If there are opportunities to be evaluated, keep holding in the background. So, holding is also tactic, but a little dead. Do not know, just waiting for the time when the market is right for you.
Thats a very general concept of the market that you should not panic and continue to hold if prices drop. You have entered the market because you have the belief that the asset you bought is going to go up. With bitcoin you can always be sure that in future the long term price rise will be happening and it wont end up like what inflation did to fiat.

What becomes difficult for traders, specially the new ones is how long to hold. They become impatient and that is what takes away a golden opportunity. Someone out there is willing to buy in case you panic sell. So its your loss if you do that, but you are welcome to do that if you feel so. Cheesy
6462  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto ‘Won't Turn Out to Be a Complete Delusion' on: April 13, 2019, 05:12:58 PM
sure, everybody has own opinion, that's quite normal.
Surely because the difference in  opinions and given the power to create a new coin within seconds every other person here can get another shitcoin going and promote it for a future pump and dump. Nobody actually cares where you are putting your money in and even if you buying that shitcoin you are the one who is soon going to be in loss. Grin

Quote
regarding crypto - well, some believed it and participated on the early stages which brought immense profits. though, we act blindly in many cases like this
That is a vague opinion. People had bought at low prices and they did sell at high prices. Again there were people who missed the train and becoming over enthusiastic they bought at all time highs and suffered big losses. What is profit for one will be loss for another one. Smiley
6463  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How gambling sites can cheat you on: April 13, 2019, 05:08:10 PM
Probably the safest would be to play a game that doesn' go against the house.
No such "game" is actually "safe". In fact the word safe is just a term that we are so fond of using while everyone knows that we are all going to lose if our luck turns on us. There are games where you can get an edge over the players and these are EV+ games. But they are also having a luck factor.

Quote
Dice and other house games can have easily manipulated results since it's the house that runs their systems.
You are quite mistaken there. Although it is possible to manipulate bets, people of this community actively take out such scam sites and report them here. If you keep an eye on this forum you will be good to go.

Quote
Betting on sports though or playing poker with other real players removes the house's influence on the outcome.
The income from the player for the house in these games is a participation fee or the amount lost. Luck plays a role here too, but yes your skills can make a difference.
6464  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Day Trading on: April 12, 2019, 05:22:40 PM
Yes you can trade I think at any time and not depending on experience , for training I would recommend starting with a minimum Deposit , but day trading can save your Deposit than if you just hold
Starting with minimum deposit is good but then you will face two major problems : not having enough money to buy a decent amount of your coins and not having enough to complete the order of that coin (dont forget the trading fees). An amount of 100$ is pretty basic and what people should start off with when trading.

Saving your deposit makes no sense though. Buy some coins or dont deposit at all. Holding fiat wont have any good effect here unless you are playing a  bear market where buying at low price is your main concern.

In trading, such two qualities as discipline and patience are very important, some are simply not able to wait for the course to reach a certain value and run to the crypto currency that has grown very quickly
That which has grown quickly should be handled with caution. They dont necessarily mean a good coin. They may be a pumped up coin. You never know.  Wink
6465  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading for the Inexperienced Traders on: April 12, 2019, 05:16:21 PM
Any business should be approached responsibly. If you do not have at least basic knowledge, it makes no sense to start trading. Otherwise it won't do any good.
I am not sure how to idea of business is coming here. Of course without basic knowledge anything is going to be a failure but how does that relate to a business?

Thanks to the author for the topic, very useful tips for any trader, regardless of the level, I want to add that it is also important to choose promising cryptocurrencies and as many of them in your portfolio
How do you decide a promising currency or not? In this market 99% of the coins being circulated are nothing but shitcoins created to make money, not for the investors but for the team of that currency. They will do a whitepaper and feed you with their BS koolaid and then dump their share where they have a nice pump in price. Nothing new here but its an effective mode of making money for them.
6466  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Perfect Dice experience on: April 12, 2019, 05:08:11 PM
I don't know why I am getting involved every time till I am getting the loss only but still now I can be e interested about the game how to play every time I think it will be more interesting and addictive only we can continue everytime and it will possible in this field also.
There may be interest but one needs to think carefully if that is interest or just the greed playing with their minds making them bet more and more and waste money. I think people need to consider this carefully before gambling. The perfect dice experience comes from a big win but to be honest a common person wont get a big win in just their first game. So they will play more and more getting addicted to it.

I always feel happy when I was doing gambling especially gambling with games will be more attractive friend addicted to me but in sometimes only it will be giving the tensions but in all times cambly is like a fun for me too use every time.
It may be fun for some but it is definitely not fun for everybody. So the dice experience should be kept in control by everybody who gambles.
6467  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I want to buy real estate for bitcoins in the future. on: April 11, 2019, 04:59:25 PM
Though you'll find less people outside the crypto community accepting crypto payments for such large sum.
If the OP makes up a business in a country where bitcoin is popular and people use it freely then they wont face problems in getting payments in it and interconversion between local fiat and crypto. This type of a system is still not popular in most countries.

Quote
We know that it'll be a good deal to receive payments in crypto especially when the market is down.
From the business point of view it is better if payment are pegged to USD value of bitcoin. That way it does allow the person to accumulate more crypto, since everyone likes to inflate their bags whenever possible.

Quote
But there are also quite a lot of legalities you have to arrange as well if you're not buying a local property.
That is the main problem here. I dont see any solution here at all other than bribing the authorities (just kidding). Grin
6468  Economy / Economics / Re: Opinions about the emergence of new Coins on: April 10, 2019, 03:24:49 PM
They are good for the crypto market ecosystem, but if the number of coins that do not meet expectations is too wild will have an impact on investor confidence in the next new coin related to ICO that is being run.
They are bad for the market. I can cite a hundred reasons why having a million shitcoins for the same system makes them redundant and a source of investor scams. Everytime a new coin comes out with some new age Bullshit agenda, some koolaid infuser comes in with their conspiracy theory of why that coin is going to take over bitcoin. Sometimes give me a good laugh.

Quote
For bitcoin and other altcoins, it will not have a significant effect, because the holder has strong trust in the coin (loyal holder).
Bitcoin does not even come into this picture. All of the other coins are just plain koolaid teams. If you want to hold something that is not shit then just buy and trade bitcoin. As simple as that.
6469  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to survive on: April 10, 2019, 03:20:06 PM
I think the first thing you have to look at is market conditions, it will determine the next choice such as holding, continuing trading,
investing more, and so on.
No necessarily. I have seen enthusiastic investors buying bitcoin at high prices just because they want money to invest in some shitcoin. They are obviously fed with the bullshit propaganda and they accepted it as well. Not that it is a healthy thing at all. I would prefer your statement but its not what happens everyday. Cheesy

Quote
if market conditions are positive, then keep trade and invest more!
What exactly does "positive" market mean? It can be positive in many ways. Having a green run is not a time to buy, rather sell. If you mean positive as more development occuring then that is a good thing but again try to enter at a low price than a pumped up price.
6470  Economy / Economics / Re: Banks against the crypto on: April 10, 2019, 03:16:19 PM
Banks do not even need to adapt after the appearance of cryptocurrency. They will continue to work in their normal mode, since they are fully under state protection. Banks, most likely, will lose a part of their clients due to cryptocurrency, but this will not particularly affect their operations. They will always have enough work and sources of profit.
Although the bitcoin community talks about overthrowing the banks this is something that is impractical and absurd. It wont happen in the next few years at least. What can happen is the growth of bitcoin and the acceptance as an alternative mode of payment and a currency. It does not necessarily need to take over the banks. Fiat will be there in future as well as crypto. There needs to be a balance between the two.

Since people take crypto as more of an investment today I see a good future in the hodlers of bitcoin and their profits. Let banks continue to do their thing, and let crypto people do their thing.
6471  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: On what kind of gambling you got maximum reward from betting? on: April 10, 2019, 03:12:17 PM
But i wanna know what does ev actually means ?
EV stands for Expected Value. Its a method of measuring whether the odds are against the player or the player has some odds of winning as well.

Quote
Anyway  , i dont agree that poker is purely dependent on skill , if it is then why i still loose at most times even though i have alot of experience playing a poker or any card game ?   The cards are being shuffle randomly  , its the same as dice games or any other gambling games out there  . but anyway  ,  my huge bet was came out on roulette ( casino based games )  it was done locally because on our place there is a nearby casino .
Poker needs luck as well. What you are holding in your hand is not by skill but you get them by virtue of your luck. Then you apply your skills to outwit your opponent. Its not that you are going to have a skillful game right away. That needs huge amount of experience and practice, something that professional poker players do.

Roulette is also an EV- game so be careful how much you are betting in it. Again local casinos are renowned for rigging games so be careful out there.
6472  Economy / Economics / Re: what makes us good investors. on: April 09, 2019, 02:15:55 PM
Good investors that are successful are not made in a day they have to master the art of discipline, patient and learning from one's mistakes. Good investors know when to cut losses we cannot make a profit all the time. There are times that a trader makes lose but reducing is what matter most.
In the first place they are just investors or small time investment bankers. Thats where they rose from. With trading stocks and commodities gradually moving the precious metals and now cryptocurrencies. Although crypto is a new sphere to them some like it while other dont.

I dont think calling some good or bad is our job to do. We should not judge someone like that but rather see what mistakes people have made and search methods not to make them ourselves. In my opinion that is what makes us "good", or rather "better" than others. Skill development has a different importance altogether in trading and investing and being good in that will help us in the long run.
6473  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Daily trading experience on: April 09, 2019, 02:11:57 PM
the trading experience of mine was always been ended up with good profit but in Sundays the profit percentage was reduced but still now I can get me income frequently so it will give the satisfying life at the end.
The weekend trading is always a good view to the eyes. We get some good greens or some bad reds. Either way its a good income since you can either sell on profit or buy on dropping. Those who are trading and keeping up with the market will understand the essence of the weekend, its not for every newbie trader out there who just wants to get rich by putting their hands in some shitcoin.

the work pressure is little higher in daily trading but the profit amount is also higher that's why it will manage itself the pressure to be get satisfied but the problem is we don't have the time to take rest and take some relax that is the only problem available in daily trading.
Well truely speaking, day traders do trading as their only job. So if you are not in a position for that then dont try it. Not everything is for everyone. For the rest of the population watching the market and buying low selling high is a safe bet.
6474  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Have you ever managed to recover your losses? on: April 09, 2019, 02:02:52 PM
I've never recovered my gambling loses by gambling. But I've done so by other means. Gambling is rarely a source of income for anyone.
My gambling experience have made me a better and responsible gambler.
I really doubt how much that is true. Being a gambling addict and a responsible gambler more so a self-entitled one is most of the time false. People call themselves as responsible because they want to hide their addiction since they are ashamed of it but have to give in to it. So they try to make themselves look good in front of others like that.

Quote
With strategy on the amount, nature and time of bet, I can proudly state that I'm in profit for the last 2 years.
LOL Now I seriously doubt your claims. No gambler is ever in a profit for such a long duration while continuously gambling. If you are playing at a proper casino then the house would have wiped out your balance long time back. But If its true then good luck on holding on to that money and not wasting it. Grin
6475  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Revival is On The Way - According to a trader on: April 08, 2019, 02:14:46 PM
Besides, there are too many "experts" with their own (wrong) theories.
Talking about those experts, most of them are just dipshit nutheads who are promoting their own scam coins that they have been paid to promote. Who cares about what you buy and if you are buying a shitcoin or not. They want their money and they will poke your instinct in every manner possible so that you buy into their koolaid propaganda. Do not trust any so called "financial advisor" but do your own research. Those guys are the one actually making money from both the coins whom they are promoting and also from the members who are paying them for their advise.

Besides doing a little bit of TA is not tough if you are willing to learn it from the internet writeups. Do that and although it wont be successful everytime but it can be helpful in many ways.
6476  Economy / Economics / Re: How much important bitcoin for entrepreneurs? on: April 08, 2019, 02:10:29 PM
the purpose of the investment is to definitely benefit from the capital for the investment if the money multiplier I think is not so because we also wait for the process of confidence and patience in investing
Dude you wont find a money multiplier in every investment. In fact those who are telling you stories that their platform can give you several times of your capital do not believe in them. Those are mostly ponzis and you are free to put your money in any pyramid scheme out there if you are willing to risk it, I am just posting my opinion.

Crypto will be very important for entrepreneurs to keep up with the times. Entrepreneurs must be able to program for themselves and their companies to be more classy and quality. Crypto provides a good solution for entrepreneurs and this certainly provides positive benefits for its progress.
"Classy"? The first question they face when you say that they accept crypto is that, "Dont you know its a ponzi?" People out there literally laugh at your if you mention crypto or bitcoin because they think its a huge bubble about the burst. Dont know if that is classy at all. We need more adoption and breaking of these fears before being into a "classy scale"  Grin
6477  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Have you been able to resist? on: April 08, 2019, 02:07:09 PM
If we are speaking about addiction, you can't even control yourself nor think that you are doing something bad.
It does not need to be that bad to be declared as an addiction. If you see a person not being able to keep themselves away from gambling every now and then even with times of respite in between then that person is gradually getting addicted and as a fried our work is to try to bring them back to the proper path.

Quote
Do you get it? Addiction is a real problem, it is not just something that you just forget, that you just get busy into something and it will be done, no it is not. It is hard, so hard to get addicted into something, that is the reason why there are people needed for that type of disorder.
Its very easy to get addicted to things that tend to form a physiological dependence. Its the same with drugs and gambling. People need to watch over themselves or their family members need to. Being able to get money for just the fun means they are getting addicted. Its dangerous and potentially harmful for susceptible people.
6478  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Keep proper distance but not losing passion on: April 08, 2019, 02:02:02 PM
Traders should use what works for them.  I don't make my trading complicated. I keep it as simple as possible. Learning trading from complicated trading methods don't work very well for me.
Its all a part of the perspective. What is complicated to one person is simple to another person. Fact is that the first person is less educated in that field than the second one.

So it is not a first time impression of what trading is rather a long term experience and knowledge gained from that used to determine is it complicated or not. In fact learning them does not do you any harm but obviously is good if you are willing to use that knowledge to trade in future and correct previous mistakes. Of course at this moment holding is the thing to do. Do not buy at the pumped price of bitcoin but watch where it goes to.
6479  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to survive on: April 07, 2019, 08:34:19 AM
Stocking up are just for those who have funds though. I can feel the disappointments of those who only have few coins to hold since the start of 2018. They probably had solve everything before the year end.
Pretty much that. They are obviously sad now that bitcoin reached 5k USD and still seems strong after the short correct rally to touch 4.9k and then back to 5k. I am hoping it will reach 5.5 and 6k soon this new week. If people didnt take their time out to buy some before this pump then they will have missed out. Here we come to the discussion of "spare cash" - who have how much to spend and when they run out of ammunition.

Not expecting this bull run to last too long though. A big dump may always bee incoming who knows when. Lets be steady and watch out for any distress signals in the bull trend.
6480  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto ‘Won't Turn Out to Be a Complete Delusion' on: April 07, 2019, 08:29:26 AM
And it's already bring used today. It has actual use and actual demand and i'm pretty sure that future transactions will move around crypto and digital modes. That makes it relevant. Maybe you can't see it now but a lot of us do see bitcoin becoming one of the top altrrnatives to fiat a couple of years from now.
The use is still very small among a certain niche of users. Specially those who are hedging funds with crypto, gambling, trading and those who live in countries where crypto is accepted as official mode of payment. It may be a good alternative to fiat but there is some speculation among people who are not yet knowing this side that its something to do with criminal and all. This thought has been propagated by the wrong people to instill fear.

I see nothing wrong with buying and asset and then selling it when the price rises. Then buy more once the cycle restarts. Its profitable and does not need the opinion of others to weaken your resolve.
