and how to control it.

Why the hell are you acting like the internet police?
6470  Economy / Speculation / Re: Are there any real hardcore bears? on: November 22, 2013, 04:29:39 PM
I am really curious about that. Not the "i've sold and hope it goes down so i can buy back in"-type of bear. But a legit longterm bear who thinks this shit will collapse hard to 0-1$ range and just dies eventually ?

Because so far i just see "bears" that just want more cheap coins. Am i wrong?

That ain't a bear what you're searching for , maybe a hyena .
6471  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: In Honor Of Ross "The Dread Pirate Roberts" Ulbricht on: November 22, 2013, 04:25:35 PM
Free trade? well , he didn't get all those bitcoins from FREEEEEE trade.

You obviously don't understand what i mean by free trade... I don't literally mean people trading things for free, or even trade on a website that is free to trade on... everything in the world costs something.

I mean free to trade what they please, without government intervention.

So basically you praise him for running a lawless website.
What a hero.
6472  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Guaranteed death of BTC? on: November 22, 2013, 04:23:08 PM
Number of transactions =/= cost of mining.
There is no correlation between those two.

So , your scenario need adjustments , something like erase it all and come up with a new one.
6473  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Free bitcoin sites! on: November 22, 2013, 04:17:22 PM

The refrally currently stops. and the new refrally is very hard to achieve. Right now I have 9 referrals that didn't even play. I think I will not enter this new refrally you can try if you want. I will send you your shares and your btc bonus today  Smiley.

Why are you blowing me off?

Are you going to send the shares and btc bonus?

You keep putting me off, You got your winnings and promised me a share of your winnings when you got paid. You got paid 24 hours ago and are avoiding me, you got yours, and you still haven't done what you said, how many times do I have to ask?

There is no way I am investing in this company for sure now, or playing or giving props or advertising.

COME ON NOW!!!

-Branzig.

Searching for "refrally " google suggested really. So , i ask , oh really?
6474  Bitcoin / Press / Re: 2013-11-22 CNBC: Virgin Galactic to accept bitcoin: Branson on: November 22, 2013, 04:12:45 PM
Additionally, very bullish news.

Want a discount on Virgin Galactic?

1. Send your $200,000 to your local bitcoin exchange
2. Watch the market go wild as you eat $200,000 out of the ask wall
3. Bitcoin you bought accumulates in value
4. Send $200,000 worth to Branson for a ticket on Virgin Galactic
5. Profit

Finally, an underpants-gnome scheme that actually works!  Cheesy

Virgin Galactic goes bankrupt (they haven't had an actual flight yet)
You end up missing 200k usd.
Me thanks you very much Cheesy for skyrocketing the bitcoin price.
6475  Economy / Economics / Re: Best way to turn 2BTC into 4BTC on: November 22, 2013, 04:10:08 PM
Yeah, I meant safe, not save. But it is pretty safe. In what way is it not?
I have to say, arbitrage is a pretty save bet. You only get 1-2% a trade, but its safe.

probably you wanted to say "safe" not save. In any case , no it's not Cheesy

Do that with mtgox , I'm sure your usd are safe there Cheesy

If you take anything the FBI or the American government has to say at face value then you are BLIND to how they operate...

It wouldn't surprise me if they used multiple alias's to first make him want/need these hits, then approach him as another user and offer to "take out" this person, that probably never existed.  All in an effort to make sure he is locked up for life when they do catch him.

Look at it from their perspective, do you really think they would want a 20yo computer nerd to undermine all the massive efforts and expense they go to to oppress drug use, then see him walk free in a couple of years with millions hidden away.

Once his court day came and the judge decided that the crimes he committed wouldn't even justify a couple of years, after all he only launched a website offering free trade to the world, never actually sold anything illegal himself.

No no no, that wouldn't do for the FBI, so before catching him out for the "crimes" he committed, they had to cook up some real crimes, it's called entrapment, illegal in itself but something that the American gov love to do, and do it all to often.  All this in an effort to ensure he couldn't walk free and that all the media would demonize him.

All I can say is glad i'm not american.. land of the free my ass.

Oh yeah , he was a hero and those damn government fascists want the poor Jesus v2.02 burned on a stick in all the media.
And he could bring peace to all the world , end hunger with his good for everything Silkroad project.

Free trade? well , he didn't get all those bitcoins from FREEEEEE trade.
6477  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Lmao @ people buying subway and etc w/ BTC!!! on: November 22, 2013, 04:04:30 PM

Edit: Wait, there is already a cryptotalk.org forum. Why are you still here?

6480  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Norway Will Tax Bitcoin + VAT on: November 22, 2013, 03:52:44 PM
That sucks, not sure how it will be enforced but it must be annoying for the Norwegians
They don't have to. Breaking the law is not that hard.

Breaking the law might not be that hard , but people don't want to
1) break the law
2) be forced to break the law
Not breaking the law is stupid at times.

Same otherwise , breaking the law is just stupid sometimes.
People can simply weight the risks and go for it.
Or , they could try an change the laws , which It might be the better solution , right?
