6501  Economy / Services / Re: FortuneJack.com Signature Campaign – Earn 0.08 BTC!!! on: September 12, 2014, 01:24:26 PM
Wow.... people go for this when Cryptcominer pays 0.13 BTC and they pay daily, not weekly.

Well, I guess it's a personal thing. Good luck with your campaign, hope to join you, when my campaign colapse.

These type of schemes only last 2 to 3 months anyways. Last one, was 600 days.

For me it's just nice, getting paid for a chance. Before that, I got ripped off by 2 signature campaigns, and lost 6 weeks of good constructive posting.  Angry

Cryptominer is a scam and you chose to promote it. Yes, they may be paying you well, but they're hoping your signature will drive some suckers to their site and they'll rip them off for more than they paid you.

I wouldn't feel OK promoting them. There's a difference between earning in sig campagn and being total signature whore.

So yes, I guess you're right - it's a personal thing.
6502  Other / Archival / Re: Updated Overview of Bitcointalk Signature-Ad Campaigns on: September 12, 2014, 12:46:15 PM
2 spots needed for the FortuneJack campaign to start (senior or above). Total 12 available.
Any takers?
They pay up-front

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=778902.0

Edit: 1 more needed to start:

One more participant and we will send out first weeks payment upfront to those who already put our signature.

Do you use an escrow ?  @FortuneJack

No need. He pays up-front
6504  Economy / Services / Re: Up to 0.01 BTC weekly for YOUR SIGNATURE on: September 12, 2014, 11:16:45 AM
Just changed the campaign to FortuneJack (as they pay slightly better).
I'm likely to return to your campaign when FJ's one is finished. But if you want me to return the payment I got in advance, just pm me with your address.
6505  Economy / Services / Re: FortuneJack.com Signature Campaign – Earn 0.08 BTC!!! on: September 12, 2014, 10:52:53 AM
Thanks for enrolling me. I'll change my sig when the start time is announced.

Hi, Once the first 10 spots are filled we will announce start time immediately and once you put up our signature we will make an upfront payment.

Cool. You already got 6, so changed it now.

6508  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: Best mining calculator for cloud mining? on: September 11, 2014, 08:18:58 AM
I would go with coinwarz.com. It is one of the best for what you are looking for.

Thanks, but this one is based only on current difficulty level and doesn't seem to include the diff increase rate.

I found this one:

http://mining-profit.com/advanced-calculator

The default diff increase rate is set at 1.10 (per month?) - is it fair assumption?

There is no ROI for cloud mining. The only way you may pull a profit is if you sell your hashing shares to some other sucker. Granted, there are a lot of those out there.

My question wasn't whether it's a good idea to invest in cloud mining or not. I'm simply interested in what's the best way to calculate the price (BTC/Ghs) when it could be profitable.
6509  Economy / Services / Re: Up to 0.01 BTC weekly for YOUR SIGNATURE on: September 10, 2014, 09:48:37 PM
No as I already write bot check signature daily 6 time if he not found then he is not giving payment next week you can take just once

You get only one payment upfront, then you need to wear signature for 7 days. If you change signature during this 7 days then you need to wear singature again for 7 days from the day you changed your signature.

OK. That makes sense.

Thanks both
6510  Economy / Services / Re: Up to 0.01 BTC weekly for YOUR SIGNATURE on: September 10, 2014, 09:43:14 PM
Can anyone help me understand:

1- if after a week, I'll switch to other campaign (say for a month), will I be able to come back and enroll again later?

2- is there any mechanism to prevent abuse, ie when someone adds the sig, claims the upfront payment and removes it straight away? Will such person be banned?
Yes you can able to come back and enroll again

Not ban but bot check signature 5 or 6 time daily  for 7 days and then giving next payment

2 - if you don't get banned, then you could abuse the system every week (or even more often?). Is it totally based on trust?
6511  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Best mining calculator for cloud mining? on: September 10, 2014, 09:38:16 PM

What's the best calculator (or best way to calculate) for ROI of cloud mining?
I don't care about the electricity price or BTC/USD rate (since intend to pay with BTC). What I'm concerned is difficulty increase prediction.

Also, who currently offers the besr price for Ghs?

If there's already similar topic- can you send a link?

There is an affiliate program right now which should be much more useful.
Check out https://prcdice.eu/info/affiliate Smiley

There's seems to be the problem with my affiliate link.

It's loading slowly and this message appears:

Would you consider starting another signature campaign?
It's a perfect timing, after dicebitcoin crashed and burned and when there are no decent opened campaigns at the moment.

I know you were not happy with the effects of the previous one, but you had Primedice and DB running aggressive campaigns at that time.

This time you can offer much smaller payouts (since there's very little competition) and allow participants to add their referral links, so it's still attractive.

You could limit it to seniors and above (the sigs of full and below are just not visible enough).

Thoughts?
6517  Economy / Services / Re: [FULL]DiceBitco.in Siganture Campaign - Continued on: September 10, 2014, 01:05:59 PM
Alright, Dooglus and I have talked for a while and we decided the following:
  • 1. I will pay everyone (even those who dropped out/changed their signature/etc) , that have a positive post count (a few people have a negative or zero post count), with their post count at 14.21 (it's 14.38 now).
  • 2. Dooglus will continue this campaign until the remaining ~5.3BTC is used up, decide for yourself if you stay or not.

Payments will be send within an hour.

Thanks for that. Payment received. Sig changed so not participating anymore, hope there will be anything left for you and Doog to split.
6518  Economy / Services / Re: [FULL]DiceBitco.in Siganture Campaign - Continued on: September 10, 2014, 12:50:14 PM
TF, thanks for your pm.

Hi,

You currently carry DiceBitco.in in your forum signature. DiceBitco.in has scammed by rigging the dice rolls through skipping betting nonces. DiceBitco.in has not compensated all affected users for the rigging.

You can read more about the DiceBitco.in scam here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=774120.0

Please don't promote scams - please join a different signature ad campaign.
You will still be paid for posts made up to this point. You will not lose out on earnings.

To review your signature, go to Profile -> Forum Profile Information.

I consider promoting scams (like this site) untrustworthy, and will be leaving you negative trust if you continue to promote it.

PS: I do not accept PMs. To contact me, please email me at ciphertext@cryptolab.net (make sure to mention your Bitcointalk name).

Thanks!

The above is bullshit. You cannot guarantee that anyone will not lose out their earnings. Dooglus said so, but it may have been valid only till yesterday (9th) and he based it on the assumption that there will be a lot of early droppers. As for now, no one knows how much will be paid. We'll need to wait till Doog is back. edit: just saw the latest update

Other thing, If I went into agreement and obliged myself to wear the sig for the full month, wouldn't dropping it and breaking the contract be considered 'untrustworthy'?

Also, can you prove (above any doubt) that DB is currently scamming players?

ps Reported your pm to admins
6519  Economy / Services / Re: [FULL]DiceBitco.in Siganture Campaign - Continued on: September 10, 2014, 08:45:37 AM

I would love to payout everyone, but if we can't, well, we need to change something. I am not saying that what I said is what is going to happen. Because I need to talk to Dooglus before we change anything. Not going to say that again.

A question, has anyone actually dropped out yesterday? Other than those 2 guys who had no posts anyway. If not, the problem is non-existent.
6520  Economy / Services / Re: [FULL]DiceBitco.in Siganture Campaign - Continued on: September 10, 2014, 08:12:43 AM

Yes. However, normally when conditions change, people are given the choice of opting out of the contract at no penalty.  Treating these people second does apply a strong penalty.

What's more important, Dooglus stated (yesterday) that whoever decide to drop their sig , will get paid for that period:

...

I would recommend that everyone who is concerned that DB is a scam should stop wearing the DB signature completely, switch to some other campaign, and at the end of the month we'll pay you out for the 9 days you wore it for.

Then you don't need to add a disclaimer.

It seems unreasonable to expect anyone to pay you for advertising a site with "this is a scam" tagged onto the ad. Even if the rules don't explicitly prohibit it, common sense does. Why would anyone pay you to say they suck?
