Well, no reply on the power fluctuations but whatever.
When's an updated version of kbminer coming out? There's no decent AMD miner for Windows (whether C29 or C31) so our only options are Linux distros... but your hashrates are falling a bit behind (especially C29) on AMD.

I still don't know what to believe on the I2p shit so how are we supposed to know what imitative to support when we are in the dark on what the truth is?

Hell if the guy who wrote that article is right and he already wrote that loki code then we could hire him to code a C++ version.
We need to know the truth of the matter. I personally wanted to give anonimal the benefit of the doubt but I'm not impressed with his handling of the situation. Anyway, he said he was going to finish korvi so I guess we should decide after that is done...or not done.

I'm guess the plan with bitcoin is to keep block size unchanged and allow fees to go through the roof, to subsidize miners. Meanwhile, users will have cheap and fast transactions on lightning network. Win/Win?
I'm sure someone has done some projections on how viable that economic model is. It would be interesting to see.
I have seen many arguments here on BCT as why this fee model does not work and none as why it will work. By the way lightning network is not a solution. Just read the Lightning Network paper https://lightning.network/lightning-network-paper.pdf where they talk about 100 MB + blocks to make LN work. In any case I hate to say I told you so, but I sold all my Bitcoin for Monero over this issue with the bulk of the sales completed well over 3 years ago. Edit: The reason I found out about Monero in the first place is because I was researching this issue in Bitcoin here on BCT in 2014. I was reading an old thread you were in where Satoshi had commented that the code for bigger blocks would be easy and he gave a simple If then statement to show how easy. This idea is contrary to what Satoshi himself say about this problem : Lost coins only make everyone else's coins worth slightly more. Think of it as a donation to everyone. So every discussion on this subject actually challenges the ideas of the creator himself how things should work. What is lost must remain lost, and this is not bad thing at all. Correct, He said nothing about destroying lost coins only that without them being available all the others are worth more and for all we know they are not lost and forking them away would be stealing them.. |

I don’t wanna come of to big as a merit whore (but I do like to earn Some to send Some ) F*** they should make all the WO reg’s sources But down meta there been more merit giving to merit charts and sh*t as on BTC talk or good BTC related humor or whatever BTC related stuff @meta if Some one finds another merit chart or some kind of merit list or whatever Then MERIT flows like they are for free There are Some serious skilled Guys there that better be using their skills in other threads  Maybe they got tired of a zero sum game? |

Why? Jack is a bitcoin maximalist, and considers other coins to be shit/scams. He is the owner of twitter, but also Square. So many of the references that he is making is regarding square, rather than twitter, even though there may be some overlap in the future, too. In other words, his bitcoin maximalist stance seems to be following a similar ideology as the vast plurality of active participants of this thread. No? What's strange about that? Supporting Bitcoin is not questionable at all of course. Twitter's banning of accounts not repeating the left-wing kumbaya propaganda is. Ibian implies that Jack's hand may be tied on that one.  |

I was actually doing the same this morning (before I read your post), researching Uruguay´s visa options etc. They have the worlds poorest president, who gives 90% of his income to charity and drives a Volkswagen beetle.
Visa options for me are quite straightforward and easy to obtain, all in all the country seems to be a great place to live in, even weed is legalised. Might have a trip there soon to check everything out.
