6481  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Not sure were to post this but It looks like a fake wallet. on: October 26, 2017, 04:53:15 PM
Hmmm blockchain again???

It's mostly blockchain or coinbase who's name is being abused by phishers, which directly comes from their massive market share. I remember having seen quite some blockchain phishing sites pop up on top at Google when searching for blockchain. I am fairly sure that one of these phishing sites was very similar to the domain being displayed in the screenshot. I am quite paranoid from nature, so for that reason I always triple check URLs, but there are enough people out there who just blindly click on a link if it looks familiar at first glance.

Question to OP -- did this email show up in the same mail address you use for Bitcointalk, faucets, crypto sites, etc? I always use a seperate mail address for every site or service I sign up at, which seems to be the best way to go.
Most of the time if we do accept these kind of emails these are being caused on those sign ups that we do made on a certain site which they do really have the compilation or record on our email and added up into the list.Same as yours i dont really tend to use up my main email rather than using on those dummy emails.Coinbase and blockchain is commonly used because they do have lots of users and yet the template can be easily be copied just like the original one and if you are really not making any reviews on those urls then you will end up on getting scammed.
6482  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Would you download an trading tool that is google chrome extension? on: October 26, 2017, 03:59:33 PM
Would you download an  trading tool that is google chrome extension? I know that some people kinda afraid that it will be a scam and somehow their information will get stollen.
What will make you gain confidence and download it? what does the company need to have/show to you in order to gain your trust?
Downloading randomly on a trading too which is a google chrome extension? No and i wont do such thing ever. Why would need that thing if those exchangers or trading site do already provide all the tools that you do need?
Just like what others said here those kind of situation would really get yourself into trouble if you are not careful enough then most likely you would really able to download a virus even those some anti-virus cant even detect. Dont bother into these things but well its still your own choice for your own convenience.
6483  Economy / Speculation / Re: Why do we keep converting bitcoin back to dollars ? on: October 25, 2017, 07:05:50 PM
Remember that almost everything in the world still needs to be paid with physical money. I can't buy a pizza in my country with Bitcoin, for example. Even those merchants that accept Bitcoin will usually sell them for dollars to pay their bills, because they can't do that with Bitcoin yet.

Give it a few years and maybe we will start seeing people living just by exchange Bitcoins for goods and back and forth.
This is one of the reason why do people do make conversions because bitcoin isnt still considered to be used to pay on bills and other stuffs we do basically do in life.Just like in my own situation i do actively convert my bitcoin earnings to my local fiat because i do really need to do it because i do need to use in order to live. Some portions of it would really be saved on bitcoin form but on big partition most of it will be converted and invest later if i do see already some opportunities that would give me even more money. Its just really on people preference and needs.
6484  Economy / Economics / Re: How do manage portfolio efficiently while having a full time job? on: October 25, 2017, 05:58:19 PM
By having a weekday 9-5 job, i must say my eyes aren't that keen anymore for trends and hardly made any good decision on buying/selling alts. Basically what i did is:

Weekdays: Coinalarm app to observe my portfolio real time but it's far less efficient and responsive to market movement, Slack and Telegram app are linked as well but still is very difficult to process insightful information while in working mood.

Weekends: More active than usual but time is limited  Undecided

Any opinions or suggestion to improve my current situation?

Thanks in advance and sorry for bad english  Sad

You know it's not that hard* if you are used to do trades. I too have lots of loads on hands in real life but still able to manage my portfolio. Believe me even you are hectic on your schedule there are lots of ways to manage your portfolio in terms of price monitoring. Of course you need to execute trades when you have time even you are busy but what matters here is , you know the price movement.

I can't give you a specific way as I believe you are the one who can think of a good way. Just try to explore out of your precious brain and soon you can make up a nice way to deal with your concern.
No one cant really give an specific way since we do have our own unique way on engaging into things. We are the only ones who do have idea on what times are most likely we are busy and which is not.Time management would really be crucial and if you are really serious on day trading then this thing would really be a tough job for you.Having a 9-5 job and a day trading will not really be an easy stuff.Time and focus will really be needed specially on price movements.Usually i do make use of blockfolio which most people are saying the same thing too.
6485  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Recover blockchain.info wallet password - 0.5 BTC bounty on: October 25, 2017, 04:59:43 PM
If you use code from your imagination (Brain memory) Relax and try to remember the day and the surrounding environment (And the moment)  that you chose the code  or Try several times The codes you use in e-mail and other sites

If the code is in a sheet then you lost it ,  You must contact support blockchain Ask them to change or restore the code of your wallet

What code are you talking about? Is it the password or the recovery phrase? because you can't just ask blockchain.info to change or restore any of them as to the best of my knowledge, they claim that they don't have an access on your wallet so asking is futile[See the quote below]. Blockchain.info cannot help even if you ask them. The only way for op to access his wallet is to have his recovery phrase or to crack the password.

Unfortunately, we're unable to help you re-gain access to your wallet if you've lost or forgotten your password. This is because we don't have access to your wallet or your wallet password.
Maybe he do mean about on those phrases since those are still considered as codes that would access your wallet. In the situation he do have the identifier and email but those credentials cant really still able to recover the wallet. If you do try to make request on change password or find email you would always be asked on those phrases that had given to you to save up. If you lost up those phrases then expect its nearly impossible or even 0% chances on having no access on the wallet.Just being stated above even blockchain site itself cant help out on this issue.
6486  Economy / Securities / Re: We design, build and install mining rigs in Kuwait, on: October 25, 2017, 04:35:01 PM
How do these differ from the rigs we use now? Even if the internet is different, and I am pretty sure it is not, the rigs still perform the same hashing on the same data. Is there a reason in Iraq to need your rigs, or elsewhere. I am just wondering why you started doing this. Is it hard or illegal there to bring in outside rigs?

We are in Kuwait, not Iraq.

We mine in Kuwait because it has the among the cheapest power in the world. It's very simple.

No it's not so simple. Stop necroposting this scam scheme of yours and beg elsewhere.
You wont get anything here and that's a fact. Very simple indeed! Wink
No idiot would really even transfer $1 on OP's wallet address for sure.If he do really concern on his business proposal then better to do it physically which he do find investors near on the place because no one on this forum would really entrust huge money on random people on the net.We are talking big investments on here and no one would really just go into your place just to check your legitimacy.I would rather spend those amounts on fare on buying my own GPU. It would really be much better for me and thinking off that average cost of electricity on my place would still able to generate me profits.
6487  Economy / Economics / Re: Why people scam on: October 25, 2017, 03:58:11 PM
Getting a job is not possible for everyone, not everyone has family or [friends] to help them and sometimes they will make the bad situations even worse them. If you've ever really needed money and were very desperate, than you probably know that people would let you starve to death rather than give you $5.

It's weird how people won't toss out just a few dollars to help someone in need, yet they'll spend $10000 or more on their pet that has an average life span of under 5 years.

But then again, if you give the person in need money, they'll keep coming back for it. It's a real crap shoot

People scam maybe they are in need but some scam because of a big money is involve. They want to have it in just a second for not thinking of the feelings and situation of others.Maybe they can get that big value of money but rhey dont know that what ever tou sew you will reap.Theres a time for them for to lose what they robbed to the people.

Most of the people scam. People need to more money so it use the way. It will not good for the country. That the reason for the scam. It will use to start increases the black money and country will go down and economy also down. So some one scam it will be affect the other people file and future growth. It will be use to selfies.
So don't do that it affect other people and country growth.
If you do talk already on the amounts that can affect countries growth then you are talking huge money for you to be able to give effect on it but talking on small scales scamming is really a normal thing and reality that to exist on this physical or either on online world since there are people who do really have criminal minds which they do always think off on how to get money easily instead on doing hard work they would rather decide to scam or decieved other people.
6488  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: What is your ideal crypto exchange? on: October 23, 2017, 09:10:26 PM
Hello everyone!

We are developers with a though of building a people`s crypto exchange. Devised by people

and built for people. What do you think are the biggest challenges
crypto exchanges face nowadays ? Have you suffered from the exchanges beore? What is your

ideal exchange? What features and option would you love to see if you could start an

exchange? We will build the people`s exchange solely on the vision of the community and your

advice.  Make an impact and tell us how you want us to develop the exchange and what

features to include?
First of all the main important thing for me is the security of the exchange.Make it sure that it would really be reliable and wont be easily be hacked just like what happen on some exchanges back in the previous years and i do believe this thing is the main concern specially on us traders which do make big amounts of trades. In this thing we wont really bother too much if the site security is realiable.Next would be less fees, most people do love this stuff that exchange wont really overcharge their traders or users of the site.Next, the GUI, it should really be friendly and not too heavy just like what we saw on Etherdelta.
6489  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: If bitcoin can be used in gambling. Is it possible to use it casino? on: October 23, 2017, 06:10:53 PM
ithink theres have casino accepting bitcoin payment for a casino chip like in online casino i encounter that you can buy a chip using bitcoin..
In my opinion, it is not only casinos but there are so many other places as well where you can implement this idea of using bitcoins as mode of payment.

There are likely chances that the owners of casinos start accepting bitcoins in their casinos in coming days. This will help the owners of bitcoin to live more comfortable life as well as it will help the bitcoin to earn more good reputation.
We would really come into that point on where bitcoin would really be accepted on most services here on physical world and it would really be a comfortable stuff for us specially on bitcoin users. For now i havent see any casinos that do accept bitcoin on exchanged for their chips but im rest assured sooner or later they will really adopt such thing knowing that there are already lots of online casinos are accepting bitcoin which means the trend will really expose even more and would possibly be adopted on physical casinos too.
6490  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: How to contact with poloniex support ( they do not answer ticket )? on: October 23, 2017, 05:11:05 PM
Just hang in there tight my folks!

I still strongly believe that Poloniex has their customers interests prioritized but that they are under immense growing pains at this time.

I've had a (smaller) missing deposit get credited after a week or so.

I hope you all get your tickets solved, as i did mine. and without trashtalking poloniex too much while they work for you. ;-)
Easy to say but not all people do have different issues and situations regarding on their trading activities and its really hard to calm down yourself when you do see your coin is stuck or whatsoever problem you do have on the site which would affect the profitability or even on worst cases you might really lose up big money if you didnt able to manage those coins inside which do really suck at all.For now i havent experience any problem on poloniex and hopefully it wont happen into me.The possible and nearest contact on them is just only on their support system.
6491  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Sending BTC - Transaction confirmed but no funds received. on: October 23, 2017, 04:20:25 PM
Hello, I tried to sent 2 amounts of BTC from my Coinbase wallet to my Wirex wallet over the weekend.

I sent one payment on Saturday and one payment on Sunday - the Sunday one has cleared but the Saturday one hasn't

But for some reason its been over 48 hours and only 1 of 2 amounts I sent have cleared into my Wirex wallet even though they are both showing as Completed on my Coinbase account.

This is the transaction on Blockchain.info for the problem transaction:

https://blockchain.info/tx/be9e8d3e03565ca7f5b3327906f1ef46e4883346983bb88f1c67c1cd08ebd102

Does anyone have any advice for me please? Thanks in advance for your help. I dont fully understand the information being displayed to me on the blockchain.info page above.

The problem transaction you're talking about which is this is already been confirmed so it should be credited on whatever wallet you've sent it to. If it hasn't, you should contact their support as this problem lies on them. Also check if they will halt their deposits and withdrawals to prepare for bitcoin gold.
This is actually right the transactions have been confirmed already which have been said the problem is on the wallet provider on which the bitcoins have been sent.If it doesnt show any balance on the wallet then the problem would really be on them. The best thing to do now is to contact them.Send support ticket regarding on the issue and do provide these proofs regarding on the transfer.I have experience this thing but not on other wallet provider but only on gambling site wallet. It doesnt show the balance even the transactions is already been confirmed.
6492  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: 💲💲 Bitcoin Gold already airdropped on Yobit !!💲💲 on: October 23, 2017, 03:46:47 PM
Yobit one more time listing a coin that doesnt even exists yet. It was the same thing with the Bitcoin Cash, they list IOU and manipulate the price so they can get it at a high price and when they receive the real BTG, they will sell immediately making a good profit and the rest of members will be able to withdraw and deposit only when fork has finished. I never trusted Yobit and I don't know how they are still operating in the cryptocurrency market until today. Those scammers keep coins that no longer have active blockchain listed to trick unsuspecting people like they did with Esp1.
We do really have the same observation which they did actually do the same trick on bitcoin cash which they are always ahead of time on launching or trading the coin even it doesnt even exist yet.Wondering on who are the ones are making orders on the site.It is actual trader or just a bot? I dont really trust yobit on this kind of situation and in fact i dont know  where they do get those price on each Bitcoin Gold. They are just starting to hype up or making some introduction on the price which isnt really accurate at all.
6493  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: what is the maximum amount you earned from air dropes/bounty tokens? on: October 23, 2017, 03:05:55 PM
iam a newbi to this field.there are so many airdrops and bounty campaigns.some of them are giving 10000-50000 coins free..are they scam?can we earn from those coins?please tell your experiences regurding these...what is the maximum amount you earned by selling thise free air drop coins?
This question would really have no definite answer for sure since potential earnings or profits would really always depend on the coin you are joining on either on airdrops or on its bounty campaign. There are lots of airdrops do happen everyday which you would able to get those coins for free on just doing on the required things that they do ask as simple as that and most of them are on erc20 tokens which is normally a day or week later they are already being listed on Etherdelta which is the thing i do observed.Heres my example i did able to make money on ETHD airdrop.
6494  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: job and trading together.. on: October 23, 2017, 02:41:49 PM
If you want to work and trade at the same time then I will advice long term trading. Day trading will be hard depending on your type of work. Most of your time use it to research good coins with potentials, immediately you find it then invest. That way you are sure to be walking out with something monthly.

True. But I guess what you said only applies to employees who do full-time jobs. Nonetheless, as you can see, when you do Bitcoin trading, it may seem open time or flexible but it actually requires thorough study. That is why trading is more attractive to people who holds or manages their time at their own pace. It is not for everyone. It is for businesspersons. Otherwise, you just keep losing all the money you got.

When you are a full-time employee, you can hardly make time to study your accounts, online data, and etc. Thus, you are prone to losing your investments. Of course, there are exceptions.

Take these statements with a grain of salt.
This is actually true because if you are really a full time employee which you wont really have the time to engage on trading and same as you said it does really require time for you to monitor your coin holdings which you would need to be active on checking either you are profiting or losing already and if you do tend to do both things while you are on full time then you would really have a hard time on doing it.Time will really be lacking on this one unless if you do have a job which doesnt really make you busy at all which would possibly for you to give the ample amount of time to make trades.
6495  Economy / Securities / Re: How do you decide which ICO to invest in? on: October 22, 2017, 11:10:09 PM
If they are transparent and answers everything I asked and replies quickly, I will be encouraged to invest on their ICO.
Not at all that going back on previous cases which a certain ICO gone scam they were active on the crowdfunding state which they do always actively answer communities question regarding on the project but yet later on they ended on scamming their investors which i would say this kind of indication isnt really reliable at all on deciding to invest on a certain ICO.Its not just enough. To lessen the risk better to search up things always like their whitepaper, roadmap, developer credibility and experience on this crypto field.
6496  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Medicine and cryptocurrency on: October 22, 2017, 10:44:17 PM
Give me your opinion about… Can the blockchain be applicable for the medical sector? Explain your pros and cons please. Thank you.
I have seen a certain project which it did involve medical sector. As far as i remember it is on Bowhead project which you can access their site on here http://bowheadhealth.com/ but going back and seeing on their recent feedbacks they do have a bad reputation since they do make a bounty campaign but participants not being paid on the amount on what being posted.Going back on topic its really applicable on such sector which we can able to see that theres someone who did able to make use of it which i can see it does really have the advantage rather than on its cons.
6497  Economy / Economics / Re: The magic of Money management on: October 22, 2017, 10:12:32 PM
Every experienced trader will say the money management in trading is the important thing to keep your account alive and for my experience in trading I lose many accounts die first to bad money management and second for greed and getting more and more money, after all this bad experiences and when I keep money management in my eyes now I get my money adjusted with my capital and I required for every trader to give the most important attention for money management.

The rules for money management for me:
1. Make goals that could actually be achieved with your skill level
2. Always trade with a stop loss
3. Never over trade your account
4. Trust your indicators
5. Always protect profits
6. Trade with investment capital, not grocery money

and for you what is your experience with money management ?
Option no. 2 is always my habit on which i do really always put a stop loss everytime i do trade.Once i do risk i do set out on the money that i can afford to lose up on a particular day which its always been suggested and on this way you are really managing your capital or bankroll which you can still able to recover up as long you do have still funds this is why we should really protect the funds as far as we can. When we are still a newbie its not really avoidable on making such mistakes on where we would really learn up from those wrong things that weve done and later on we would realize that we should not commit the same mistake anymore.
6498  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How do you secure your bitcoins? on: October 22, 2017, 08:57:45 PM
I am one of those who do not trust on-line wallets, I am afraid that if I kept my bitcoin there chances are someone can steal it from me or maybe I might forgot my passwords that's why I always convert my bitcoin into cash. Some are using 2 way authentication others are using paper wallets. it depends on you on where do you prefer the security of your bitcoin.
I think it is very hard. No one exactly knows how to strongly secure his bitcoin wallet, but I want to tell one thing that security should not be the problem of bitcoin holders it all about the coinbase or blockchain controllers to make sure that their security system is unbreakable and your bitcoin is in safe hands. Therefore I think people should not be panic about the security of their bitcoin wallets.
There are lots of option on which people can freely choose up on what wallet would suit them best on where they can able to see that it would be secure out our bitcoin or other coin holdings.Storing it on hardware wallets is really somehow much safer for me compared on those web wallet no matter how you say about the security been imposed by the site you dont still have the possesion of your keys which means once they ran off then you cant really retrieve your bitcoins unlike if you do have the keys you can access it anytime as long you do have the keys.
6499  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Hold more Bitcoin or Buy Altcoin in the red zone on: October 22, 2017, 02:20:25 PM
Everyone, should i buy more bitcoin to get BitcoinGold for free,, as Bitcoin hardfork
or Buy more altcoin in the red zone of Altcoin
Thank you
Do both things as long you do have the money to put on which this thing would really be a win-win situation for you or on us which both ways can potentially give us profits but yet at the same time it can lose up money if such coins would really go into opposite way on which we do anticipate.People now are accumulating bitcoin as much as they can since they do know they can able to get free coins which is bitcoin gold which would really give them free money for sure and later on they would put up those funds again on altcoin which we can presume price will surely recover on alts.
6500  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Long Term BTC Investment Is No More on: October 22, 2017, 01:54:35 PM
Altcoins were never considered as a long term investment by cryptocurrency traders because they rely over bitcoin. Sensible traders always shift their investment from altcoins to bitcoin whenever they feel a rise in price is about to happen, so the altcoins suffer a huge downfall.
Although long term trading of bitcoin is always preferred over short term trading but in case of altcoins it is better to do short term trading, because altcoins are highly volatile and you never know when it will going to dump.
You cant be sure since there are traders or investors do really think off on holding altcoin for long term purpose but actually i do really see this stuff to be good on short trades because the volatile is high and the value is still low which it can really potentially give us good profits and the thing about long term btc investment it is still worth it thing to do but dont expect that you would able to get 2x-3x considering on its current price its not really possible at all already. For now im do actively doing shorting on bitcoin.
