He founded the Online Wallet "inputs.io" which got "hacked" one day and lost about 4100BTCitcoins. I assume that TradeFortress / $username himself screwed off the coins.

Amazing ! So he ran off with 4100 BTC .... Roll Eyes. why does he not ashamed ?

Here in bitcointalk a lot of members attain the Legendary status.

Yes there a lot of them who is a great help to a certain site.

But should we trust them in every thing they say?

Look at their trust first Tongue

...and also to his "activity" here in the forum ( the last post, the topics , etc... ).
No, activity is a very poor indicator of a person's ability to be trusted. The activity is only an indication of how much time they have spent here. If a person who was going to scam has spent a long time here then he will have had a lot of time to study the market and what people will and will not believe and what they will and will not invest in.

If you are referring to quality of posts then it will only be an indicator of intelligence, and there are plenty of smart people who are scammers

Not the activity point (or activity counter) , I mean the activity = contribution here in the forum Wink. If you have contributed I don't think you will scam anyone.
Have you heard of tradefortress?

tradefortress aka $username ? Yes but  I never understood what happened ...

6548  Local / Mining (Italiano) / Re: [SONDAGGIO] Quanti Italiani fanno ancora mining? on: December 07, 2014, 03:27:38 PM

Hey guys,

I'm still waiting the list with the enrolled users and also some funds in plus ( because I think 0.20 btc will not cover all the payments). So please wait a little more and be patients, thanks for the attention.

The list is on the main page of the thread

I mean the list with the btc addresses Wink .

6553  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How do Escrows work and How to Escrow on: December 07, 2014, 01:24:49 PM
Hello, I've seen many people requiring an escrow..
So far from what I've observed escrows are middle men who keep the other party's barter
until the other one fulfills the deal.

I'd like to become an escrow some day but what are the requirements
and how long would it take to be a good escrow?

and if you can earn from escrow-ing?

Here an interesting thread about your questions : https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=621924.0

:-D io l'ho fatta solo perché era gratuita, non mi è costato nulla e ho voluto segnalarlo a tutti :-p

Bene ahaha
staremo a vedere Wink

6555  Other / Meta / Re: Theymos Uneasy about Advertising for Bitmixer.io.. on: December 07, 2014, 12:37:26 PM
If it were me making the decision it would be because their identity is well hidden and people could potentially send large amounts of money to them at one time, sometimes with the expectation they will not get anything back from them for a long time (and may not check to make sure funds were received for days). This would potentially make it easy for them to straight up steal money from their customers.

While BFL was certainly a scam, they did not straight up steal in this way.

Bitmixer.io have established themselves (in my eyes) for quite a while now. Just because their identity is obscured, doesn't mean their untrustworthy.

Yes you're right , but this is the terms :

....

I reserve the right to reject bids, even days after the bid is made. In particular, bids from people with less than 15 activity points are likely to be rejected. I recommend not getting into a bidding war with someone who has less than 15 activity points, as their bids might not be accepted, but your latest bids will still stand. If you need to know right away whether someone's bids will be accepted, PM me.

6556  Other / Meta / Re: Accuracy down to 98% on: December 07, 2014, 12:32:54 PM
My accuracy just went up one point for the first time since I got made a mod. Fom 97% to 98%. Only took 1,113 reports haha (assuming I didn't get any more bad reports in the meantime). Would still be interested to see if we can get an updated report table.

Seems like the subject of the OP and yours matches. Grin

Would still be interested to see if we can get an updated report table.

+1. Didn't got any reply from admin(s). I think theymos or Badbear(if possible) will give an update. Smiley

   ~~MZ~~

I think theymos at the moment is busy with the Ulrich  situation , and the accuracy table for now it is not a priority.
6557  Other / Archival / Re: Updated Overview of Bitcointalk Signature-Ad Campaigns on: December 07, 2014, 12:29:38 PM
why is CoinPiler still on the list? Shocked

Only for sometime... Just wait, he might come out of nowhere to pay the users. Huh Lips sealed

   ~~MZ~~

OP should at least put a * and warn about the payment problem

It's not a payment problem , it is a *scam* . Ppl must learn that an escrow is not more "recommended" but  it is needed.

When the escrow is more trustworthy than the member you are doing business with, you are lowering your risk because the escrow is less likely to scam than the member you are doing business with.

True, coinpiler was removed from the list! Smiley

@OP : Try to add 'added' to the change log after coinsweeper.com

Code:
6-Dec-2014: CoinPiler removed and Coin-Sweeper.com <here>.

   ~~MZ~~

Finally , but a lot of users have promoted his site for 1 month  Roll Eyes, we should dox him.

Is this contest alive or what?

OP? Smiley

Look's like signature contest become a land of scam.

He has told :

5 days from now then, I think there will be enough time to get some quality designs

from now (27 nov)
5 days later
finish on 2 December 2014

Still did not look any announcement from OP

OP  news ? Who win the contest ? Can we have a reply please ... Thanks for the attention.

For how much you sold your account and why ?

Here is his reply to  your answer :

How much did you sell your account for?

What activity number did you have?

Just curious, I'm not planning to sell mine, not yet any way Cheesy

I was a full member, and sold for 0.3 BTC.
