6481  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Bounties (Altcoins) / Re: [BOUNTY] [ICO] Primalbase: Distributed Workspace for Tech Community on: July 04, 2017, 12:24:30 PM
Will we receive PBT tokens also to our ETH addresses? (how is it possible if they launched it on WAVES blockchain?)
Primalbase is dual contract with waves and etherum hope this will help you. Try to read whitepaper or just ann thread for information before joining a bounty campaign that will help you to analuze the campaign if that is a good or not. Read before you join.
6482  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN]Pillar - The Personal Data Locker - 60hr Token sale begins July 15 on: July 03, 2017, 01:47:16 PM
There are too many ICO's in the meantime ... I will perhaps still participate in 1-2, then it is finish. Pillar seems to me to be a good choice. Wink

6483  Economy / Economics / Re: The legalization of bitcoin. on: July 03, 2017, 01:38:06 PM
Do you think if we create an initiative group for the legalization of bitcoin. To find uninhabited island, to announce the collection of funds for its acquisition. Everyone who contribute will receive a piece of this island. Based on the state of Bitcoin official currency of this state to make a bitcoin. Do you like this idea?
That is too impossible and maybe a wild dream. I am okay with the state of bitcoin now as a long term investment for me and a source of income let's just wait for the future decides what will happen in the bitcoin if bitcoin will be adopted or a new coin will surpass the bitcoin.
6484  Economy / Economics / Re: Is bitcoin a good way to invest your money ? on: July 03, 2017, 01:32:51 PM
I heard that bitcoin is a good investment for making a huge profit in the future , is that right ? Because i want to buy some bitcoin in these days .
Probably and you should because the bitcoin is a very good in investment because the bitcoin have a limited supply so in that case the bitcoin will surely burst in the future if many investors are going to invest on it and that is for sure because as time pass by many people are getting interested on it.
6485  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN]Pillar - The Personal Data Locker - 60hr Token sale begins July 15 on: July 03, 2017, 01:28:04 PM
I would like to know if for exemple every coin is sold out before the 60 hr,  will you guys close the ICO ?
I think yes, because just like every other ICO's there will close the crowd sale if the target market cap will reach because they only have limited supply of the coin Hence, it is included in the ICO that the coin in doesn't matter but the time is because in that way the volume and the price of the coin will be depended on the sale of that coin.
6486  Economy / Economics / Re: How can we make more money? on: July 03, 2017, 01:21:47 PM
What are the things to do to succeed in trade? What are you doing to make your business bigger?
How can we make more money?
Working hard and taking the risk in business is a must to get the right time of succession because no matter how many times you will fail you only need is 1 win to success, So I think we can make more money for taking the risk in investment and holding a coin here in crypto world.
6487  Other / Off-topic / Re: What wallets do you use? on: July 03, 2017, 01:09:59 PM
Which one suits you the most?
For me the online wallet because the online wallet that I used is you can exchange your bitcoin in to fiat in an instant and after that you can transfer it to bank and withdraw in just a few minutes and that suits if your bitcoin that you are holding is not that big because they can lock up your account.
6488  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin savings account? on: July 03, 2017, 01:07:33 PM
Is there any upcoming project that would act like a bitcoin savings account?
I think no project will be like that because there's a bitcoin wallet where you can hold your coin but there's ICO here in the forum where you are going to earn their coins by joining the bounty or just by investing in them by buying their coin with discount and wait for the distribution and sell it at the market if the coin is distributed.

ORIGINAL POST: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1950316.0

Our Team:

  • CEO Andrew Wagner, founder of CoinFest & Blockchain Gaming, Community Manager at NewsBTC and a director of the Bitcoin Co-op who promotes decentralized technology
  • President Michael Kuehn, the lead administrator of Conversational English who has many years of ESL tutoring experience
  • Chief Academic Officer Aldona Dziedziedko, an ESL teacher who got her Masters from UBC and is finishing her B.Ed. with minors in international education and curriculum development
  • Chief Operational Officer Adam Rizvi, the founder of Crypto Bates Group and CoinFest UK
  • Advisor & Board Member Brad Chun, CEO of the Mooti blockchain ID platform, Founder of Shuttle Fund Advisor
  • Concept Designer Isaac Nandgavkar, a dedicated crypto enthusiast who’s worked with multiple aforementioned projects

Smiley

6497  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What if Governments Shutdown the Internet? on: June 26, 2017, 11:54:34 PM
I honestly think Bitcoin isn't decentralized enough considering that government still controls the Internet and can easily censor or shut them down (is this even possible?) anytime.
The move by government to make us go cashless by gradually phasing out cash is even more worrisome, could make them have absolute control over us.
We need some sort of decentralized "physical Bitcoin" that doesn't depend on the Internet and can be exchanged for online Bitcoin.  It is too risky not to have offline alternatives to Bitcoin to act as backup plan for online Bitcoin in case something big goes wrong.

Pls I need to know something,  Is it possible to exchange Bitcoin with other people without being connected to the Internet?
Let say the government bans the Internet and you have your Bitcoin offline(in cold storage right?), can you exchange the Bitcoin to the next person by simply transferring some Bitcoin from cold storage to his/her computer, phone or even data storage devices(like SD Card, USB, Hard drive etc)?
If this is possible then no need for the "Physical Bitcoin"

I think if the government shutdown the internet the social or internet life will be perish along with the cryptocurrency because the cryptocurrency need an internet and gadget to access with, So I think that will be a very bad news to us and I think that will be impossible because many people are going to complain about that.
6498  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is Based on People's Faith on: June 26, 2017, 11:52:28 PM
That is right because the bitcoin is based on the supply and demand so as long as many people are investing into bitcoin the bitcoin price will go up. And the bitcoin is limited supply only so the tendency of it is always going up if many investors are investing to the bitcoin. So let's just hold our bitcoin for future.

6500  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin needs altcoins because ... on: June 26, 2017, 12:11:01 AM
For me bitcoin needs altcoins because if you want to own plenty of bitcoin and you don't have enough money to buy then trade altcoins that way you will have the chance of having plenty of bitcoin.
That is not the only purpose of the altcoin. Each altcoin have a a projects to be done just like many ICO in the marketplace (altcoin) section, So in mu opinion the bitcoin need altcoin for the stability and balance of the cryptocurrency in that way the investors and whales will be distributed among the cryptocurrency.
