I hope Norwegians will ignore these absurd laws!

BTW, some countries apply VAT even on the investment gold bars, nevertheless people still buying them VAT-free on the "unofficial" market.

Norway is highly welfare state, I would say even more socialist than USSR had been. So you really think its govt will change tax laws and reduce perks for idlers (which are large part of the electoral base)?!
Ignoring this idiotic law is only one option available IMHO.
