![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=https%3A%2F%2Fi.imgur.com%2F2D7rY00.jpg&t=663&c=Tkf9W5idBdK2mQ) Next target 999 merit. 888 is truly a very nice figure, for you and your weekend beside recently amazing pumps of bitcoin. Congrats! Your targets are usually odds, 666, 777, 888, and now 999. I like them all, and my current target figure is 777, that is not too far from my current merit record, at 756. I wish that there is no one will spoil my merit points suddenly surpassing 777.

It is very good to know that there are still active promotions for 777coin casino. I know that 777coin has been owned by lightlord, who also owned BitVest casino. From my observations over months (I actually used to be one of BitVest signature campaign's participants, too), I felt like 777coin casino has been less promoted rather than BitVest casino.
Not only about promotions but also about the updates posted by lightlord, who tend to more regularly make updates in BitVest casino's announcement thread.
Generally and optimistically, your news give me good things about the 777coin casino.

Remove signature and bounty would clean spam from forum. But most likely forum will return back to 2009. Only couple of members you will find that who are active here only for discussion. There is few good poster as well who didn't wear signature, but they are not much active. Merit requirements on the campaign to evaluate quality. I can't see anything wrong with it.
The forum will become purer (significant less spam or spam-free) if signature disabled at all. In contrast, there are some adverse effects that the admin and we all don't expect (in my opinion, and I could be wrong). If it happens, most of projects will move to other forums, that usually have looser rules which in turn will trigger more scams. Generally, I only see bad things for crypto ecosystem, not only for the forum. Massive scams (I don't mention about spams) over many low-quality, loosely managed forums will destroy reputation of crypto ecosystem and somehow will play as barriers for future growth of crypto ecosystem. Low-quality forums are abundantly around us, and they will do fastly take any chances to destroy general reputation of crypto currencies. Merit system has denifitely worked (as it initially created for), so I think the left-over problems for now depends on managers of campaigns.
The forum is designed for text-based talk, so let's talk. Talk does not equal to spam.

Hi all in Playbetr community,
I created my account on the Playbetr site minutes ago, and honestly at my first glance the site is very impressive, from user interface (simple, neat, friendly-colors) to diversifying games from casinos to sports.
Unfortunately, I would prefer to use Night mode (if there is one available), but don't find where to change from Day Mode (default one) to Night Mode. Nowadays, most of casinos, exchanges have two modes (Day/ Night) for users, so I hope that Playbetr have them.
If the site already has those modes, please guide me how to switch from Day to Night mode.

I have seen one user who was banned due to banner plagiarism (at least I have known only one case, that one). Honestly, previously I have not known such things will be considered as plagiarism. In addition, I have also seen lots of users edited signature to make theirs without credits, sources. I don't know that without sources or credits to initial signatures, it will be actually considered as plagiarism by moderators or not. Anyway, to show respect to authors, I leave credits, and yes there is another reason, to be safe from any kind of bans, especially permanent bans. It is my honor to know that I have at least one follower. It somehow gives me more motivation to keep making good posts and help others. Thanks for your inspiring and kindly words.

Being the original creator for the signature design initially way back last year, I would like to add signatures for Jr. Members and Members so that it could be useful for them to wear and provide a support for the 10th anniversary. Here are the signatures based on tranthidung's minor edits
Firstly, I am sorry to forget to add credit link to your original signature but as you saw, I added link to Satoshi's lesson thread, in which you posted your signature. So, I meant, I did not have intention to shady steal your signature or something like that. For me, editing signature to make ones in OP take time and efforts, I have to correct them several times, and basically I don't have bad intention. Secondly, I edited OP with credits for your initial signature. Thirdly, I actually left credit for avatar above. I hope that you will accept my apology, and have a nice weekend, fella.

It is very simple to create your new wallet, with Electrum wallet.
File > New/ Restore Then a new window will popup and I suggest you to rename your wallet if you want to backup your wallet.dat file, beside wallet seed. It is only another type of backup your wallet but most important you need to do is backup your wallet seed safely.
After creating a new wallet, with new seed, and new set of addresses, to be safe, you have to retest your backups of seed, and password by open a wallet with backuped-seed and password.
Retesting them all successfully before start to use your new wallet.

# First, those one-liner spammers who spam a specific board needs to be taken care of by immediately getting banned from posting in that area, this will clear up around 20-30% of the actual spam happening on the forum.
It is too generally to solve spam like that. A good post does not mandatory to be a long one. A simple answer with Yes/No is enough for OP, even without explanation. To ban one-line spammers, moderators have to look at post history, and scan some posts in context, at least. Another minus point for your proposal is the list of unofficial rules of the forum does not have very strict punishments on spammers. Spam is rule violation and will be caught, reported, handled then temporarily banned or nuked. However, punishments depend on intensity and severity of spams.
If one temporarily banned, I think the ban should be applied globally, over all boards/ subboards in the forum; not only restricted in boards/ subboards that they made posts which triggered their temp-bans. I don't feel reasons to have reduced-temp-bans that restrict on particular boards/ sub-boards.

look, I'm afraid alts are dead and they will be dead for a very long time
When people massively talk about something is dead, altcoin, bitcoin, stock, whatever kinda assets, they usually end their winter, wake up and began their new growth season (rallying from bottom, exactly described). I do believe that from now till the end of this year, altcoins will recover impressively. It is important to remember that shit altcoins mostly have been dead and will hardly or never to recover, but for good ones, they will do rally after bottoming out. One above raised interesting point that bitcoin has not yet started its bull run with its new parabolic curve, so why have we all been depressed too much with altcoins?

Well done, fella. Your story is a good evidence that there are good users who fortunately ranked at high ranks at the beginning of the merit system, but still keep contributing and making good posts, then earning decent amount of merits. Shitposters often complain that high-ranked users who are Hero or Legendary members at the beginning of merit system should be deranked (by destroying all airdropped merits), but they don't realize that good users will do earn decent amount of merits, no matter which ranks they began with merit system. Many months ago, I looked at Hero and Legendary members, with a little jealous and admirable feelings, and thought that I would have never hit such ranks but finally I am here, as a self-made hero member. In reality, I have not been to far from the Legendary member rank.

To answer OP's question, I want to point out some main purposes of news/ information. - To catch attention of traders, especially newbies
- To trigger greediness
- To spread FUDs
- To trigger panic price actions from traders
There are more purposes of news/information, but note all of above ones, I think wise guys will know how screen raw news/ information and choose pure ones as part of their decision-makings. However, most of traders fall into set-up traps of news and information gave by whales. Falling into news/info traps will trigger bad, stupid decisions, selling at bottoms, ie. Ignoring news will help traders keep their capital safe, because sooner or later Bitcoin will do rally and hit its new all time high. If one can not make their good analysis and decisisons, determinantly hold and ignore news/info are better. Trends when formed don't last for hours or days, so people can live well in the market with trends, without instant, real-time news/ info.

This one is a proposed template to stake a bitcoin address in this topic. Electrum does not allow you to sign a message that is fully like this: -----BEGIN BITCOIN SIGNED MESSAGE----- I'm geppettobtc from bitcointalk.org and this is my address -----BEGIN SIGNATURE----- 191bX2Kv8yAsi1NrJEsu1Jonsij4fiB2G8 IC1aHr6lcXyYBc2rWxP3D49iiw1J3GMKw64LZ2kGNQH7NoSyFXayt+rsoAVL0p3EejDBpdPz2tdK79wYeewGJIQ= -----END BITCOIN SIGNED MESSAGE----- This is your turn to copy and paste three parts of your bitcoin signed message from Electrum, like I did above. I verified it, too.
It is better if you edit your message with date and don't include your email address like some people do. Disclosing your email address will put you under attacks, like phishing.

The second one, sure. I still think a bit lighter is better. Something like a half level of the current colors (for orange and grey, too).
