6481  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Floyd Mayweather set for New Year's Eve fight in Japan on: January 06, 2019, 11:55:25 AM
Gotta be one of the worst fights I have ever seen, when did this even happen, I didn't even see much advertisement about it, compared to mcgregor vs floyd this was way under the radar. I guess they had a lot of advertisement in the asian community, he did get like 70m for this silly fight. At least mcgregor lasted 10 rounds, he even landed a few good shots, this was just pathetic.

I'll agree it was totally one sided and one of the most pathetic match ever played, it took placed on New Year's Eve. It's pertinent to note that the match was delayed due to Mayweather arriving late, he made it up by beating Tenshin in just 139 seconds. I feel such a match was simply done to make money from Mayweather appearance, and I feel they should avoid such kind of match in future.

I think now is the right time. You can be patient waiting for the crypto price increase in 2019, because currently the price of krypto is still below, so I think you can wait for the price you want to get a lot of profits.

Hey I'll agree with you as this is the time to be buying on the dips, and holding it for the long term as I feel prices shall rise upwards in the long term. I also believe that in 2019 we shall see positive movements in crypto prices, as there's a decent surge in adoption of cryptos. It's pertinent to note that many institutions are keen on getting cryptos as payment methods, and some are even paying tax with it which shall further fuel bitcoins prices upwards.

Leader has increased the gap even more. There's about 5 days left in the wager competition and various other competitions we have.

Here's links to them:

1.5 BTC Wager Competition: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5087598
Youtube Video Contest: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5090160
New Years Challenge: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5092864

The last five days of the competition and it's looks highly difficult now smarterpants will be dethroned, unless a big whale decides to show up and blow him out. I feel if you see other spots those are in very close range and those will definitely change hands, as I remember even last competition many people entered late and caused upsets. Also people you'll should definitely make most of these competitions, these are easy to participate and win.
6484  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: predictions of 2019 on: January 05, 2019, 05:30:03 PM
I am trying to stay positive for 2019, because there are no signs of a falling market right now. BTC is slowly nearing 4k USD, Ethereum will go far above 150 USD even before the fork. Everything seems great to me.

Hey that's the correct mindset for the year 2019, currently everything looks smoot for bitcoins slowly and steadily we're rising upwards. I feel once bitcoins can clinch 4K levels in coming days, it shall reach 5k levels also in coming months and if there's more adoption prices shall rise further.

In my case of this year will be good more than last year. Some times after middle of this year all major coins will starting to reach prices. Next year is turning point for all cryptocurrencies.

Indeed this year looks to be a good year so far, and let's hope we witness a bull rally going ahead in the coming months.
6485  Economy / Economics / Re: Fire in the market: Bitcoin is below $4000 on: January 05, 2019, 02:54:32 PM
as of today, bitcoin is bouncing back to4000 dollars which is a positive sign this year starting bitcoin is forming a green candle hopefully we see previous prices like 8000 dollars in the coming month

Hey Bitcoins has formed strong resistance around 3.5k levels, and if it continues to hodl it then I feel we may see 5k levels in a month or two. Also in comparison to last year there's relatively no fud yet, people are once again believing in the technology and adapting it. Lastly I also believe market sentiments are high as we have some big events lined up in quarter one of 2019, hence we should see some more upward movements in prices soon.
6486  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Asian Football Cup 2019 Discussion Thread on: January 05, 2019, 11:14:18 AM
for today there is only one match : UAE vs Bahrain

I'm taking UAE to win today X1.65 ( Betcoin or Asianodds )

UAE has great talents and they are expected to achieve 9 points from their 3 games , they are playing home as well and overall they are better than Bahrain
Bahrain has poor performance comparing it with the other Arabic Gulf countries and personally I watched their last friendly games without getting any good impression

so with the given odds I'm kinda sure there is good value in taking UAE , and that's my only bet for today

UAE is facing Bahrain for the second time in the Asia cup, UAE had won the earlier match so this could be a good opportunity for Baharain to avenge that loss. It's also pertinent to note that UAE who're the hosts are also regulars in this tournament hence that does give them a edge going ahead in this match. Also Bahrain Achilles heel is their sloppy defence, which I feel shall be exploited by UAE hence even I feel UAE shall win this game.
6487  Economy / Gambling / Re: FreeBitco.in - Contest with $30,000 in GUARANTEED PRIZES now live! on: January 05, 2019, 07:41:55 AM
I just noticed that someone with just 593 tickets won 0.69 BTC in the latest lottery round:

Great Christmas present for someone! This made me buy 800 tickets right away. Smiley

I also want to wish all the best in the New Year to all the Freebitco.in team! May the 2019 be a year full of success for you and for your customers! Smiley

because of this winnings I will try to claim the free roll again starting today and will buy few tickets from it. hopefully it can give me some winning spot after some time. not a bad amount you only need to win just once the first prize Smiley

I'll agree that guy seriously got lucky with just 593 tickets winning 0.69 btc is the perfect way to end the year and enjoy the new year. Hey yes that's a good way to get started on the site, those free rolls are a big plus as without depositing one can yet buy tickets and stand a chance to win. Also just checked my mail and there's 4x reward points for the weekend, perfect way to accumulate more points and then invest in tickets thanks freebitco.
6488  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin To Drop As Low As $1000 This Year on: January 05, 2019, 03:41:30 AM
Almost 1 year since this topic opened and the price of the bitcoin not down at what you expected because the lower value that bitcoin reached is only $3000 it is not good because more than 80 percent of the total highest price of yhe bitcoin already down but it still hope that I see because this time the market are stable and I think the next movement will up the value again and maybe your expectation will become 10 times for the next few months.

Hey Bitcoins was never supposed to touch 1k last year, this was a blatant attempt of fud spread by mainstream media to discourage people from buying bitcoins. As you have seen even after all the falls we never touched that level, because bitcoins is getting good resistance at 3k levels. I believe if there're more purchases, and influx of positive news then we shall see prices rebound further upwards.
6489  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Europa League/Champions League Lounge on: January 04, 2019, 05:41:21 PM
What do you guys think of Man United vs PSG at the KO stages?  Man United's odds of getting thru has prolly gone up with Mou gone (but then again, I like Mou's pragmatic approach in tourneys).

I favour Manchester United to win provided their leaky defence holds up, I see no reason why Manchester United can't walk away as winners. Manchester United have the worlds best keeper, worlds best midfielder and an exciting team, while Psg has big player like Neymar I feel Ole tactics will play a crucial role. I have a different opinion about Mourinho approach he would have fielded Fellaini, Mactommy and tried to slow the play, while Ole will simply attack and hurt Psg on the counter. Honestly had Mourinho been at the helm Psg would have won it easily, now they'll be fearing this Manchester United side.

6491  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2019 Cricket World Cup - Discussion & Analysis on: January 04, 2019, 11:20:56 AM

South Africa skipper, Faf du Plessis, just said the very same thing:

IPL 2019 just before World Cup is a concern: Faf du Plessis

https://indianexpress.com/article/sports/cricket/ipl-2019-just-before-world-cup-is-a-concern-faf-du-plessis-5522427/

Moreover:

Quote
Cricket Australia (CA) and England & Wales Cricket Board (ECB) have also directed their players to play in the IPL for a lesser duration to keep fit for the World Cup. Some of the notable names who backed out of the IPL were Mitchell Starc, Pat Cummins, Aaron Finch, and Glenn Maxwell.

I'm not surprised to read Faf statements it's a logical thing to say, as winning the World Cup is the biggest honour one player can wish for. If you see some players get yearly fees by playing two months of IPL for them it suddenly becomes a tough choice too, money or glory for nation. It's pertinent to note that even during the previous IPL tournaments Australian and England players have shunned IPL for immediate tournaments to be injury free, so this was expected.
6492  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: January 04, 2019, 07:23:49 AM
Juventus president, Andrea Agnelli has apparently instructed the clubs sports management to contact the entourage of Mbappe to check how feasible a transfer to Juventus is. Juve needs money to finance such a deal and Dybala would in that case be sacrificed. Would be sorry to see such a talent leave Juve and Serie A.

This will be a very interesting deal as PSG will benefit most from it, they easily ask for 150 million plus dybala as the part of the deal. It's pertinent to note that if Psg do decide to sell Mbappe other big clubs like Real Madrid, Manchester United will definitely want to purchase him. I'll agree even I don't think they have the funds as they just got Ronaldo on their books. Another transfer swap between Higuain and Morata is expected to go through, which is a good swap for both the clubs.
6493  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: January 04, 2019, 03:36:21 AM
Been reading news regarding a potential swap between AC Milan's Gonzalo Higuain for Chelsea's Alvaro Morata. Things are heating up ever since Milan's sporting director is considering not to trigger the 36 Million Euro buy option for Higuain in his contract with Juventus because of his recent form. Chelsea is on the same page as Alvaro Morata is under-performing in England and is expected to be swap out for Higuain there are no official talks yet but during last year's transfer window Morata came close to signing with Milan but it fell through.

The swap regarding these two has been going on for quiet a long time now, I feel it's a good decision if it were to happen. Alvaro has already played in Italian league and he was quite good there he'll help Ac Milan score many goals. As for Higuain he'll be happy to play in a new league, and with the players Chelsea have including Pulsic he shall definitely be a hit there. I hope Ac Milan invest in a new coach and makes sensible transfers, if they wish to compete going ahead.
6494  Economy / Speculation / Re: How do you see 2019 going for Bitcoin? on: January 03, 2019, 05:29:59 PM
What do you think this year will bring us in terms of price? You can also talk about fundamentals and market adoption to make your case.

I personally see a long bottom perhaps taking the first half of the year, as Wall St slowly enters the market over the course of the year and starts building up momentum in the price as OTC markets get thin on supply and have to buy off exchanges. I think the turnaround will only just get going this year and mostly it'll just be smart money coming in, probably won't see any FOMO happening this year as the general public won't notice Bitcoin again until it breaks through $20k and people not educating in Bitcoin's history realize 2017 wasn't an anomaly. I hope to see LN continue to grow quickly as well and an ETF get accepted by the end of the year. I think we might see $10k at the end of the year, rising from the $3000/$4000s bottom during the second half of the year.

I'm quite bullish and positive when it's comes to 2019 prices, last year bitcoins prices tanked due to fud and panic sellers but that's not the case this year. As we discuss demand for bitcoins is growing, and one can feel there's positive sentiments in the market that bitcoins prices shall be rising upwards. I believe that the confirmation of Bakkt and approval of Bitcoins Etf shall propel bitcoins prices upwards.
6495  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tennis League All Thread on: January 03, 2019, 02:07:12 PM

It's possible that Djokovic will surpass Nadal and Federer as far as Grand Slam wins. Djokovic is still strong and he was able to overcome the psychological barrier last year and started to win again. The only hindrance is that he gets injured again, but I guess he learn his lessons last year and knows how to take care of his body more so that he can continue to win more trophies.

I'll second that it's quite possible Nadal just returned a few days back, and he's already had to withdraw from the tournament his injuries seem to be persistent. Also while Federer had a good match recently I don't feel he'll be able to stop Djokovic. I feel that if Djokovic can maintain his fitness, and perform consistently he can be at the top there's no stopping him but I feel he'll face some competition from youngsters who'll try to beat him.

Predictions 2019: 3 potential triggers for the next Bitcoin bull run

So far, the price of bitcoin has decreased, many people ask questions, what catalyst is needed to trigger the next increase?

1.   The rollout of a security token ecosystem
2.   BAKKT dan munculnya pasar berjangka institusional baru
3.   SEC approval of a Bitcoin ETF

What do you think about this.
source: https://bravenewcoin.com/insights/predictions-2019-3-potential-triggers-for-the-next-bitcoin-bull-run

I agree Of all the potential catalysts floating close to the surface, the general consensus is that these three are the most likely candidates.

Hey you seemed to have missed out on Nasdaq Bitcoins Futures which is confirmed to be launched on 24th January 2019, I feel people should consider it as an important event. As for Bakkt is concerned there have been many delays, and yet there's no official approval in sight, however once it's approved we shall definitely see its effect on the prices. It's pertinent to note that the Sec verdict on Bitcoins Etf is scheduled for February 2019 end, and there's just a slim chance of it being approved, and if it's approved it's surely will boost bitcoins prices upwards.
6497  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2019 mens Australian Open (tennis) betting odds on: January 03, 2019, 07:39:35 AM
I don't know if you guys have read this news.

https://www.news.com.au/sport/tennis/rafael-nada-has-pulled-out-of-the-brisbane-international/news-story/9d00287c765a7433dba08b2fd82e3ec2

So he gifted Tsonga a win and advance to the next round. We understand his concerns though, we all know that he is not getting any younger and the injuries are taking its toll on his body.

I read this news and it's very sad that he's withdrawn from the tournament, he looked rusty but I wasn't expecting him to pull out. I'll agree he's not getting any younger, but those injuries keep on coming he really needs to address those before coming back. I believe Nadals absence is a golden chance for other players, to try and win as they won't have to face him.
6498  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: January 03, 2019, 03:39:05 AM
A new win for Manchester United, that's 4 victories in a row for Solskjaer who is now the second manager to achieve this feat after Matt Busby (a Man Utd legend who won the Champions League in 1969). I think even the most optimistic Man Utd fan didn't expect these results, the team is now 3 points behind Arsenal, and 6 points behind Chelsea.

And surprisingly, Chelsea couldn't win against Southampton...I think this makes things a little more exciting as we now have 3 teams fighting for 4th place.

Now looking forward to the big game tomorrow!

I believe I'm not the only Manchester United fan who's been singing Ole, Ole, what a dream start he's having never expected this Manchester United side to win all those four games. I believe he's having a tremendous impact and few more games like this, and he'll get the job permenantly, he's getting everything spot on with the team and his goal scoring substitutes. I also am happy Chelsea dropped points, Manchester United may just finish in top four, and that would be a remarkable journey for the club.
