6461  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Regulations only for BTC to increase in FIAT value? on: April 09, 2019, 10:48:16 PM
There can be some regulations on the process to avoid such fraud transactions, related to illegal trades just like what OmegaStarScream mentioned at the very first post. Exchanges are mandated to comply with these regulations.

But for each individual, we are still good for p2p deals that no one can interfere. Since there's an outflowing money in the market, regulators would come and seek the interest out of it. In every emerging market, regulations do really come but this won't break bitcoins main character as decentralized cryptocurrency. They want to regulate the market that comes on their jurisdiction.

And that mindset when there's regulation, price will increase, you cant remove that. Once the gov't says it's a good type of store of value and it's legal, people who doubted it will come and try it.
6462  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How do you choose slots for gambling? on: April 09, 2019, 10:27:58 PM
Play slots on your own manually and don't take any software that might let you win as they say. But in reality, there's no way for a software to change the result of what you play, whether in slots or any other gambling games.

And when you're about to play slots, play only with those reputed slots website or a casino that has it. The most important thing that when you gamble, ready your pocket with acceptable amount to lose.
6463  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling - A Game of Luck or Strategy on: April 09, 2019, 10:03:26 PM
I don't think there is such thing as successful gambler. If success in gambling is considered success because it made you rich then somehow that can be considered but I cannot find a person whose rich from gambling. There are some who've won jackpot from lottery but they are very rare to find and aside from that, with one jackpot won in lottery, how many of them lose? We can see rich people in casinos but I don't think they been made rich by playing there. The only strategy I can say is, if it doesn't add anything to you in anyway then stop it even if you enjoy it. If it is destroying you then you already know that it must stop.
You probably havent googled those gamblers who became rich with gambling. There were people who find their life at its best with gambling.

About lottery, check the family that won large amount of jackpot somewhere in Europe(IIRC).

Indeed there are people who are lucky because of gambling and usually through lotteries, but the number of lucky people cannot be compared to the number of the unlucky one, it's unbalanced. After all, how much time and money they have spent before they get such fortune.
Yes, we can't compare those people who bet and lose but that's the essentials of gambling, lottery and other games. It is unbalanced, because how would the operator pay all of those people if out of 1000 people who bet, more than 10 will win the jackpot?

It just can't, we knew it that gambling is a business and each business should be profitable for the operator. But the guy above said that he haven't found people who became rich in gambling.

If someone knows a trick, he will never share it because he's benefiting on it.
I don't see any reason why someone would share a trick if they know one as long as everyone could benefit from that. I don't think there is any trick that could get your rich, as casinos are very careful about their systems so is someone has found a trick is probably something that's too little and can't help you much, maybe only in some cases.
Do you think that if someone has found a trick he will share it to everyone? it's already 2019 mate and no one would ever do that.

Trick = strategy

It's simple as that and that's why I don't think that someone would be doing this if it's working to him. No trick that could make you rich because strategies aren't staying for so long.
6466  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Looking for some trusted gambling site. on: April 07, 2019, 12:07:08 PM
A trusted gambling site? actually there's a lot of it but this depends what kind of game you want to play. But if someone is looking for a trusted dice site, you can check and see if your luck is on bustadice.

It has huge bankroll so you can never doubt the high payouts that they do. Payouts are instant and the devs are very well reliable and trustworthy.
6467  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin is following the same path of 2017 on: April 07, 2019, 11:03:08 AM
This was the chart for 2017

And this is the chart for Q1 2019

I'm not sure about the comparison that OP is saying. I'm very confused on how did he managed to compare two charts which has different pattern.
6468  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Strategy to overcome losses .. on: April 06, 2019, 08:59:54 PM
The only strategy that I've adopted to overcome gambling losses 100% is to not gamble anymore. Now I gamble by trading crypto Smiley
People should avoid playing to recover the losses as this could turn out to be a wrong strategy as many people who have done it have lost their money badly and become very poorer as they cannot hold or contain them self and played with big amounts.
It's a wrong strategy to tell but if you are on that situation, you'll never think of this. Your emotion would be on fire and that crave you're feeling by that time will be intense and what you all think is just about the recovery.

Overcoming your losses can be done by accepting it. Think of it and accept the fact that you lost, when you are good in accepting defeat, you have overcome your losses with your feelings but with your bankroll, yeah it's still a loss but it helps you set your mind properly.
6469  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: TOP suggestions for someone who's thinking of buying BTC? on: April 06, 2019, 08:02:20 PM
The unending DYOR advice, yes that's #1
True, this is the advice all must put into mind.
It should always be the top priority for someone who's looking to buy bitcoin. Yes, he/she can ask the community as it's part of it.

Absolutely, before buying cryptocurrency or bitcoin one was do a bot for research about how the markets work and trading works before investment. And one should be patient enough to hold the bitcoins and best time to buy would be during the dips.
Understanding on how volatile the market is will save you from giving you that kind of stress, so it's better for a new person on this will understand that bitcoin is moving quickly up and down. This is why others fell after the all time high, they all thought that bitcoin was an unending increase cycle without going sideways.
6470  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: STAKES.COM on: April 06, 2019, 02:14:18 PM
The thread's created last year of April so it's quite confusing if you won't look at it clearly. And this question is repeated many times for those gamblers that gambled for few times, they all think that it's going to work.

If someone knows a trick, he will never share it because he's benefiting on it. But as for the tips, gamble what you can afford to lose and don't gamble with games that you don't know how to play.
6471  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Elon musk had dogecoin pumping for a while on: April 05, 2019, 05:50:52 AM
Just another April Fools joke made by well known Elon Musk. It has surged for a while but unlike other coins and bitcoin, Doge's gain wasn't that much IMO.

In any case, his words about dogecoin have a big impact. Coin flew straight up, Musk can easily pump every other coin)
In summary, it's not just Elon Musk but every popular person. We saw this first with John McAfee and this strategy seems to be effective. I also think that some exchangers will do this or any upcoming project that wants to hit their success.
6472  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: TOP suggestions for someone who's thinking of buying BTC? on: April 05, 2019, 05:20:53 AM
The unending DYOR advice, yes that's #1 and I'll always say that to those people who are thinking right now of buying it. I've talked to some before and all they think that it's a rich quick scheme digital coin, so without education of what you do you'll be ending up badly.

And the other tip that we always hear, invest what they afford to lose.
6473  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Royal ramble in the casino on: April 05, 2019, 04:48:25 AM
Yes, this is a very normal scene and just another gambling addiction story that lost everything and went into rage. My experience wasn't in a well known casino but it's just in our neighborhood when we play poker.

We don't know that one player on the seat doesn't have money anymore. And you know what? we agree to let him play and just list the credits that he'll get since it's most likely a friendly poker table (we're all friends). But the bad thing that happened, when one of my friend won a lot and that guy who doesn't have money anymore said that he's not going to pay, guess what's next?
6474  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How big is the role of the government in the development of Bitcoin? on: April 05, 2019, 04:09:49 AM
Definitely! they do play an important role for the growth and acceptance of bitcoin in a country. Citizens will listen and follow their orders instead of people and society that they aren't aware of its existence.

Community and gov't both plays an important role. We as part of the community are the ones who have been using, dealing and looking for solutions on how can bitcoin be used in so many ways. And once the gov't recognizes it, they don't have to regulate, they just have to support and tell their stand about it, positively.
6475  Other / Off-topic / Re: Fake topic started by an idiot theif. on: April 05, 2019, 03:25:12 AM
Bitcoin haven't caught at $5,500 but it's still a good run, took some profits and didn't let my greediness take me again to the next level. Now the market sits @ $4,900 and was followed by bloods on the streets again.

I think that $6000 is the bull bear line for bitcoin. It needs to get above that and stay above it for a better confirmation of end of the bear. It could happen this month or take more time.
I still don't consider that if ever bitcoin reaches $6,000 soon, that doesn't make it the bull run. We still have a lot of time for this year to determine if we're going to get out of the bear or not. But we have been refreshed with that pump lately.
6476  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Casino affiliate marketing on: April 05, 2019, 01:44:53 AM
The popular technique that I've ever known just because of watching on youtube is when you grow your channel and your content is all about crypto casino's. You can always encourage your viewers to sign up under your referral link and give some rebates with what you have earned from them.

I remember I saw this technique in the forum, when some of the marketers give a portion of the affiliate profit to their referrals.  It's profitable if you have large supporter and most of them are active. I've asked few people about this, some says that it's not for life time but it's good while it lasts.
6477  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Pacquiao Vs Mayweather 2 on: April 04, 2019, 07:00:19 PM
It could be Pacquiao vs Thurman or Spence next. No complains if either of those two will face Manny Pacquiao though. Both are young in the prime of their career, champion themselves so it will be very exciting to see them face Manny. Can Manny deal with those fighters at their peak of their? We need to find it out.
I've read those articles about Pacquiao vs Thurman but not with Spence. This is going to boost either of the two if they will face against Manny Pacquiao. I'm very confident that Manny can deal with these fighters, who's the fighter that he can't deal with?  Smiley

Well I just wanted to include Spence in the discussion because during Spence's last fight, Pacquiao went inside the ring, acknowledge the champ but he started to talk trash but saying that he will give Pacquiao his last pay-check, or something to that effect. So I wanted to see how he will deal with Manny's speed and experience and teach him a lesson or two.  Grin. Thurman is also calling Manny way back then, he doesn't look impressive at his last win, so most likely Manny will have a chance defeating those two fighters, imho.
What? so this was the guy that I've heard did that. Interesting. I'm starting to see this guy who talked trash to Manny get what he want. Last pay check? come on, Manny's a humble guy and he will never act that he's bullied.

I wanted him to teach that guy a lesson as well.
I want to see Manny teach them a lesson too that they never felt before so that they can remember it before they sleep at night. Only if it is fair in both sides without the undeserving results that could make the fans regret while they were watching.

What makes these two talked trash to the 8 time world champion? They must have some aces on their hands?
Hahaha it would be too much if they will remember it before they sleep at night. There's freedom of speech so that's why they talk the way they want.

There is another viral video on facebook about Mayweather. A lady, talked trash to him and called Floyd "I don't like you, chicken". Something like that. And that's freedom of speech but it's funny that Floyd and his team just laughed at her.

6479  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Sec on: April 04, 2019, 12:32:06 PM
Wow, so this will make the ICO market lively again. They will consider that tokens will be classified as securities, they are eyeing on it and future development will be applied to most upcoming projects and tokens that will do crowdfunding in the future.

It appears that only ICo and tokens that will be launch in the future would be able to use those rules.
I guess so that new projects will be the only coverage of these rules.
6480  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Elon Musk is launching his first ICO! on: April 03, 2019, 11:00:52 PM
I have read this news a year ago but is there really an ICO that Elon Musk led?

I tried to look for some reliable updates about this coin but I haven't found anything, have you found anything? because it seems that there's no news and any update regarding this coin or project that Elon Musk did.
If elon wants to create its own ico and there will be a lot of media will try to create a lot of publication to that news. If there was not a lot of updates regarding it and then that has a chance to be another fake news or ico.
You can google that but most of the articles that I've found yesterday were all published last year and that's why I don't know if it's still a legit project or not.

Guess what happened today?

Check twitter account of Elon: https://twitter.com/elonmusk

He posted about Dogecoins and changed his personal text into "Former CEO of Dogecoin".

Lol. At least he likes to make fun of this bullshit and do not let people start to lose money in investment that doesn't really exists. He have already say many times that he still didn't study Bitcoin enough to understand and invest.
But you we wouldnt know that he do already invest behind, right? I actually laugh about his tweet with Dogecoin. It seems like this thread is just pure speculative or pure assumptions.
Ow, I didn't knew about that he still didn't understand and invested to bitcoin.

The incident today that happened to his account is just him trolling? probably, right?

Okay, now I am pretty confused what is the April Joke and what is not  Grin.
I knew that Elon Musk was optimistic about cryptocurrencies, but he didnīt promote them. But what is happening now, his profile is full of crypto news  Grin.
Did he influenced the world with those tweets that lead the market into this? lol. It's probably a joke and now his account has changed his bio. There's another post he made though.
