6521  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: SHARE YOUR EXPERIENCE on: November 29, 2020, 09:38:40 PM
I had experience of earning money on airdrops, and I will say that in most cases it is a waste of time. I have a number of different tokens on my wallet worth 10-15 dollars from various airdrops, but most of them are not traded on uniswap.
To sell them, I will have to register on various exchanges, but I don't want to.
Instead, look for promising coins and invest in them.
I advise you to start studying with Polkadot.
6522  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is NFT? on: November 29, 2020, 08:39:31 PM
Fungible tokens (FT) and Non Fungible Tokens (NFT) is't new idea but recently it has come to light with few new projects. Fungible  is changeable or replaceable or interchangeable. Non Fungible is just opposite of Fungible. It is not interchangeable or replaceable. I still don't rely on this trend and i consider it's a new hype.
Many DeFi projects have recently released their own NFTs. I think this is almost like a game where you can collect an NFT and you will get benefits or profit when you hold it, like getting an airdrop or something else
In this thread, I collect all interesting projects and games that use NFT tokens.
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5278144.0
This market is constantly growing, and new interesting projects appear every month. But the biggest prospect for these tokens is blockchain games.
Gamers are ready to spend huge money on skins.
6523  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: DeFi & NFT tokens project on: November 29, 2020, 08:32:46 PM
Honestly I never invest into any NFT ever, no collectibles no nothing. I never really understood the concept and I never will. It just doesn't sound like a proper investment to me and it is not there for real and I get that digital currencies may feel like they are not there neither but you can actually buy something with them as we all know, whereas you can't really buy anything with NFT, it is just... unique useless thing.

I get that art may worth something, like buying a Picasso is not just for hanging on your wall, it is an investment as well but it is never really just an investment neither, it is desired and a power symbol. These things do not have that at all, they are totally useless and they are unwanted and they became something everyone forgets very quickly.

People are divided into 2 categories: analog and digital. The older generation is the analog generation, for example:

https://twitter.com/SquawkCNBC/status/1232272324491173888
Warren Buffett said: "I don't own any cryptocurrency. I never will."

And the younger generation, who loves modern digital things, will give preference to NFT tokens and cryptocurrencies.
NFT tokens do not need complex and expensive expertise, special storage and restoration services Smiley

6525  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Mr. Mnuchin plans to regulate non-custodial wallets. on: November 28, 2020, 04:47:03 PM
I do not really understand the meaning of this bill.
Let's say I withdraw bitcoins from the exchange address to another address (I can declare that this is my address, that is, I move the cryptocurrency between my wallets).
Legal requirements have been met.
Well, then I can dispose of my funds as I want. I am not obliged to set the owner of the wallet to whom I will send my funds?

gettocat будем следить за практикой.  Я в этом году выведу последние активы с криптобирж.

I am ready to say thank you to this company for promoting Bitcoin to the whole world. But I do not recommend using their services to buy cryptocurrencies.
Users need to read a lot of small print in their user agreements.
It is sad that many people will get the first negative experience when using large custodial services.

6531  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ETH high gas fee on: November 27, 2020, 01:08:56 PM
I have paid a transaction fee of more than $ 5 but I think it's still worth it when claiming an airdrop from Uniswap. It is common for transaction fees on ethereum to change depending on whether the ethereum network is busy or not. Hopefully the launch of ETH 2.0 will reduce transaction costs
The launch of Ethereum 2.0 will not affect transaction costs in any way. It will be possible to transfer tokens only after phase 2 (they promise in 2022),
and before that the network will work with the same fees. I saw an EIP where most of it will be burned and not given to the miners.
But this is only a temporary solution.

Chinese Police Seize 1% of Bitcoin’s Total Supply
https://decrypt.co/49735/chinese-police-seize-1-of-bitcoins-total-supply
Scott Chipolina(C)

Chinese authorities have seized over $4 billion in crypto assets.
The funds were part of a major Ponzi scheme that exploited over two million people.
To date, 15 people have been convicted.

https://twitter.com/lawmaster/status/1332252655603822593

"This is massive news. The amounts seized by the Chinese police:

- 194,775 BTC (1% of circulating supply)
- 833,083 ETH (0.73% of circulating supply)
- 1.4 million LTC
- 27.6 million EOS
- 74,167 DASH
- 487 million XRP
- 6 billion DOGE
- 79,581 BCH
- 213,724 USDT

The court said "the seized digital currencies will be processed pursuant to laws and the proceeds and gains will be forfeited to the national treasury." Still not 100% clear what that means"

Good news, isn't it?
6534  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Avalanche can be the Ethereum Killer? on: November 27, 2020, 08:29:37 AM
Cardano,Polkadot,EOS.AION,NEO,TRON,ICON.. who will be next?
The most interesting news in 2021 will be talking about the Ethereum ecosystem. If the launch of Ethereum 2.0 is successful and the launch of Phase 1 accelerates,
then the other coins will have no chance of even getting close to Ethereum.
Have you noticed that "Ethereum killers" are getting smaller every year?
6535  Economy / Speculation / Re: ATH will be in 2021! on: November 27, 2020, 08:14:23 AM
In the news, they say that Chinese miners, who withdrew their coins from the OKEX exchange, are to blame for the fall in prices.
https://www.trustnodes.com/2020/11/18/miners-unable-to-sell-their-bitcoin-as-china-freezes-accounts
If this is the only reason for the fall in prices, then soon the market should turn around.
This is not the first time the Chinese have been accused of manipulating the price of bitcoin.

Надо изучать региональное законодательство районов крайнего севера, местные льготы малому бизнесу.

В моем регионе всех из малого бизнеса кто подал заявки, признали пострадавшими, проверок не было. Выплатили в срок компенсации и пересчитали налоги.
6537  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Mr. Mnuchin plans to regulate non-custodial wallets. on: November 26, 2020, 08:52:43 PM
Will this become a reality? And if something happens then, an end to confidentiality? "Last week we heard rumors that the U.S. Treasury and Secretary Mnuchin were planning to rush out some new regulation regarding self-hosted crypto wallets before the end of his term."

Would you disclose your wallets if such legislation came into force? Which countermeasures can be taken from Bitcoiners part? Any thought on that.

6538  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin in Freefall, What to Do? on: November 26, 2020, 08:36:56 PM
So bitcoin is down $3,000 today and it seems to be getting worse.  Do you think this will be like 2018 again when it went to $18,000 then tanked and went to as low as $5,000 in the next year or so?  What would you do in a situation like this now or in the future?
Look at the price charts in 2017. There was a similar situation. The market cannot keep growing.
This is just an attempt to take money away from the hamsters who bought bitcoin for 19,000 or more Smiley
Even if the bitcoin price falls by a few thousand more, then nothing terrible will happen. Next we are waiting for a new ATH.

Have you studied all the possibilities of DEFI well?

If you look at the statistics, then 7 million Ethereum coins are locked not only in trade.
Interest in this ecosystem has fallen, but this does not mean that there are no interesting projects there. When cross-chain projects start working, interest will start to increase again.
