6541  Economy / Reputation / Re: LFC_bitcoin sending PMs to his friends to oppose flag and bribing DT inclusion on: August 03, 2020, 09:14:22 AM
Be wary of these so-called cyber friends. Most are here in the forum to make money off signature campaigns or by any other means. I see 99.9999% of them as nothing but pixels on a screen but I do have respect for a handful of users that have ethics and morals and it is not just about signature campaigns for them.

I have no idea why you would consider BitcoinGirl.Club a friend. I remember reading some posts about you meeting some users in person and you vouched for them but did you ever meet BitcoinGirl.Club?

I doubt it’s hacked, he was speaking to me about how worried he was about making Side Chain angry. He was panicking Side Chain is an alt of a highly respected account. He’s either ratted me out, sold the account to Side Chain or faked a hack. All three possibilities are disgusting.

Very disappointed, not about the PM’s because there's nothing there I didn’t publicly admit any way. I’m disappointed in the break of trust of somebody I half considered a friend.

6542  Economy / Reputation / Re: LFC_bitcoin sending PMs to his friends to oppose flag and bribing DT inclusion on: August 03, 2020, 09:04:31 AM
With the password being reset there could be more to this story than meets the eye but it would be highly convenient that it happened in and around the time you were being harassed and targeted by the anti-Sportsbet brigade.

One possibility could be screen-sharing using a teamviewer type of software which the OP recorded without consent or knowledge.

There’s nothing in those PM’s that I’m bothered about. What am I supposed to be arsed about?

One thing I’m bothered about is BitcoinGirl.Club breaking my trust & sending PM’s to a newbie troll. Why, because he asked? Did he pay BitcoinGirl.Club for them? Why would you send a noob troll PM’s?
You fucking piece of shit, immigrant dirt eater. I sent this dick head money once before for his daughter. Absolutely pathetic cuckold, how dare you.
6543  Other / Politics & Society / Re: [BET] Trump or not Trump 2020, eddie13 vs suchmoon on: August 03, 2020, 06:39:31 AM
Those swing states seem to be the battle ground every 4 years. Sometimes they are blue and other times they are red but controversy in not that far behind when re-counts and on occasion Court injunctions are part of the equation but as difficult as it might seem I would not be surprised about vote rigging at any stage of any election process.

If a sitting President does decide to play games to prolong his stay in office then yes it can be seen as a conflict of interest. If memory serves correct the only time it happened that I can think of off the top of my head when a US election was delayed was during WW2 when Roosevelt was given permission by Congress to delay the election because of the war.

We have to remember that vote rigging is more possible in local elections where the only determining factor to determine the outcome of a race IS the popular vote. It's harder to do in the electoral college b/c of the fact that you'd have to know beforehand where the best states are to attempt to rig. Even with just knowing in broad strokes the swing states, it's still hard to get another 30k or so votes into a state.

In a regular local election which only relies on the popular vote, it's a bit easier. But with the EC it's not as easy -- b/c a rigged vote in Cali does not change the fate of the vote in another state.

But yeah, a sitting President obviously shouldn't be able to delay when their election happens. That's a clear conflict of interest and it's good that the founding father saw that a decision like that should be left to the Congress.
6544  Economy / Reputation / Re: Members Asking For Donations To Help Poor People on: August 03, 2020, 06:27:56 AM
Thank you for the detailed post.

Regarding following the work done by Royse777, I followed next to nothing of his because I have him on my ignore and distrust list, I absolutely do not trust him and it will probably stay that way until I review things further down the line. I unignored him for the sake of reading the OP about his donation thread work but promptly added him back. I also read some posts from users asking for donations to help those in need before I created the thread.

I agree with you about not letting some bad eggs discourage donors but making donations online here can only be done with a huge element of trust and so far not everybody including myself is confident that all people asking for donations have pure intentions.

As you stated there must be positive outcomes where people in need have benefited such as in the examples you gave about your assistance in your area and so on but the element of trust before parting with either crypto or cash is the real main obstacle for many.

I have some concerns about this and I want to ask how you feel about this because there is no way to ascertain whether any funds collected are even being spent on charitable causes.

Actually there's a way. Without trying to review any major information, @Royse777 was able to deploy a method he used to make sure the funds generated on the forum were used for a good course. He formed a team with users on the forum from different region and all those seeking for help got investigated properly. If you followed his work, you'll notice some users have been denied access to the funds they seek since their claims couldn't be verified to be authentic.

Another method he deployed to ensure funds were used rightly was he asked for you to work out a way to generate the funds, like borrowing etc and when the work is done you get refunded fully. I remember when he contacted me asking for my help in carrying out an outreach in my state . I had to run the expenses all by myself before I was refunded after the job is done. If you see a users seeking for help, and you feel like rending that help but also went the donations to be used rightly, you can asked someone that can be trusted on the forum closed to the region of the users in need to do some proper investigating, this might work.

Ps: Lets not let some bad eggs discourage us from helping those in need.
6545  Other / Archival / Re: [sportsbet.io] Responsible gambling failure, not honouring their own t&c's. on: August 02, 2020, 05:41:44 PM
You may be right but let us wait to see what happens when a Sportsbet representative gets in contact with you to address the issues you raised. I hope you post here and update us.

The biggest problem is operators hold the cards and they are happy to watch players lose but only enforce barriers when a player is winning. Had I been winning I truly believe it would have been a very different situation in that they would have flagged my accounts. Obviously that is not the case however so it's not a line of defence.

I am very interested to see sportsbet.io's take on this now that this case is public. I look forward to their reply.

I just checked, he last logged in 22nd July 2020 but made no effort to post here. Maybe this time he really has run off or has decided to create a new account and keep well away from those that are not afraid confront him or his buddies.

What are your views about the conspiracy theories being spread around by deluded Vispilio?

- He is claiming that bosses are controlling you
- He is claiming a company purchased the forum a long time ago
6549  Economy / Reputation / Re: Members Asking For Donations To Help Poor People on: August 02, 2020, 02:47:15 PM
Congratulations, so nice to hear about the good work you are doing by sponsoring a Ghanaian child. Hopefully your help with provide much needed help for him, maybe if he can an education and then get a good job he might be able to contribute to others that are from a disadvantaged background in his local area. Thank you for sharing this wonderful story.

I agree with you, I will never give any money to any user here claiming it is for charity. I support various charities in my own way and when I travel abroad I prefer to donate directly to those in need. Like you I want to see where my donated funds are being spent.

I give to my own selected charities, I always give to homeless people I see. Me & my girl have been sponsoring a young boy from Ghana for years, we send him stuff & receive photos & letters back to prove he’s received what we send.

People are welcome to do what they want but I will never give BTC to people on here claiming it’s for charity. No offence to anybody involved but I like to see where my money is going.
6550  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [ BOXING ]: Fury vs Wilder III in Las Vegas on 18th July 2020 !!! on: August 02, 2020, 02:15:25 PM
I agree, I think on a technical basis Fury is a better boxer that Wilder. Fury was not 100% back to his best as it was his return-to-the-ring process but there was no way Wilder managed to draw that fight, it was clear for me apolitical decision because Fury was the winner.

In the second fight Fury was back to his best, a total dominating beast that slowly broke down Wilder and knocked him down several times before finishing him off.

As for the third fight whenever it happens I think Fury will be just as dominant. Wilder will probably think about using his powerful right hand to catch Fury and not think about it going to a points decision but Fury will go in to the ring with all options and outcomes on the table. I cannot see it going to a points decision, I think Fury should knock out Wilder within six rounds.

They are both good fighters, but Fury is better than Wilder. The only person who can beat Fury is himself (as with the downward spiral he went into after beating Klitschko) - it's all down to his attitude and motivation, but I think we can assume he'll be sufficiently motivated for the 3rd Wilder fight. The first fight was an aberration and Fury was still on the comeback trail, the second fight was I think more representative of their abilities and was very one-sided. I can't see Wilder winning.
6551  Economy / Reputation / Members Asking For Donations To Help Poor People on: August 02, 2020, 11:45:55 AM
There are a few members that are asking for money to help people who are in need of food and medicine.

I have some concerns about this and I want to ask how you feel about this because there is no way to ascertain whether any funds collected are even being spent on charitable causes. With someone posting some comments or photographs about people receiving food or money does not prove anything so how can a donor be sure?

I am not saying any or all members asking for donations to help people who are in disadvantaged situations are scammers - I am not saying that !

I wish success to any endeavour by any forum member that is 100% genuine and is designed to help relieve people from worries and stress due to poverty.

What I am saying is that just because you donate some crypto with the intention of you doing a good deed does not mean that donation is going to the right place, it could in fact be going to the back pocket of the person behind the donation requests.

How can you be sure your donations will not end up being stolen?

How can you be not sure users in the forum asking for your donations are actually after merits and seeking free publicity to portray a better persona here with ulterior motives?

Could you open your own thread in the scam accusation section? It would be better if you listed all the facts and background information there, thank you.

hello, me too p2pb2p blocked my account since 5 days  for fake reasons, and my money is blocked. They do not answer and hangs up on me on their chat. It's scandalous.

6554  Economy / Speculation / Re: How Accurate Is The Bitcoin Market Capital? on: August 02, 2020, 10:58:38 AM
I like the interesting way you deduced "it must be real then"  Grin

If what we see around us are neither the real value of Bitcoin nor the real market capital of Bitcoin, I don't know how or if we could actually come up with a certain value or market cap of Bitcoin which we could consider as real.

What we are presented with right now are the market numbers which are now being accepted by everyone as real. So even if a portion of the volume that somehow drives up the value is fake or the supply of Bitcoin has now actually dwindled down due to lost coins, the resulting market price would still be the basis on which people buy and sell Bitcoin. It must be real then.

6556  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Pundi X - Any store can buy, sell and accept Cryptocurrency on: August 02, 2020, 10:10:30 AM
Investor confidence will remain low, it will not recover. It seems Pundi X cannot be saved now no matter what the team try to do because the damage was done a long time ago with mismanagement.

even though they released the roadmap and finished what they were working on did not have a significant impact, it all started with the team's mistake at the start of ZIBIN specifically
and disappointment is obtained from investors, with the amount of supply held by the team that dumps it into the market if there is an increase in price and the trading volume is manipulation, even if I am a big investor I will not touch this token with such a large supply and undermine confidence investor
6557  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [WARNING] UCIFETH - Fake Team, Beware sending money to their UCIF Scheme on: August 02, 2020, 10:04:28 AM
If you think about it, UCIFETH IS the great equalizer. Just about anyone could invest: rich or poor, young or old, boy or girl; anyone. All you need is an internet connection and access to Ethereum. And btw, you WILL earn 1% in 24 hours FOREVER.
What a ridiculous sock-puppet trash poster

Did you know:
- ANYONE with an internet connection and access to Ethereum could invest in this.
- There are no forms to fill out which means NO TAXES
WARNING - ONLY INVEST MONEY THAT YOU CAN AFFORD TO LOSE

Why don't you write it down? Give me your money and I'll give you some useless tokens! Your marketing will not work. Because you have been exposed from all sides. With fake teams, don't try to get investors anymore. No one will invest in your project. Because we will warn everyone not to invest in such scams.
This "UCIFETH" trash has SCAM written all over it. I added the fatsy and his sock-puppet samras1212 to my IGNORE list and left them appropriate feedback
6558  Economy / Speculation / Re: How Accurate Is The Bitcoin Market Capital? on: August 01, 2020, 08:14:30 PM
Over analysis can be a real pain but so can under analysis. There are several ways to calculate the most accurate price but how many would factor in the early addresses with many Bitcoins that will probably never be recovered?

But market capitalization is a metric that rarely gets used for something productive, most of the time it's just pointless comparing for this value between different assets. It's especially bad when people compare between different classes, like saying "Bitcoin's marketcap is bigger than PayPal".

It's one of those metrics carried over from shares where I think it's helpful for determining things like pe ratios for stocks..  (especially for working out if something is priced too high).

And a lot of the time people just like to produce as many figures as they can to try to work out how a certain asset could look. Much like big data analysers storing more data then they might ever need to process because the storage space was empty anyway (or something).

hey everyone how is that $1000 ETH going?
Give it some time it will get there  Grin

Five years ago this week, the first general-purpose blockchain went live on mainnet. Ethereum paved the way for a whole new use case for blockchain technology untethered from Bitcoin’s original vision as electronic cash.

Hard to believe 5 years have gone by, imagine what other innovations will be made in the next 5 years in ETH as well as its competitors.
